Would be nice to have the offer put pack up so everyone can get it that didn't get it.

This is beyond a joke now. How do you mess up so consistently? The only fair thing to do is put the offer back up for everyone to get. This is YOUR mistake, and you can't blame the players for "taking advantage" of it. It's not as easy as just rolling it back, cause people spent money on this and you'd have to refund them, and we all know Scopely hates giving refunds.
Put the offer back up and own your mistakes. As mention before, you set the precedent with the 40 loot coins for $20 issue that has happened multiple times in the past.

put it back in the store or roll it back in the fairness of the game.

This is so tiresome now. Another massive mess. We went a while without any major issues but now we're back to having these issues every few days. Sometimes multiple major issues in a single week.
If you guys could act quickly, then it'd be easy to replace the offer with some AMAZING deal with a massive amount of currency that everybody would be happy to buy. My guess is this won't be resolved for a week or so with everyone getting more and more frustrated while we await communication.
Players who purchased should not be punished. Literally days ago people were basically told that they should take advantage of offers because they were allowed to buy 3 while others got 1. At the same time, this game should not be about getting online at reset and checking the store for which offers are wrong to gain some benefit. So, I think the only solution is to offer some kind of compensation package to everybody. Those who purchased the deal spent actual money, so they need to get the option of a refund or an alternative pack from the store.
Please, resolve this quickly. I also feel sorry for your CCs who got thrown out to promote your next event while most of the community wants answers about this issue.

I generally think that Scopley should refund the money to everyone that purchased this and then just send it out to everyone else who didn’t. It could be a BIG Xmas in July Xmas Gift to everyone.
Just my 2 cents worth on the subject.
With that being said, some form of compensation is definitely deserved for those that didn’t get to take advantage of this mess.

Make it fair to all those that didn't actually take advantage of the mistake, (as it was not our doing) and put the offer back up so that others can get the same opportunity!. Not only will it make everyone happy and not feel like they've been stitched up again lie in the past, but you still gain from the purchases, so it won't actually be a loss for you!.
Please fix the issue.

This is on par with the Piper incident. Allow everyone to pick one item same as then.

That would still leave the issue of long term profits, Goldberg is a coach that can push certain superstars to the next level and people would be willing to spend big for that kind of power, it doesn't actually benefit scopely all that much to make him attainable for $20 when there are whales out there who will still drop $2000 for him.

Don't have to say anything different form what others already said. "Preserve Fairness" this is on you.
Now on a different note ..Who is that guy who posted this offer? Please arrange counselling for your staff and get to know why these thing keep happening! Overburdened/ Underpaid staff? Or just incompetent Staff? Figure out yourself and by the time you figure get us what is right. Put the deal back again.

Bring it back or roll it back.

Only selected people can enjoy this offer?
Scopely is unfair.

These types of issues are becoming outright ridiculous and inexcusable at this point. Every time there is some "Portal Issue" a certain sub-set of the community is able to take advantage of the "error" and is able to obtain Milestone rewards, Contest Points, Leaderboard placing and rewards, etc.; along with new superstar cards and/or shards, superstar changing gears, plates, straps, etc.
Now with this new "error" this makes two Prize walls, in a very short time span, that have become compromised and resulted in multiple players clearing EVERYTHING out the Prize walls. These are very "expensive" and highly regarded rewards in said Prize walls. I do not particularly blame these people, as these "errors" are becoming normal and are not just simple mistakes anymore. No one will convince me otherwise that most of the people taking advantage of this aren't lurking at every daily Portal reset; just waiting, hoping for a "mistake" or "error" in their favor, because this has become the norm. Scopely does nothing to punish anyone taking advantage of the errors and/or remove anything "stolen" from the Prize wall. Most people are lucky, even with a bit of spending, that they can earn one of these valuable Prize wall rewards. Meanwhile, we have others who are able to claim EVERYTHING, multiple times, until the Prize wall is cleaned out completely!!!
This time, in my opinion, this "error" is way worse than the Piper Niven Event. There are many great items in this Prize wall, however this Prize wall is involving a very rare card with a great coaching ability in Goldberg AND the most powerful, game and roster changing coach in the game, Santa Hogan. With the ability to clear out the Prize wall, people can potentially take Santa Hogan to 6SS with ease as long as they have the TP and coins. Santa Hogan's coach ability changes EVERY superstar in the game. It doesn't change just one like a gear would, or a few like a Plate can, it makes EVERY superstar better.
This time allowing everyone to choose one item from the entire Prize wall is not enough fair "compensation". Either every player that took advantage is refunded their money, their account rolled back and everything taken from them OR put back the same exact offer to everyone that was not able to purchase this "error" originally. This should also not result in any changes to the "chances" of how many T-shirts you can get from each chest.
Mistakes happen, but this is not a one-time thing, it is becoming an embarrassingly normal part of the game.

