I Love Rock’n’Reigns Showdown Feedback

  • The contest is solid. The 80’s theme has been enjoyable. It’s different. Wish that we could have earned more shards. Also, I invested in wwechampions.com and although I received some solid rewards, I think the opportunity to acquire Roman was difficult.

  • I keep trying even though I know it won't be available ☺️

  • The contest itself proved to be overall enjoyable, as the showdown event proved to be relatively manageable even with a slightly weaker roster than the majority of the active player base of the game. However I think there are a few suggestions that could make future events of a similar nature less problematic for people with varying rosters:

1.) For the contest tours, I would suggest that it would be a worthwhile tactic to include at least one character per tour that the majority (if not all) of the player base would have access to, thus making the tour more manageable for all members of the community.

2.) For the showdown event, it might be best to not have to rely so heavily on points earning characters that some of us may not have the luxury of obtaining through regular play, or without spending. Placing more emphasis on board based tasks may be a better way of improving the experience.

3.) Balance the universal odds of pulling the showcase character from bags and/or boxes. The odds seem slightly off kilter as some players have had a larger run of success in obtaining the character, whereas others have had no luck at all. Changing the pull odds to a more universal percentage may alleviate some frustrations that some players felt.

The tours were good, with the rewards being worth trying to get. The css weren’t too restrictive. SD however, is another story. I miss being able to grind SD without having to worry about energy. With so many points needed, having to wait for energy doesn’t feel great. Having super rare css doesn’t help either. The prizewall is another issue. I spent, I got Roman, I hit the first bonus milestone in the SD contest and milestone 22 on the solo, and I still can’t get one of the good plates. Every prizewall lately has been like this. It feels bad to do all of that and not be able to get something worthwhile.

Positives- another great new character. I am really enjoying the theme this month with all the throwback looks. Showdown requirements only had minor restrictions which is good. Correcting the issue of legend wins not counting was resolved timely.

Negatives- the prizewall was pretty unreasonable unless you spent a significant amount of money. I’m also not a fan of “Premium” showdown on event launch. Let everyone play, even for minor rewards.

  • I love the retro feel and using newer superstars for for legends Era and others is a great idea with endless possibilities huge win in my opinion keep em coming over all good player with great red moves damage really love it

  • First of all the showdown is becoming more stable then before. I'll explain the details in different parts so you guys can have full overview of the current situations.

Milestones & Rewards :- First lets talk about milestones it is a bit of difficult to reach the max milestons ( Not talking about bonus milestons ) without certain premium superstars. Not everyone has every premium superstars those who have them are the p2p people not the f2p guys. If you take the last tour of this event which requires ( 123 Kid - The Underdog Hero, Snoop Dogg - Long Beach 93 & Shawn Michaels - Rocker ) you could also insert just one f2p character so that f2p guys can complete the tours and get the last milestones. And if i talk about rewards it's all good not to much but works for f2p guys. But so far many tours have become p2p. Also p2p rewards are way more great then f2p but still not complaining as long as we can complete the tours to at least max the events.

Difficulty :- As i said in my last part about the characters which is really difficult to gain for the f2p guys but the overall game difficulty is good.

Timing :- Timing of every event for everyone will not be suitable but it's good i'll not complain about the timing since i wake up at 5 AM regularly but i think for certain regions 5 AM is way too early.

Superstars :- Superstars card and character model is looking great day by day hats off to the designers.

Showdown :- Showdown contest is not really that great. But one thing is that the (Superstar Damage) thing is not everyones thing. It takes lot of matches to complete certain damage thing. I rather suggest that insted of damage make it 8-10+ matches so it will be achiveable for everyone who don't have that certain required characters really high. So, if you make it like 8-10+ matches it will be achiveable for everyone. Don't have to make 8-10+ matches makeit like 20 matches but still it will be achiveable.

This is all i wanna say. Thank you.

For me I loved the 80s theme , but some things I had an issue with:

Contest points not showing again but you did compensate for it

    Prize wall prices very expensive

    Things I did like:

    The tour was very fun

I did have some fun on the tour games

One thing I'm extremely grateful for was no horrible faction boss, what a waste of time

Let birthday bash be there for atleast 2-3 days please and atleast make 75% of the game f2p

  • I thought the event was okay. Not great, not horrible. I do wish the css requirements weren't cards that you won't use outside of that css. I know that isn't a problem for the whales who have everyone and plenty of extra resources to build them up. But for the less-haves, dumping tons of resources into 123 Kid just doesn't feel good. Wish we could get a little more balance there.

contest was a decent event. for the most part the final gold chest was achievable without spending as long as you got all the bonus pts in tours, had most of the css. and also maxed the faction event.

