Ring General Decay

  • Honestly making bonus points on guys on the right side was tough since the actual zombies who worked are not very good. When u face mostly 6* its hard to win with a 5* zfinn. Alot of changes pretty much making F2P obsolete.

  • Greetings!

First of all, the artwork on the zombie Gunther poster is very well done, including the character model - great job. The characters moves are very good and fit the theme of both Gunther and a zombie with the deal damage to self and lifesteal- it's destructive and very fitting of a zombie.

The contest tours were good and I'm glad they weren't restricted to zombies, because there is a year gap between each phase of zombie releases they can be outdated very quickly and so I'm glad I could use non-zombies for some elements and use zBrock where I could to get by.

This also applies to the showdown where it seemed like general strategy was to just pass by the first few turns and tag out. I'm not sure how to get past this as zombie characters from last year become outdated in the current meta. But, that's the game and we do our best to move on and progress.

The prizewall was OK, it would be good to get more shard options or ways to attain some of the older (but still rare) zombie characters since almost none are used in the current meta, but that might just be my opinion.

I think one of the things I really would have liked to have seen was a zombie/western themed arena during games - it does feel like the atmosphere is lacking a bit compared to say the Rocky event which had a boxing themed ring.

Overall a good event and a good start to zombie month!

I think the contest is cool. It would be better if it ran a little longer to give us the opportunity to get the chase character

The even itself was a fun idea. I love the zombies. It’s sowmthng I look forward to every year.

The survival was a nice change of pace, the required characters made it too difficult to get the bonus. They weren’t in my roster or. It worth spending the resources on for one.l event.

The Showcase was incredibly difficult, as the draws I received were way higher than my character base. The setup also didn’t help with my roster, I would be constantly going up against 6ss duos with my 5sg. Coupling that with not counting the Coaching bonus toward the contest makes the showdowns fruitless.

The final complaint is the prizewall requirements seem way too high. Even topping out solo events and most of the showdown, I only ended up with 25k in coins. The payoff off was not worth the time investment. I’m not sure how anyone can get to 75k plus without spending a fortune.

Overall, love the zombie concept, but the payoffs are incredibly low for the effort out into a weekend event.

    Solo Event

The free milestones in the solo event were easily achievable and with light spending a couple of bonus milestone were easily achievable. The milestones gave a good chunk of prize wall medallions. Would rate the Solo event a 9/10 mainly because of the last few milestone being too heavy on the purse

    Showdown event

The showdown was great as always. Though you need to have the contest superstars to max, I’ve always reached the penultimate milestone and have never had a bad experience. As long as you put in the grind, it is fun. Again a 9 out of 10, just because of the contest superstars. Got to cater to those who spent and got those superstars.

    Faction event

The faction event was great as always. The milestones were nominal and the prizes were decent. Just wished the loot coins helped me snag some good shards. Unfortunately they were mostly repeats.

    Tours

The tours were doable. It was good to have a mix and match of easily attainable vs paywalled characters. The survival mode was a nice change of pace and the rewards were pretty decent as well.

    Prize wall

The prize wall was just right having decent goodies for medallions of all prices. Would have love to gotten more medallions.

Overall the Gunther event was a solid 8.5/10. Lower points because the pay to scale becomes very very steep after reaching certain milestones.

The leech and botch gems points were impossible to get as you either needed very specific zombies or you had to go to under 400 notoriety to be able to try. The Gunther Wanted token was impossible for f2p players and that will mess the month long contest for many of us.

This game is getting harder to keep up with because of all the $$ you have to invest to have a chance at getting what you need to make progress and keep up.

I may need to consider leaving this game after 7 years of play.

This was kind of a weird scrimmage, all told.

    • Shards were a bit low for a scrimmage character we basically only get a shot at this month, but there was also opportunities for a few extra shards and hopefully we have the opportunity to make up the difference this month without spending 400 bucks. Also a plus is that the zombies this year aren't essentially a nigh-required set of coaches that are super limited throughout the year, which really helps ease any pains of missing out on any of them.
    • The Showdown Superstar contest continues to have some interesting changes, this time introducing actual ingame requirements in the forms of breaking botch and leech gems. This was a bit annoying given the requirements of a zombie up front for most of the leagues (Hope you have zMankind or zSteamboat!) but I liked how we were encouraged to use characters in a more active way last week, and I like it here too. Just don't make them too crazy or incredibly grindy in the future, this week was pretty much a perfect superstar contest.
    • These tours probably sucked a whole lot if you didn't have zMankind, who I'm... not exactly sure how rare he is at this point. He's getting up there in age, but he still feels relatively rare unless you up and pull him. If he's someone that the average person can obtain without spending like 500 bucks, then these tours were mostly serviceable. If not, it was a pretty awful set of tours in terms of requirements.
    • Prize wall was actually not too bad, in my experience, though granted I nailed this event. I was actually able to buy the General's Hand plate which isn't exactly this super-required worldbeater of a plate but honestly? I don't mind more accessible ultimate plates that aren't Drip plate-levels of earthshaking, just as long as they're interesting and can change up how people are played. In general, I thought the plates were well-priced with the exception of the Heart of Jade plate which just feels really expensive for something that isn't exactly, well, Drip Plate-level. Oh, and the shards weren't a rip-off for once, but I did wish there were more of them.

Thought the contest was good. SD went smoothly. Should have been able to get points with any trickster, not just ones in the first slot. I don't like having defenses and offences change at different levels. Tours were fine. Again I dont think there were enough prize wall medallions given out.

Please improve the game experience and the key pull; try to give something good with those keys. Besides, enhance your game so that it will optimize with every mobile. I have Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro, last year it was not compatible with your game which was really hurtful for me.

    The good

The bonus goodies if you recruited early was nice!

Decent tours with do able ccs

    The bad

Faction competition leaderboard prizes. I don't the fact that the number one faction get the plate but i'd like to see the chance bags come back for places 2-10. The prizes for anyone other then first place were just a waste of time. Give us something to compete for!

Showdown energy reduced to 12 is annoying meaning less sleep inbetween runs. I don't mind the energy system and i love showdown but please don't kill it.

Showdown CCS was bad! If you were missing Zsteamboat which alot where it was almost impossible to max.

I love Showdown weekends as its the least time consuming aspect of the game imo but please don't squeeze it too much.

cool event, I hope we can find the items to complete a lot of milestones

  • Ok so the event is good I've always enjoyed zombie events even though there is a massive skill gap between the good zombies and the bad zombies such as zombie Kevin Owens and even zombie Charlotte

As for rewards they are pretty good and give aways like this are always nice
