Stop making the SD prize wall so polarising.

I spent probably $150-200, maxed events (missing couple characters) ended up with 35k SD scrimmage coins and got useless tokens, some TP and coin

How about a older gear, plate or shards, doesn't have to be the highly sought after new stuff.

When are you implementing a way to SORT STRAPS

When are you implementing a SEARCH AND FAVOURITE option for characters.

  • Pros

definitely the fact that you guys allowed us to buy a 40 coin loot for the prize of 7 loot coins. That’s about it

    cons

the showdown requirement for the characters can’t be done without them and obviously many of us didn’t have them

the prize wall prizes were great but how are we supposed to get 100000 coins when you guys provide the majority of coins in the bonus milestone. So no point of having those options in the prize wall when it’s impossible to get them without shit loads of spending

I wish you guys would make a prize wall which gives some characters at a very affordable coin of 10000 and not 100000

    Prize wall over priced

I tried my luck just to see if it would be better than what i have received the last 4 or 5 times i actually paid for loot coins during an event i bought 4 of the and every one was just 20 shards. The paid loot shouldn't be so full of shards and things you'd use in the store. I also couldn't get a single event bonus from the event matches since the required Superstars are so rare. It really feels like the only way to get anywhere on these events is spend an outrageous amount of $

The showdown event was a little better bonus wise but the event matches didn't help with the reward points i didn't like that changw

  • Event was overall preety good compared to previous events my only concern and feed back is most of the medallion cost high apart from that event was good

  • The ability to get needed shards was a great idea, but the payouts on them seemed very slim. Prize wall was a little weak for non spenders, I feel that you should be able to get a little more for grinding, and even bigger rewards for spending. The required posters should be a little more varied, as the required ones were rare, for the most part.

Well the showdown, the positive was scoring was good, characters while I didn’t have 4 of them seemed fair…. And had opportunity to grab some off the wall if I pulled a token….. tours ran decently and had decent rewards to support factions….

negitives: once again the prize wall is okay only for the pay player…. Maxing the event (not hitting pay bonuses) gives you around 19k in gems…. Hitting milestone 20/24 gave me around 57k….. so nothing but coin, TP, and lower tokens available…. 75k is the cheapest of the things people need and desire…. Seems a set up of frustration for those that play to build and cannot get any where unless you drop 100’s of dollars….

suggestions for SD….. make some decent rewards obtainable, for those that play and don’t just drop money…. I get it’s a business and should be something that you have to drop cash for…. But who wants to grind the time and matches without a decent reward to try for

Hard to max out since the characters needed to do so were rare. Prizes were pretty standard.

Overall a pretty decent event. 6-7/10 area overall

+Very easy amount of bonus matches needed. Ideally 20-40 will be the most needed for any SD going forward. Having to grind 75+ matches with bonus people can be tiring so this was just the right amount

+Tours were relatively easy and didn't seem to be overly difficult.

+Milestone rewards were decent and got alot of people cards they had missed by a little bit for the rest of the year.

-Way to many pulls needed to max an event that only had first/second getting a high end superstar guaranteed.

-Very restrictive bonus people needed. Yes they were available via bags which was nice but overall a tad to restrictive.

---- Capped SD coins. I understand why there is a cap but it makes the useage of a high end defense to gain more points virtually useless. There are quite a few cards that are basically designed to be a huge pain on defense but by having capped coins there is no reason to ever build up/use those characters.

This event overall had alot of potential and some things carrying over to future scrimmages would be nice.

  • The overall concept was good but the milestone rewards and odds for pulling 2022 choice coins could’ve been way better. I played and wasn’t able to get to a significant point with milestones and I bought extra coins past the accidental ones Scopely gave everyone and I only managed 1 bronze coin. I didn’t see very many people get more that 1 coin if they got 1 at all. Also the costs on the loot wall were way to high because there was no way without spending a ton of money to get anything useful. Change the odds on the loot and be better balanced with the milestone rewards and loot wall costs.

    Thank you,

  • I thought the showdown portion was good, the error in loot coins for the web special was a nice touch. The contest overall was fun. Even was able to pull a 4ss HHH dx army.

