The event itself wasn't that bad. I just wish I wasn't so burnt out on doing 14 straight weeks of Showdowns. We need to do at least 6 months straight of SD like Road to Mania MLC with 3 SD's in the month. Adding another rotating row of 3 more items in SD store to include medal bits, strap parts & IOW affiliation straps.

Recent SD was very disheartening as not having certain CSS u have no chance to even considering maxing.

Cons:

Energy restrictions need to be adjusted alot the number of matches to max far exceed the free amt and even if you spend its not that feasible.

SD coins also need adjustments as just 1 per coin is not good when even with max promoters u have to do over 100 matches to get free milestones which is undoable due to Energy see above

Low prizewall currency and again a prizewall that doesn't help a mid to low spender is a running joke at this point it seems need more valuable things cheaper like old plates or tier 2 medals

I'll be honest wasn't much Pros I can think of aside from breaking certain gems for points is kinda helpful.

Showdown has to be my least favourite mode in game, few suggestions that could make as events better.

1) the shop needs looking at, maybe add a extra row to the shop and put some shards in there for top tier superstars ( doesn’t have to be a lot) soon as you have promoters and the few superstars you can get shards for, there isn’t much need to grind showdown apart from the free coin and tp which is top 2 rows.

2) weekend events, need to be a way to grind for energy, with the outlandish css that keep being required for event, its plain for everyone to see, its either pay or dont succeed, at least offering grind able energy gives everyone a chance to grind event. Even if that is on the tours putting the last loot case as energy, so people have to grind the tours to get energy to grind the sd event, still would be better than this current format.

3) the prizewall, very overpriced, titan plate used to be on the skill plate wall yet was 5k which for free to play players was un obtainable, why not have a bigger variety of skill plates on prize wall, I for one may be encouraged to spend if the prize wall was better, if being honest pretty much every prize wall I’ve past month or 2 haven’t been great.

plenty more could be done to make sd relevant again but the above 3 are prob main ones

I liked the contest mainly because the Dudleys are awesome. Lucky I had the contest characters to do the tours but it was very challenging to get the milestones for the rewards. The showdown very difficult to hit milestones. I worked for an hour to be able to hit 1 milestone but overall the contest was fun and interesting. Maybe next time make the milestones just a touch easier to hit.

Hi There,

Over the last month I made several pull purchases and did not get one really good card. I recieved a lot of the stuff I already have. I think if you make a purchase with real cash there should be a system that would at least look at what I have and at least give me 1 or 2 new stars.

Personally I feel like i am being ripped of everytime i do one of these. I will not be buying them anymore unless there is an improvement. This is not a threat just my thaught about it.

I think if you give a little more value it would create more sales for you anyway because more people will buy those if they know they will at least get a good card. When I buy a 23 card pull give me one or two new character, maybe one decent and one old card but new cards. I get how important shards and the other stuff is but I baught those because I missed the months characters and was hoping to get one of them.

So i think improving on that would improve your sales and give us a little more value. So a win win in my book.

My biggest gripe with weekend Showdown Events is the huge amount of solo points that are locked behind the last milestone in the faction contest, which even some of the top 100 factions cannot unlock. Either the final faction milestone needs to be adjusted or the solo points need to be re-allocated to somewhere else so that we can hit the top “free” solo milestone without having the need to depend on our faction.

My second issue is that the damage based tasks should be made a tad bit easier to grind. Sometimes we have to use sub-par superstars and grind for hours to complete the said tasks. This is quite discouraging to engage with the game during SD events.

So I have been away from the game over the past few years and just came back about 2 months ago. I do find the many changes the game has gotten better however I still find some things and have noticed some things that aren’t well balanced. First, showdown loot to showdown prize wall comparison is way off, there is very little value in what to buy, shards should be a much larger amount for what the purchase price is. Have props available to buy, also have showdown loot from special events to be carried over month to month. Then that brings up event prize wall currency in general, that should not go away when the event ends, that should be extended as well so we can save up and get the high end loot that most free to play players normally can’t get. Would also like to see talent up events to just be a month long thing, as players we enjoy upgrading our superstars but sucks that at a point we must stop because we are losing prize points for our upgrades. This slows our roster growth and use of superstars. Lastly I think it would be great that all players get a free gift of coins for poor pull like 10 or 11 coins so everyone has a chance to try for a featured character and it’s also a good way to show some appreciation to the players. Lastly overall I think the game is rowing in a positive direction and your customer support team has been great as well! Cheers!

need to work on weekend prizewall. Often seems to be for big spenders. If I reach gold chest in solos event, I should be able to get something other than coins and bots. Offer shards for older characters or old plates at a low value. Keep new rare people/plate at the higher prices. Thought event overall was good and enjoyable.
