How you got character with you & the next day you don't find it any more?

Few weeks ago, I got a gift of character Aleister black (fade of black I think) with ability to improve it to bronze complete 5 star, yet the next day I found out this character had been disappeared??

  It was a free trial so that's why he is no longer on your roster. But hopefully they'll have a similar event someday soon

  They released Aleister for everyone for a trial period during his release so that everyone got a chance to play with him before you could pull for him.
