  • Fued ran like crap never was fixed

As usual there still is no remove Superstar button on fued setup which is just dumb.

The rewards are trash and always have been no reason for a faction to even try except for those that need to show off. No thank you.

  • Basic bags were pretty terrible. Would have been nice to see some of the rarer superstars in there rather than freebies that most people already have and are common pulls.

odds on the loot also seemed pretty terrible. The chests were nice though, just wish there were more of them.

i would rather have another chest in the war score competition instead of the 50 bam bam shards.

overall, it wasn’t the worst contest ever run, but the rewards could have been a bit better.

  • All around good we3kend for a feud weekend ..

Loving the new perks for feud only

The Medallions were hard to get from just playing if I changed anything it would be easier to get Medallions for prizewall .

Also the Faction prizes are still weak and makes ya wanna not participate in the Faction Contest for the 1% for no worry prizes.

It’s just the same event rinse and repeat. Spend spend sepend. Just do away with perks all together.

  • i think the tours overall were pretty solid, I like that you brought back the challenge tours, thank you for that!

with regard to the feud, obviously there were some loading issues. I like that you're changing up the perks on them. It forces you to get creative with your lineups. Please keep doing that. I also appreciate that maxing the talent up gets you max perks for feud, takes the randomness out of it.

I do think that you overloaded us with kickoff event stuff, just fyi. By comparison Friday we barely had anything to do.

One other thing I would say is maybe update the faction rewards for feud? They seem sub par. Feels like there should be a bit more.

Thanks for allowing us the chance to give feedback!

Feud was unplayable at times due to issues with the servers.

Requiring new Bam Bam for the 2nd line Bonus was dirty. You should have allowed it to be any Bam Bam.

Seriously pick 1 subscription for the 2x Speed quit trying to make people get crap subscriptions just for 2x speed, the least you could do is to update the loot in the managers pass because right now it is all garbage. Or better yet just make all game modes 2x speed.

Faction Contest needs something besides level 6 stars. to earn points outside of the warscore comp.

Shards on the prizewall seemed to be priced to high. And the Nightmare plate was also priced to high. I think 4 medallions for the Shards instead of 8 would have been sufficient and Nightmare plate should have been around 10. Also why were the shards from the warscore reduced from 100 to 50?

  • I think like a lot of people, I feel the rewards could’ve been better. You’re basically asking people to spend money to get higher rewards, so make them worth it. That’s been one of my big issues, spend events tend to have bad rewards. Why not make people want better ones?

Also, the shard drops could’ve been better in the bags and the loot pulls.

  • I didn’t like the leveling up a 6s right after a Talent up event. Or the fact the game would need WiFi service even though I was on WiFi. Plus the 10 shards of superstars from bags. Was a joke considering out of all the superstars I only had 2 of those superstars and yet those were the only shards of get even out of the chests. So with no chase superstar I just maxed and was done for the weekend it wasn’t a spectacular event. In my opinion but was nice to have the weekend off.

  • While I like a challenge, some events were impossible to complete unless you had been playing for at least a year and a half or more it seems. Like one challenge, just on the Normal level you had to have a player with an almost 3,000 level. That's not normal that's impossible level for lower level players.

And you give us shards to get new characters, but we never get enough shards to complete the characters. Not everyone can afford to drop a $100 or more on a constant basis, especially in today's economy.

  • This year had ofcourse a gigantic boost in player power and calobre.. a great 2023 with amazing characters, im, contemplating to buy another 40 bag to try and get a few cards i need. Anyway hoping for a crazier year next year

  • Feud: Again was not a huge fan of the new perks for feud. The gem damage and and gem defense buffs are interesting, but no mp boosts of any kind is frustrating. It makes matches longer, less consistent, and punishing if you don’t have Santa hogans coach leveled.

Rewards: Very disappointing rewards this time around. For what I feel like is supposed to be a big end of the year event, the rewards from the faction event and tours were underwhelming. Basic bags were near worthless, only having 10 shards and including several free characters in them as well. What’s the point of grinding for these things all for an extremely measly 10 shards?

