Hi , so here it goes ,

When we talk about Get the tables competition - D von or Bubba ray , both the contest links were really challenging , like I had British bulldog luckily today , and to compete more, I had to increase and evolve it's talent to reach more milestones . But one negative thing was a lot of progress depends how much I spend in in game purchases , hence I can evolve further in game . Secondly , to get Bubba ray or dvon I need to have 22500 around points which are quite not possible to achieve in current scenarios without paying . I have been an active part of WWE champions since 6 years now , my only criticism is lot of progress is money oriented , needs to be more play oriented , the more you play the more you progress , but somehow after one point , non payment users get stuck.

The Tour was decent enough so long as you have either Version of Bulldog. The Showdown itself gives very little by way of rewards versus effort. There's zero way to get enough of the contest points to get anything of real substance of the prize wall without spending at the very least Three hundred dollars U.S.

    Not cool.

I wouldn't mind if it were Fifty or a Hundred to secure the new Bubba, on top of having to grind like crazy. Which by the way you can still only grind so much due to the continued asinine requirement of "Energy" cans as a ticket to compete in each match. Also tag links are all but useless 9 out of 10 instances since the requirement changes were implemented. My Acolytes feel so useless to me. I hate it.

I know I say it a lot but remove energy from showdown. I'm sure plenty is made off the store without needing to sell energy.

Okay, so I can't get to 1.8m. It seems like you need every single CSS, INCLUDING Bubba, to get there. I've been able to get every single solitary non-1.8m point available. I'm top 500 in the game in both Showdown contest points and overall contest points. I still need 3 million points to get to the last non-bonus milestone. I don't remember the last day of tours ever being worth that much.

Did y'all seriously bungle the scoring of this event AGAIN? I also wouldn't have to make this post if the blogs weren't so sparse in information now either, by the way.

Showdown is broken. Here is why. You ask us to use guys like Edge Memrock Dudleys when most dont have the new ones and 99% what you is 6 silver defenses. How do you fix that? Easy. New task win 30 defensive showdowns w 5 star or lower defense. This would encourage people to set lineups the css can maybe beat.

2nd. Energy at 16 I can't stand energy. It f OJ rcesls us to be stuck all weekend to n.v ake sure we get our faction minimums. We loose our weekends now. Simple fix you get 100 SD tokens a weekend. Can use them all immediately or on Su bv day. Then sell more tokens well tickets every player can do 100 free showdown maybe sell a few for SD coins.

Third. The 25 shard and 100 shard bags. The rarity of an actual poster is way soooooooo low. Maybe every other year not missing an event will I pull a poster I n.v stead of shards. Maybe do a system each bag counts to a counter once hit 100 your odds increase drast in cally. Like 25 to 50% chance until you pull a new weekend poster. Once you hit 100 can turn a token in on shop and your odds shoot way up. Why pay to play get more shard bags this would increase how often they get a new poster rewarding them a bit more.

The loot. If something in a common level that item should be equal odds as every other common etc. No weighting the loot. All commons have the EXACT same odds. All uncommon EXAct same odds.

Mega pulls. If someone g ok es in for a new poster once they do 10 mega pulls if they do not get the new poster automatically should get it. They just spent over 1000 usd. Should be a max

The CSS are a pain in the butt as usual. I am sitting w 9 plus million roster and 1.8 million looks highly unlikely.

I also suggested will suggest again. Every single weekend poster should get a trial. We can use them as if they are our own. Test drive the newest see how awesome they are. I know my mega pulls would increase. Since I can not test really no urge to pull.

The weekend event I give a D plus. Change up the scoring where winning w lower defenses score points this goes way up.

Normally I would wait till a contest has ended to give my opinion but this time no point because I already see how the rest of the weekend will go so here goes my opinion.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret right now players don't hate Showdown contest they hate putting in all this effort and getting rewarded with peanuts. When you'll come up with these Showdown contest it literally only benefits premium players. Think about it you have an exclusive premium Showdown where milestone rewards are absolutely insane and leave your average player out of. That player receives a ton of medallions to get a great plate and your average player has to grind their entire weekend to walk away with an escape artist plate. You're not making the rewards worth the grind. I'm sorry did premium players need their 8th titan plate? You act like it's only a handful of plates in this game and they all have to be pay walled to even get 1 great 1. You have a plate shop that changes every 10 months which is almost a full year for average players to spend 10 coins and get a great 1. Does your average player not deserve something great for spending their weekends grinding for hours on your game?

