"Free reward"

Sure, if you spent money in the past and have the few people in the game that actually give you defensive wins and you already have at least one of them at 6sb.

Sorry that I'm just seeing this but this is completely untrue. It's literally impossible to get most of the special characters that usually give bonus points without spending money. We don't even get enough shards for new characters anymore - even if you max an event. The only way to get them is either in loot or finish on top of the leader board. The problem with that is that unless you've spent money in the past, you can't compete with the top guys.

It's not so much about whether we get these prizes are not, just stop trying to lie to us and admit it's for the spenders.

Perfect example is the current contest, to get the Edge sweater you need Randy Orton AP (special character most of us probably don't have) just to get the tokens. Then on top of that, you'll need to spend money on loot coins to get to level 12 in the first 24 hours.

Sure, I can always buy that little case that probably has a 0.00000000001% chance of giving me the sweater.

I played that month, I only have 1214/2000 shards for him. Not sure why I didn't max at the solo contest that month but it could have been a lack of coins or tp, not having the special characters to earn bonus points in the tours, or maybe my faction at the time didn't max out all of the events.

The point is, Scopely makes it impossible to earn many of the great prizes unless you have earned these special characters in the past.

Here is my constructive feedback, stop limiting us to having earned a certain player. Allow us to use the best people on our roster period! It's impossible to get every single person and level up everyone unless you're spending money.

I was able to complete the entire tour but because I didn't get the Randy Orton, I miss out on this contest prize too