Prizewall: Also underwhelming, it mostly has the same issues with the other parts of the event. Maxing the event gave 5 medallions, which couldn’t really give you much. My choice was 50 shards of characters I will never be close to recruiting, some straps with very random effects, or a choice between two mediocre skill plates.

Overall I’m really just disappointed by the rewards for the event. Getting the final chest in both feud and the solo contest should feel rewarding, but this time around it really didn’t. It’s the end of the year, these events should really be special in my opinion. There should be more medallions to earn, and better rewards to buy with them.

The event itself is very good, but in Warscore there should be more tokens for the classes
and with the prize wall you should also have more chances to get a little more, so you get more
prize wall coins from the event. Under the last feud it was annoying with the lags in the game
that it would sometimes freeze and you have to restart to fix it

Overall this was a pretty good event. I would put it as a 7/10.

+no real rush to spend as the main target for most ppl was leaderboard.

+css were pretty open overall and were not horrible to max the unpaid portion.

+feud fills and perks were very easy to work with and work around.

+tours were easy to do and nothing overly challenging on them.

-rarity of the pw tokens was a bit difficult. The chests could have been a bit more free with tokens.

-not a ton worth chasing overall.

this was a very solid event all around though and hopefully more events follow this type of structure.

The best of 2023 feud event was all right, could have been better if not for the technical issues that plagued the feud late Saturday night.

I have been kicked from a match once, Ted ringed a few times and after trying to correct the issue by rebooting my phone and force closing the game, I was not able to get back into the game to finish my brawl.

The feud perks made me put HoF HHH and HoF Macho on the bench for this one, but was able to use Tech Razor for the first time in feud and old favorites like Acro Dom to sub in the ones I’m not able to use. I do not like the new perk system as it really reminds me of faction boss, a game mode I despise. The feud weekends used to be fun, being able to use whoever I want, but felt lately it is restrictive.

The tours were easy, but it’s because I had one of the top superstar or a 6ss superstar who might not be spectacular (Hollywood Hogan for the he’ll challenge mode), but was definitely doable and loved the gold shard boxes. The only thing about those, get rid of the past chase superstar shards like Nikki Cross… it’s deflating to get those. The lower shard bags were completely worthless and need to be revamped. This is 2023, 10 shards should not be the minimum any longer. It should be 50. Again, get rid of the free character shards. You all said shards would be available if missed the weekend release, but it’s EXTREMELY difficult to obtain them!

Warscore event should have a higher maximum than 50 million. The rewards were completely boring and should not punish the players who are prepared for the changes to the game over the past couple of years (promoters) or have the correct fast and hard hitting superstars, 50 million is like playing whiffleball to me.

The faction event was underwhelming, although I will say having the top 100 getting a gold shard box was amazing. What was really great was the amount of faction points in the Warscore event was a breath of fresh air as you can reach the faction’s minimum and max quickly. The rewards need to be a bit more as it is low compared to the effort to max it. Maybe a couple more gold boxes, a 6ss token case , a better plate box would make the effort feel more worthwhile.

The loot was mainly complete trash… should have only premium things in the featured, absolutely NO free or chase characters at higher rarities or someone that was not released in the second half of 2023!

The superstar event was okay and the solo event was okay as well although I would have loved to see a gold shard box in each of the bonus milestone, especially during the holiday months. Players should feel good spending and taking time to play during these past couple of months.

Overall, I’d give this event grade as a C because this is what I expect from Scopely and how they treat customers, who enjoys the game, but yet the Grinch is still around grabbing every dollar so he can look like the Million Dollar Man than Santa.

Typical feud - 20 hours long. Perks are terrible now, the old perks allowed for a much better feud lineup without needing to make major changes of plates and trainers.

The rewards are trash and limited. There are too many dupes in the loot for pulls. After buying the 90 coin $199 pack on the portal, my pulls were awful. Is it my luck? Is it a bad RNG? No card pulls from bags. Spending that much money to not get 1 new card or enough shards needed to recruit a new card is absolutely awful.

The glitch while in queue was difficult to navigate, I had to constantly close and reopen the app to enter the brawl I didn't know started was frustrating.

