Bodacious Flash Feuds Feedback

This flash feud had some good things like the tours and even the PW. Had some this thatcsn be taken in a positive manner like the new unified contest, but what was horrendous this time was the points you can get from feuding. This time it was worthless to keep feuding after you get your CSS done, cause to even get one milestone only feuding you were required to play all the feud time. This system is not the worst, the scoring system is the worst. If you take even half the points from the old system it may be better from the player perspective to get some milestones from playing and not rely only in the css, thst would cost frustration in the community

You can't base a flash feud in dollars by requiring a brand new characters that will demolish all the ones that came before it. By the time most of us actually get the characters they are already out of date.
Please stop with the greed by forcing us people to spend hundreds of dollars to be able to compete.
The milestones make it pointless to really go hard and invest time in a contest that doesn't yield a return.

Dear WWE Champions Community,
In the dimly lit corners of our beloved game, shadows lurk. Recent alterations to our beloved Flash Fueds have left us questioning the motives behind this change. The absence of an official announcement or explanation reeks of clandestine dealings. It's time to shed light on the "WHY" of this.
We ALL are humans,we ALL are capable of making mistakes- whether that happens with math, communication, or finalizing events.
Change will ALWAYS be necessary! However,it's not the change that has this community wanting to raid the offices with tiki torches and pitchforks. Rather, it's the lack of communication with the explanation of the WHY of all this.
An untested "revamp" of any event should only be rolled out if all of the bugs are "fixed," and the math for scoring makes sense. My biggest issue with this "change" was that it was done on a Thursday night blog read before the Friday start. No communication in the community stating that change to a beloved event is coming. The content creator was getting pulled in every direction, trying to manage messages within the community that fears change and getting "real time" messages with "explanations" from whom im guessing ,a game dev.
If you want to make this type of announcement on a blog read,i feel there should be a game dev, sitting in the live blog read explaining the change to the community. We only get the WHAT,WHEN,WHERE,HOW-but never the WHY. Having a content creator with no inside information as a heat shield is a bit cowardly, right? Having someone that implemented these changes and how they work would be a huge boost for the community morale.
Did i score what i usually do in Fueds? No. Did i have all the necessary CSS to max my score? No am i totally against this change? No. It just needs better execution. I feel that the bonus tour from last night is all the proof we need that these "changes" arent perfect, and tested from beginning to end. Again though, CHANGE is ALWAYS necessary.
We are passionate about WWE Champions, but our trust can not be taken for granted. The veils of secrecy only deepen the chasm between developers and players. We deserve transparency, not smoke and mirrors.
Let's come together and demand accountability. Let's peel back the layers of ambiguity and ensure that WWE Champions operates in the light, not the shadows.

- New feud scoring methods reduces promoters effectiveness. The boost they give now is not worth the waste of time to grind and collect them all (for those who don't have them yet) or to even evolve them.
- Superstar competion was terribly balanced. I don't hate the idea of mixing warscore and CSS rewards into one event but the way it was done was awful. And this is a feedback of someone that had a lot of CSS, i was still in the middle of nothing despite all the characters i had.
- Keeping players short on solo points and having to correct it later in the event is something that needs to stop. Considering pretty much every event structure is a copy from a previous one, you'd think this issue would have been fixed.

Hello
This event was in its structure (tours, contest, etc.) very standard. I regret the fact that the amount of shards available for Becky was so low.
Now let's talk about the major changes on the warscore competitions and on the battleground contest (previously superstar competition).
I will say that I like the idea but not the execution.
The warscore is 4 separate events but easily to reach in 1 or 2 feud. I really like that: you have to play but you can play for like 20 minutes and it's done.
For the battlegrounds contest, like the old superstar contest you need to have the css but in the new system you could also grind via warscore. However, with the nerf on warscore points this was impossible (but congrats to those who max). In my case I had all css except new Becky so 260 mil from css + 20 mil from the bonus warscore meaning I needed 120 mil to max.
With the new system I won between 150 and 200k per win meaning I needed between 600 to 800 wins, so at 2 min per wins we're talking more than 20 hours. This is not possible.
Now my suggestion for the next flash feud is simply to put something like 1 warscore point equals 5 points for the battlegrounds contest.

i don’t like the new point system, i understand that this is probably the new standard for the 6ss meta but the fact that you screw up giving us not enough point made me very frustrated. Hopefully the new tour gave me enough point to advance 5 milestones. Hope that you find a new way to make it more fair between the people that grind vs the people that have the css.

