lately I've been appreciating the game, new characters that expand the choice.
I would just advise making some rewards a little easier to achieve because sometimes, especially for those who don't have a strong enough roster or don't have very few PCs, they are a mirage for most players
In my opinion it would be easier instead of requesting a PG in particular, it would be necessary to request either by ERA or by type

already a big red flag cant use beth in challenge mode any any finn ? The old finns have no chance at hell mode lol the only good out three we have is z finn and really lackluster , maybe loosen it up to modern requirements

Early feedback: Loose the requirements on the tours. Things are getting ridiculous lately and making the game very not fun to play.

Hello,
These current tour requirements are slipping to back to what they used to be, and made the game no fun to play. Perfect example is the Finn Balor Tour where you need a Balor to just participate. I though you were not going to do this anymore as you stated 2 years ago. That tour should be any Modern Era Superstar and get the extra bonus for having a Balor Superstar, not have a Balor Superstar to get all the bonuses.
I am getting the feeling that this game is slipping back to not be a player friendly game and more of a spend only game. That is not good for the player base as a whole and if rewards were easier to get like a year ago things would be more fun for everyone. You do get more revenue when multiple people pay $20 instead of a handful that pay $1,000.
Thank you

Yeah, I started struggling on the end of hard actually. Your absolutely right

I'm noticing the same, and I speak to other faction mates who agree. Well said

Restrictions on specific types of characters to use is becoming difficult to take part in events. I'm seeing less and less open challenges. I've worked hard on my wrestlemania Rey Mysterio, he is strong in fueds and showdown but never seem to be able to use him in events

I sincerely hope this and the recent midweek event are not a signal that 2023 is marking a return to mostly character specific tours. There is no place in this game for that.
1 -
You guys need to change showdown up. It is ot very time friendly for most players. 5 hours to get above 1400 notoriety is just a joke now. The point system sucks and you get attacked way to much.
0 -
I didn't really see anything overly positive or negative about the event. Very similar to every other showdown event. There's the component that's available to those that don't spend as well as the part for those that do.

I've been playing this game since it came out and even though sometimes the events ask for many requirements that I don't have, I keep playing this game because I really like wwe, that's why I suggest that f2p players like me should be given more chances have a better experience in the events of the weekend and that the fighter requirements are not as demanding

You guys really have ruined this game with the 6*. It is absolutely fucking ridiculous that I'm at 1477 notoriety 2 hours before reset and I drop below 1400 in those two hours. The notoriety you get does not scale very vell against 6* for the amount on time e you spend. 50 points average for a win this should be a lot higher. It's bullshit I put almost as much time into this fucking showdown as I do fueding and I still could not stay above 1400. As soon as you fucking win a match you have already dropped 20 points cause you have lost 2 matches defensivly before I can finish 1 match. You need to severely overhaul this showdown. This use to be one of the better parts of this game and you have managed to fuck this up.

Risk vs reward is very low. This event is a pay to win and play event just like the game is becoming. Loot pulls are throttled down based on roster. And before you say that it’s not, realize that most of us see what’s really going on. When you have a range of 5* to 6* and only get 5-20 shards, that’s not what you’re advertising. Also requiring Finn for one tour when we all know that he sucks, is not something we look forward to. Having to level up wrestlers that we don’t use, and not getting those resources back are why people stop playing. Showdown scoring system is screwed up still, and you gave out more points for a shitty Finn than you did for other bonus characters that you hide behind a paywall 10 feet of concrete thick. No matter how much we grind on these events, we can’t get the new stars that are op for everyone with shallow pockets and accounts. Rewards need to be raised for us players keeping your company going.