Leaderboard rewards should be expanded to reward top 1000 players not top 100. There are millions of players and the same people are always on top, mainly due to spending money on loot and upgrading the new cards.

I understand Scopely is a business and needs to make money to keep the game up-to-date, however, there is a particular level of greed associated with the way the company rewards. Honestly, why does Scopely care about making the game fair among factions when the game isn't even fun to play when you get no rewards to upgrade your roster. If someone spends 100 or even 200 dollars that should a guaranteed new card, doesn't to be 6s, but getting the weekend card after spending would intrigue more players to spend.

The business model of Scopely is not player-centric. 1 person spending $9000 is less than 100 people spending $100. There will still be the person or 2 or 3 that would spend $9000, but the 100 people that spend $100 will continue to invest to get more resources to upgrade those cards. The odds are terrible, is my point. There odds are terrible to get new moments during the new TU events, nothing but dupes for the moments we already have, the coins can't even be used if converted because the moments are maxed or don't have the cards to level up.

  • This is a good event for those that do not have the superstars. But I found no benefit for those of us that already have all of the superstars. No benefit to throwing money away at pulls that will get us no one new just for points for milestones. There needs to be better rewards to collect for those that already have all superstars in the loot.

    Poor weekend for the game.

Feuds were working the 1st hr then bam something happened and you couldnt feud. After it came back up you had to reload the game after each match. Even when the feud was over it wont recognize it and you had to reload the game. Was weekend off for me cause of it. Which is ok got other games to play that actually work as intended.

Odds were far to tight on the loot pull. Spent over 1k and only pulled 1 new star. The only cards I pulled were cards that were free or MLC chase cards. Didn't even pull a premium card that I already had. No excuse for that after spending so much.

The event was full of bugs again. Same issues time after time. Also no chase character. Once again, rewards are not worth the time it takes to achieve them. I would strongly suggest putting in bags with either premium plates or premium moments with a higher fued max.

First and foremost: I'm sure it's not great for the company's bottom line to go without a hot new toy, but more weekends like this are very beneficial, especially after the ongoing changes to the quality of the end-of-month blitz. I'm seeing lots of people in different Discord servers reeling in characters they've been chasing all year, and that's a good thing.

When not dancing around inexcusable technical issues, feud (and showdown for that matter) are still a pleasant experience with the Dodge mechanic turned off.

Unfortunately, those technical issues still exist and with fewer and fewer exceptions the response from Scopely Support boils down to "Why are you trying to play the game? Stop that. It's your fault this is broken." I'm done assigning moral value to these conversations that I largely have with AI bots. They just are what they are and it'll never change.

    So, about those shard bags/chests...

These rewards are a double-edged sword - for top factions they're almost completely useless as the majority of the members of those top factions already have most/all of the cards offered in the "premium" chests. For the majority of the player base, I think most got at least 100 shards of one card they don't have, which is great when those shards are often going for $100 or more. So, fair enough.

HOWEVER, the loot table ranged from "yucky feeling" to "completely screwed". The premium chest was always a let down when you got 100 shards of the monthly chases instead of the truly capital-P Premium characters.

But the basic shard bag? A chance at ten (10) shards? And it's not just that the bags are heavily diluted with free characters. But those free character shards are not hard to find elsewhere like briefcase keys, and usually in exponentially higher amounts. Especially for a bag that only offered 10(!) shards, you could remove the free characters to at least allow players to make incremental progress on cards that almost exclusively have 2,000 shard unlocks.

    Moving on...

The prizewall was fairly heavily paywalled once again, but at least there were some non-econ options that were affordable through playing the game, including some holiday-event plates. So definitely a thumbs in the middle for that.

The change to feud perks is still annoying but the remaining dedicated player base that plays this game, the players that keep playing this game AFTER they flush the toilet, is very resilient to change because we're used to things not working the way we want them to. We'll get there eventually, even if we're dragged into adapting.

Tours weren't too bad. Ludwig kinda sucks at lower levels against the hell opponents but you can certainly drag him to greatness.