The main problems I had was the faction contest (any of the players I did have were maxed at their current level waiting for tokens to evolve). The one I did have available I maxed as high as I could along with whatever bonus points I could get. The pulls I feel were ok but designed to get you to a certain point and stop progress. For example showboat bulldog…within my first 10 pulls I received 6 sets of 150 shards (750 total) which brought me within 95 of getting bulldog. I was optimistic but didn’t get another bulldog shard with the rest of my pills. Even after the contest I would up 20 short. Same goes for other superstars trying to get…so close and then nothing.

I have to agree with a lot of people here saying the 6sb shards are almost impossible to get. I have been able to level up one to 6sb but that’s mainly because that color was the only 6sb token I’d pull with victories and contests.

Overall, I’d rate a 6/10…it was fun and decent, but a lot of room for improvement

The SD characters being rare and common was nice. I feel should have had more points for chase and the free characters. The loot coins staying at $20 even though it was a mistake, to help benefit everyone was a good choice. I realize the blog is subject to change, but when you state a higher item then lower it to not benefit everyone that’s a bit of a bad look. also only 9 points for SD coins come on that should never be less then 30, some those matches against 6s is nuts and deserve more points. All in all good SD, loot should’ve had a few more better superstars in it though.

This event wasn't bad. I thought it was a good opportunity to get shards for rare characters. I do believe that there were some cons of this event.

    1. the prize wall needs revamping. For F2P players it is basically useless. Even the shards are too expensive for F2P players to get.
    2. The rewards for the event need to be more. I think that there needs to be more of the higher tokens need to be added to the milestones at a lower milestone. There should be more emerald tokens available to the F2P players. I think emerald tokens should be a completion reward for at least one node in the tours and not a contest character reward.
    3. The bags should have had more shards. I feel like the bags that just had 15 shards were too low. They should have at least been 25 with how all these superstars are now being recruitable at at higher stars.

I think there needs to be more solo contest points available in the tours we have during the contest cause its getting further away from playing to paying and that's nit the best fit for the game

    My feedback

    - i was nice weekend and welcoming idea to do this instead of launching repeated superstar.

    - showdown coin points count was reduced to 9 instead of 15 which need to be look in to...

    - tours were fine but contest suoerstars were hard to get.

    - most important things was prizewall medallion given, maxed all free solo milestones and got only 8k medallions which was quite less to get anything good from prizewall. Not a single shards can be buy from 8k medallion.

    - talent up for perticular character for faction contest was bad idea.

Overall an okay weekend event which needed some corrections

Also part 2 of it will be welcomed with enough medallions for free to player to get some thing good from prizewall

  • Wasn’t a bad Showdown, kinda hoped that the bonus people weren’t so rare but that’s how it goes. Still was able to gain a couple new people so I really can’t complain. Hopefully we have more opportunities this month for shard gathering.

  • The concept of this event was a nice change but the execution left much to be desired.

I was glad to hear that the event would be based on the idea of having a chance to recruit past superstars by hitting the milestones and receiving bags with various superstar shards (and possibly a full poster if you're really really lucky). There was also mention of shards on the prizewall.

The expectation was like most events if you complete the "free" portion of the event, you have enough prizewall currency to get a low amount of shards of something. It turned out with this event, you aren't allowed to select anything related to shards that you want off the prizewall without getting lucky and receiving a bronze or higher medallion (or whatever it was called this time) from pulls (or be really really lucky with bags). So it was disappointing that the entire event was based on odds and ultimately ended with most of the player base receiving shards of an MLC chase character and minimal shards of the rare characters. To be less than 50 shards away from some of the characters available and make little to no progress on them from the bags is really deflating. To see those same characters on the prizewall and not have any currency to recruit them is very deflating. To have the currency that is received from the contest only be able to be used for coins, tp, and various tokens was extremely deflating. It would have been nice to at least be able to use the currency to buy a medallion.

The CSS for the tours and showdown were fine. The CSS for the faction events felt slightly extreme since the characters most people were guaranteed to have had low values despite likely already marginally highly leveled by most of the community that tried those months.

The cap on the showdown points is another deflating factor and should be removed. When I can reach the cap on Sunday without a defensive win, it makes caring about the defense irrelevant.

I hope there are more events where we can receive shards of past rare characters but hopefully next time us individual players get to choose which characters we want the shards for in some way. I would rather get random amounts of prizewall currency from a bag and be able to use what I receive on the character that I want instead of random shards that I don't need with no guaranteed option to pick the shards that I want.

