The Demon of Judgment Showdown Scrimmage

Feedback for SD Scrimmage Event
Positives
- Adding Medal Bits and Star fragments to Prize wall.
- Although tours were restricted I'm glad most of the rewards were faction so atleast I'm not screwed out of solo points.
Negatives
- As nice as the new addition to the prizewall, it doesn't feel rewarding after grinding out the SD.
- I spent close to 10m in coins just to refresh and look for the opponents I'd like to face to get my CSS requirements done. What a waste of coins when I could have used that to improve my roster. Please consider removing the coins cost for refreshing, this should not be charged at all. If you want to charge then consider making it tiered base so we're not only facing walls of 6stars and their OP plates, etc.
- Really starting to hate the number of ridiculously hard opponents you put up but yet you want us to use B and C tiered characters thereby making us spend our resources on characters we will never use until you put out these types of CSS requirements.
Suggestion
I dont mind you making tours hard but atleast make the requirements only limited to Era or Classes so atleast we can fight fire with fire but rather you want us to fight fire with gasoline and that's just utter painful having us drain our resources for that.
As I said in the past I thought when SD scrimmage was first introduced it was a great SD event but now it's just another event where even if you finished 21/25 milestones, you're not even close to recruiting the character and got nothing new to show for other than your time invested unless we spent 300-400 dollars out of our pockets.

I’ve always found showdown contests to be good. This one was no different. I like the grind of having to earn your 30000 showdown coins, then also complete the daily showdown coins. It creates the want to complete everything to max the milestones. The only issue with the showdown is lately it seems as though the bonus characters have been ones many don’t have. This one was no different. It is what it is and you just grind all you can.
In regards to the milestones. It’s been a long time where hard work and grinding would help you max contests. Now the only way to max is to spend anywhere between $200-300. And if you decide to spend that you have a guaranteed chance at the judgement day balor. However, in the blog I believe it said we could earn balor guaranteed. There was no mention of spending money to do so…but at this point it’s implied.
Lets break down spending $99.99 for 40 pulls. If you’re lucky, you may see 1 to 2 cards you don’t own. You get a guaranteed card (almost never the chase). Mostly you get the same shards of people you already have. Yes there are some that get super lucky with single pulls and pulled the chase….kudos to them. That’s some awesome luck.
Honestly, the best thing that could happen is to get rid of the paywall. It puts a hinder on every event. There are some that can afford to spend month in and month out and they have a top roster, all the new superstars, all the plates…what about the people who can’t afford to spend a lot each month? It kind of feels like it’s a “better luck next time” scenario. For me I’ll spend to get the faction feud and boss battle perks at the end of the month. At times I’ll spend more knowing I won’t get anything I’m looking for. I guess it’s just that small hope of getting something better.

The tour requirements are too much. How many have a Finn Balor strong enough to beat a stopped up 5sg? Making so many milestones makes the game no fun to play. The hours spent trying to reach milestones leads to nothing.
The rewards in the tour were not good. 100 monthly contest points for winning the 1st match in hard mode is insulting, considering it takes 500,000 to make the mlc.
There are not nearly enough of the prize wall coins given out as rewards. Again, time spent vs rewards was just not very good.

I don't even have anything to put here as an opener. I'm just tired.
- Enough medallions to get some shards and some Butch shards actually inside the free milestones. Honestly that's probably above average for what we get nowadays, but something about it still feels a bit off - maybe the solo contest and key counts? Shards in general are still below what I would imagine for a scrimmage event (at least, the first ~10 or so which were still actually good) but probably about average for the modern day scrimmage event.
- A small reprieve from the awful tours of the last week or two, though that Finn tour is the epitome of 'not okay' - I'm already getting sick of having to comb everywhere to find the new and exciting way to cheese some cracked-out character with a five-year-old poster, and I'm especially sick of every other character having an escape artist plate (this is commentary bleeding over to this week's challenge tour). If you're just going to set up characters so that they completely counter certain play styles, why should I bother with that character? Why have control-based characters in the game if they're just going to get neutered? Are you going to provide more strap parts going forward considering you're now expecting me to build a new strap from scratch every time a tour comes out? As it is, you've taken a chore and made it more difficult in order to either leech more resources from people, or to drive the point home that these matches aren't for fun, they're an obligation.
- Showdown was definitely showdown, except I had several points where I went into the notoriety treadmill, losing points as quickly as I was gaining them. Considering the weekend coin reward completely makes or breaks your event progress, I'd really appreciate some sort of notoriety loss cooldown of, like, five minutes. Showdown is still the best weekend event in that it's likely the least intensive in terms of a required roster (tag matches mean you can usually have your second doing requirements while you move up the ranks) and it's the singular event where you are the only person getting in the way of your solo progress, but it's still the Road to Glory of weekend events - simple and consistent, but time consuming and boring as all hell after a while.
- Prize wall I was mixed on - I didn't find myself looking at the wall and thinking 'I guess I'll just take coins' with the medallions I had, and I'm glad the star fragments made their return, but the poster and plate were still way too high considering how expensive it was to get the required medallions, and the shard stock for former Scrimmage guys is still completely barebones.
- A separate point given the state of the Showdown Scrimmage: I recall early in the Scrimmage events you could reliably catch up on Scrimmage characters if you worked hard enough (or spent a little bit), and the characters on offer were great for keeping one's head above water in the ever-progressing powercreep. Now, I guess I can still get those characters eventually, but the shards are so sparse I'll maybe see 50 to 100 shards for a specific character every four months, and one is usually 400-600 shards short by the time the event's done so I guess I'll get them two years from now when they're significantly less useful - assuming the shards aren't priced out of my price range, which if they are that's even more time on the clock. Now, they're basically just pull or bust, like every other event where that's a terrible proposition due to some evil loots and typically weak offers.

