  • Mostly good, but the only 2 bad things are taking away the Evo tokens on the prize wall in the first week and requiring crappy older zombies to complete the tours (lesnar and flair so far). But overall solid so far. Have another screw up where you offer 40 coins for 19.99. I'll buy that every day.

I will keep it short this time since usual things are normal like card, it's pretty good, and event organisation.

Prizewall was pretty fair and had good rewards. We could obtain solid number of prizewall medallions so I definitely liked that.

One thing that I absolutely loved was getting survival matches back! It is fun having something different nowadays and the thing I was mentioning before was definitely improved this time. Bonus characters for tours were definitely a good choice, especially for survival matches, characters like Sami Zayn, who can be played good defensively.

One thing I did not like was removing 48 matches bonus characters points in showdown event. That way it was harder to max the event. Before we needed only few bonus characters (the ones with 3 matches to do) and we could max it, this time I couldn't even do it with all bonus characters except ZDragon. I think 48 matches needs to be back or the different bonus points need to be increased.

Definitely an improve in this event, everything I was mentioning before is getting improved step by step. Definitely something to praise the company for. I hope we see new details in every next event, just like this one with survival matches.

Well, I found interesting the showdown at the beginning of this MLC, the prizewall had a variety of accessible prizes with the General Decay Medallions.

The milestones of the showdown were also a lot of effort because it didn't have some zombies that were requested in the list, the tours were good except for the women challenge tour, because is not much variety of women zombies in the game, you should add some more in the future, to get some more accessible or improve a little those that are already in the game by revamp some women zombies.

The Medallion rewards were also a good amount, it was also nice that you added now survival mode in the challenge modes as it makes the confrontation more interesting to take 10 turns to finish.

It would also be interesting to revamp some movements of the zombies that are currently in the game too.

Butt it was a good showdown with Zombie Gunther.

  • Liked the change in having survival matches and different scoring for the sd event. Still not a huge fan or the certain use of era or class once you get to a certain notoriety

This is actually one of the better zombie events, usually I don't like zombie events because they require us to use zombies to fight high tier characters and the majority has the worst of the worst zombies, but this event wasn't that bad

I actually liked the survival matches in the tour, they offered lots of good rewards and all you have to do is to last to win, I was able to get alot of points with this and I hope to see this in more zombie events

I liked that you were more generous with gunther shards and boxes this time around, normally I only see a few and those were extremely hard to get and I only end up with 300 or less shards of a css in showdown events but I was able to get a lot of boxes and end with 775 shards which is a lot for me, though I wished I got him 4sb from the box though

You removed the era points from showdown and decided to distribute them with damage done and destroy botch and leech gems contests, at first I hated it but after a few matches with Corbin and kama, I ended up liking it, its way faster than playing alot of matches with a specific era or stable to get points for the showdown

This event was really good, the ky thing i didn't like were the rare bonus characters required for the showdown, because of that I couldn't max the free milestone and I was i milestone away, thus really annoys me when you put something in the milestones and lock most of the points to bonus characters that are either rare or complete trash to use, apart from that, really solid event 8/10

This contest was not very good in many aspects. Let's divide them into two categories:

    Good:

    1. There is a high probability of getting a new die (but of course I didn’t get it because, as usual, I have no one to play at zombie events.)
    2. Finally, a completely acceptable and affordable plate. (You could even say that there were two of them)
    3. Not a bad new character. And quite a lot of people received it (of course, except me, as usual)
    4. A relatively quick opportunity to close the entire event of the SD mode itself.
    5. Relatively accessible characters in SD (this time I didn’t have 90% of the required characters.) But even I managed to reach the penultimate reward.
    6. Relatively simple layout of the characters required for fielding relative to the league (it’s good that they didn’t try to be tricky with the choice of a specific class, they left only zombies)

    Bed:

    1. Survival modes (in them, opponents of absolutely no strength were placed for the free required characters.)
    2. Roads with very strange required characters.
    3. Medals for the faction event (even 10 medals were not given so that I could get at least something; I did not receive a single pack of new shards at all)
    4. Technical stability of the Showdown mode itself.

Let's sum it up: A very good event, I'll give it 9/10 (but, as always, not for me since I didn't have what I needed.) But overall, I practically can't say anything bad about the event itself.

  • If I had run into a player in the showdown tournament that was using a 3 star hogan that somehow had access to his 17k trainer abilities or if I played a character at 2 star that had him equipped at all, and I reported them they would likely be banned for cheating.

So why is it I keep running into it in tours? If you report it as a bug to scopely, customer service says that the rules don't apply to cpu opponents. They say it's about challenge. Well, then why have rules at all? Why not give cpu opponents extra trainer slots, or moves that don't exist.

The point of rules in a game like this is it creates balance and strategy. If you can't do that without cheating, then you have failed as a designer.

What's more egregious is doing this on "normal" difficulty. Hell mode? OK, still not acceptable but you are providing the ultimate challenge for top level players. But to create a scenario where you need to win a match (half the time with a D tier character, so you are handicapped already) on what us essentially the beginner difficulty setting) just screams "we don't care about you having fun, we just want to make you struggle so that you have to spend money".

Overall it wasn't bad. I think the prizewall for this event needed some cheaper alternatives. A big part of this event was showdown and boss battle.

Showdown, the requirements were kinda tough, especially for newer players.

Boss battle, this is a broken form of content, full of disconnects and is very unfriendly towards newer players.

Given these issues, it's difficult for some to earn many prizewall tokens and have very limited choices on what to spend them on.

    Specifically on this challenge:

Showdown was okay, challenges were a sticky issue because you either have characters strong enough to survive or you don't.

Tours weren't too bad given what they were.