Huge let down during the second biggest month of the year.
Event grade F
Tours Hell mode was ridiculously difficult this time. It was making people wanting to quit the game. Miz and lesnar were a little overboard this time.
Change the blog from top Faction to Woken already for free plate. You’re not making the game competitive enough once again by only feeding the top 100 players in Woken. When ever people read the blog and see that, it’s a huge let down. Make it for the Top 5 factions to make the game more competitive instead of feeding only power into 1 faction. It will take time to notice the change but over 5 months you’ll see a difference.
The biggest let down ever was having all the requirements and still not getting balor even after spending. Normally it’s if you have every requirement you can grab the contest star at a lower level or grind for him. We should not have to coordinate defense losses on the Unofficial FB group to bypass and exploit the game. He’s a tier A character and you gave away riddle during a SD. This was suppose to celebrate players and scopely having a great working relationship month. Not another scopely regular month of only getting the chase and free MLC guys/gals.
the experience this time was horrible. Playing all the matches basically removed the use for the promoters this time. Heck I gave up on even leveling SD promoters because they are useless. There’s no benefit on getting to the top level of notoriety fast.
I hate to say it, I enjoy feud more than SD at the moment. It pays out more resources, better chances at a character, and the Loot is better.
I was told the 2x speed for SD did not work from TH so I did not purchase it. Maybe fix it and introduce it for Free to test out a few times if you’re having trouble coding it. At least you will get feed back if there are glitches in it at all.
Ive been playing for almost 6 years and it makes me wonder if the game is head in the right direction or not. You basically hurt people from spending by not trying to offer Balor up for free. Because if people cannot get 1 character then what’s the point to even try for the next 2 when you stated in the blog 2/20 requires all 3 characters. Definitely has deterred people from a business aspect for the next week event unless you offer a free way to finalize balor up.
Showdown store is outdated. Some people have over 1 million SD coins saved because it’s useless. It needs to be revamped.
30000 coins is outdated today. You need to increase the amounts and set higher prices for bigger prizes in SD. Maybe add for example Karrion Kross for 500,000 SD coins. That way you force people to do a coin dump.
Separate the superstar contest out like in feud. Add more resources and maybe guaranteed shards for the character.
Overall Grade F. Not so much of a celebration or fun like it use to be.

This weekends event seemed a little meh! Great we get an achievable character in new Finn but the event needs more MLE points and of course more individual points for the weekend event! Showdown bonus characters were okay just not expected with the group that is the Judgement day! Should have used Priest as well and even Edge and the other Dom’s.

If you were easy to find in SD? Not so bad!
Otherwise? Woof!! Very bad!!
I'll start by saying that lately, I've been lucky to be easy to find in Showdown. Whether it be my faction mates or friends on other teams, I seem to be able to find enough coins to get the milestones and all that jazz. In that regard, coupled with a return to uncapped coins for event points (which I enjoy!) the event wasn't particularly hard to max with a little spending thrown in there.
But this is for everyone who isn't as lucky as me. Sooooooo many people are often voicing their complaints about being in or out of the "bucket". Many of these people I know are trying to play the game just as much as I do. And for what? They all seem to be invisible to everyone else and get no engagement in these events. When that's a recurring theme, what's the point? Why bother playing when you know every showdown weekend is gonna be another weekend of being a ghost? Obviously I have no idea how any of the matchmaking AI works, but it's so insanely frustrating to see my faction mates constantly getting ZERO engagement in these events. Meanwhile, I'm refreshing my matchup options in the game and getting the EXACT SAME THREE people I just refreshed to get away from. Make it make sense!!! Please!!!
Getting back to the event, the structure of this? Incredibly stinky. I understand that not every card should necessarily be accessible by maxing an event, but to get everything from tours, max solo, and still be like 100 shards short? For a SCRIMMAGE character? Why? I ended up taking the card off the prizewall and hoping the plate comes back around because I still want to have a shot of this blitz but it just does not feel good. If I could go back I would have frankly spent nothing on this event because I probably could have gotten Finn for free.
Just messy overall. And the Friday tour? Why make Finn required AND CSS? Stinky!
Did not enjoy. Please let everyone get a share of the bounty on Showdown weekends.

