Spinning Solo

** SPINNING SOLO EVENT**
I feel like we're forever getting further and further away from what the intent of Boss Battle was supposed to be, which was a game mode that requires cooperation from the members of your Faction, but doesn't require you to have a bunch of fringe spend-only characters to achieve the milestones. Further, it was somewhat designed as one mode that didn't require you to spend your entire weekend grinding to hit milestones. This most recent event not only featured milestones that were impossible to hit without access to multiple hard-to-get superstars, it also featured a lot of "grindy" ones that could only be hit if you had teammates who were willing to carry you to victory.
I get it. You guys want to promote the newest spend-to-achieve paradigm. I guess I'm just sleepy from another weekend spent desperately trying to achieve enough "weekend currency" to get something that makes the effort worthwhile. The term "the juice isn't worth the squeeze" comes readily to mind. I spend a moderate amount each month and had no chance of getting any of the top shard rewards. That meant I needed to take the coins in order to feel like I'd achieved something, but it gets me no closer to the milestones required to acquire those characters for future use.
It doesn't feel like Spinning Solo -- it feels like spinning my wheels.

I usually don’t do these but this event was kinda difficult considering the required css’s bossbattle was a PAIN. the prizewall was kinda good to be honest.

First thing to say is that Solo is a really well designed superstar, with great moves and nice animation.
The event was good but the points for winning battles and progressing seemed tougher to get than previous boss battles but I guess that could just be a roster/faction issue for me.
The cost of the shards was way too high compared to previous events but that is the main negative for me so overall I would say it was one of the better recent events.

hi everyone!
for me scopely need to increase superstars shards on rewards, finish every event 1200/1300 on 2000 it’s little bit frustrating … so I think 1500/1600 is fair finish for who made all achievements during the contest. Thanks

I enjoy the character he feels very powerful and the model is good too. It did feel intentionally more difficult to recruit him than most other characters. The tours were well balanced but I just don't see how an average player could afford anything other than coins on the prize wall. Very hard to get above milestone 10/15.
The boss battle star reqs were increased which I didn't love, having to make my dom 5sg from 5ss to complete Level 15. I would have preferred to do that during a TU or Coin Event which wasn't active on Day 1 of the boss battle. Being able to get all boss currency shards without spending IGC was nice. The bleed bonus damage was very satisfying.

Solo event was decent. I got some shards I really needed. However some milestones where ridiculous to achieve. Definitely more of a struggle than previous boss battles. Solo looks really good and I could use a little help in my male trickster section of my roster so it would be very nice to have him.

Loot is getting worse and worse, to the point that aliveness whale style spending isn't worth jack towards getting anything usefull, spending at this point is less worth it than throwing money into a garbage disposal

I got some good super stars but all of the super stars that i have r not the requiring superr stars like i need NWO HOF TED DIEBIASE and other requiring super stars for but all of the super stars that i need like Ted Dibiase i have but it's the wrong version i only have the regular version of him in the NWO and the requirement is the HOF version and other super stars

Negatives:
1) Reduction of points per boss currency...would rather not have to spend half my weekend on a game (which I didn't).
2) Prize wall was meh.
3) Still had a few connection issues in the boss battle itself.
Positives:
1) Love to see Solo in the game now.
2) Shard bags are always good.
3) Boss battle itself was challenging enough (probably on the easier side) but not too frustrating.

Overall it was a pretty enjoyable weekend event, the connection issues have been less and less common on recent Boss Battles and it was a doable challenge if you had the needed characters.
One thing I'd like to see an improvement is precisely regarding BB contest. For the first time it wasn't possible to max it unless you had all the bonus characters even if you did level 23 matches. In my case, for example, I missed on the last two milestones (the ones with Drew shards) as I didn't had Drew nor Umaga nor Solo.
As for the tours, I like that you're constantly changing the required superstars for doing it so we can all work on our rosters and not just use one character to clear it all. Like Ricochet, NXT one was required some weeks ago, then the Trickster one and now the Acro one. I like this variety as it keeps you thinking on new strategies and keeps the game fresh. Maybe that could also be done with Walter, for example, instead of only Gunther
Overall a nice weekend event, didn't got Solo but I didn't spend so getting to the bonus milestones of solo contest just from using CSS was really nice