    - Milestones were weirdly placed out though. Making it hard to max the free milestones without paid characters is just standard at this point so what's the point of bringing it up?

Generally, you need to do something to buff zombies. The utility gap is, for lack of a better term, monstrous between older cards and newer ones. Brock, and now Charlotte, are going to be a nightmare to work with.

The ring general decay was pretty good event. I love the zombie month event. It had a few glitches but overall it was good. Can't wait to see who else you guys are going to put as a zombie. Would love to see Alexa as a zombie, Bailey as a zombie. Also Vince, Shane and Stephanie as zombies.

  • We are investing too much time of our lives in this game, I am sure we deserve better rewards, please think more in Free to Play Players

My review of the General Decay event.

Firstly I just want to say that zGunther has an amazing card art for his poster and the in game model is fantastic. He is so appealing and looks fantastic so i just want to provide some positive feedback on how stunning zGunther is. Futher to that his training ability and move set is fantastic. What I love about his mindset is that he is very unique on how he works with the triple yellow build and it looks very fun so thank you for outting some thought into that. The slaps animation is fantastic and you feel like you are actually playing a Gunther like character by slapping your opponent raw for most of the match so props to that. Overall zGunther is a great character with fantastic poster art and a great in game model 10/10.

Okay, with that out of the way lets talk about the actual event. The event was solid for free to play players, I was able to complete the tours without any difficulty and was able to get to the final milestone of the general decay event with ease which was nice. This is how events should be for those that like to spend or have rare characters can push harder for more/better rewards.

I have seen a lot of comments complaining about the zombie hunter tour on hard for the node against striker Nikki. I had no difficulty with a 4sg zAsuka to get 1 star for the challenge no cash required for a kickout also a 4sb zPaige 3 starred the contest by stun locking Nikki. I think that advice is wrong it was very doable unlike last week's tour events that had women trickster event that had a sub plate and cancelled trap gems. Much better this week.

  • October MLCs are always hit or miss because of the wide gap in usability for zombie characters, but overall this MLC has been not as challenging as some previous ones.

    More access to 6ss tokens.

    more actually achievable milestones.

less making us use/waste resources on junk superstars

it was nice to have 200 coin options on the prizewall so we could spend our coins, but even 100 or less option would be welcome. I hate having leftover event coins.

  • Didn't really like the reduction in energy. That made it a bit more difficult to do what was needed to be done. With the 16 energy I could have got much closer to maxing the event and probably would have ended up buying energy to get me there.

  • My main problem with the SD contest is the bonus characters. It’s hard enough when we have to use certain classes or eras to do showdown at the higher champion levels. But the bonus characters is the problem I’m always missing 3 or 4 of them and usually can only get to the 2nd to last milestone in the contest. Please make it more attainable getting to 1,800,000 s hard enough.

Didnt enjoy the requirements so much but was pretty ok trying to very to the poster at then end of the free rewards. Hopefully the remaining shards are easy to get

It was an okay contest. I felt Walter was incredibly hard to attain. I also found trying to get the leech gems and botch gems on the checklist very frustrating. Would love to see more shards for past zombies given out as well.

SD event was fine for me, was able to max in about an hour, missing only zGunther as a bonus character.

Tours were okay for the most part, but for the love of god, Survival matches are awful.

Showdown was good, The damage for leech gems and botch gems was a little weird.

When looking through the roster page its hard to separate Gunter from Cody, the look similar. I would really like to see the showdown coin promoters working, it would give people a chance to get a little higher.

Having Zombies in the first slow was okay with me given it is zombie month, but there did seem to be a lot of complaints about that. Maybe players just need to talent up a zombie ? We have had this Zombie month for years now. It should be obvious at this point.

  • pretty good event

the css were mostly "common" if you play previous event

the css of the tour matches were pretty good too

what i didnt like was changing the showdown energies to 12

    this makes grinding showdown harder

because 12 energys is 6 hours while 16 energys were 8 hours

to maximize grinding you are suppouse to ran out of energies once you are at 0 you have 8 hours of sleep (when the energies were cap at 16) and now you have 6 hours because you cap it to 12 energies

    thats pretty bad

Overall it was an alright event.

issue with zombie characters is that there’s a huge power gap. Some are good and some are just awful.

the better ones just being behind paywalls sucks.

some of the showdown points sucked because there’s so few options to get those points from.

never got zombie Gunther but maybe one day I shall. His character design is pretty cool. Hopefully I’ll get him one day. 🤷‍♂️

Fair contest, and a fair amount of shards for non spenders. I think coins rewards need to start being boosted some, it’s not really scaling to 6 star silver.

    Good event overall.

  • The gap between good zombies and freebies is huge. I found it hard to win multiple matches in a row because I don’t have the “pay to win” zombies. Had the requirement for zombies been on the tag partner it would have made it much more enjoyable.

  • Enjoyed this weekend contest but wish I had time to grind more to get the last milestone. I love zombie month! Everything about it (and Halloween)

Wish I did get enough to get ZGunther and looking forward to the rest of Zombie month!

  • Let's start with the fact that I didn't win it, but I would like to, but as always it doesn't happen, I can buy loot coins, do the tours, get to the milestones and nothing, this is common for me, the only time I play with the character it is in a test that comes in the 3rd week, the tours were difficult, because I don't have any good Zombie, only Dom who without his father as a trainer is not good, SD too, because he didn't have one Zombie to face the opponents, as equals, all also because of your demands, which had to have the Z in the first Slot, and of course because I didn't have the necessary Zs, I didn't close the SD, and I was left only 10k from Gunther's plate, but that's how it is, only a few manage to close the events, only those "chosen" ,I would really like it to come out for me, but I know you don't want it!