I would like to see the pts for sd coins be more then 1pt so there is a grind feature for those that want to max the sd event since most are always ending up 1 milestone short of doing so. over 100 matches to do so with limited energy, most just say the hell with it and stop trying.

The other plus was the quick response from the team for the legend era bonus not counting at the start.

  • "Your WWE game is truly fantastic! From the immersive gameplay to the stunning graphics, it's an adrenaline-pumping experience that keeps me coming back for more. The attention to detail in recreating iconic wrestlers and arenas is superb, making each match feel authentic and thrilling. Keep up the amazing work!"

Any Showdown is impossible to complete without spending. At it’s awful.

Really liked the Faction Event "Break Blue Gems" addition - I think many players have been feeling "Talent Up Fatigue" and this was a nice/fun change, would love for this to become a permanent, routine staple of Showdowns or Feuds.

Prize Wall costs continue to be a concern, but realize this may be the new normal - seems like you're hedging your bets on players spending more to get what they want, but seems equally appealing to just play less since everything will be out of reach for less than $100. I always perceived Showdowns and 1600 recruits to be the low-hanging fruit for the month...

  • New Roman is awesome but personally I am unable to done greatly because lack of required charecter and the required points for the gold milestone is far far away from player like us

  • Really a big finger to people have 5 percent chance to get only 2 chance in 24 hrs to get a new character. Then start a showdown only for that character and bookoo points only for one's who are lucky to get or buy him.

  • Personalmente me gusta mucho esta tematica ochentera y ojalá poder disfrutarla mejor con algún personaje bueno jeje. Pero ojalá que el evento esté bien y sea algo mejor para la gente que no puede meter tanto dinero en el juego 🙏

Having a good time with this one. I think the quest rewards should be better(more tokens for the limited prizes) so we can get the better rewards

Going through this event (at the moment it is almost over) I can notice the following advantages and disadvantages:

    Good:

    1. A strong new character (and the best thing is that many clan members lost him, of course, as usual, I’m the exception) But I’m glad that many players will have him, a good strengthening of factions).
    2. A simple clan event (great idea to make the goal of breaking stones of a certain color, and a lot of points were given in the tours).
    3. Good stability of the Show Down mode. (I didn’t have a single crash or freeze during the entire game).
    4. Relatively not bad donation pools (Many received good characters, and there were fewer free ones than last time).
    5. Simple opponents on the throat of the roads (most of the opponents are not rare characters who, in principle, are easy to defeat even with an unpumped character. Here I mean the road for 1-2-3 kid, in fact, I passed it with a 4sg character).
    6. Excellent strong new plate. (For many it will also fit in the second slot, I think many wanted to get it for themselves)

    Bad:

    1. Rare characters in solo roads. (Some of my clanmates, for example, did not have 1-2-3 kids.)
    2. Bad prize wall (In fact, if you don’t pour large sums into the game, you won’t get anything, the maximum amount is Heroic Titan’s Crest or wo Words For Ya’, the rest are coins and shards. I would like to see a prize wall more loyal to F2P players).
    3. The actual absence of the opportunity to get bonus lines with almost all the contest characters in Show down (Without a new character it is impossible to get 700k points, even if you have rare characters. I would like to see fewer such requirements).
    4. Too much activity for people who received a new character (And the road on the first day, and Show Down is separate for a day, and the road at the end of the event. I personally think that this is too much, one road would have been enough otherwise, in fact, players have nothing to do for the whole day if they don’t have new character. Cena could have released it earlier or not at the end of this event.)

Summing up, I can say that this is a very good event with a lot of shortcomings, but many clan members received a new Roman Reigns and I am very happy for them and this proves that the chance of new characters appearing relative to the previous event is higher and this cannot but rejoice. I give this event 8/10. I hope in the future the chance to get a new character will be the same or even better.

The positives with the event tours is that you are rewarded if you either get lucky from the bag for the weekend superstar or by spinning the loot which I totally understand.

The downside to a again as many have stated about the calculations in points to achieve the max “free milestone” being locked out.

