Godfather All Aboard Contest

Pros: Some great rewards in the solo contest were available through playing and grinding through different game modes available. After hitting that point the price tag ROI was astronomical for “accessories”. Some of the feud bonus superstars have heavy saturation which gave a path for everyone to contribute in addition to TU for showboat/attitude.

Cons: The faction contest wasn’t maxed by a single faction. Despite sharing point values in advance and showing the impossibility, it was once again brushed aside as “we know what we’re doing, thanks for the feedback”. The rewards in the faction event were awful for the effort put forth and resources spent to even attain a little over the halfway point. With 5s meta here every single contest needs increased basic resources to keep up at a competitive level. Bonus tour points for godfather should have lasted until the event ended as it’s already limited time.

Positives- the month long points were at a reasonable level for most factions. The first half of the solo rewards (including the majority of shards for godfather) were also reasonable via the tour. It added some extremely limited value to the feud.

negative- by design this event was flawed. The solo was designed in such a way that the amount needed to be spent to max was much too extreme. Estimates put the price tag around 1000 dollars. Entirely too much for anyone out side they too .1 percent to even consider. The other major negative was by all appearances godfather was needed by approximately 70 percent of a faction I order to max the faction event which the main prize was godfather. If that large of a percentage already has him what is the point of sinking money ,time, and resources into an event ? A fuse? The steps necessary to max along with the prize seemed diametrically opposed to one another and as a result turn many people off to an event. This seemed like a reworked version of the Beth event that was celebrated by most. This version was a failure.

The solo contest was nice and allowed most players to get a good card at 4sg. While everyone may want superstars free giving the shards out in the loot in this manner while giving most out through the contest allowed those who didnt get it for free to spend a little bit to get the card. Doing this made some want to spend on the strap loot to make the card stronger. This was a win win as most wouldnt have even touched that loot if they did not have Godfather. The max milestone was a bit much of a stretch but can be adjusted in the future.

The faction contest was useless. There were no good rewards in it sans the final milestone and that wasnt attainable. Asking all 100 players to complete 150 matches each is unrealistic even at the top. This number needs to be lowered a bit and not weighed so heavily into the event. While you have a few hundred that can do the 150 matches, most cannot, especially with the solo feud contest going at the same time and requiring different superstars. The max milestone was way too far out of reach for anyone and should be adjusted in the future as well as the rewards in the milestones.

Pros: definitely gave people a chance to get godfather and a fuse up for Vince at 4SG.

Cons: unrealistic final milestone which was unachievable by any faction even having the required characters for.

Pros- solo contest wasn't bad rewards that were useful to some people.

cons-the faction contest was awful. Another contest that was unreachable even with spending. This should never happen but it does repeatedly. The change to feuds to encourage use of multiple characters for bonus points doesn't flow well with contests that require the use of the same characters over and over again to hit a target especially when 2 of the characters are awful and 1 is the main chase for the contest in the first place. The last 2 feuds using this has seen lower feud scores to make sure targets are hit.

Positives- Godfather was pretty easy to get for less than $100 if players were able to complete all of the event tours and collect 600+ shards from the reward bags in total. MLE points were attainable for most factions. Rewards in the Solo and Faction milestones were good for the most part.

Negative- The event overly focused on forced spending to achieve the top rewards and the cost was set to well beyond any reasonable amount for the rewards. The "chase" superstar for an event needs to stop being used as one of the required superstars for the same event. This makes no sense, especially when 1 of the tours is for said superstar and it filled with shards. This event was clearly a revamped Beth event that was considered to be one of the best event in a long time, and then changed to be mediocre.

The contest was great for the most part... People didnt have to spend a mortgage payment, but they did have to spend... That works for people, not just for scopely... The day of spending until you get a feature is over... VERY few players are going to do that. TO sustain growth and general content, this is how events should look. Unfortunately, once again, the execution of this event was laughable.

First off, the rewards are SO LACKLUSTER in the tours. You have continued to ignore that fact that the game has evolved yet the resources you provide have not. That is an awful business model, and again, not sustainable.

Secondly, there were so many factors in this event that you forced players to pick and choose whether to be selfish or not. How is that fun, or enjoyable for a player base?

Lastly, as others have said, how on earth did you make yet another event unachievable to max? How do you keep doing this? Is it a matter of horrible number crunching? Do you not yet realize that people arent going to spend on your BS offers anymore therefore wont be able to max an event? Is is straight up arrogance?? Really, what could be so hard about this? Figure it out!!!

Pro: Solo event was good for people who wanted Godfather. Didn’t have to spend that much.

Cons: the faction event milestones were insanely out of reach. Solo event was also way too expensive to get a strap and some medals.

Again I'm a bit late since most is already well documented but I think the single fact that no faction completed the faction event is itself the biggest feedback as far as how bad it was. The tours were fine and the solo was clearly a spend event as you couldn't even do half the points required for even if you already owned the guy.

    Overall a very unappreciated event.

On the other hand tho the solo feud event was pretty realistic and appreciated and with great rewards in milestones.
