My thoughts for new and FTP players

I had originally posted this as a response to someone but I feel that it might be beneficial to more players and could start a discussion that may lead to improving the game and playing experience for everyone.

I started out completely free to play but quickly realized the benefit to spending wisely. There's nothing wrong with being free to play as long as you accept the limitations that not spending are going to put on you.

In my opinion this year has been the best year for free to play players ever. From "Grant Camping" to now We've had an abundance of great posters and resources there for the taking as long as you put in the time and work.

Does spending give you an advantage? Of course it does, it would be counter productive if it didn't. However the free posters each month have been extremely serviceable for a long time now and the fact that they continue to give away older cards all the time means anyone can put together a playable roster with the right amount of effort and foresight into who is best for you in what situation. Like don't take your favorite to 6* just because they're your favorite. Make sure they'll help you get the most in return on your investment in them.

What I do encouraging all players to spend on are the passes. The Shane contract, the king of kings pass and the strap up pass. That's about 30 bucks a month that will give you access to both pulls and resources guaranteed. Remember you will never have to spend anything, it will just make your experience that much better if you do. So remember that people who spend not only make the game continue to function but they also have access to posters with much better abilities that you're going to have to face or contend with at some point.

I Hope this helps you look at the game for what it is and what you can make of it. We're all in here playing together so be helpful and ask for help when you need it.