I actually liked the event that just passed it was challenging but enjoyable. Wish I had spent less to obtain Finn but that’s the cost to be the boss. Keep up the good work guys.

The showdown contest was fair. I enjoy when it’s the 30000 limit as there’s plenty of points to earn towards the contest over two days, plus the weekly showdown coin bonus. For most players there’s no opportunity to earn enough medallions to get anything useful from the prize wall, plus the tours make the characters really hard to bear with the additional straps/medals/plates they have on.

Overall, I thought it was fine. I'm a big Balor mark, so a new in-game version of him did convince me to spend a bit of money. So well done for that on your end, I guess lol. (for the record, I didn't get him haha)
The event was pretty much what is expected of a showdown event these days, though my one piece of feedback/criticism would be that I only had one character who was good for bonus points. I think it would be more fun to have less restrictive character requirements, even if that translates into more matches being required.

A very strange contest: On the one hand, it seems like a good idea to get a character for coins, but on the other hand, only those who will get it by spinning packs can do it. Because you can get almost the top bonus reward only through a huge amount of infusion of money.
It was in theory a good idea to grind something, but again it was done that it was impossible to grind even on a golden chest, since you need to have a huge number of donated characters.
The number of event points in clan contests is very, very low, around 720 as far as I remember.
And in the end, we got the usual donation event, only with an even greater need to grind unnecessary matches. Yes, even with useless clan contests.
And why not mention the useless wall of prizes for tokens, where not everyone can even buy shards and for some reason the cost of stars is different, plus the usual sd bugs. In total, it turns out that this event is even worse than usual, since an ordinary player practically does not receive anything, only another p2w.

Remember the July showdown event where we would get Davey Boy Smith as long as we kept playing? This should be an incentive for all of us to keep playing.
Please loosen requirements for all tours. It feels like only a certain amount of priviledged few can get the rewards !

I've been playing the game every day for almost 6 years (2153 consecutive days) spent a lot of cash over those years, with a 3.3m roster of 317 wrestlers and still couldn't play most of it. The only showdown bonus I could get was the one for Finn.
The events are getting harder faster than we can improve our guys. Chase characters are near impossible to get without spending a week's salary on pulls. Every MLC character is someone naff, forcing us to use tons of resources to finish tours (hell needs a 6* every time) my faction maxxed the event & I still only ended up with 6k of wall coins, only enough for some medal parts and a few million coin.
This month was meant to be a celebration of the game and it's players. A 6 year birthday party with fun for all, but it's just sliding back towards character specific tours like it did a couple of years ago and you saw your numbers start to decline. I remember you did some pulls a number of years back where they were $1.99 each or similar and tons of people bought them. You probably made more off that at $2 selling 100,000 than selling 1,000 at $100
You could make the game a lot more affordable and still make the same, if not more profit

Scrimmage showboat contest is always good.
Finn Balor great new showboat character. Solo contest showboat, modern, and any finn everyone should have. I got at least 2 bonus milestone's for free.
Limited time tours requirements can be better. I like that any finn hell mode tour didn't have metals.
Prize wall rewards was amazing I lke that metal bits, plenty of coins and star fragments were available.

So I liked the event for the characters
I like how you used older versions of finn for the tour and showdown. Keep that up.
Issues:
1 No 5 star tokens
2 Seeing a habit of impossible to get characters as the only one you can get extra points for
FIX : You can offset by rewarding longtime active players more
3 Reward active longtime players more
4 Increase odds for getting the event character
5 announce who wins this giveaway, I'm 0/100 and I would like to know someone is winning

And to prove my criticism... the game has been barely playable for several hours. Reaction from Scop? None again! finally do your job. Any small developer can do it, just not you.

I can not remember when last time i have got a top tier player. Before it was better at least everyone used to get some top tier players. Now im just playing as a dumb. No feelings and almost losing interest to play. Even the monthly event also getting hard. last few event could not even reach 40th milestone, where i have participated all the events. And now a days limited time tours are getting ridiculous. Coins, Tp’s are hard to get. Please make it bit easier to get. Otherwise it will be difficult to play for us.

One more event, it's always an expectation if we'll get the new character of the weekend, some yes some no, I haven't been lucky in years to win the event character, but that's ok, this weekend, for me, it was bad, on the SD I noticed that I didn't have to spend coins like in the other ones, to be able to find fighters of my level, but beyond 1000 points, things start getting much more difficult just fighters with everything loaded, perks, plates and everything else, I think which could increase the values of the prizewall coins, unfortunately only spending what you can achieve, for many of us it is almost impossible, could put us a plate, more accessible, for those who play in free, about when the defense loses, those unrealistic values, for me it didn't happen anymore, before I won one was 15 points, then I lost was more than 50 points deducted, the AI cheats Too much cheating, always matches for her, moves that sometimes don't load when you combine jewels and worst of all the extremely sensitive board for us, while not for the AI, too many cascades Loaded the moves, and ends up detonating us, it's been like this for a long time, about the new character, I thought the gameplay was cool, I would like to have him, but it wasn't this time, as I always say help in Scopely 😍😘