Positives
I loved the solo portion as it wasn't very restrictive to those with lower rosters, and faction portion was a very welcome change and everyone with a little effort could get their 1% in without issue.
I also like the chest idea came back for shards because I was able to get Rachel that way recently, and I welcome it going forward.
Negatives
For the bad... I don't know what more i can add that hasn't been said in 1l pages of forum feedback thus far, but I too wanted to add some thoughts.
The way the scale of the warscore was completely botched should be changed immediately before the next faction feud and should NEVER be like this again. How only ~30 people were able to max should show you how horribly this was set up, and it genuinely made me upset that even with all of my 21k feud promoters and $5 packs I bought each weekend to have full feud steps that I couldn't have maxed unless I played each and every flash feud from start to finish.
It actively discouraged me from spending and playing to the point where by flash feud 3 l did 4 rounds of feuding to get the 4/4 CSS wins (where I had them) and then stopped playing altogether.
I didn't even bother streaming a portion of flash feud 4 because I simply didn't want to play, which isn't something that's come out of my mouth in the past regarding feuds ever.

The idea of combining the CSS and Warscore competitions was not bad to begin with… What was absolutely atrocious was the scaling and the change in the brawl scores.
For those of us who invest in the weekend packs in order to have the full chest perks on Flash Feuds, each brawl usually ended up with a score of around 5,5mil points… Even without ANY CSS, it would take an individual around 80 brawls to max the 400mil event…
So, for a person who can moderately grind and have a certain respectable amount of CSS for the Feuds, it wouldn’t be difficult to be persuaded to grind in order to max…
In conclusion, the idea was decent but the execution was not up to par… In fact, this weekend should be the most difficult for your development team in terms of complaints.
So, keep the idea, bring back the previous brawl scoring system and then we can see how easy it is to hit 400mil to max the combined event.

I like the rewards this time. Scopely actually did something right this time.

A low score to max each mini feud is a good idea, prevents grinding forever. I liked that part. Made it easier for everyone to contribute
Everything else, however, is screwed up beyond all reason. Milestones are impossible to achieve since most people don't have all CSS, and even if you did... You still can't max.
Between this and the 'high roller' loot in the Bray event, it's not a good look.

Thank you for providing feed back on your intentions on the Flash Feud. It makes sense your intention on the design, but as you stated, it was not implemented properly. In the case of the CSS score vs the War Score, it was weighted way too heavily in favor of the CSS, and not as a way to make up for war score.
Recommendation to address CSS Score:
If you want to continue to combine the CSS Score and War Score, you have to find a way to normalize the CSS score across all users.
If you can identify a Reasonable CSS Score, then allow most users to achieve that score. How would one do that?
Most feuds have a variation of a single rare/new character, followed by 2-3 CSS that are rare, along with the "Any version" character, which tends to net fewer points
Set the Max Score at 50 million (or some what similar score). The CSS can be used in any order and number in order to achieve 50 million. Cannot exceed (unless you want the New Character for extra points - like can get 60 Million with the New Character instead of 50 million, but not necessary)
25 Million per Match with the New Character. 2 Matches with characters and you have hit the CSS score.
10 Million per match with the Rarer characters in the CSS - A total of 5 match with any of the 2-3 characters will hit the Max.
5 Million per "Any Version" of a character - 10 matches total to hit the Max score using just the "Any" character.
Score can be hit by multiple methods, such as 3 matches with any of the rare CSS and 4 matches with "Any" version. 4 Matches with Rare CSS and 2 Matches with "Any" Version.
Having more CSS allows users to finish the Max score, and transition to their typical /preferred feud line up quicker. Users with more CSS are already getting greater Feud Score Multipliers based on line entries, so they already have additional benefits.
This allows all users to have a benefit/use of CSS scores to buff their War Score, but it allows all/most users the ability to achieve that score/benefit.