Faction contests desperately need some more varied point-scoring methods. Maybe bringing in some of the ideas from showdown (breaking certain gems, winning with certain superstars [with caps of course, don't want factions to play the game too much when they could be spending]) would help?

  • Best contest in a while you should do more of those no new characters and try to catch up already released on having the chance to get released characters is always great to complete our roster im personally more encline to spend of someone existing that i really want then on someone new that i know i will not get anyway

Great job guys we need more of those

  • I love it just really rare to get the medallions when it's shouldn't be

  • Hated bag rewards. Should have been a chance to grt the star, rather than just 10 shards.

Feud felt buggy. Would face teams of nothing but completed 6S / 5SG opponents but ranking would match my own, despite not having anything close to that.

Pulls from rewards were minimal. Best was a 10 shard 'garauntee ' to go along with other 10 shards pulled. Would like to see more focus on superstars featured in contest rather then just accumulation of shards for stars I'll rarely use.

I had a few issues with glitching when playing on my tablet. Could possibly be my tablet, but never had issues in the past that I remember. Prize wall was ok. The rewards for getting to 50m in feud was underwhelming considering that was max. Still not sure how I feel about the new feud perks mechanics.

I will start with the good for this weekend. It was players choice been around a long time now and always a nice nostalgia.

The feud was fine nothing outrageous about it by any stretch. The special requirements were extremely easy to hit for the most part.

The tours were fairly straightforward and simple. Had the ability to use very attainable superstars

The prize wall tho not a lot on it you made the two plates extremely attainable to get at least one.

Now I suppose we can talk about the bad from the weekend. The players choice loot for the most part other than in the feature spot looked like a lot of just garbage. Free easily attained cards that only serve as shards and not even good shards in general.

The feud well filling tasks were easy. Getting the game to keep going was a different story. Lots of bugs probably the most issues I’ve had in a lot long time. Had to restart the game constantly. At one point it searched for an opponent for 5 minutes then booted us. Just wasn’t a great feud.

The prize wall. I mean there just wasn’t much there all in all to be honest. And most things you would have to spend actual money to get to be able to obtain them. I mean not even coins on the wall. It just wasn’t very good.

All and all I thought it was a throw away weekend and I just never got very excited about it

Besdes the typical technical glitches, the event was fine. There opportunities for those willing to spend and decent ftp offers. I still think that there should be better feud prizes. Prepping for feud consumes a lot of resources and the feud prizes aren’t even close in comparison. My faction is consistently top 10 and what we are getting in return for feud isn’t sufficient. You should consider that. Feud is a prime time event and should be rewarded as such.

Decent event for newer players and a chance to pick up shards for people didn’t quite manage to get, basic bags were pretty awful though premium bags were ok though.

contest superstar event it would of been nice if it had been left you can max without having Logan Paul or fatu, it is Christmas after all be nice to give back to your community.

few technical issues which I think everyone jumps on, I didn’t think were that bad just re start game and it had sorted.

prizewall as normal massively over priced for top prizes.

faction contest rewards were pretty poor no real incentive to max apart from bragging rights

feud Milestones preferred you could max at 50 mil then have bonus milestones, perfect opportunity to reward community for grinding/ playing the game

  • Negatives:

There was a really low count of shards on offer for superstars and no poster chances either.

    Positives:

Characters needed for feud was varied and nice.

    Rewards for feud remain strong

  • Davidmax
    Davidmax Member ✭✭

Over all I think it was good. I do believe some of the milestones were a little unattainable.. have seen with a lot of the contests there's always a couple of modes a person is not able to play unless they have a specific ss... but over all was ok.. do believe should have been more shards or at least a chance to get ss through prizewall which I think definitely could have been better

  • The faction rewards were crap not worth outscoring only top 3 had a difference besides strap parts 🙄

The game slowed late Saturday night and made playing unbearable red rings and heavy lagging couldn't see people joining feud

    Make faction rewards worth chasing

  • The event was good but my only problem was on the pulls when you spend money and alway get the same superstar, this does not make me want to spend anymore money later on thinking that i will not get no one new.

They could change the superstars that you can get on showdown please the chest boxes could have different superstars as well.