Some may agree with me a lot most likely won’t but showdown and feud can become repetitive using same characters over and over. Instead of locking the energy to the player could each character be assigned an energy value so once they been used you have to wait x amount of time before using them again. This would then promote diversity in your rosters and utilise strategies against your opponents.

The new characters are awesome, but the event is the same as every other. Need to spend to max out the event when you should have the opportunity to max out events based on what you have if you have the character required. Stop making everything a money grab you already have plenty of players money.

  • I love the flashback theme this month. I don't have any suggestions to fix it but it seems that the showdowns are harder to max if you don't have every superstar for challenges. Plus the bonus for using superstars from a certain theme was like 90000 and we only get 250 for winning but them we can't get that many matches in. But with that said I still love the game and don't ever stop playing.

I did enjoy the Showdowns as the main task for an event because you only need to rely on yourself and not your Faction to earn points and the Contest bonus I could mostly get (other than Rock Around the Clock) with Superstars you could get for free.

The main negative with this contest (and this game in genral) is that you have to spend a lot of money to be able to max out all the contests and events. Obviously you have to make money but the main contest someone should be able to grind to max. I had no chance of getting this Roman so I can't comment on that but it would be nice to get some new Superstars that aren't already in the game.

  • I enjoyed this weekends event. To be fair I do like a showdown, gives a chance to strategise coins or notoriety on promoters.

The tours were standard to complete, and all the css made sense.

The one thing for me is the reward for prizewall. I hit the top free milestone, finished just outside top 100 in the showdown itself and hit last but one in that.

I ended up with just under 4000 prize wall coins. For the effort this took it doesn't feel worth it to me.

The extra milestone for spending on loot would have put me an extra 1000 coins, again this didn't represent good value to take a chance on loot.

  • The problems that I had with this contest were:

    1. The showdown was extremely difficult to get to the 1.8mil milestone. Without that milestone it was very difficult to get to the gold chest. The lack of bonus superstars made it difficult

    2. There were no shards of Roman to buy from the prizewall. If you did not spend and we're able to do everything else, the most you could get was 1200 shards, when normally it could be 1300 or 1400.

    3. I understand that Roman was a legend Powerhouse, but having to use legend Powerhouse for the first slot in order to get the bonus was extremely difficult. It is one of the weakest classes in the game.

My last note is about this month event. Why are we releasing legend era characters of modern wrestlers instead of releasing legends era wrestlers. The nostalgia factor of the game is one of the most important parts for wrestling fans

  • The showdown contest was decent, it is very difficult to max if even one bonus character is not in your roster. The number of shards in bags for the new Roman was decent compared to the past.

The look of the character is a little underwhelming, he looks rather over embellished. The gameplay was satisfying and he is decent to use. The loot pulls to try to get the character were very sub par. I spent over $100 myself and did not pull a single shard for him in my pulls. In fact I did not pull even a fuse for an existing character in the pulls.

Overall I would rate the event as a B-, with better loot pulls it would be higher rating.

Feedback for Rock and Reigns SD Contest

    • Another Roman but at least he's a Legends era so at least he can fill that gap. At 1600 shard recruit, hopefully I can recruit him later in the year.
    • I usually despise SD, considering how many we get mid-week it's just a boring format now unless... it's one that works in your favour.. so despite my hate I actually liked this one just because of the requirement of PH and you have MP perks that work in your favour so the choice for me was using PH KO that pretty much demolished all my opponent with ease...
    • Solo Tours CSS were decent so good with the requirements asked
    • An initial screw-up was noticed with Legends era points not being calculated so glad to see this was quickly resolved with additional points. This helped me cross certain milestone without having all the CSS so happy with that outcome.
    • The Faction scoring method just seems to be getting worse especially with the implementation of breaking certain gem color. I mean, so now we're supposed to decide if we use our certain amount of energy to focus on winning and benefitting our solo points or we sacrifice this so we help our faction and ensure we do our 1%.
    • Prizewall, just another snooze where you do the best you can but if you don't spend you just take what's there and move on and forget about those amazing plates unless you take your wallet out..

Overall just another SD event with nothing new. Was only enjoyable this time because the requirement makes my choice easier to run through SD.

  • terrible event, I didn't receive all the points for the competition... I wrote 4 messages to support, I have screenshots of all the points I made but they continue to ignore me. I also sent a calculation table I have screenshots of everything. result is that I missed 2 steps of the individual event. they continue to get worse
