Showdown invisibility

For the last couple of years the vast majority of the community have been invisible during showdown events. This means no matter what they have set as their defence, no matter how active they are, they will never/hardly show up as an option to be attacked.

this has been a huge gripe amongst players who are always experiencing this, it takes away any incentive to continue playing the showdown event once you’ve cleared the CSS tasks and maxed the available coins.

For the players fortunate enough to fall into the ‘bucket’ as we call it, they can leisurely play the game and rack up an obscene amount of extra points at zero cost. This is through no fault of their own, it’s down to something in the coding.

the players in the bucket will show up constantly as options for you to face. Even on a refresh you can see the same opponents.

as a big grinder in this game it’s vest discouraging every time I see a showdown event because I know I can only get so far with no other options but to spend whilst other players are cleaning up for free.

for the past 6 months of being invisible, showdown has become a throw away event for me. No desire to spend any money or continue playing beyond the CSS I happen to have. There’s no level playing field in the event, if you’re lucky you’re in the bucket you can pretty much max the event for free. Unfortunately for most of us this is a hated game mode that used to be so much better years ago when grinding meant something and you’d be rewarded for doing so.

I experience the same thing, in a consistent top 5 faction I am happy for my mates who are consistently found and able to advance further in the contests than myself, but at the same time it gets frustrating. This event alone I obtained the featured superstar on day 1 (750k bonus) and will still end up 500k short of maxing the event because of not having a chance of earning any points defensively in SD.

Glad this exists. It is absolutely unfair that some people get to benefit from defensive wins and others have no chance because they are invisible.

Please fix this for the majority who suffer every event.

I concur with the last 2 comments I got the featured Balor on say 1 and still won't max. And to add another thing they require too many HP to heal guys especially in SD where you use a lot more. And u guys don't add them in events like you used to do we can replenish that needs fixed as well. As make it more even across the board I understand you have your "baby factions" that you const6take care of but this is supposed to be fun for everyone and a chance at special items like the plate through grinding etc not just hand it to you baby faction

Pretty unfair that some people are seen and others aren’t. The only way for me to hit milestones is to spend a ton of money while others sit back and rack up defensive wins. This needs to be fixed and compensated.

The only time I am attacked is if someone I've beaten has decided to revenge me. It is not for lack of playing, I've actively played for hours and not been attacked. Set my defense very low and not been attacked. I have a few friends I see very often as options to attack. I have other friends I can not recall ever seeing in SD. Uncapped SD coin point methods only benefit a limited amount of the player base. It seems like this issue is not something that will be fixed anytime soon, so Instead of making SD coins unlimited, maybe add an amount of points per SD win. Give a more level playing field.

Same issue for me and almost everyone in my faction i never get attacked even with low defense, while i see some other players names over and over no matter how much i refresh my opponents

Same issue for me i can play all weekend and get hit 5 times i see dudes getting hit 5 times every 10 mins. I have literally had enough of SD now to the point i just done care i take what i can and run. Move onto next event. Help my team mates and watch the football.

I even attacked people and message them and im not even in their logs im a ghost. I have raised countless tickets lets hope we can finally get something done about this although i dont hold out much hope.

Didn't realise this was a thing however I barely get attacked at all...I see my fellow faction members but they've never seen me in SD events ever

I was only found and attacked 6x this whole showdown and 3 were revenge.

If anyone sees me some defensive wins are appreciated🤩 thank you as I will do the same.

I experience the same issue posted above by james843556. I almost never get defensive wins, 6 this entire event. I attacked the same person twice today. When I won the match, I never showed up in his defense logs. When I lost the match, I did show up in his defense logs. He has never seen me come to be attacked but I see him in about half my refreshes.

I'm glad this defensive win feature exists and allows some teammates to max the event. But it really sucks that the same feature is not available to all of us.

Maxed day one and 2 and all the required css i had. I had one defensive win and only because the opponent lost clean to my team. Been playing this game since day one and in a consistent top 10 faction, facing the upper echelon of opponents. We deserve a little better than being dropped into an “invisible” server. Showdown needs fixing. Rewards in the last events this month have been lackluster at best. You’re moving this game in the wrong direction for the players who play consistently and competitively and spending good money.

Just to add to this here’s an example of a fortunate faction mate who could benefit from this. Look at the timings of the gifted wins from the same faction mate. Every other minute! Now imagine this on a grand scale, even if 30 players have said person as an option to face and they all give him a win every other minute. That’s an insane amount of points for doing next to nothing.
