Hard Times Showdown Showcase Feedback

Probably the worst experience ever. I was limited game play and could not enjoy/play SD. There were too many technical issues this SD. I’ll probably skipping the next one during this time if this continues.

A Very Hard pass weekend just riddled with bugs and messups. Just seems to be spiraling all out of control this weekend. First with the Great Champs TP purge and now a yawn unworthy of a grind event of a showdown.

Unless you have all the CSS its gonna be a grind, im missing two which means im already 180k points down. Even with the promoters on id be still looking at around 60 matches in the universal league. Im sorry but i got other things to do during the day aswell other than wait for my energy to refil, which i might add half of it was wasted with the startup load errors and CSS not earning points correctly. Have 100 Health packs though as we are truly sorry you have wasted your time and showdown energy.

The faction event had some showdown aspects added in aswell - Break row gems/Use Legacy. Fair enough that adds some faction points but yet again another lets take all those coins you have earned in the week and spend em on the weekend, by the way theres a Coin/Evo event that will also drain around 50mil in coin resources every day for a week.

If we are gonna do this at least boost the coin amount on the Prizewall, not that ill be getting anything more than coin and resource as i need to pick my tp amount back up. Also we have had some banging prizewalls recently, why let yourselves down with not having enough Free medallions available to even touch the top prizes without spend? Weve had it were i can get a few bonus milestones and still get some pretty decent stuff, plates, champ shards 6ss token bundles all for decent prices. But then again we had decent output of the medallions too.

Apart from helping out the faction i really had no drive for this weekend event at all, just feels like a bit of a kick to the nuts. Just another event to take the game direction down the hill. Rewards need to be stepped up in order for the grind to be worthwhile to players. I honestly didnt wanna push past milestone 12 to be honest as i knew i wasnt gonna get close to 14 and the inbetween wasnt too much of an incentive either.

In short, sort out the mess with the showdown events in future be it the issues with server or connections or simply the fact the fact that contest champs arent giving the points. Make the 'Free' milestone accessible not locked through CSS, mainly being the new featured. Quite annoying to think most of the progress you are doing this weekend is trumoed by the fact you dont have the new featured. Also scrap the premium Showdown and just do the premium tour like you have done in the past with more resources added in.

Felt a massive waste of time to play this once I realised I would not make the top milestone because I didn't have the two premium css. Fortunately this meant I didn't need to play on Sunday and was able to do other stuff

I am finding it quite difficult right out of the gate to enjoy showdown when it starts 24 hours early for those who were lucky enough to get Dusty. It makes you feel capped from the start.

Once I got started it was decent. Then you move up and the superstar requirements change. That made it more difficult to do some of the tasks like Drew.

Overall, it just takes away from the event because of the ridiculous requirements and lack of planning.

So here's the big issue with the event.

There is not enough showdown energy to max the event without 2 paywalled characters im talking to the 1,800,000 milestone.

Never til this weekend has the showdown weekend been a shardless loot. Also how is it the 6sb off the prizewall is 10,000 medallions less than the 3ss poster/card whatever?

If they want to take the grind aspect out of the game and make it pure spend then let it be known so that way we know what we are getting our selves into.

Also faction event is a joke. literally nothing to compete for 5k medallions that really gets you nothing off the prizewall. Taking the plate off the leaderboards why? because other factions cant compete? if you wanna hold your own save your tokens and point methods for weekend events.

but card after card costly over $400.00 a weekend is outrageous. 99% of games out there dont charge this specially when the card is outdated in less than a year.

offer more bang for your buck if thats the case. give people a reason to spend said $$.

Sorry for a double post: but just want to show what support thinks of its players: I was told my game worked and I was not affected. Notice the noritity before red ring: how didn’t that effect my leaderboard chance? So they basically lied to me by saying they reviewed my account!

This showdown a nightmare. Win a match w Drew? Ok vs 6 stars? There is only 1 viable Drew very very few have him. Win a SD w Heart Foubdation. Ok but no heat foundation ready turn 1 so opponent smokes them.

Changes. Win a showdown w a 5 star on lead on defense. Win a showdown w a 4 star on lead. We need lowered defenses so newer players have even a hint of a chance. Again you need to cater to free to play as they could become whales. I was going to do a few pulls but the event poor so no rewarding a poor event.

The shard loot is nice idea however every time I pull get 10 15 of posters I have. Why not make it choice to buy bags of superstars we want w between 10 and 50 shards per bag. However if paid pull MUST be 5% minimum. Sick of paying for pulls then get 10 for a 2k shard recruit poster. That saying you charging 5k usd for a 2k poster. I mean omg bad.

So would love to see gaurantrmeed posters sold in store again if poster was out for a year plus it should be free to play. No reason to charge 99 cents for zombie triple h. No coach trainer value no real fighter value. That goes for tech Hogan pyro princess Alexa pretty use look ess as well. We need fairness in game. Capitalism is fine but hyper capitalism is so sad.

Energy 16 w 30 min refresh why not 15 minutes? This is so sad. You had issues again. W scoring.

I give the event a D minus. Took me right out of any possible pulling. Go on put up an 80 pull for 20 bucks. Not pulling this event. 2 thumbs down.

On positive note you can always do better. Sorry but this has been a dumpster fire event.