Solo Contest:
Overall, the contest was enjoyable, but there are a few areas that could be improved for next time. One issue was that the point requirements for the gold chest seemed too high, which made it difficult for many participants to reach. It may be helpful to adjust the point values for the next contest to better reflect the difficulty of the challenges. Additionally, the rewards for the contest were similar to those of previous contests, which was somewhat disappointing. It would be great to see some new and exciting rewards introduced in future contests to keep things fresh and engaging for participants.
Scrimmage Prize wall
The prize wall for the contest had some great options, but there are a few areas that could be improved for next time. On the positive side, there were plenty of coins available to buy a variety of prizes, which was nice to see. The addition of star fragments was also a good touch, as it gave players another way to earn rewards. However, it would have been great to see some new and unique rewards that were not available in previous contests. While some prizes were different, many were similar to those of previous contests. Additionally, it might have been better to offer strap bits instead of medal bits, as the former are in higher demand and could have added more value to the prize wall. Another suggestion would be to include some of the older scrimmage characters at lower coin values. This would not only add some more variety to the prize wall, but also give players a chance to get characters they may have missed out on in previous contests. Overall, the prize wall was good, but a few changes could make it even better for the next contest.
Tours
The tour matches for this contest were challenging, which was great, but there were a few areas that could have been improved to make it more enjoyable for all players. The Hell mode having a 6-star boss made it very difficult for players to obtain shard bags, which was frustrating for many. Offering strap bits on the prize wall could have helped with this issue, as players could have equipped the required characters with gem def straps to better tackle the boss. However, it was nice to see that the reward for winning such a hard match was a great character designed by the team, so I understand the reasoning behind the difficulty level. Still, it would have been better if some additional rewards were given for beating the hard match, such as extra solo contest points or other rewards. Overall, the tour matches were challenging, but with a few tweaks, they could be even more enjoyable for all players.

Balor looks great and it’s good to have a good version of him. Scrimmage continues to be a chore and a tease. There are never enough medallions for those who spend lightly.
Compared to the damaging “birthday event,” this was miles ahead.

The Showdown weekend was a big let down. Typically the chase for the SD weekends are usually easy to get than the others, but it seems like this month, the 6 year anniversary of the game so far has been more taxing on the wallet than actually having fun in the game.
The tours for this weekend’s event was atrocious. Having Balor as the character to use for an entire tour and Beth Phoenix as the CSS for the Rhea Ripley match was like pulling teeth. Had to get the faction mates and Mherex’s help on how to beat those matches and it caused serious problems with my low medal bits and strap parts to get Balor’s done. Having Brock strapless and medalless was the only saving grace to beating him with a 5sg Striker Balor with almost full armor. Having the tours a little less restrictive would feel better by me and most of the community members.
The solo event was the same as always, but wish there were more shard bags for Balor available in each bonus milestone of the event. I do not know why the shards has to be as tight as it is. I had most of the CSS, but for any player without promoters, 1 hit or turn characters, or just totally new to the game are going to struggle in all weekend events, even the MLC. It’s too time consuming for the average player. For me, I find different superstars and ways with trainers and coaches to get it done quickly.
The prizewall was a disappointment in some ways. It’s disappointing that getting the 3ss version of Balor was not possible without spending at least 300 dollars. The only saving grace of the prizewall this time were the star fragments that was obtainable. Also disappointing were the selection and amount of times you can get a character’s shards. Carmella, HoF HHH and Bret were easy to get and already have those. What about other 2k shard recruit superstars like Razor and Nakamura? Did you forget about those? Also it could be a perfect opportunity to put shard bags or guaranteed shards of Balor or Priest that was released as a way of getting closer to obtain or to obtain them. It’s a missed opportunity.
The faction event was a complete joke unless you are in Top Shelf Booty. I already knew once the plate was made available that Booty and Woken would be fighting to the death for 1st place like 2 Jaws going at it in sea for the delicious helpless human in the sea. Missed opportunity again to add some more shards of Priest or Balor. The chests are a complete joke… 10 shards of Acro Montez or Tech Dawkins or SB Miz?!? Very, very condescending and angry about those shards unless you pull a 4sb Tech Brock like some lucky people, it’s a complete bust and should be eliminated as a milestone reward until Scopely gets serious and ups the amount of shards you get or eliminate the shards all together and make it a 4s chest of more recent characters… no garbage, out of date, 6 year old characters!
The loot and offers were complete trash. The featured should really not have anything but the best, whether it’s shards or card, especially the featured character for the weekend. It should not have any of the past free characters in that spot like PH Otis. It was a slap in the face to pull that crappy character. Offers were a big disappointment as there were not as many prizewall coins than the last time to be able to get enough for 3ss Balor. To be fair, the blog did say how you were able to obtain the character in the prizewall, but it seem that subject to change language only works when Scopely sees fit. Could have done the offers a lot different, but felt like I got stiffed big time.
Overall, this event and the entire month feels like the Montreal Screwjob of 1997. I don’t know if it’s because Scopely thinks they can give us free stuff each week then turn around and make things overly expensive or almost impossible to obtain things in the event to make up giving things away or not. It’s always one step forward then 3 steps back in this game since I have been playing 5 years ago.