Now I want to talk about Showdown so premium players just need to have a certain superstar with them to get massive points meanwhile the average player has to do X amount of damage X amount of times with a certain superstar. This is what I mean make doing something like that worth it to put in this much work. To clear both the Edge and old Dudley objective that's do 40,500,000 damage at some point against a barrage of 6 star bronze and 6 star silver. Like I said make me want to put in that much effort. If a titan plate was even attainable for putting in the work you'd have players doing it instead or making separate post about how much they don't like Showdown.

I want you to know if a player got every single "free" milestone in both Showdown and the contest itself plus let's say they had the showboat Bulldog to clear the tour they will be walking away with 2,470 medallions so basically someone can get them an escape artist plate and a few other things. Like I said twice now make the grind worth something. I'm sorry an escape artist, a blue bomber, 2 words for ya, etc isn't worth the grind to players. Granted I don't know what tomorrow's tour is because it's cryptic as hell with description being put your mama through a table which I'm guessing is use either of the 2 old Dudley superstars for the tour but I guarantee you by the end they still will be nowhere near 5,000 medallions to get the titan plate.

Do you know why all players love feud? It's because an average player can get basically the same rewards as a premium player. Now a premium player can get the rewards faster because they have the superstars to get all the line bonuses or purchase all the step upgrades but it's okay. The average player might have to grind and play the game way more but the rewards are worth it. The way you have Showdown contest setup is someone can pull the weekend superstar do the premium tour day 1 and boom that's really all they need and they're done for the weekend. They don't even have to do the tours if they don't want to nor the 2 days of peasants Showdown because they have enough just from that 1 thing to get a great plate and a ton of other stuff from the prizewall not even counting the absurd rewards in milestones.

So in conclusion you need to get these plates off these pedestals that a player can only reach by cash. The 10 month switching plate store needs to change if you're going to keep constantly doing this. Give players a way to earn something great by putting in the effort and not just throwing money towards you. Trust me you'll still get plenty of money players still want that new superstar and those premium Showdown rewards but you have a ton of other players in this game besides premium players. REMEMBER THAT!

  • it was nice to be able to get the old versions with new moves Dudley boys. They were achievable for free to play players that don’t have the specific superstars. Everything else like the gear was too expensive and I knew I would never have a chance at them. The tours were not beatable past the hard setting so getting those finished with the old Dudley boys even at 6 star would be a challenge. Prizewall for the showdown was way too high for anything above 2000. No way free to play can achieve those. The escape artist plate would never be used so a different plate that people would actually use would be better. Enjoyed getting more evo tokens for the mlc through achievements from showdown and tours. Overall glad I got the old versions of the Dudley boys off the prizewall.

copy paste event , like always this needs to change so we can get the gold chest , most factions cant hit the requirments there needs to be leauge base contest and not one contest fits all the rewards are bland coins are weak considering we had 2 back to back talent ups and third on monday there should be a bit more coin avaiable

I find the rewards lackluster and find the grind not worth it

  • Webb73

I liked the contest mainly because the Dudleys are awesome. Lucky I had the contest characters to do the tours but it was very challenging to get the milestones for the rewards. The showdown very difficult to hit milestones. I worked for an hour to be able to hit 1 milestone but overall the contest was fun and interesting. Maybe next time make the milestones just a touch easier to hit.

When I saw this event in game I got excited. Titan plate at only 5k Prize Wall Medallions, its a plate anyone would take again as it is so versatile. I thought that should be pretty accessible if you maximize the F2P areas of the contest. In my view it's a premium plate but not one that should be pay-walled since it was on the plate picker wall for so long (a new refresh there could be good BTW).

Personally I sit at 3k prize wall medallions with a chunk of possible remaining being top 10 faction locked. Having this contest designed for F2P players to be locked out of Titan Plate specifically unless in a top 10 is a rich get richer scenario.

In general SD events continue to seem to be not worth the effort you require for the rewards you give. Personally I have been on cruise control for SD events lately, with what I thought should be obtainable for my 7 million roster Titan Plate I figured I would maximize my participation. Well that seems like a wasted effort.

