BIG MONEY FLASH FEUDS
Comments
-
The flash feud weekend was definitely really tough. I would have not maxed personally if I was not off the entire weekend. The scoring in the battleground event or the feud itself needs more rebalancing. Flash to me is time and I shouldn’t have to play more than probably half of each to max the battleground event.
The tours was fine, I was able to use ladies like Queen Zelina who I haven’t used in a long time. Having more shard bags in the tours were a good thing, but the amount of shards should be 1500 for a 4sg recruit minimum.
The feud itself was plagued with connection issues. When I was able to play, it was good to go 5 maybe 6 deep each feud. Found this with max feud promoters to help a bit even though the points were a bit paltry. The faction event needs to stop being about who can pay $20 to get faction points as it puts a lot of players in a disadvantage. Why just have the faction points as warscore and TU only? This would also increase participation in the flash feud themselves.
I seen a lot of my friends and faction mates who got great new release cards or the new Jade Cargill poster. I unfortunately did not get anyone new, almost had Roxanne who I wanted for her training ability, but ended up 5 shards short. The feud shard bags are the way to go if you are like under 100 shards short. I just wish all of them were 1k shard loot coins each and 20 shards minimum. This 10 shard business are for the birds!
Overall, the weekend was just meh and extenely painful for time. I want to spend less time on this game, not more! Got the Mark of the Hero plate, got really close to Roxanne and closer to having enough SB Focused shards for Sheamus. We need more avenues to getting different shards and especially the focused shards in each class (Showboat and Trickster especially)!

So the changes made to this Flash Feud were a definite upgrade from the previous Flash Feud.
The leaderboards for the individual warscore is a joke. The 1st place gets the poster and then everyone else gets trash. You can at least add some shards or bring back the solo points that they used to have or that the regular feuds have.
The amount of shards available from the contest being reduced from the what was previously available in flash feuds needs to also be changed back.
As of now Flash Feuds will join Faction Boss on my no spend weekend list as it's either pull the Poster or be without. No Shard recruiting.
In general I despise Flash Feuds as they take up an entire weekend as opposed to regular Feuds taking only 20 hrs.

I really liked this battleground format compared to last one .I hope let's continue in future overall it's nicely designed this time with better rewards.

I liked the mix of common css and super rare css. Maybe as a middle tier of css that were mlc chase characters. Too often it’s a super rare weekend pay character or a common free. Something in the middle for the people that pay a little money would be nice. I thought the flash feud layout was better than last time. Still need to work on the balance of prizes on The Weeknd medallion wall. The prizes for people that don’t spend are garbage. Put some shards to older wrestlers vs just the new wrestlers from the last month or two. Put up really old plates that have been out for years.

I wished the 30 for 20 pulls lasted all weekend. May of bought..
The new scoring system is okay. It makes it hard to grind for rewards though since warscore doesn't add up to a ton of points. Idk. I'm fine with the new system.
Jade looks decent. The tours were good. I was able to max without spending. Good event!

Reflecting on the goals stated in the blog for this event
- Consolidate Rewards and objectives for player clarity
By all accounts, this is done well - the path to understanding how the solo and faction contests are different has never been more clear and consolidating the rewards helps to avoid needless menu navigation to see "what's next"
- Maintain the opportunity for the community to have four chances at earning a Poster via Warscore, catering to all time zones.
Four different winners here, again, a successful mission
- Add additional stretch Milestones with new Rewards, giving flexibility with how players reach those new Rewards.
The flexibility is maybe up for debate but I think the new rewards are a welcome addition and, based on the leaderboards, maybe there's room to push players further.
- Create a clear advantage for acquiring
and using a variety of Superstars, while still providing the Rewards you
are used to grinding Warscore for
This is the biggest point of all - I finished at 150 million missing seven CSS and there's no denying that if I had paid more and more to unlock those characters I would've had a much bigger advantage over those who didn't. The resulting gap is not literally insurmountable, but is maybe a challenge for most players with those kinds of lofty aspirations.
—I don't know. I'm 410 shards away from the weekend character and that's not a massive departure from other weeks. But this felt a lot less draconic than the scoring last month. I'd consider it an improvement for most people who are serious about the time they dedicate to feud and more of the same for the people who approach it from a casual angle. And this provides a very clear statement to those who aspire to max everything - every superstar matters, whether you like how they play or whatever - they matter.

