Final Testament Showdown Contest Feedback

I feel like because I'm a free player that I'm at a severe disadvantage in a lot of ways. Over 90% of the time I can't get any of the special loot coins because they are only available if you buy them or if you complete the hell level and that's almost impossible.
In your challenges even in the normal mode you have the opponent at over 30,000. That's normal? No I could understand 15,000 maybe 20,000 with hard being like 25,000 then hell at over 30,000.
Also get rid of the repeated moves. There's one with The Rock once he gets his special moves built up it's just special move after special move after special move until you're knocked out.

Overall the character Kross is good, setup is good . But to obtain the character from pulls is totally disgusting. Only getting 5-25 shards. How does this makes the game fair. You only want us to spend spend spend all our hard earn money. Scopely will probably read this. If you're talking about fairness, make the pulls worthwhile increase the odds.
For the prize wall, it's impossible to get the decent plates or prize, you need to do better.
Your talking about fairness which I don't believe you. You need to make serious changes about purchasing which needs to be reduced alot. We players shouldn't be spending too much into this dum game.. look at the amount of negative comments. Send this to your FINAL BOSS and ceo of scopely.

A different feedback than normal: I suggest making the scores so that you don't need so much rare characters to get to the 1.800.000 milestone or it's at least achievable by grinding.
The rest is always the same

Pain points
- Lack of CSS preventing players from collecting all solo points
- The task requiring players to break 6 green gems in one move, 300 times, was inordinately difficult for players that did not have Striker Kevin Owens, which got plenty of use this weekend
- The showdown grind for the faction contest is not what I would classify as fun but is, at least, free as long as you have the right cards
What I enjoyed
- The new 1MP+tag reworks have allowed for a greater variety of cards to return to viability in showdown
- Tours were fine
- Prize wall was good enough

Unfortunately another weekend character I didn't get while several others got it from chest and loot it's really frustrating ending up 400/500 shards short of recruit aswell.
0 -
I found it rather difficult to obtain enough tokens to get anything of value on the prize wall.

I like the character just wish i could get the shards.

It's.... fine? The ccs being so rare is starting toget a little annoying and the "Break x gems x times" stipulations are waaaaay too grindy
0 -
Reaching the milestones is just too difficult. And without buying tokens it is impossible to get a 3 star superstar, for example

Overall it was a good event even though I didn't get him. His card looks balance.
Prize Wall Medallions should be free at least 5k. So we can get rare skill plate.

Ill try this for the third time, not sure why it keeps declining my posts
The Good -
*Tours were fine, and I liked the mix of superstars
*I did not get frustrated with the SD, and this is an event I usually dread
The Bad
*Loads of solo contest points locked behind rare CSS. Max coin promoters cant be taken up due to lack of tokens
The Ugly -
*Please dont make us choose between providing for the faction or trying to chase solo points. Its not a good feeling.
ALl in all - fine weekend. Nice to build back up coins for the SD shop

These events to get faction points by grinding matches just suck. SD was a weekend where I could use my energy and then just hit every now and then through the day. This method encourages taking 10 minutes per match to maximize your points. No one likes it, just stop.

Tours were fine, and I did not get frustrated in the event
Not a big fan of having lots of CSS points locked behind very rare CSS, or coin promoters when you are stuck taking them up due to a lack of tokens
Please do not have events where we need to choose to help our faction or help ourselves. Thats not a good feeling on a grind event where both outcomes should be achievable.

still need lots of work on prizewall. Getting to the gold chest and only have 3k medallions. Choice is 15 green shards or an ultimate belt. Should have better and more choices. Again, add shards of older wrestlers to prize wall in addition to new people. Make is 100 to 200 shards of older people. Prize wall continues to be disappointing.

This was one of the better and smoother running contests. The pairing of opponents seemed to be a bit closer to my roster.
I did experience two lockups during matches where I had to eat a loss because it was stuck on loading.
Prizewall was fair.

honesty showdown has become the event i least look forward to. As soon as i saw the requirements for this on the blog I was instantly switched off from any kind of solo event progress due to not having the super expensive CM Punk and the Striker version of Kross who is still very rare.
Locking so many solo event points behind these superstars makes me spend less money since I’m so far away from hitting the 1.8m milestone. If I was closer to hitting it I can almost guarantee I’d buy energy to hit it.
The other tasks were fine. Enjoy the break ‘instert gem’ tasks as it makes me use guys I probably wouldn’t normally use.
Tours were fine as usual.
faction event was fine and rewarding for those who put in the time. The prizewall was awful. Not a lot of currency available and the prices are ridiculously high. For example 50 Dvon shards for over 10k medallions. That’s insane, showdown events a year ago were much better as you could eventually recruit the characters over the next few months from the prizewalls. With how little shards are on offer for astronomical prices it’s taking much longer to get these guys.
Easy enough to forget the solo event in showdown exists. Take what you can get for free and move on.

