What in the world was whoever made the new year faction contest thinking? You give a "free" Torrie but then make the faction event too difficult to win with her?

The whole design of this is wrong.

First, new players won't have any gold hall of fame tokens to level her with (and you didn't give any)

Second, you expect people to beat a 4sb Sherri with 3sb Torrie? Sherri's gem damage alone practically destroys Torrie without even getting a move off.

Third, you set it to any trickster, meaning either Torrie or Chyna. Free players have no chance of getting Chyna so it's only Torrie. It should have been any HOF woman since they're aren't that many.

If you want to do an event like this make it a solo event. Faction events should be able to be completed by everyone who is willing to put in the effort.

Have not spent any real $ on this event. But I have great people in our faction, so we maxed the 20 millions, by beating Sherri 800 times with a 3sb Torrie.

Like I said, very possible to do.

This will be my last comment in this matter, as you seem dead set on your beliefs, even when shown evidence you are mistaken.

Im not ignoring your question of total cost, but I showed you how to do your own math. 🙄

• If you just started, and had ZERO tokens from start, you would need to buy all the tokens in the prizewall = 16.000 medalions. Clearly a new player is not ment, to collect all the bonus rewards
• If you played the game during the last year, this would not be the case however. "Normal behavior" would have to pick up Gold HoF tokens, when available in prizewalls. And they HAVE been available sporadically. This makes the amount of of prizewall tokens needed variable.

Personally I bought tokens worth 2.200 to get there. Still have 2.625 leftover.

I also found enough HoF Tokens to work on X-Pac when I could. He is 6ss now, so the problem isnt with the prizewall from my point of view. If you worked on several others, you would be short.

We can agree, that recent events have been terribly paywalled, and felt really discouraging.

nice contest , not like the 10k at 300 , would like to have that reversed at least you feel like your getting somewhere , that lessen the match's to 150 if used 2 hofs

Plenty to do- Showdown plus tours and a faction grind event.

Plenty of medallions on offer.. free and via offers.

Prizewall was actually top notch

Plenty of HOF tokens resources and gears that were actually affordable.

Things for the not so spendy and things for the bigger players to fish for aswell.

Solid 10/10 event in my opinion please can we see more events like this

Week 1 of the HoF month is a 9/10 from me so far. (and we still have the feud to do).

• Contest tours were hard, but manageble.
• Ultimate HoF Straps as a reward for using contest superstars is a great motivation.
• Even Extreme Tour were doable with props, if you didnt have either of the 4 Striker HoFs that actually create Multiply gems. Managed to brute force it with Sgt. Slaugter at only 5sb.

We got rewarded for grinding. 🤗

This is a good balance of prizewall currency and cost. Also some attractive items up for grabs.

Ended up buying all Gold HoF Tokens, and still had 1.925 to spare.

Only reason this is 9 and not 10, is an uncertainty:

Will 3 Medalions give nothing? or would there be lesser options, than HoF Rey Mysterio at 4 Medalions?

Ultimate Straps / Gold Tokens / Skillplates / Grab bags ect?
