Not a fan of adding that you need to recruit the weekend CSS to get all the Showcase points. This is a new change as the last two SDs at least did not require the weekend chase ss to get all the points. On top of this the total points from CSS have been reduced from 1.89 million to 1.8 million. This change makes me have less desire to spend and just accept that I will not be getting all the solo points. Also the fact that there are no shards in the loot is bad. So now it is either get lucky and pull him or to bad and you seem to have intentionally backloaded the shard bags in the solo contest making it less likely for someone to pull him without spending.

I lke the bonus that starts the day before for those who recruited feature card. I would like to see more shard opportunities for feature card as node completion rewards. Give us more ability to use in game currency to acquire more feature shards.

I like how the card was given out free before the event started if your were quick enough. Thus ruining the weekend event before it even started..
I also like how it's an exact copy and paste of zbecky and not enough free points for the last free milestone.

Enjoying the SD so far this weekend. It's pretty much par for the course, especially as far as F2P goes. One thing I noticed immediately that I think is a big let down is Stardust still isn't being treated as using any Cody Rhodes. Having Stardust as my only Cody,who by the way has the original Rhodes family link, Should definitely count as "Any Cody". Other than that as far as the SD event goes from a strictly F2P perspective I won't be able to get enough of the event tokens to get anything more than shards and tokens. Its disheartening to know that no matter what I do besides spend I will be walled off from getting the 3star Dusty. Unfortunately at this time of the month it's just not possible to spend so it is what it is. There's been allot of great events recently that have been more than kind to F2P so I'll take this one in stride and be grateful for what I can get. Thanks for keeping champions great and happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

So here's the big issue with the event.
There is not enough showdown energy to max the event without 2 paywalled characters im talking to the 1,800,000 milestone.
Never til this weekend has the showdown weekend been a shardless loot. Also how is it the 6sb off the prizewall is 10,000 medallions less than the 3ss poster/card whatever?
If they want to take the grind aspect out of the game and make it pure spend then let it be known so that way we know what we are getting our selves into.
Also faction event is a joke. literally nothing to compete for 5k medallions that really gets you nothing off the prizewall. Taking the plate off the leaderboards why? because other factions cant compete? if you wanna hold your own save your tokens and point methods for weekend events.
but card after card costly over $400.00 a weekend is outrageous. 99% of games out there dont charge this specially when the card is outdated in less than a year.
offer more bang for your buck if thats the case. give people a reason to spend said $$.

Horrible showdown, complete waste of time. Points for drew, Cody and funk didn't update and wasted all the energy for the matches and not to mention my time.

This sd is almost impossible to play consistently freezing and red ringing I’m losing notoriety everytime and my superstars are losing health and using health packs everytime is nuts. The drew tech quest isn’t working either and needed the new dusty for 2 requirements is unnecessary.

Me parece que están haciendo cada ves más difícil esto aparte que llegar al hito 1.8millones es difícil pero jugando aveces se puede lograr si no tienes a algún luchador pero en este caso muchas veces pasa lo del círculo rojo nos saca del juego y tener que esperar media hora para recargar una energía hace que uno se desanime a jugar y los hitos siento que ya son muy elevados

So after playing this event I have determined that the coders should worry more about Contests running properly than rolling back TP.
- Tech Feat only counts 1 time when using two Techs
- Red Rings causing loss of Notoriety/winstreaks/energy that will most likely cost me the 1.8 million milestone.
- Wasted multiple attempts due to damage feats not counting for Drew.
- Cody task did not work as intended and was changed to match the in game behavior.
- Terry Funk Task could not be completed in World Champion League
Also for the Faction portion 1000 pts for 1 level on a 6 star is Way to Low. Either increase the points or add more tasks such as the rowbreak/Anoi'a/Maivia tasks. For example increase the limit for the Maivia task. On top of pts issues the Leaderboard rewards are just laughable.
Also the CSS restrictions are too much. I only missed Pat and new Dusty and will be short of the 1.8million milestone.

I thought the zbecky was bad. I also thought you learned from that mess but apparently you did not. Why so few solo points. Why so few prize wall medallions? Do better

Stardust does in fact count as Any Cody Rhodes once you reach the world champion level of the Showdown. It just isn't worded that way.

I like the different ways to earn points in the showdown contest. What I really don't like is that there is a task for Drew mcyntire points but yet you need a legend to start your showdowns. That's seems off to me.

Coders don't care what average players think. They are all about keeping the top 1 percent happy because that's where a chunk of there money comes from. Scopely cares more about pushing out crappy quantity over good quality. The quality of this game keeps going further and further down the rabbit hole. There is way to much focus on pushing more and more new stuff then fixing the existing problems (Like the one with trick Becky and her constant freezing, that's been going on for almost 10 months).