Kudos for owning up to feud issues. Compensation was good between in game message and the open tour on Sunday.

Unfortunately I feel this weekends feud was an epic failure on a whole new level. This seemed to be not thought out very well for the entire community in general.
I did like the new faction portion. It was attainable by any member of most factions with a little work depending on roster size.
The blending of the CSS characters & the war score in my opinion was a flop. I would say I had about half or a little less of CSS’s and put a fair amount of time into all 4 flash feuds and I felt that all the good milestones were totally out of reach & I have a 6mill roster which I know in the grand scheme of things isn’t all that impressive I totally felt of everyone else with much lower rosters who didn’t have many of the CSS’s at all. All the grinding they could do would amount to a whole lot of work for very little payout.
Hopefully you all can maybe find a happy medium & meet somewhere in the middle to balance things out again.
Feuds have always been my favourite event in champions & unfortunately this weekend was a disaster & I barely had interest in trying to compete.

I wouldn't even care about the fact that your scoring system developed Peyronie's Disease if it weren't for the fact that your matchmaking for both this and showdowns is still absolute ratshite. Worry about HOW we get plunked into battles instead of what we're supposed to do in them.

This was the worst event of the MLC by far. The superstar contest now combined with warscore was a good concept in theory as a way to make up for not having certain css but it was terribly unbalanced. The sheer amount of grinding you have to do with the reduced points in the feud was unreasonable. The amount required to max was too high in comparison to the points awarded. Something really went wrong here & needs to be adjusted moving forward. The fact that only 28 people were able to max it says a lot. Secondly, the lowered shard counts has become disturbing to me. It’s been constantly lowered for the last few months & the lowest it’s been for a flash feud with only 1300 shards available for free. The top faction lb reward was also lowered by 50 shards. I understand you’re a company & exist to make money but when I see a character is so out of reach without obscene amounts of spending, I will not spend. I spent $0 this weekend & there was really no incentive to do so. It wasn’t even close. If you guys raised the shard count available & had better offers that included more shards, I would have spent to recruit the new card. What happened to Sunday offers that included 100 shards? I’ve spent every flash feud as far as I can remember so for me not to spend this weekend tells you a lot. The greed has got to stop. If flash feud is trying to become like boss battle, I will no longer spend that weekend. A big problem was hiding 300 shards behind the final milestone. I can’t remember that being the case in previous flash feuds as I was able to recruit by not spending an arm & a leg. The shards should have been more spread out through the milestones & not a big chunk in the final milestone. The previous formats were fine for what it was. Now it’s become a huge money grab. Would you rather more people spend & are able to have their money go towards something or keep things so out of reach that only the top spenders will go for it?
One last thing, the rewards for the hours of grinding needs to change for flash feuds. Why is it you can earn a ton of solo points for regular feud by placing high (top 1-20) at least & then flash feud the amount of time you put into the game becomes less significant. I don’t understand that. The leaderboard for Warscore where the top 1 only gets the card needs to be changed. What about top 2-10. Did they not put in the same amount of time only to end up with just faction points? Why not include something to reward them for their time? More shards would make sense if the top 1 gets the card. When you leave empty handed after putting in the same amount of time, it can be pretty deflating. There’s also the issue of the top 1 using exploits to reach the top. I’m sure you’ve been made aware of the issue. It needs to stop immediately. Everyone should be on an even playing field & I thought we were after the time traveling exploit. Now we have a new exploit in a competitive game mode where people pay real money for steps to stay competitive. Doesn’t sound fair to me. Makes me want to quit thinking about it. The bottom line: I still feel that the game is fun to play & I’m a moderate spender but I do not like the direction the game is heading & I have no problem leaving the game if things consistently get worse which I feel it has been trending that way.

