Climbing on the prize ladder is a bit harder than previous showdowns, or is it just me?

Christmas is supposed to be the time for giving............... so why is this game still so friggin stingy??????

Santa Hogan tokens are practically nonexistent. I get it, you want people to spend money buying tokens if you want to take him all the way up but how are we getting LESS tokens available for free than the July event? That's not right at all.

Prizewall is a joke. Prizewalls in general have been completely terrible ever since the Halloween event where the bags were too generous, so now you're determined to make us all suffer so nothing like that can ever happen again. I've been doing as much as I can every day and I'm only at 600. Mark Henry holiday gear costs 1000... why??? Who is using Mark Henry in this game in 2023?

Getting free posters of MLC characters is nice for anybody who missed a month, but other posters not being available with the upgrades seems kinda inconsistent. Is it really going to ruin the balance of the game if you give away an Acro R-Truth or Striker Randy Orton?

24-hour Showdowns blow. You expect us to do all the given tasks with no energy recharges? Waste of time getting to 3500+ and then we gotta start over from scratch on an Attitude Era Showdown. And then we get MORE mid-week Showdown next week because of this horrible 2 month MLC format, yippee.

And speaking of this awful 2-month MLC, where are the universal turnbuckles? Why do I not have enough turnbuckles to max my feud perks? I'm relatively far into the solo MLC, and my faction maxes the weekly event every week. Why do I have to waste emblems to buy them off the MLC prizewall when this has never been an issue before?

Still thinking about that in-game message sent over Thanksgiving, apologizing to players for poor experiences in events. Scopely didn't mean any of it, they were lying through their teeth. This is the new norm for the game, and things are only going to get worse from here.

Seems to me the only way to get further in the game is by purchases. unfortunate. This game doesn't seem to honor fair play.

I guess I won’t be upgrading my Santa Hogan since the availability of his evolve tokens that only come out twice a year is pretty much nonexistent.

Thanks for the 6 Star silver game play of Santa Hogan. If sure the 3 people that have him at 6 star Silver really needed to see his game play before the evolved him.

Echoing what others have said. No one is saying to give us thousands of Santa Hogan tokens for free. But I can spend $680 on some of the packs on the portal for 800 tokens, which is about 1/6th what I need to evolve him. If you're saying it's $4000 to upgrade from 5SS to 5SG, you guys are delusional.

Rest of the event has felt really meh. Extreme Rules matches absolutely suck ass, tours have been okay but needing certain characters for each Hell node bonus is a crap decision.

So unless something amazing happens later today I have to say it's been so underwhelming. Really poor free characters if you've been playing the game for any amount of time. A great prizewall ruined by a trickle of currency for it. Speaking of a trickle that's a great way to sum up the availability of Hogan tokens. I needed 2k to get him to 5ss and not sure I even hit 100. The big finale of the giveaways was the Seth Card which didn't even get me from milestone six to seven on the Haymaker Event. This was significantly worse than last year, also between Extreme Rules and the midweek Showdown we've had to do a lot more to get less.

For the event… it got a bit repetitive, did appreciate having a showdown in between the gem colors extreme rules matches, but it wasn’t bad or the end of the world for a game like this.

The loot for me was a bit disappointing. Can’t remember how much I spent anymore, but didn’t get anything new from the 12 days loot. Maybe it’s the odds for me or bad luck in general, but it gets a bit deflating when you try and try and keep getting the same stuff you already have. And I am not expecting something new every $20 pack, but yeah… did get Chelsea from the event. So cheers! Maybe all my luck went there.

I guess for new players this might have been good with the give-aways, but to me, I think I’ve had more luck and fun with previous events. At least this time around the options for bonus points was nice as it had a range of characters one might have.

Other than that, thanks for the effort.