After the issues from last month's Flash Feuds, I appreciated all the efforts and updates that went into this month's contest. You could tell the feedback was taken seriously and the changes were very noticeable.
Having a Flash Feud on a holiday weekend was never going to be ideal, but the only event that could have replaced it would be a weekend showdown (since it's individual), but the faction would probably still be lacking for those who couldn't play or play as much as they normally would.
That being said, I really liked how low the thresholds were in each feud to max the faction component of the contest. Even if you could only get on for a couple of feuds in the window, you still had a great chance to max that and help the rest of your faction.
This was a good balance of being able to utilize CSS (that I unfortunately didn't have too many of) or griding to get as many rewards as possible and/or max. The new scoring system was better than I think people gave it credit for, I just don't think they understood it fully. Simplifying things from last month was great, and doubling the warscore for the battleground contest was excellent.
The tours involved were all accessible and great to max, nice having some common wrestlers be CSS in there, albeit older/weaker ones. That's a nice balance, you either have some of the better stars in the game or can use older wrestlers that maybe you've brought up over the years.
The rewards in the milestones were excellent. Nice to get shards (wish we got more, but that's a different story) in them, and I loved the inclusion of moments/plates (that seemed more common than past rewards).
I would have liked to have seen a couple more chase superstars as CSS, vs. just the recently-released or really old ones - a nice medium/third option would be good to reward those who are consistent players.
Overall, this was a great update to last month and I'm intrigued to see what next month brings…

I loved it! I love the new changes to the perks, as you won't have to use the same superstars from time to time. I was not able to recruit Jade, though.

Great job team!
I thought the new feud system was a great change! The contest superstars are more rarer than usual but having the warscore grind makes it achievable.
The feud bags had terrible odds though, I spent a good 10K shards trying to pull some rarer shards and all I got were the more common superstars. The first time this option came out, the odds were much better.
The faction contest could incorporate some of the "break gem tasks", they seems to get a lot of faction participation.
Everything else worked as intended.0 -
First I like to say I'm glad Jade Cargill is in the game.
Flash feud battles grounds css for feud was fair
Limited time tours was fair
Prizewall rewards was ok.
Overall great feud. Jade is powerful new card.

3rd attempt at posting this now. Not sure what happened this morning!
Flash Feud is my worst mode on the game by far and I dread when this weekend comes around. This weekend was a pleasant change to last months.
A few things I'd like to see different next time - rewards from the loot coins earned needs a change, 5 shards feels iike a kick for all the time spent grinding. The 50 shards for last months feud character could be higher. Could you stretch the grindable rewards to maybe the top 2000? I know I will never hit 800 on a flash weekend, so tend to stop trying once I get to where is reasonable for the time. Also the lack of normal feud coins on prizewall, for me, made prizewall seem very unappealing. One 6ss token as a reward isn't great.
Positives - 20 for 20 loot was great, I had a go on that. The points were much fairer than last month and made things more bearable. Tours were sufficiently challenging which is always good.
Let's keep the changes coming for next mlc!

