Final Boss (character rework)

The Final Boss is a highly anticipated addition to WWE that has garnered significant attention in recent months. Many within the community, myself included, have eagerly anticipated the arrival of the Final Boss in the game. However, there is widespread disappointment with the current portrayal of this character. I kindly request a reevaluation of the character's presentation to better align with the community's expectations of what the Final Boss should represent.

    I echo the disappointment expressed regarding The Final Boss's current portrayal in WWE Champions. It's disheartening to see the character fall short of expectations. I fully support the call for a re-evaluation to ensure the card aligns with our collective vision of how strong The Rock is portrayed on WWE TV. I would be happy to assist in any potential discussions of a rework if the development team comes to an agreement that one is needed.

    I 100% agree that the rock currently does not feel like a final boss. He seems fine at six silver but we’re in the six gold meta now and he is not that great. A lot of his moves don’t feel right. Like a striker with botch gems. Or his triple yellow build having a health steal but his finisher makes the whole board yellow. Also his combo move feels lackluster compared to the other 4 especially charlotte and hhh. Some of his moves need a buff and maybe even a full rework. I believe he is the showdown character so he might get a plate and even a moment at the end of the event but he shouldn’t need those in order to be a top striker those should make him even more of a top striker or even a god tier character.

    The Final Boss is a huge disappointment to all the hype that surrounded him. To have him finally in game and to see what he does is utterly disappointing.

    Not even worth the resources to bring him up in rarity

    Yeah this just doesn't make any sense unless you planning on bringing out a new one next month.

    the Final Boss is very underwhelming sadly. He should be much much more powerful. Being a botch gem striker seems out of place for him and he does not hit hard at all. To add to this, we don’t have a top-tier version of The Rock. Even the nation of domination version is going to be way out of line once six star gold gets fully going. I would suggest finding a way to make the final boss version of the rock his absolute best version. When he was on the stage, he was top-tier and deserves to be handled in the same fashion. Multiply gems at a high level? A choose move that doesn’t move the pin bar? Something to fix him overall.

    You know, for my liking, this card would have been pretty alright a month or two ago in the 6ss age. But the design of this is a very bizarre one to me.

    With the beginning of a new rarity cap, you would think the first (essentially) chase card for an MLC would be someone you would be motivated to push for an acquire and maybe even bring to the new six gold level but this card does anything but inspire that. Obviously some of the early HoF upgrades are misleading in terms of general health pools but like even bringing some down a notch. A 5m base health steal is pretty nice! Until you think about how most 6sg cards will probably be pushing at least 75m health or so.

    He has nothing to amplify his damage. Just feels rough to have a card and a persona people have been clamoring for and awaiting and now he's in game and I haven't seen a sliver of excitement for it. Does nothing at this current stage of the game.

    💯 agree with all comments above. He's close, but doesn't, IMO, move into the new 6SG meta. As one of the first in this meta I feel a touch up would be great. I don't feel that a poster of this desire should require a super rare special.plate to excel into the meta they were introduced in.

    I also agree. Was very much hoping he was going to be highly gem damage focused, given that's where the new era is shifting, but was left disappointed to find out that it's power gems, an entity we've already been told is going to be less powerful as we enter this new state of the game

    I didn’t want to post again but I think I need to because it’s been 15 days and we still haven’t heard anything from scopely if rock is getting a rework or not. I presume he’s not now but they can at least say something. Now that I and lot of other players have rock I want to share my opinion now that I have him and have used him.

    He’s not bad in the six bronze and sliver meta(mine is currently six bronze) but he definitely lacks in the six gold meta which is a poor decision because he is our first chase introduced into the new meta.

    His plate does make him a great striker but there are a few problems I have with this. 1. The character shouldn’t need a plate to be in the six gold meta. 2. The plate is so good that it doesn’t even require him to be six gold. I bet even a 5 star bronze rock with his plate can beat a six gold. 3. Their are other characters that benefit more from his plate then he does, so if I ever get his plate it would most likely not even be worth putting on him but rather someone else.

    Now that we are in weekend three I doubt a rework will happen but I don’t think he needs a full rework in order to fit into the gold meta. All I think he needs are two very simple changes. 1. His health steal goes to 7mp instead of 9. Basic change but without his plus 99mp he can only sub on the first turn(unless you have perks but it doesn’t matter in feud)but if the health steal is only 7mp he can steal heath and sub turn one, and that automatically gives him about 10 million more damage. 2. Make remaining sub gems turn into multis of strength 20. This is how he’ll actually scale a lot better and be worth taking six gold. The damage isn’t crazy by any means but it does the job. This way triple yellow is a gem damage and health steal build that scales into six gold and if you get his plate becomes a turn one killer with his botch build.

    I hope you moderator’s are reading (and maybe even responding) to this because literally no one would hate the idea of rock being better. I mean there’s a good amount of people on this post that expressed their disappointment to rock, and after the rock bag mess up I personally think making rock better would be a nice thing to do for the community.

    several forum and town hall mods advocated for it providing reasons why many complained and ways to imrpove it so there was support but ultimately he is a "free" mlc chase character and they tend to be good but not top tier but i'll keep giving the feedback

    Now I’m not totally sure if rock is completely free because if I’m under 400 shards for him at the end of the mlc it would mean that without the bag mess up I would not have gotten him. But I would like to suggest something that would greatly help rock that would not require a rework/buff. Sorry in advance if this is really long to read but I want to go as in depth as possible.

    I do agree for the most part that chases are good but not top tier but there are a few exceptions. The first two that come to mind is ph strowman and hof rey. Both were good and with plate’s became top tier. You guys could do something similar with rock where there is another plate other than his own that benefits him greatly and makes him six gold worthy. My second and probably better suggestion is to do something similar to what you guys did with zcody. Cody was an anticipated zombie but was underwhelming to the majority of the community. We asked for buffs and he did get one, but it was not enough to make him good so everyone kinda just forgot about him. That is until his gear came out and completely changed the character. I have his gear and he is now a turn one monster and I would consider even better than ph strowman which when Cody came out was miles behind him. I propose that you do the same with rock. Make his gear wm 40 night 1 or 2 and make it very strong. I think yellow gem 400%-500% would be an excellent choice. While it might seem strong he only makes the board yellow with no increase or multi’s so at six silver with a good belt and everything he would do a bit over 30 million and that’s no matter what turn two after plus 99 mp goes away. But this way he’s gem damage so he is worth taking gold. And this gear could be perfect if we have a Samoan mlc or character like Tama Tonga for the up coming weekend. I think the players and scopley would benefit greatly with a week long event that at the end in like a bonus milestone or two behind gold box is this new rock gear. Because one, people who didn’t get rock now will try and pull him and get his gear and I would say if they maxed the whole week long they get rocks plate which brings in good money as well because if you make this a week long rock could even be a bonus point for the mlc making people want rock and his gear even more. So that is my main suggestion/feedback I hope scopley takes it into consideration.