The tours were pretty fair and the PW was fine I guess.
The characters is amazing and that might be the reason why it was really hard to even get shards for the guy but nothing new with the new guys in boss battle mode.
The thing that really put me off this weekend was the abilities of the bos battle. At level 23 you needed an exhaust, a hfo and and at least two guys that make a lot of purple.
So, if you didn't have a good guy that have any of the abilities mentioned in all four styles you were f***ed, because it became really difficult to carry one guy even with 3 ideal guys.
I can take almost everything this boss had but that it will hit you turn 2 like 15 million and if you had characters 6sb you were instakillled.

i really enjoy the event

I always enjoy Faction boss and this was just as fun. I had to grind a little this time due to missing a couple rare cards but that is expected. I do hope that you continue doing chest that also have CSS shards in it to get closer to cards I’m missing.
overall decent event

I love the new character. I did not care for the Boss Battle, it was tougher than usual and had freezing issues where you basically lost a whole turn on level 23. I didn't like the Loot not having shards available in it. I did see the loot you had for shards only, but I only seen 1 offer that had 1 coin in it. If there had been one that offered 3 of the coins I probably would have bought it. Overall this was a fun event. I understand with technology nothing will ever be perfect and glitches will happen. Thanks for the fun this past weekend!

Terrible loot.... mega pulls and not even guaranteed a feature card should never be a thing. There are people that spent at least $1000 and still didn't get solo.... also making the shards pulls portal exclusive was not good either. Many don't have access to portal. Faction boss grind was horrible... I had all but 3 needed cards and grinding 175 level 20s is not the answer. We play this game to enjoy it not as a job. That literally took people the entire weekend to complete.

The solo contest was good for overall (excluding boss competition contest) everyone it gave good resources, especially tier 5 fury medals and coins shards for those who maxed boss competition. the solo contest and tours were very likeable than other previous boss contest. I like the grinding aspect especially in feuds but not in boss as it requires whole faction to contribute in time and with the current meta to max boss contest we need to grind boss battles hard which is next to impossible due to various factors reasons.
Tours were Really easy this time a liked the tours portion it was free points for me and many others really felt good.
Boss competition boss battle contest and Sd contest are getting worse as it requires previous released cards to progress in the contest which is extremely hard either one have to get lucky or pull them from loots.
Loot pulls the odds are really odd I pulled 20 pulls maybe and all I got was 4sb and shards so please improve a Lil bit it's getting worse and worse 7 pull only nowadays only give freebie superstars from loot which is really annoying cause even spending won't guarantee us a new superstar
Prizewall is full of good stuff such as coins TPS tokens and shards of premium superstars buy the fact is one cannot even get anything good from the prizewall I for a fact reached around 10mil in solo but only had 8 or 9k medallions which made it impossible to buy shards of previous superstars and we require previous ss to progress it's only widening the gap in player base The dev team should really do something to satisfy every type of players I know they can do it
Overall it was really average event from every aspect event

This time reward is not good

So, im new to the game, but i try to give a good feedback:
I have no good superstar and it was nearly impossible to hit any milestone further than 5 (?) without spending money sadly. But the "free trial" was a nice gift tbh.
Had a few freezes in the Boss Event but i cant complain - just happened 2 to 3 times and no fight got abandoned.
The Flash Market with web coins was pretty overpowered and its kind of you that you did not change it back to rubies.
Overall a nice Event - I spent more time playing the game than usual.
Thank you

It was a great contest & very well put together.

1 of the best trials in a long while although I didn't get him during the tour and bb I'm glad I got the chance to see what he was like to play with now I'm striving to attain him I can actually say thanks for renewing my enjoyment in this game with solo

This was a well named event for Solo as the contest was all solo based with no faction portion (other than the actual battle itself). I think weekend events are more incentivised when attached to a faction event / milestones.
Solo as a character has now given me another trickster to strive for especially after unlocking a 50% gem defence belt!
The requirement to have more css for boss battle would limit some players if they haven’t previously spent however that’s the purpose of p2p content to gain an advantage.
Tours had a good variety of css with decent rewards.

The amount of points that were eligible from the tours were a reasonable amount of points without requiring pay to play milestones.
The level of difficult of the tours per bonus superstar were up to par and did not require for tons of resources to upgrade them to get the bonus points.
the prizewall payout to prize eligibility was a bit disproportionate. The coin and TP recourses required small amounts of coins which boosted my inventory greatly. The amount of coins needed for shard poster/belts and above were not attainable without payment
solo sika as the new character is something worth chasing and made the game better. It was not a reface off a prior character and it was not a move set that is common
i wish more events and new characters would take this format which are user friendly that are free to play or require minimal 5/10 dollars spending for extras.