In the past if you highly participated in a SD event you got or were darn close to getting the character. That is no longer the case, and I will always say ts one of the aspects that hooked me back into the game after an extended break was being able to obtain through effort one of the month weekend releases. The current trend in game is the SD character is the log in bags a year after they release for that month. with that being the case these cards do not need to be as "paid protected" again in my opinion.

Overall you excited me for SD for once in a long time with what I thought was a solid but effort requiring prize. This contest and my expectations have left me unsatisfied with my weekend in the game.

I could likely spend $20 and would get what I wanted out of the weekend but that just encourages these style events and just shy point methods.

    Achieved Milestones:

    • Solo - Maxed no bonuses achieved
    • Faction - Maxed
    • SD Event - will finish at around 1.5 million points missing MEM, Scott, Umaga, BBB, and new Dudley as many F2P I expect.
  • Showdown Showcase I liked that the first slot offense was open. I didn't have Scott,MemRock ,Umaga ,RVD, SB Bubba Ray,or BamBam but everything else I was able to get all free Milestones in Showdown Showcase.

Limited time tour was fair but challenging.

Prize wall was ok. It has a titan, cheapshot plates for low medallions that can be useful.

Overall good Showdown. I glad we got new Buba Ray great new character.

    1. Prize Wall needs to be rethinked in all aspects. It's too expensive, the rewards in general are not worth the price, shards from previous/older characters offered in super low numbers, PW medallions distribution is bad, offers in store with them are not attractive at all. It should have been something players would look for and aim for a "good" reward but right now it's something to simply ignore and skip.
    2. The Showdown competition is also another are that's not very attractive. No matter how much you're willing to grind, if you don't have some super rare CSS you'll not be able to max the supposed "free" portion of the contest. As a player i want to play, but it's easy for me to simply quit when i reach a point as it's too obvious that i won't be able to get to the end, even if i use promoters, or when the next reward is not worth it

I'm bringing those 2 points as they were the highlights, if we can call it that, of the weekend. And as a veteran player, those two aspects are killing my desire to actually play this type of event, and they used to be good, but for the past few months it has changed for worse. To this day i still think the Rick Steiner event was the closeset from being "perfect".

To mention the other parts of the weekend: not great, not bad. Shard loot is a good idea and i think is a positive aspect, requirements in general have been good, faction event gets interesting when we can grind, solo has been the standard so nothing to add if not for the obnoxious amount it takes to max.

I think showdown has potential to be the best contest if it gets looked more from a player's perspective and a little less from a corporative view, it's a game mode that the concept is fun but some things are hurting it a lot.

    Tours were fine

    Showdown was fine

Faction competition is getting annoying with the break a certain gem for 45 damage. Playing 30 matches with the same character in long grind matches just isn't fun but you do it for your Faction.

Prizewall has just become a weekly disappointment. I hit milestone 20 of 25 and have about 4755 medallions. Can't get either of the 100 shards of roman of d von. Can't get the titan plate unless my Faction finishes in top 20. You used to be able to unlock the 1600 shard people within a few months through prizewalls but not anymore. It's just become a thing for people who spend hundreds. I'm not expecting enough to get the top end stuff but getting something useful would be nice.

I liked the event, I suggest that more fragments of the superstrs be delivered because it becomes somewhat boring to see that they are received drop by drop, although the event is good in general, I suggest modifying the format so that it does not become repetitive and be more fluid and more eager to play when you see new ways to score points, win prizes, etc. In general, I like the events they hold, this one is not bad, it has things to improve. Thank you

These SD events are such a bore. I'm glad they come around because it gives me a reason to limit my time on this game.

Only positive out of the faction event was getting points for breaking traps. Those who chose not to spend can at least help out. It also lets you know who actually tries in your faction.

Let's talk about the challenge tour.

Normal mode you need either Striker RVD or Umaga to get the bonus. Since RA was needed and both RA Cena and RA Undertaker were recently updated, you could not let us use them for the bonus rewards? Allot of us invested in them during the anniversary event. OK I will miss out on silver tokens.

Hard mode you can use any KO. But wait! You can't use the legend KO for the bonus. You know the one that we all just recently invested in, during the last MLC. OK I will miss out on MORE silver tokens.

The prize wall is becoming more and more depressing at this point.

Once again you put the titan plate on the prize wall but there is a catch. You either need to have the majority of the CSS to get enough medallions to buy it or you have to spend. Since the titan plate has been off the plate picker store for quite some time now, is this the only way we will be able to obtain it?