Feedback for Big Money Flash Feud
- The combined and updated Battleground Competition is something hard to come to terms with especially when it was a standalone event, seeing yourself reach the last milestone by grinding out the fued felt like such a great achievement but now yo just have to accept that the combination with Superstar competition means it's never going to be possible unless you have every CSS required fued superstar. For someone who is in the non-heavy spend bracket that means for all 4 fueds I could only do 2 CSS so I ended up only doing 100m warscore. There's absolutely no way in hell I could grind out the rest by just fueding that's astronomically insane.
- The only positive I will take away with this change is knowing the far reach I am from maxing the battlegrounds event, so best I just do what I can and call it quits.
- At one point it felt like there was advantage to using the loot coins for bags but with the added garbage shards it felt better to go back to loot pulls instead and I'm glad I did as that looked like I was getting better odds to slowly get shards of new posters.
- Prizewall wasn't that great but atleast was able to acquire enough to get new Buh Buh Shards.
Overall, still not impressed with the re-work personally. It's not my flavour seeing that I cannot max one part of the event during when I was able to in the past. Which again just tells me, I either spend to get what I want or choose not to spend to take what I can get. At this stage, will go with the latter.

Events are pretty standard and a lot of aspects we know what to expect so Im going to keep overall feedback simple.
Positives- I really liked that you laid out the changes and why you made them. This contest seemed better than last but still some room to increase my enjoyment.
- I like how the Feuds were grouped by gender. Female Female Male Male to help save plate and medal bits from moving them around. Seems like some of the community could have used communication in the blog on why this was seemingly done.
Negatives- Previous Flash Feud Superstar Shards are behind the final milestone. Overall you made a lot additions to the event however anytime you reduce the path to recruiting superstars it is a negative in my book.
- I still often find a lack of motivation to continue to feud after my CSS and Faction contributions are done.
How I would improve- I think the player base would appreciate more reasons to grind. Can you grind out the current comp? Yes, but I would counter with those that are doing it would do it anyway and the goal should be increasing engagement in the the middle of the pack players (where I see myself) and lower players. To do this I would add two things:
- More CSS - increases variability of feud lineups can add more premium but I would argue for more readily available to increase participation and vary lineups.
- Bonus Warscore Points for each feud to add value to participating more fully in each feud.
Another thing I would also like to add is sandbagging feud rosters is something I think many players do at this point. Adding some form of bonuses to entice higher feud lineups is the next area I would like to see addressed.

Hi guys
As I've mentioned before feud is probably by far my least favourite game mode in the game.
ThE changes you made this time around made it slightly more bearable without having to take up a whole weekend
A few things I'd like to see different- loot coins weren't on offer this weekend via prizewall, which made prizewall not very appealing. Prizewalls don't feel the best value - 7 coins for one 6ss token is a bit naff.
The prizes for loot coins we earnt for placing could be better, 5 shards feels like a bit of a kick for all the effort being in over the weekend.
The 50 shards for last feud character for me could do with a higher value.
The 20 for 20 on the portal was a great idea I jumped on that and had a go. More like this please!
A good weekend all round, tours were sufficiently challenging which I always like.
Upgrade values could be higher and I'd be tempted to push more down over the flash weekend

Not sure where my first post went so trying again.
To summarise; flash feud is by far the weekend I dread on the calendar, its time consumingand I can't play at 1am due to timezones (which I get can't change), however this time wasn't so bad, and managed to get what I wanted from the weekend (I knew I wasn't going to max via grinding).
The rewards to this don't appeal when i know I'm never hitting 800th or better. If you spread the rewards further I think more people would try to max for the added bonuses.
The 20 pulls for 20 was a great addition and something I liked and went for!
The rewards for the other loot coins needs a refresh, 5 shards is a bit of kick in the nuts for the time taken to achieve the results.
50 shards for previous feud character also could be higher and make me want to get closer quicker.
Tours were sufficiently challenging as always which i like.
A better weekend than usual for me, let's keep it going into next mlc please!

