Too Cold to Hold Contest

Positive: LOTS of upgrade tokens for old HoF characters that will help new players get them up easier.

Negatives: Tour requirements seemed way more steep this time for new players, especially the disaster that was the tag team HoF tour. Making 5SGs the opponents for a hard tour, what were you thinking? Also, while I enjoyed the fact we got lots of resets for the showdown grind, the fact that it was impossible to max the showdown coins unless you got lucky with your defense winning really irked me the wrong way. Why make it like that? Let F2P players max their coins at least.

The contest overall has been OK! 8/10

Its always fun with a Hall of Fame superstar.

The feud has been a lot better, its been lagging by the end of the feud, but during the whole feud, it has been great.

I feel like the great part of the milestones can only be achieved by those who can afford to spend, those who cant afford it are the biggest losers because those with the better rosters are just being better because they get all the milestones vs those who are mainly f2p. They're growing in a faster pace than others.

New character:

Unbalanced, overbuffed. But at the same time it is impossible to get and pump. And that's a plus.

Wall of prizes: useless 5 and 4 star tokens, apparently it will not be possible to get three-star tokens in order to transfer x-pac to 5 stars.

Roads:

It is practically impossible to pass the first road of the challenge for free variations of Randy savage.

feuds:

A good spread of characters, but very few free ones. Pumped 6star characters in opponents with an unbalanced amount of HP. But at least a nice bonus for winning the Hall of fame era, which was very much awakened by the developers from the previous event.It is rather strange that for the game in the feud dedicated to the hall of fame were pieces of Veer. Which has nothing to do with the hall of fame at the moment and there were no roads that require it.

Results: having spent a fairly large amount of money, I still could not knock out the cherished character, which is very upsetting, but it also became a lesson for me.Don't pay for a pig in a poke. Only for solid characters or, at worst, for resources. For me, this event ended very positively, however, with so much resource injection, it should not have ended differently.I hope the next event will be friendlier to free players, or at least there will be an opportunity to buy worthy characters in their entirety, and not the next pieces. Or at least the costumes.

Good event overall.

Tours were balanced and doable even with contest superstars that are not completely maxed.

Challenge tour was a challenge but doable so it was good.

Feud was fun as always and the subevents were quite ok, Superstar event could be a bit more forgiving if you don’t have all of the rare cards.

Personally I liked the loots with guaranteed shards from the contest Superstar more if u decide to do a big pull , these loots nowadays just seem to be shard farming for old cards, barely anything new in there.

Overall the game is going in a good direction tho hopefully not with another hole in the future , more than often we had good starts and then got screwed again, at the moment tho I really enjoy playing.

Still unsure about the new HoF tokens so I won’t post an opinion yet.

Nova Chi

Something has to change to the game, or you will continue to push away players. The Tour Showdown previously and the adjacent contest to it let most without even enough tokens for the lowest prizes, even with multiples of characters needed. While the prizes were much better than the past, they were basically unobtainable without every Superstar and endless grinding. The Macho Man is by far my favorite wrestler of all time, and would have loved to added him to my roster. Macho King and HOF Macho I would trade anyone on my roster for at this point.

The Macho Man is an extremely popular character. Unfortunately the Macho Man's currently in the game are very underwhelming in abilities, which made them impossible to defeat the HOF Macho when needed. The bonus points for using both HOF Macho and Macho King should have included the remaining Macho Man options as well in order to gain points. Again, the prizes were much better than in the past. The push for older characters and pushing the idea that pulling Shards needs to stop. People want new cards and new characters, not Shards for Superstars who have been in the game for 6 years, some of them no longer even in the company. Not every new card either needs to be overpowered, I would take new characters (current or Legends) who may be mid tier but would ultimately be a new card.

I love playing the game, however I have went FTP. I cant continue to spend and support something where I only can succeed when spending. I have a full time job, and cant commit hours upon hours to the game to grind. I hope these comments from everyone are taken to actually improve the overall experience