As a faction leader, I can confirm the new "break a special gem to earn points towards the faction event" element of SD has not been warmly received. Fewer than half of our members hit the target score, which isn't a normal ratio for us (and we still finished firmly in the Top 10).
I appreciate that this scoring method may have been created to challenge people to use different posters and be more thoughtful with their gameplay rather than shooting for "Turn 1" wins over and over with their strongest assets, but I think it creates a frustrating task for those who are also struggling to get to 1.8 million points without optimal IOW promoters, while also keeping an eye on the Notoriety Leaderboard and SD Leaderboard (for Prize Wall Medallions).
Then again, if the goal was more specifically focused on forcing people to buy Energy to perform adequately in Showdowns - well done!

This showdown actually better, at least I did alot better with the addition of the revamped characters. However, the prize wall did not have enough variety of good items, especially of you didn't get over 5k coins. It would be great to have a event that is more achievable for all players to be able to get the new character at least in the prize wall. Maybe even a global community event that way everyone can actually have a chance instead of the top few players or those that spend hundreds

I liked the contest, I did very well getting new characters added

The event was fine. I only have one issue with it.
So few prizewall tokens available without spending an egregious amount of money.
if we are going to have the option to recruit the character off the prizewall then we should be able to get at least half the amount through milestones and such. After maxing the milestones up to the gold chest, making purchases, faction maxing the faction contest, finishing all tours and getting the faction rewards I finished with about 9,000. Didn’t even spend them. Wasn’t worth it to me.
Sure you can spend that to get coins or TP but if you want something worth getting like a plate or the character you can’t get there. I miss being able to grind and get a character in a milestone or off of the prizewall.0 -
I kinda like the new kross with the gem damage build he hit hard adn for sd he is pretty hit hard guy

decent showdown

I think that there needs to be an OR between the stipulations for milestones and the restrictions on which superstars can be used.

Feedback for Final Testament Showdown
- For the first time in such a long time, I am truly enjoying Showdown. Wow, can't believe I am saying this. The recent changes to some of the characters have made SD fun and viable again otherwise with the changes you've made there was no real balance to the regular players but I can imagine many "Whales" or "heavy spenders" won't be happy considering as long as you had a decent sized roster SD is now no longer dominated by them but it's created an even playing field. Personally I love this change!
- I suppose the difference the heavy spenders can take advantage of is to spend on those energy to set themselves apart but other than that it's a level playing field.
- I think I am accepting of these changes considering balances were introduced and the fact that we also have ways to climb SD and contribute to Faction points by simply grinding.
- New Karrion Kross seems interesting and nice to have another version of his, although I can argue that maybe this should have probably been a Trickster version of him.
- Solo Tours were good as there wasn't any requirement that felt heavily restricted. My only surprise is there was no requirement for using the old Karrion Kross.
- The SD CSS requirements on the other hand is starting to feel ridiculous especially needing both Punk and the new CSS character that's sitting behind quite a number of points.
- The Prizewall looked fantastic with plenty of amazing options but alas what was provided for F2P seems abysmal to even get any of the good items. Glad I could get enough to come away with some new PH Roman shards, so happy with that.
Overall, really love the game's improvement to making SD fun again where it seems rather playable and continuing to keep Open requirements for Offense is probably a better option rather than being forced to rotate requirements every event.

I am glad the new points method for faction event has been like it was again. I'm hoping this kind of thing also goes onto feud weekends. There's nothing I hate worse than wasting resources on leveling up a 6 star because it's the best bakery for faction points.
The CSS for the tours was great this time around too.
The prizewall was good as well. I happened to have the superstars that had shards available, but please keep how it was for the event.
The SD itself was great. I liked having a variety of people I could have used to get points for myself and for faction points. I didn't have the required people this time around to hit the 1,800,000 milestone, but I'm hoping next time around I will.

The showdown event was average in the sense that play was ok, CSS needed were almost impossible to have and the prize wall was unattainable with the very low amount of coins provided for it.
Be more realistic about how to obtain the coins as the prize wall should not be a cash ripoff.0 -
I got him during the Halloween zombie tour.

This spring breakout tour is ok.
