This event is such a downer. Absolutely terrible requirements. I blew resources to level Shamrock to 5 star gold (not enough to take to 6 star) and its just laughable man. Very, very disappointing. Could've at least let the players have a choice of a few characters.

Why would you make a birthday celebration tour that is so difficult that experienced players have to expend massive resources just to win the first round? I had to spend millions to level up Madusa, Neidhart & Shamrock as well as tp and props, & still only won 2 of the 3 first round matches. Can't go any further & not worth trying again.
Worst tour you've had in quite a while.

A birthday event has to be like a happy give away event for all that what first thing comes in mind when u hear BIRTHDAY but rather than let it be a happy give away ull have turned it to a sad angry amd waste event....could have an event for all rather dan being pay to player..u cant make every event pay to play please make events free to play also

agreed , ss req. really a downer in this challenge match, mayb free it up to era use , both shamrock and anvil really dont have the power with out props or upgrading alot

The “rewards” for this event are insulting and discouraging. Instead of celebrating how great the game (is) can be… it feels like a cash grab with insane requirements and VERY little reward.

you guys have to understand this is birthday celebration for "scopely" only not for us... lol ... whales will drop lots of money to them for celebration.

This is event is the reason why people leave this game often or take extended breaks, to have this "birthday celebration" so limited is laughable. On top of all this last week's midweek event was just as bad and just as limited so basically you've made this game essentially only worth playing on weekend. That's if you actually put out events out that are playable and even that has been getting worse and worse ... Absolutely terrible "birthday gift" to the players of this game to insult us with this trash event and unobtainable goals ... Maybe the weekend will be better. February has been the worse month this game has had in awhile extremely disappointing

I am so sick and tired if this game being aimed for the spender it sicking that most player lose out on reward because most tour r unbeatable for most players that can't afford to spend for top guys this game use to be fun to play but now it how much money can we suck out of the top players and leave they low end player even farther behind make the game fair for everyone or your going to keep losing players

I personally think the talent up options are a little silly, most notably Blayze, where many people have her after her release and worked her up to a point where doing 11k talent up is....impossible.

Thank you for the beautiful midweek event. Unfortunately, I don't have any of the required characters, excluding the C tier, who will never get to win even in the normal mode!

Very disappointed in the thought process behind this event. Obviously just a $$ only sign up. Characters that most dont have, or dont have high enough to compete without spending to upgrade characters that are not wanted or even very good.
Supposed to be a birthday but there is nothing happy here. Why limit it so heavily to single characters? I hope you are going to listen to the feedback and actually make this right, as it is a bit of an insult to players who spend when they can.
Truly a bad day for this game community.

Might as well have made the tours require Ryback, Dudleys, and HOF Booker.

I been playing this game since the beta on iPhone and I can't play any of the birthday battles. It sucks I see my self opening the game less and less.

I saw the requirements, turned the game off and went to play another game.You guys are making it real easy to push me away with these constant terrible decisions

Wow horrible event made the charecters so tight and the can't even beat hard mode with some. Even some of that have played the game can't do these. If your trying to kill the game just do it all ready instead of this slow painfully way you seem to be headed.

I haven’t missed a day in several years on this game and yesterday I found myself with nothing to do due to this event. Take that for what it is worth to you, Scopely. Because that is the heart that is at stake… what is your player base worth to you? Think about all the meanings of that question. Because if you read it wrong… you miss us.

I mean for an anniversary month the giveaways and freebies are measley compared to most games i play. I mean we all know tours have been dummy runs for a long time and its great we now have to test ourselves. But in events like this you also need to think about the little guys and the new guys. I really hope the rest of the month gets better.
Also very little to do in game actuallu quite boring to be honest.

Probably one of the worst events in a long time that I can remember. Supposed to be a birthday “celebration “but now everyone is frustrated with the game. I hope day 2 is more enjoyable

I don't miss a day playing this game and get nothing for the birthday celebration other than a "oh hey you don't spend money on this sucks to be," tour. I couldn't do anything. I thought there would be more to the birthday celebration . More to celebrate. Mid week events sure have been lacking. I'm very disappointed with this "event" if you can call it that.