On top of all the other issues players are encountering with the crap show, my energy isn't refilling. I was at 0 energy 7 hours ago and have not played since and is still showing at 0 at will refill in 13 days. I guess I really shouldn't be surprised with such poor quality from you guys.

this has been one of most horrible events, even the loot has 0 odds, i have wasted huge amount of $$$ and got even no shards of any sort of character. the requirements are total BS, i don't feel like playing. this is just stupid

Ok my two cents:
pro:
I like having different challenges within the event. Different css to win points is great, makes use of your wider roster not just the normal cards you rely on
con:
the css in this event don’t make much sense…drew in a dusty event?! So you’ve got to tag in hoping the damage isn’t already too much
solo points are difficult to max if you don’t have certain characters, it should be common characters get you the solo points, rare earn extra resources
red Ring errors and scoring mistakes along with reported accounts of dusty being free to some just makes things less enjoyable and less likely I’ll spend my money on the game on future months

Just like last month, the scoring of this event is ENTIRELY off base.
I have every bonus character except Pat and New Dusty and won't come close to 1.8m. Like, not even close. Because I couldn't be near my phone until semi-recently, and the portal emulation is STILL BROKEN. So I'm gonna miss the turkey because Scopely has trouble doing basic math and figuring out what fair or sane requirements are.
Asking for Drew damage and locking the first slot to Legends is one of the most insane things y'all have ever done which says a lot. Between that and all the bugs, I think everyone is owed a LOT of complementary solo points to make up for this travesty (just like you had to do last month with zLiv).

ok will and try and structure things in the order of my issues with this SD and other events (boss)
- what is the point of factions if there are not even faction worthy prizes, so if other factions cant compete with the top faction the response from Devs is (a. remove the faction event like boss) or the latest remove the unique prize (plate/moment) from the faction event again because others can't compete. Remove the factions only then and make it a solo spend game. Balance is needed for this aspect where players/factions can choose and have resources to chase the leaderboards
- SD refresh started off has one of the best events where you could easily max the event and have a fairly light weekend again has become heavily paywalled and not grindable at all. instead of building from a place of fairness and accessibility for the larger base (open requirements, less matches, maybe 2 milestones to be paywalled) to pissing your player base off with where the bonus milestones chest are also rng shards instead of the previous 4sg/100 shards chests
- i no longer even see character previews or character builds since its most unattainable and non grindable, all we are left wondering is how the Devs decided to screw with the playerbase
- its fine to operate from profit, but greed is not sustainable
- this month overall has been a major downer and needs to be fixed. bring back the ability for a f2p to grind to compete with others otherwise there is no initiative for all involved

Oh look, another event gets pushed out that isn't working properly. I suppose that's on me for expecting it to work fine. Now, to be fair, the Drew points that a lot of people had issues with worked for me. What didn't work is requiring Drew and then locking the first slot behind Legends. Absolutely awful choice there.
Not being able to max the "free" milestones without Pat or Dusty (neither of which are "free") is terrible. You guys need to realize that people are more willing to spend money when the product isn't complete ass.

The showdown being broken has made everyone waste energy. It is hard for a faction to get excited about a broken event, so people tap out and rightfully go on to doing other things. Problem is, the faction competition is tied to the solo competition. It honestly seems that you’ve made showdown so complicated that you guys can’t even do it.

No Drew points for me even though I did 3 matches with him. No communication from the mods on this mess of an event. More Scopely math which makes no sense. Another misleading blog-subject to change. I'm not mad, just disappointed.

Count me in among the people that frankly can’t even play due to bugs. More than half of the matches freeze/red ring/connection error, costing energy and notoriety. With the event set up with so little margin for error, I’m just burning energy and throwing up a prayer that I won’t be penalized for no reason. I would have finished the event, but can’t now because of the wasted energy. Pro tip: if your bugged event wastes energy, the prospect of giving you actual money for more energy knowing that there’s good odds your errors will waste it make this a non-starter. The support team is not responsive to this in a timely fashion, and me having the time to play now doesn’t me I will have the time later whenever they get around to it.
Tl;dr: your coding is not stable enough to run an event like this that is so time sensitive and with the energy scarcity.

This is the worst and now my least favorite feature to play in the game. There’s no possible way to max the CSS superstar contest. Even if you’re missing a couple it doesn’t matter. Hoarding the promoter tokens 1 a day is ridiculous as well. At least bump it up to 5-10 a day minimum.
the whole drew thing was never really sent in game as a message. So I lost 6 energy before realizing it. I only then seen a message on the game support when I went to put in a ticket. Normally I would prefer the mailbox message and Twitter notifications.
48 tech bonuses should consider both lanes not just one . You should get double credit if you use 2 techs. This way you can finish it fast and focus on your coins for SD.
the whole SD had way too many issues and needs to be eased up a bit.