If you are going to make the titan plate harder to get or stop offering the other plates like the drip plate, can you tell the CC to stop using them on the official wwe champions streams? It's quite depressing, especially when they review a new poster with hard to obtain plates. I would imagine you would want to promote plates that the majority of the player base can get, but I might be wrong.

15 KO striker shards for 1,490 medallions, 25 Chelsea shards for 2,660 medallions or 60 striker RVD shards for 4,840 medallions? I'm not even going to mention the cost of Legend Roman and New D Von shards. For someone like me, it's not even worth spending my medallions on these shards.

Hopefully this feedback is helpful. I don't even know if these get read by Scopely employees, but I can only hope. Side note: Scopely, you need to really read through these forum posts carefully. You have people in here that just copy and paste what others type just to be a part of a giveaway. Really weird. Take care.

A few months ago showdown was my favorite event, but it changed totally. First of all, even with a 6 million+ roster, I had none of the required characters for the points like Steiner, Dudley or MEM Rock. So no chance to get to the higher points. Second it's hard just to play against 6SS opponents, so I just used one strong character for all the matches, but I like playing with different ones. But with the 6 less starting points, most characters are useless. This leads to third, it's a showdown event, but you need a strong faction with a lot of trap gem breaking to max. So it's also a faction event, if this is intended, it should be said. By the way, tours were fair as I had the needed characters. To rate the event, I'm with 3 or 4 out of 10.

showdown has became the worst weekend event. Every time you have to win with rare CSS just to get any points and the rewards are not worth the grind.

Feedback for Dudley Death Drop Showdown

    • Buh Buh was obviously making his way since we got D-Von, nice to get him as a Trial character as well so was fun playing with his character. Although not sure why the trial tours changed where it seemed like it went down-graded, not like it made any difference but thought that was interesting.
    • The showdown was ok, where it felt like trying to find the ideal character to break traps so I can contribute to faction points was quite a chore. I'm grateful to have a faction that shares knowledge so we're able to work together as a collective unit to get ourselves in the top 10. I just so happen to be one of the lucky ones to get the new skill plate too!
    • I don't feel like I hated the SD this time as I was able to find the needed SD team to place myself enough to get the required free milestones along with some bonuses.
    • Solo tours were not heavily restricted so that was good.
    • Prize wall is again a disappointment where there were barely anything useful I could get, other than 25 Chelsea Green shards.
    • Basic and Premium bags used to include some other rare character shards. These being removed is disappointing.

Other than being the lucky few to get the new skill plate from the faction rewards I didn't think there was anything special with this SD event.

  • Phenom_Black01
    Phenom_Black01 Member ✭✭✭

Event is as average as all the other copy-paste showdowns before it. Prizewall was good to be able to get a Titan plate, but the shard offers sucked. 25 Chelsea shards? Yay?

Grinding points by breaking gems of a certain type is tedious. Even more tedious is the fact it's locked behind energy.

  • Mule57

One of the recent changes that I really like about showdown is being able to grind out points for faction by using a specific gem. That being said, I would always like to see 2 options. Not just one like this past weekend were the only option was a trap. There were a number of people in my faction that didn't have a hard-hitting one. So basically you're going in to lose almost on your first or second turn without even being able to generate any traps. I think there should always be 2 options. And this especially would be better for factions. Pretty much outside the top fifteen or twenty where a lot of people don't have the hard hitting people required for only one type of specific gem.

I wasn't a fan of the prize wall this time around. I would like to see lesser amounts of shards With more variety of people that you can work on over the months to try to recruit.

I thought the requirements in the tours this weekend was pretty good. I was able to work my way through and get all of the rewards. Having the steiner brothers in there was nice because I was able to recruit one of them from those bags from a couple months ago.

I was not able to acquire the skill plate even though we finished in the top ten, but at least I like this option because some of my faction did received the plate so having the top ten be able to at least have a chance gives us something to fight for and grind for during the show down matches.

Here's SD for the weekend, let's take a closer look at what and how it went at this event:

    Good:

    1. Not a bad new character (good training ability, necessary and rare era)
    2. A very interesting new die (it will be very suitable for a large number of characters, some of them are very common).
    3. Acceptable and simple roads (tours do not require very rare characters, except for the challenge tour, but it does not carry a special load in completing a solo event)
    4. .A very simple execution of a faction event (to complete the event, it was possible to receive points both from rounds and from the SD event, as well as for the usual receipt of shards of a new character and coins of a new event).