This has been the most unplayable contest in years. Where do I start?

Pros: decent solo points in tours. That’s it for the pros.

cons: The red ring freezing made the event frustrating to play. Numerous css didn’t count towards milestones( Drew,Cody,Terry Funk). The amount of PW coins offered on the shop and portal events was a slap to the face of your player base. You could max the solo and don’t have enough for the top PW prize. If you don’t have acess to the portal or didn’t max the portal events you wouldn’t be able to get the top prize. SD has always been about the grind and the grind this time didn’t feel worth it. This contest didn’t benefit any level of player f2p or p2p. I believe upcoming SD contest need overhauling. You can’t copy and paste a contest and make it worst it makes no sense. This contest felt like scope’s was punishing players instead of rewarding

Some factions think they are entitled to a new plate every event. Thank goodness this has gone. Hope it never returns. Prizes are for competitions and this ain’t no competition this is an event and a poorly organised event. Why please 2% when eventually 98% will turn against you so great job em removing the free plate.

next…. So you remove our tp for your mistake but last month left the tokens on the paywall in fairness. Lol.

what should really happen is every time there is a mistake it stays. The person responsible for the mistake gets FIRED. Maybe then no mistakes. Simples.

however under no circumstances should you ever go into our accounts and adjust things. That’s our accounts. It’s theft. And you took more from my account then you were entitled to. This is our property our accounts so once it’s in our account don’t touch it.

My experience and thoughts about this weekends event. This weekend event has been disappointing if I’m being honest 

Trial: the trials was probably the only thing I enjoyed. Trails are always fun. Gives us first hand opportunities to play and test new characters. Specially if we don’t recruit them.

Premium SD: I personally don’t mind this as it rewards those who recruit the characters early. Never me though lol

Regular SD: this SD has been a joke and there are several things here. 1 - It is impossible to max the event unless you have all the CSS or buy a lot of stamina . In my opinion no game mode should not be this way. We should be given the opportunity to max events without having to spend  (I.e. being able to grind without having to pay for stamina at least to the last free milestones) all the bonus milestone I can understand having to pay for. 2 - You have set the new Dusty as a CSS. Which without made it impossible to max if you did not recruit. You already gave those who recruit dusty the premium SD. So why punish/limit the rest of the players with this limitation? 3 - Asking for Drew damage and locking the first slot to Legends.  Can we stop doing these kind of  requirements. This is difficult for many players as some like me do not have a high level drew and you are asking me to waste my limited stamina to do little damage against what peoples defense of 6sb or 6ss superstars??!? How does that make sense? It only makes us more frustrated and makes me want to stop playing.

Faction event - this faction even has been difficult to gain points. You cut down the points you usually offer for each time we level a 6 star superstar from what it’s typically 2000 per level to 1000. So now I have to spend twice as much. So for the F2P players makes it difficult to unload so much coin. The medallions are also limited so can’t receive much points there. Why have we not seen any enhance token points from faction events in a while? Why remove this from the events?

Prizewall - I like the plates on the prizewall but it appears as if you did not recruit dusty and played the Premium SD you are not going to receive any meaningful medallions to obtain a plate or anything worthwhile. 

This weekend SD event has left a sour taste in my mouth. Hopefully next SD will be organizing better

Insufficient points to get the Gold box miles stone. This is the first time cannot get it.

WHY CANT YOU MAX A CONTEST FROM ONLY GRINDING THE GAME!! ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO MAX WITHOUT PAYING WHY?

I have to say that I thought you guys were looking up with the contests the feud and prize wall have been excellent recently giving old characters and options on good stuff.

THIS CONTEST HAS BEEN HORRIFIC!

where to start you can’t max without spending you can’t max showdown contest without having every character featured I have only one I don’t have and still can’t max.

we all put time and effort into this game and I like showdown but this and the liv showdown has been completely awful.

YOU NEED TO MAKE THE CONTEST POSSIBLE TO COMPLETE WITHOUT ALL FEATURED CHARACTERS OTHERWISE ITS NOT FAIR!

Next showdown give us a chance to max without all the featured characters and give us a more achievable medallions board like you did with the zombie contest and everyone would be much happier

Despite spending more money than I should have, I didn’t get any of the special cards. I also was unable to max anything. This game had just became a money grab.

Had massive issues with SD this weekend impossible to max and the only way to get to max was to "spend" which is unacceptable if I had the chance I would file a class action lawsuit

I have been trying really hard to not being negative about the game, it's supposed to be fun so no reason to get upset. But man was this showdown event bad. To start off having CSS not actually scoring points when they were supposed to. Then having the Drew points not counting and when that finally gets fixed there was no notification given in game to let people know it's fixed let alone compensate us for all of the time and energy we wasted trying to do the matches.

Next making the only way to max the "free" portion of the Showdown event requiring you to have a rare Pat Patterson or having pulled Dusty and get the 100 shards, why say those are free shards if it isn't the case.

Then to the prize wall, you lowered the prices for things by half but then lowered the amount of prize wall coins by 3/4. So basically we are getting even less for our time.

Showdown was my favorite event for the longest time and I honestly don't mind the energy and don't mind the restrictions of who we have to use. We had a really good chance of getting the character in the next 2 months for free but now I will be lucky to ever get the last 400 shards with how little we get of the prize wall coins.