As per usual, Gearoid knocks it out of the park.
It's kind of hilarious to me. Right at reset I do a quick scan of the store, lament to my faction that it's a second day in a row in a MAJOR spend event with no real even halfway decent options for purchases for spenders. I wanna do a mega to progress in the solo? I have to buy a mega. Straight up. No extra value. Nada. This was already a point I was planning on posting about in regards to the event, but it almost seems trivial now.
Not even ten minutes, I see someone post on Discord about this error upload, and within 3 minutes it's gone. But I see many, many people were able to jump on it. Which sure, good for them! I don't think anyone should be punished in this situation for YOUR mistake.
That being said, you've now just left everyone on the last day of this event with many more questions than answers. Are people going to be rolled back? How will that happen when people could easily acquire and then spend resources? Are you going to reduce people's "legitimate" inventory in the realm of shirts and Santa evo tokens? It wasn't that long ago that everyone's Nikki Cross cards were vanishing and when most people got them back, all their shards were gone. And in this situation, I know you all value Santa evo tokens at a MUCH higher premium than a MLC chase card, so to even have people run the risk of somehow losing their Santa tokens (again, on YOUR mistake) is an absolute joke.
And then on the other hand, what about the people that couldn't jump on the deal? Obviously the people that were lucky enough to snag it easily acquired an INSANE grip of resources that other people can't even come close to.
I know at the end of the day, there's absolutely going to be some party in this situation that isn't happy with the resolution. It's bound to happen and I personally understand that. But given all the implications of y'all addressing this and the fact that the event ends in half a day and no one knows what's going on, it's incredibly, incredibly defeating. Plus like people were saying, it was not even a week ago there was a bugged loot offer that you brought back in some capacity, so what makes this different? I know it's easy to say when you missed out "teehee yeah i'd buy 25k chests" but I don't really know what a reasonable middle ground is. It's just made this event a major feel bad. I was coming in today mentally figuring out if I could make a big push on this event to try and get my Santa as close to 6 star as I possibly could, and this whole thing and a lack of resolution makes me wonder if I should keep spending anything on this game or even really playing at all. It's a joke.

Getting $20 from 50,000 players is the same as getting $2000 from 500 players and I bet that more than 50,000 would buy the $20 offer and less than 500 would spend $2000 chasing Goldberg

Same BS different day.

This is a joke, just like this company is turning into. I dont blame yall for not answering anymore, id be embarrassed as hell to put this kind of product out there with my name on it. Couple this with an event just two days ago where you allowed an unnamed faction to rotate members for second place with no repercussion damaging the integrity of your contests and no acknowledgement has me second guessing if I will continue purchasing from this company anymore.
hope that qualifies to you as constructive criticism
3 -
At this point, give the players that didn’t get the deal, a million t-shirts. It’ll allow players to get 6 star silver tokens, gear, and resources. Everyone will be happy.
1 -
I think you have 2 choices:
- Get the offer up again for everyone.
- Give everyone 180mil shirts and refund the individuals that could take the offer.
You have damaged your mark by doing 2 major mistakes that only a few could take in a short time.
make up for it, or you will lose players and in the end; money.

I feel worried for this game

As it is impossible to remove the pw items that people spent this reward on... the only fair option here is to make this item available to purchase have again.
There is no other way to maintain fairness here, as others benefited greatly from this screw up

Yes put it back in the store or roll it back in the fairness of the game.

a lot of people are getting fed uP with this. We were told that an example was made out of piper Niven event but really it wasn’t. I don’t think you should put the offer up again. I don’t think you should even refund the people that bought it either. I think you should send us all the prizewall rewards for free as this not only lets everyone get on fair level ground but also discourages people from buying the glitch in the first place. Also most importantly for future hire someone extra who’s job it is is solely check everything is correct before things go uip

I would be pretty bummed out if I do not get at least the 4 star Goldberg from the prize wall out of this.

put the offer back up so that everybody can get the same opportunity!.

For a multi-million dollar company,I'm shocked at how many rookie technical mistakes your team continues to make.Take some of that money out from under your mattresses and hire some competent coders

Last week I paid $100 dollars for a 40 pull only to find out that the next day the same 40 pull was now worth $20 bucks and now this week something like this happens is it even about money anymore or more about wrestling maybe I have it backwards!?!