    Bad:

    1. Disgusting rewards for a factional event (legendary random belts even from the wrong era that is now required by the event, for a place in a factional event there is again a small number of event coins (my clan only got 500 pieces), legendary belts for 40-45th place in the event? Maybe use them at least as rewards for a faction event?)
    2. Almost impossible to raise required characters (I very rarely see those characters that were in the requirements, I don’t think there are many players with those).
    3. A disgusting wall of prizes (yes, there are excellent plate, excellent shards for some characters, but an ordinary player actually cannot get them, only a titan plate and a pain break, that’s all, you can’t get anything else.I’m a person who didn’t spend a lot of money on this event (30-40 bucks, for me that’s a lot of money, in fact I couldn’t even get Roman shards. We need to somehow lower the donation bar).
    4. Donation coins are disgusting (from there you can only get characters from 3 or 2 years ago and shards of newer characters. Having opened 3 or 4 packs of 7 pieces, I received virtually nothing, but maybe if I had spent $100 I would have gotten something , but for me this is not an option).
    5. Bad stability of SD mode (A large number of errors, crashes and freezes in SD mode. As for me, it became even worse than before. My clanmates had crashes or freezes in every 2 matches; I had them in every 3-5.)

Let's summarize: the event turned out to be very expensive in terms of cash injections (although in my case they were in vain; as a result, I received absolutely nothing useful), the donation bar is growing higher and higher with each event this month. It’s great that they added such a useful die and a good character, but again it’s not possible to get them. The SD mode itself worked simply terribly, it’s not clear why it’s even connected that its performance only got worse. I give this event 3/10 for the poor stability of the SD mode and the high donation bar.

  • This week's competition was very good But we want to increase the opportunity to obtain new player shards

copy paste showdown from last and one before that it gets old , the fact you need your faction complete these tasks on limited energy etc a bit much , i relay think the solo points should be removed from faction contest let average players have the gold chest but other then that showdown not a big fan of it , even the faction quest for this dose not get done due to resticions to the every week , idk i can live with out this event atm , unless you guys come up a blanced mode to it or remove energy or give us like 1000 match energy free then extra on top to be bought something like this would work you please the players that want to grind and for the rest that want better rewards then grind with energy

Over the last several weeks, I have noticed a radical decline in the enjoyment in the showdown competitions. It has become increasingly difficult to max it out if you do not have certain characters. While I like the options of using various gems or a character that have many remakes to get points, it makes it impossible to max out. In fact, just simply winning matches no longer gets you enough points to even come close to reaching a new milestone in the contest. Please revert to the previous standards. It was enjoyable and not too challenging to max out the event. You guys seem to forget that it is more enjoyable for the people in this community if they are actually able and have a viable chance to max out events.

I like the SD event on the weekend, as long as it isn't there during the week or it becomes repetitive and boring.

I would increase the number of bonuses, especially by repeating the number of encounters to be had with various characters, even some for everyone, at least you have the possibility of reaching the step with the points.

I would change the meeting goals with bags with fragments of the newly released character or the one from the week before at least it makes you more interested in doing the tours as soon as they come out

Contest was ok. The requirements for showdown sucked bunch characters, I know my faction mates and myself didn't have so could only progress so far. Feels pay too win too much anymore, no matter how much you grind.

The tour was ok, along as you had bulldog, it was fine but sd was a bit more stressful this time around, the points were much and to even touch the gold milestone you needed alot of premium css, the thing I absolutely hate about sd is that stupid energy, I wish it were gone, I don't know why you simply can't let players actually grind out, it used to be what made sd fun besides, once you buy some wrestlers there in the shop, it practically becomes useless anyway

I also dislike those 250 point per trickster score, it looks like you can grind out the sd with that but it simply doesn't work because

1.) Limited sd energy, making that basically useless

2.) The points are very small and because of energy, you can grind all day and still get like only 100k points max which can barely get you another milestone after bronze or silver

People weren't complaining about too much sd because they don't like it its because it's tedium and the rewards don't equal the effort with ass requirements for majority of points

Since the beginning of the new year the rewards and game play have fell short. Less on events and rewards makes me less interested in playing as much.