Jade Cargill flash feuds!
woo-Man, what an event.Jade is definitely the best showboat female - a poster that many have been asking and waiting for! With many 6mp moves, she’ll still be the fastest showboat feuder even without the +99mp boost. Love her look, love how hard she can torch and hit - 10/10
the Big Money loot and Feud Loot posters are looking awesome. The posters in there are all so relevant. So needless to say i don’t love that i couldn’t get Jade on my roster, or Any of the posters i needed for that matter.. (even though i got the 200 million feud points for event and am top in my faction for the feud)
Albeit spending more and finishing the tours, having only 1 featured per max pull compared to 3 featured in Showdown event loots is.. well a huge sweat. Real tough - 7.51/10
In terms of flash feud timings, i did all i could for FF1 and FF4. Reset is daily 2am for me. But your planning is superb. I had quality time to spend with my family for Easter Sunday during FF3 and could still do some matches. I only have 2-unmaxed feud promoters, so the weekly packs that gave me full feud perks definitely came in super handy.
From milestone rewards, i finally got a new Moment (though it isn’t one I’d be using), i got 3 (repeat) skill plates on top of the resources.
Again, not loving my odds and my luck but totally loving this event and the scoring system + the breakdown of scoring system in the Champs blog shows that you listen and care - 11/10
The prizewall is tremendously well planned and put together: with women’s ultimate straps being more accessible, both to those who want to purchase from the portal, and those who are willing to grind their way to the top for the medallions to trade for rewards. Also think that the prizewall rewards are very decently priced. My only upset is I’m not sure why the differing Big Money Feud Bags are priced so differently? It’s a tough one to crack - whether to get bags or pull the feud loot. But as usual, thankful that you’re giving us players a variety of choices. - 9/10
Speaking of variety, i mentioned in my previous Bionic feud event comment (that somehow failed to post after i edited) that it’s a huge win to have varied and alternating tasks for the feud events. Such as spend in-game-cash in one, then fuse and evolve superstars in the next, and then level up 5 and 6* superstars in yet another. It shows to me that Scopely cares for the longevity of their champions players by allowing differing resources “room to breathe”. Awesome and thanks. - 10/10
on top of all these i just want to add that I’m loving the 5-week mlc duration; the alternating boss and feud weekend events; the frequency of Showdown event (enough to keep re-topping up those showdown coins but not overbearing in frequency). - excited for the upcoming midweek SD event and mystery superstar! Thanks for putting together this fantastic game!
Sincerely,
Holy7755710 -
this flash feud was a lot better than last month.
I like the option to either spend your feud coins on pulls or bags with shards.

Take a closer look at this event:
Good:
- perfectly reworked event score relative to the previous attempt(It’s quite possible to achieve the maximum through grinding).
- Easy faction event (lots of ways to get faction points).
- New character (many wanted her to be added to the game. Not a bad coaching ability).
Bad:
- Disgusting wall of prizes (a wall of prizes for an event in which there is actually nothing to take).
- Disgusting donation coins (This time it’s just too much. There are SOOOOO many free characters, and even those from 3-4 years ago are therefore not playable. I received 4 or 5 out of 7 open coins. I think that it would be possible to make at least newer ones or at worst, replace them with shards of newer characters).
- Poor technical stability of the feud mode (For many of my clanmates, the game actually did not start searching for players, I also had crashes about once every five matches)
- Bad prizes in the chest itself with prizes (I mean unnecessary parts of belts, etc., which for some reason are stuffed into prizes and it’s not very nice to receive 200k pieces of belts for such a large amount of time spent. I think that only event coins should remain there and dies, there’s nothing else to do there).
Let's summarize:the event turned out to be many times better than the previous one, it’s good that our voice was heard, but something needs to be done with donation coins, otherwise you will lose the desire to pay money for it (here, even free keys actually give better results than these donation coins) and of course you need to regulate it yourself prizes. I give this event 6/10.

Any winner for this contest?

@Stagger Lee I think they forgot about this 1 too

Probably won't help my chances, but this is still unpicked for feedback responses? @JD Rayne @DKMangler @JD Rayne

@Stagger Lee @DKMangler @JD Rayne - this still is showing unpicked?

I'm checking into this. I thought a winner was picked last time you tagged me but might be remembering wrong.

There wasn't enough feedback given to pick a winner so it was intentionally skipped
