Please stop the use of auto-open rewards from events.

Can you please get rid of the event rewards auto-opening? Every time there's an event with a chest reward it auto-opens and you never see what you win from it. So then you think you didn't receive anything because it doesn't show up in your inventory.


Just let us open the reward chests.

    100% support this suggestion. Given there is no indication as to what we actually received, a player would need to constantly update a database of some sort (spreadsheet?) of their inventory/shards/straps to track down what was received as a reward.

    It's been asked and short answer is not really. The workaround is to put in rewards than auto open to a bag but the team hasn't moved to implement this for all rewards and no plans to do so in the future.

    I'm not sure I really understand this answer. Auto-open, as far as I remember, wasn't originally implemented in the game. It was put in despite no one asking for it, and it's come with 0 positives and a lot of complaints. How could the dev team not be able to just take it back out?

    (Side note: Maybe problems like this would increase support for the concept of periodic Dev Team AMAs)

    Please get rid of auto open. The leaderboard rewards of the faction event that ended a few minutes ago gave out a chest which auto opened and no one really knows what he/she got...

    I would like to manually open my rewards and visually verify I got them and not use "faith" that I've received items I've grinded/paid for.

    Please get rid of auto open. As far as I remember, I was able to manually open rewards a long time ago ;)

    When you do so, please be clear that the issue is people want to see what they got and not that we want to go back to having to open each individual chest one by one. Because these other commenters seem to have forgotten that we did ask for auto opening and this is how they chose to implement it.
