Shotzi Weekly Tour Token Missing Early

Myself, as well as many of my friends/faction mates/other players have been invested out of the gate this MLC in chasing the 5s level for the new Shotzi in an effort to get the 100% strap on the prizewall. Given a five week MLC, I could reason as long as you got her 5s by the end of week 2, you'd be good to go!

After buying the 4s starter, raiding the prizewall, doing more auxiliary purchases, things looked good at the end of this weekend with the evo tokens from the SD event. Nice!

Thing is, the prizewall medallion for this week has disappeared after the 2pm CST reset today (Friday). At no point has there ever been an indication of a timer on these rewards as far as ANYONE has been able to tell. Even going back and looking at some streams of Champions players from this week, people playing the Shotzi tour, there was never any public timer of the rewards for winning with a 5s Shotzi.

I like to imagine if there was public knowledge of the the medallion going down at 2pm Friday, many people's playing and spending for this month so far would be very different, myself included.

There's a heavy, heavy frustration around at the lack of information or transparency in the matter. Many of us were excited to get to the 5s level this weekend in order to get the first medallion, and it feels like the rug got pulled out from under us at the last minute with no explanation. Would love to get some insight into this situation, and obviously, would really like to see that medallion put back where it should be.

I too was extremely disappointed to see that the token had already been removed without notice. I had similarly bought packs and other items so I would be able to take the character 5s this weekend to get the first token. If this had been communicated I would allocated resources very differently. A lack of clear communication about when tokens would be removed should not negatively impact players. Please clarify why the token has been removed and/or put it back so players have an opportunity to earn it.

I’m in the same boat. I was excited to get 1st token of 4 for 100% strap. Saw a previous stream and there was no timer or indicator stating it would leave. If this is the case definitely no point in getting pack just for half off prize wall. Getting Shotzi 5sb to get token was the driving force. A lower value pack holds the same weight if this incentive isn’t possible. The token should be put back. If it’s gonna be a limited offer there should be a timer and be stated in blog.

I actually considered doing the same thing and would've been extremely disappointed if the token went away before the tour ended for absolutely no reason as the tour resets on Monday. There seems to be no reason to have a 5 day token on a 7 day tour.

I did not spend 100 dollars on the 4SB Shotzi pack, because I wanted to see how players who purchased this would be treated.

I admit that when I thought players would get to 5SB with shotzi this weekend in time for four medallions and an ultimate acro female strap, plus the 50% discount, there was a pit of FOMO in my stomach wondering if I had made the right choice.

I clearly did - you can't even treat 100+ dollar spenders properly, let alone the small amounts I pay in a given week. Even if there is a resolution to this, know that trust in your product is at an all-time low. This team can't get out of its own way.

I bought the $99.99 Shotzi pro pack because I too was taken by the opportunity to get a nice acro strap for my female roster by getting 4 of those medallions to purchase it. The 1st weeks medallion did not surprisingly disappear early. I looked at the css medallion on the Shotzi tour and I saw no timer. Now the medallion is gone. Come on Scopely, do the right thing and put the medallion back on the Shotzi tour and have it disappear when the tour disappears. If you can't do right by the people who spend on this game then refund everyone's money who bought the pro pack. As long as mlc free character tours have been going on, there has been no timer on the weekly tours and the medallions don't disappear until that weekly tour disappears. Just make this easy and do the right thing Scopely. Nothing more to say. Just do right by the community Scopely and the sooner you fix this goof-up, the better for everyone in the wwe champions community!

When does this kind of stuff end. This is a supposed to be a fun game, and it continues to get more frustrating with this kind of stuff. You are literally making people want to spend less or worse just stop playing. The value you are giving this “virtual stuff” needs to be more realistic, and than you remove something players were actually spending for. I will never understand it. I get this is a business, but it is quite poorly run. I would never keep customers guessing in my store, everything is always upfront.

The two attached images are screenshots from a twitch stream this week.

The first screenshot does not depict a specific timer for the removal of the “css” portion for this tour.

The second image is the image of the overarching tour timer from Monday which shows that the tour expires the following Monday at reset.

The arbitrary removal of the token prior to the tour going down for the week is deceitful at best (if intentional). If unintentional, I hope that the people with the ability to have Shotzi 5* before the tours expiration are made whole and given the ability to obtain the token they’ve rightfully earned!

I am in same boat as well. This was my full intention of buying the 99 pass as it was 5 weeks and had an excellent shot at the strap on prizewall. Hopefully the right thing will be done and token will be put back on tour as well as an in game message when it has been reinstated

I think the here the proof is in the pudding

it is 100% not labelled as expiring early

for people who have spent considerable money and then checked that this tour is expiring on the following Monday it is considered a slap in the face and needs to investigated as a matter of urgency

personally, if this is not fixed, I will reconsider my spending habits and encourage others to do the same because personally I do not want to engage in a financial transaction. If the original information that is provided can be changed at all whim and can be considered for a refund
