Whoever thought it was a good idea to turn spring break zombie time into survival matches,should have their head examined and put on medical leave

We need a conversation about gaining new players & making them stay!
1) Zombie Springbreak23
Any new player that has started playing between Xmas & Today has absolutely no chance with the cards they’ve been given to complete the normal mode of the tour without HEAVILY HEAVILY upgrading 2 tier C cards that are pretty useless.
Surviving 20 rounds & especially vs Man Kind.
Any sane game developer would aim to increase their game with new players on daily basis, I doubt this is happening.
The game decisions that have been made recently seriously lack thought to 90% of the player base!

The Game Designer missed an opportunity to create a more immersive and rewarding experience by implementing staggered difficulty levels in this event. By making Normal difficulty 10 turns, Hard difficulty 15 turns, and Hell difficulty 20 turns, players would have felt a sense of progression in difficulty and a greater sense of accomplishment upon succeeding.
Currently, the tour feels repetitive, with a generic 20-match structure on each node that offers little payoff for winning. This can lead to player disengagement, particularly when survival matches are involved. It's important to remember that a game mode that isn't fun may deter players from engaging, potentially leading to negative outcomes for future events.
While it's possible that the intention was to make all nodes grindy, it doesn't mean that they can't be enjoyable. The final nodes of each tour could have been survival matches, while the nodes leading up to it could have included matches where specialty gems randomly spawn on the board or vice versa. This would have added variety and spice to the gameplay, making it more engaging and enjoyable for the players.

Tours:
I get that survival matches fit the whole zombie theme but I'm not sure I've ever met anyone who actually enjoys playing them.
Knowing that I have to do 20 full turns makes me not even want to do the event at all. It's even worse that I'm doing that many turns on every difficulty level.
Edit to add a small positive - I'm sure it would have taken me more than 20 turns to beat that 6 star on hell mode with zombie Austin. That's it, that's literally all I can say positive.
Blitz:
I've accepted the fact that I'm never going to be able to do a hard or hell mode blitz ever again because I don't have all the special characters.
What I don't appreciate you clogging up my inventory with blitz tickets for hard and then requiring me to need rare characters to do it. I only have 2 of the required 4 people so those tickets are going to sit in my inventory and do nothing.
Faction Contest:
Please stop making upgrades the only way to score faction points. My lowest zombie is 4SS so even spending the coins and tp to level them to 4sg does very little to help my faction.
Loot:
It's a zombie contest, it would be nice if I only pulled zombies from the loot. That might at least give me a better chance to obtain some of these rare characters.
Prize Wall:
Per the usual, most of what I would want is going to be unreachable unless I already have the top characters and spend money. At least I feel getting the final 45 shards I need for zRhea feels realistic.
Also, the outfits that you are so proudly displaying as prizes. I have none of those people so I don't care about the outfits.

Another big disappointment with Spring Outbreak 2023.
Hard blitz that's not playable for most of the players in my faction. Disappointing. I have 3 of the 4. zTaker is 4 years old, and he's no longer relevant. Who cares.....Disappointing
20 rounds of survival x3 for each tour! My God! All that for a loot box with 15 sharts.... why don't you put a reward in to make it worthwhile. Beyond Disappointing.....lame waste of time..the opposite of fun.
Normal blitz is 1500 points per win...... after 100 matches and hours of your time you can get halfway between milestone 7 and 8, four away from even a bronze box. WOW! That sounds like fun! What great challenges and rewards, your so creative!!
I took a break from this game for 2 years and I'm feeling lately like its time to delete it again. I got back into it because it seemed they treated thier players better and you could move ahead. I was wrong. The only truth is that Scopley, in there infinite greed, time and time again rape the players.
This game is run by call center scammers. That's why it dropped from a role playing genre to a "carnival ". Its a scam run by thrives. The Spring Break 2023 shows how little they respect thier players.

Like many others have said the 20 turn survival matches are excessive. Maybe 20 turns on Hell but not Normal and Hard. Also the rewards for completing said tours are lackluster.

I think the big problem for me is the blitz. Normal isn't worth doing because there aren't enough points to matter. Hard is impossible due to character requirements. Why do I want to earn blitz tickets that I can't use for anything?
Way too many character specific tours across the whole game so far this year. I really hope that trend stops soon.

The Zombies are some of my favorite characters and their event were my favorite once upon a time but sadly those days are far gone never to return. I have been playing since just after launch and I actually still don't have The Texas Revenant. Yes I could have "Purchased" him several times but you would think that after 7 years I would have acquired the measley little 80 shards it takes to recruit him but no.
That brings me to the blitzes. They are almost pointless now as so many on this thread have already stated. You lock us out of the hard mode unless we mark out to the carnival type odds for pulls to aquire "required" stars. As I've mentioned, after playing for 7 years, you would think that I would have at least acquired close to enough shards to be tempted into purchasing the rest. Not even close. In my opinion The Texas Revenant should be a free card at this point. Along with The People's Chomp & The Undisputed Fiend.
On to the survival matches.
Did you guys accidentally set them all to 20 rounds and leave them there or was this really the intended game play originally thought up? Because it seems to me like you know most of us have zero chance of going 20 rounds with the rosters we have. There's literally people playing with 6* required maxed out stars that are having to pay to finish the matches. If that isn't shenanigans I don't know what is!
You have to do something for free to play and low spending players to feel like we matter. Like we have a chance to compete based on effort and skill. Separate us from the whales. Give the top 3-5 factions their own dedicated server and let the rest of us actually compete rather than continue doing the same thing over and over each month hoping for better results. Literally the definition of insanity!

this event has been great. Loved the rewards. Great prizewall. Love the new gears. I got lucky (and spent more than I normally do), but got some new like Zombianca and zDragon. Got zBianca’s strap and a strap for zRey. Had I gotten zRey’s gear, this would have been the best event I’ve ever done in terms of rewards. Was super fun, too. More like this. Maybe for a MOTU event :-).

A 20 round survival is too much. Especially with the zombies. I got through 15 rounds one time and the game froze. Sank so much time into it I didn’t even try it again.

Would like to see different superstars in different loots. Most superstars are repeated in loots which makes the loot opening less fun than it should be. Also the keys could be increased in daily contests