I was excited at the beginning of the week when I heard midweek was the 6 year birthday celebration tours and weekend event was showdown until the midweek tours and the weekend Finn Balor tour were released and it was very disappointing.
I do not mind grinding for showdown but the scoring needs to be redone. It is always a pain to try and get above the final notoriety milestone due to getting attacked every few minutes and losing 50+ points and only getting around 20 with promoters equipped and because you have to go against 6 stars it takes several minutes. It is also annoying when you spend coins to refresh your opponents you get the same ones over and over again.
As for the requirements for tours this week have been terrible starting with the midweek. Only being able to us 1 character on a tour and not a class or an era is no fun for the vast majority of the community. It’s even worse when the required super star for the tours are C tier that do not have useful training or coaching abilities so the resources you put into them are wasted and you have to go against actual good wrestlers.
It almost whoever was in charge of making the birthday celebration tours this week hate birthday celebrations. This whole week was not a fun week to play this game

Overall I think this event has been extremely disappointing, with each event I look at the needed SS and the likelihood of having them, Brock ROTB is a heavily paywalled character and giving an unbelievable amount of points for having him made this the first character in a long time that was a showdown character unattainable with minimal spending etc.
As has been mentioned by some on here, there are numerous tours locked out by very rare characters and those reward chests giving 10 shards are terrible and a slap in the face to long term players, the token prizes given are bad too nobody that has been playing over a year wants/needs 2/3 star tokens at all.
Balor as a character is cool, most of us wanted a balor that was good and not also heavily paywalled (Mutant Balor) so myself and others were happy to see he was a showdown character so would be attainable as usual, however, nope!
All in all, I’m glad for those that had the money to go crazy/get lucky with pulls but for the majority that rely on SD as the one new character (other than chase) they get each event - this one really hurt.
Likes:
- It was challenging to use a character like Balor who hasn’t got the strongest builds so that was nice for a change instead of the same old rinse and repeat with OP SS
- The amount of battles needed by the CSS was low and that is a great quality of life change for the players
- Even though it’s inaccessible for most the over-arching theme of Judgement Day (prizewall and blitz) is a cool new thing in game for a real-life faction.
Dislikes:
- Significantly disproportionate contest points for the ultra rare characters.
- Medallion prize-wall did not have tier 5 medals as usual. I guess some were happy with the star-fragments instead so that’s fair enough.
- Another faction event that you know only 1/2 factions ever had a shot at - (suggestion - just send an in game message to the faction that comes top rather than let everyone else be frustrated at no opportunity to get it)
- Another really cool character that most miss out on as a usable Balor is hard to find.
Thanks,
Max

The amount of battles required was a much larger time suck than previous showdown events. One of the positives of the showdown contest imo is being able to do it on your own time. But this one had a commitment to showdown that felt nearly unreasonable.

Well, this event seemed to be a regression from where we’ve been in previous showdown weekends.
1125 shards is extremely restrictive for a card that is decent at best. Are we withholding those shards for recruitment due to the pw/blitz?
The most despised part of these events for me is the fact that I am seemingly invisible during the entirety of the contest. And that there is nothing I can personally do to change that.
Instead of having defensive wins count towards the solo contest, can we make it something that is player dependent, like offensive wins?
The one shining spot on an otherwise lackluster contest was the prizewall for star frags. Keeping those moving forward would be a welcomed change for everyone!
3 -
I couldn’t agree more. I couldn’t even make it to the 1400 notoriety even with a page full of 5SGs. 6S has ruined the showdown.

Honestly I believe the requirements and contest superstars for not only the solo tours but for the showdowns should have been easier for more people to use seeing as not everyone has some if not most of the characters without spending a lot of money but also that like with the BB92 showdown you should be able to achieve the contest star, for every showdown moving forward, if you put in the work and grind instead of having to pay to even have a chance to get the character.

The event was really fun so far. It's just a pity that you have to cash a lot to get finn. but the prices were ok.