Happy birthday to who again ? Not the players . For someone that looks forward to mid week then this when I turn on phone see can’t play and go to a different game thanks.

All I see is the rich get richer and the poor gets the shaft... I mean look at the rewards...omg they are so awesome... but I don't have the characters to play nor after every other event any pxresources to level characters I will never use ... I have to worry about leveling ridge Holland 1st... I have never used shamrock or neidhardt and never will so why put tp and coin into them when the most I could possibly increase their talent will not net me 1 milestone... how about thinking of the littlean instead of increasing the top factions gameplay ....every smackdown event after 10 wins you have to face the toughest characters in game and you have to pay to refresh and refresh over and over till you can find someone you can beat but since I'm only given the same 12 people to fight...different same same characters being used..like last SD event it was hof Andre with black plate and either Lita or hof Chyna is all I ever faced..

So lets break it down i suppose.
Tours, before new ones drop but know the css.
The tours required superstars for the opponent we are facing are terrible as sin and that's before we even get to the Ronda and Brock tours.
Talent up.
The talent up portion of this event is so stupid it's unreal especially Blayze because let's face it anyone who got her when she released has taken her to a point where 11k is impossible and does anyone really want to waste resources on striker Ken and anvil 🤮.
Rewards.
The rewards for this event are pretty terrible considering it's ment to be a birthday celebration there's nothing to celebrate with these rewards even the spend portion is not worth it, although you'll see lots of dollars from because some people just can't help themselves and you cater for them something stupid.
Now I'm not saying don't make money because you should but you need to find a middle ground where even the average spender feels like it's worth it which at this point it's not because they gain nothing from spending $20 to $40.

What happend to normal and hard mode having bonus rewards with characters you could actually get...oh no now all modes have to have God characters I dont have the 1st shard for so no way to complete mlc which use to have a tour almost ever day and now it's going to be over a week till we get a mlc tour... or to get mlc points its tied to faction event milestones where people to dont have the resources to level up xhara years cause where day is a level up character day not just during talent up at the 1st of the month which costs you $100 every 1st... I was and opioid addict for ten years and didn't have to spend as much as you have to do to make coin event of 36 mil everyday.. and don't get me started on how much tp you have to spend to max weekly event... I spending what 12-15k tp so much I lost count and you want your community to grow are you kidding me.. yes we live the game we watch twitch YouTube everyday to keep up with events its a full ti.e job ffs...keep up the good work scopely....sarcasm BTW

seems like the game is becoming more p2p. every event you need to have all the top tier posters to even have a chance at maxing the event or the mlc. you then go and put the mlc pts behind the rare css which then digs some a deeper hole that by the time the mlc is halfway done they are already saying screw it and looking to see how they are gonna get screwed the following event/mlc. Blogs are a weekly joke as we all know nothing on them stays the same, this mlc you took a new route and said we arent telling you the month long css so now instead of us building who we need we have to wait to find out and by then some wont have the resources to do it. like some have said previously this game is giving us more and more reason to not even sign in and thats even after playing this game for 6yrs straight.
only thing that was good in this event was if you had Blaze and were close to recruiting Rhonda you were able to do so.

I believe that because it is a commemorative event, it could be a more accessible event, not with so many difficulties, nor that the prizes were not good, and at least once we players win, at least effort to play and keep the game alive, and also a way to keep us motivated, as you gave us all the Farooq ApA, it was very nice of you, I didn't have it myself and I always wanted to,many of us spend a lot on the game, and every now and then a treat is good hahahaha

So day 2 in a row of having nothing to do ... That's now been 5 of the 9 days this month that there is nothing to do in this game for majority of people. What happened to the MLC tours they're used to be one every day or every other? Now your focus has seemed to shift to satisfy the top 1% and giving the middle finger to the rest of the 99%.

sad thing is this probably a portion of solo points for mlc so for anyone chasing hands are tie