Hello all:
I have to say the Faction Boss Battle had a decrease in the experience compared to previous versions.
The overall character is awesome. He is already a top trickster in the game.
Very versatile and tramp gems are really powerful.
Also great having a new moment. This is really a great upgrade for those characters.
The tours were good or similar to previous but the Cc were rough to a lot of people. It is sometimes good to grind.
The faction boss was good. Was stable but in my opinion was the reduce amount of bonus for FB coins. From 200 to 100 made a huge difference. Specially with the shards allocated in the final milestones
I based this comment in my personal experience. This Fb I got 1200 shards of Solo. Last FB I got 1500 of Drew, so the Cc were more exclusive and were less than previous Faction Boss
In general there is consistency but the decrease in coins and the rarity of the Cc made me stop playing with lot of hours remaining. Also beating the boss at level 23 should have a reward. This will allow players to continue playing instead of having this only at level 20
Thank you for your attention

I feel this has been one of the better trial characters. I have always felt that it should be a clear dominant player that adds true value to a roster. That hasn’t always been the case.
I feel that it has been much more possible to max the MLC this month. I was able to get the chase character last month, which helped a lot this month. I also purchased the $100 4 star package with the value prize wall. Although I do feel that those are closer in cost to what they used to be, and the “new” regular prize wall is much more expensive. I could be mistaken, not remembering the previous amounts. But it seems higher.
I am also surprised how difficult it seems to be getting Braun monster bomb shards after already acquiring him. In order to move him up to 5SG. But i I do agree it shouldn’t be easy.
I’ve also noticed that the characters needed in events and showdowns seem to be easier for the newer player to gain bonus points, I do appreciate that .
Overall I feel this has continued the trend of better MLCs the last few months. Thank you.

So to start I will say having the character as a trial is always a great way to build hype and give players a real life chance to see how the character runs for their own style of play.
Solo seems like a great addition to the game & really like the look of the new moment, both are positives.
The weekend contest itself was fun as faction boss always is. I will note that you need to pay attention to your timers when the event goes live as it went unnoticed for a long time that the solo boss competition timer initially ended before the faction boss itself so had to be corrected after I had it reported.
Cost of the prizewall did seem quite steep but given the error with the portal ruby market needing no webcoins I’m not surprised by this.
Overall this event was good for a boss weekend but more attention needs to be paid to detail still at times before launching events.

Solo is a great character. Hits well and plays fun. It was a good contest but the milestones were too unreachable. I maxed level 23 boss with all 4 slots, and couldn’t even reach the last 3 or 4 milestones in the faction boss contest. The solo contest was better in terms of milestones.
The prizewall was good in that I got a 6ss token and there’s a lot of cash up for grabs. I wish you could get shards for less medallions though.

Positives:
-Solo is a very good card and definitely packs a punch. In the current meta he is going to be quite dominating.
-Milestone rewards this time throughout the weekend seemed worth it. I was able to earn more coins, tokens etc than what I normally get so that’s a plus.
Negatives:
-Boss battle this time seemed a lot more grindy than what’s usually the case. The milestones were too spread apart and except a few bonus guys, all the others were quite hard to get to.
-Not specifically related to this particular event but there are a few characters that are repeatedly always in some shape or form included in the CSS category like the judgement day characters. I get the intent behind this but I would like to see a rotation of superstars when it comes to who’s in the bonus category.
-Most of the limited time tours only offered solo points for the events and no other complementary rewards like coins, TP or tokens. I would like the inclusion of atleast a few resources here and there for non heavy spenders. If everyone gets something from an event, then even F2P folks might get motivated to spend a few here and there.

I think the event was pretty good, u got pretty much of the shards and the event milestones was desent so not to hard to get, the loot was good but no solo for me this time but hälften way there by shards so not to bad

The trial was fun, and his tour was pretty easy. The Solo superstar himself is a pet good character to have. Faction boss was a bit challenging, but doable. The prize wall rewards weren’t all that great especially for the amount of medallions needed, and it was difficult to get them in the first place. And 100 points per faction boss coin made it a more painful grind than it needed to be. All in all though it was a decent event.