It's simple!
Better feud times!
Make warscore count for more in the solo contest!
That's it!
This was a D. Dud

This feud was so weird. On one hand, I like the fact that I only had to do 2 feuds per flash feud to max the faction portion of the event. But I don't think that moving the warscore event to the solo and upping the required score was the best idea. By requiring people to have CSS just to be able to get some rewards will really push people away from liking this event. This structure will only work for flash feuds with multiple CSS per flash but will have to change for a normal single feud. I did really like the tour that y'all put in on Sunday afternoon.

I think everyone here already said what needed to be said I just wanted to add:
- The idea of mixing the CSS contest with the Feud Points one is not a bad idea, just need to be implemented way better.
- I appreciate that for those of us not interested in the grindfest we could complete the minimal requirements for everything in a quick and easy manner. Time zones are not the kindest for most of the international players, so being able to get all the Faction Contest points needed in 30 minutes was very welcoming for our sleeping schedule.
- While the idea to give the newest character to the Top 1 player on the Faction Score leaderboard is great on paper to incentivize playing more than needed, in practice the only people who could even aim at it are the whales with outrageously overpowered characters and those able to fork cash for the Manager Pass monthly. For the rest of us is completely meaningless.

The only part I have feedback on is the new event structure. I think you got us most of if not all of the rewards we would have typically seen through make up efforts.
Instead of dwelling on what we had I want to give my suggestion on how to tweak the event.
I like the idea of combining the Warscore and CSS into one event. I think that you should enable players to max it easily with CSS or grind it out via warscore. My suggestion would be to also add more CSS to the mix. Also I would recommend for flash feuds to add the point multiplier for each feud to encourage participation in every feud.
How I would envision this change
Premium CSS - 10 Million Points (2 per feud) (80 Million across 4 feuds)
Rare CSS - 5 Million Points (3 per feud) (60 Million Across 4 Feuds)
F2P/ Any "Wrestler" CSS - 2 Million Points (5 per feud) (40 Million across 4 feuds)
Warscore - Each flash Feud first 2 Million is x10. Remaining Points count as 1. (80 million bonus across 4 feuds)
Max Milestone 200,000,000 but 120,000,000 is the free Milestone remaining are bonus. Also feel free to load LB with premium prizing.
I think the other thing I would add is to most players if they are not listed as bonus milestones it has become an expectation that it is a relatively achievable milestone.
One other side note. The new format for Faction points was underwhelming with how easy it was to max. Personally I think I did it in one feud in the male feuds and 2-3 in the female ones.

BODACIOUS FLASH FEUDS
Tours:
The css were fine, not terribly hard or overly restrictive
Shards: it seems like this entry was throttled down a bit which didnt entice me to chase or spend , moreso it just meant i did the faction components and quit
Feud: stable, fun perks, and interesting line bonuses
Milestones: i appreciate the attempt to add a grind aspect but stretch milestones were still very gated by css. Maybe allow the promoters to add score to the CSS bonus?
Feud loot boxes were oddly priced but still appreciated the chance to get additional CSS shards
war score felt imbalanced in the opposite direction, one brawl and done
It wasnt the worst event, and hopefully with some tweaks it could be a very solid change to the usual format
(PS please put the birthday blowout prizewall back up and i'll love you forever)

Hey WWE Champions community,
So, there's been some buzz about changes to Flash Fueds, and irs scoring. Let's break it down:
Positives: Change can spice things up, bring new strategies, and keep the game fresh. Plus, it's a chance for the devs to listen to our feedback and make adjustments that benefit everyone.
Negatives: Lack of communication leaves us feeling in the dark. We're a community that thrives on transparency and trust, and when that's missing, it can dampen the vibe.
Let's embrace change, but with clear communication. Together, we can level up WWE Champions for the better.
Cheers