This weekend was a celebration of all things 2022. Kicked the first weekend off with a M/F showdown. Always appreciate the switch up of the team requirements. The required wrestlers for the showdown, I think I only had like 30% for the bonus. It is what it is. I am used to this by now. Pretty easy to max both days of showdown, with a limited roster like mine.

I think I only made it to the silver loot millstone for solo. Any extra rewards are always welcomed. The faction I am in was able to max it a few hours before end of day/night 2. You had a chance to get some nice posters in the milestone rewards, but I have yet to see that. Extra shards are always nice though.

The tours were a little on the hefty side for bonus wrestlers. I did what I could with the required classes. That Baron Corbin tour was too tough to max at 2SG.

As far as the contest shop, I was only able to buy coin which is fine. The coin is always welcomed since the coin contest have yet again been raised. (If the coin contest keeps raising, I might have to stop playing all together)

Overall showdown weekends are usually a fun time. Thanks for the event and effort you put into them. Also thank you for giving us a platform to provide feedback. I look forward to the next event!

  • A complete scam. Acro NXT Seth (among others)is NOT part of the best of 2022! Having him and others in the loot coin pull is a D*ck move. As is only giving us o points per coin instead of the normal. This month is not off to a good start.

Me getting to reward 19 and STILL stuck getting only TP and coins with the shards is asinine. You make a event where we have to spend hrs grinding is fine but atleast reward us for it. SD is really no fun anymore because of these things. Us Non whales are getting further and further behind. It's time to atleast start making 5* emerald tokens more available for us. The fact that I only have 5 5*golds because of the lack of availability after over a yr is ludicrous.

As much as this has become a pay to play game this event was somewhat decent. The shard amount was ok but mostly unobtainable. I would love to see SD characters be obtainable in the milestones opposed to spending for them. Like players choice or something to end the year. This event was great for resources as in tokens coins and TP but the amount for the shards wasn’t worth the game time put into it. Yes we want the chase but over 3/4 of the community doesn’t get there because the milestones are just too unobtainable. I would love to see more of a reachable goal to make it exciting again.

S/N I love the 2 month chase. That should stay in place

  • I didn't enjoyed this type because I didn't get a single token,I played showdown event for nothing .I wish if I could get a skill plate from it and limited time tours gave nothing as usual. My last pull from a bag was 1 and half years ago! I only get crap from this event you guys are better then this.

Best of 2022 Showdown weekend was a total bust. It would been a disaster if it wasn’t for the “mistake” 47 pull 20 dollar offer. Even the people who gotten the offer multiple times, was still able to get the limit 1 offer when fixed. My recommendation is that Scopely knew they messed up, they should just leave it. There’s really no fix for that.

Showdown tourney itself was all right and might have been the second and last positive thing from this weekend event. Every superstar can be beaten, just need the right superstar to be able to beat them. I use showdown as practice for feuds.

The prizewall was horrible as if you have some medallions, your only choices are tokens, coins or tp. What about putting some shards in the prizewall that can be obtainable? Maybe some plates? Pretty much felt the prizewall was planned at the last moment before going live.

The loot still was horrible even with the 47 pulls. Only got 1 new character, which I guess was good. But no bronze medallion at least to get some shards. The loot could omit the superstars who weren’t released in 2022 as its supposed to be the BEST of 2022, not everything goes in 2022, which should be the event’s name.

The faction event was completely bad as the bonus characters needed to score, most people already have at high enough level that they couldn’t reach the faction’s minimum. An era or class point method would have worked better.

The tour was mostly good. The beef I had with it was the challenge mode only requiring Cody to get the bags. Christmas is coming up, why put an extremely rare superstar as the bonus to get the bags?

The bags I felt personally ripped off because I only got Steph shards for the most part. The shards and posters should have been from this year and should be minimum 50 shards… why only put 15 shards in the bag? It’s really deflating.

Overall, I felt with some high hopes of this weekend, felt like a let down as always. I’m going to find out how difficult it is to forgo buying the backstage pass as it’s not really valuable to me. It’s events like this is where I will keep my wallet closed. Sure, there will be people who will spend, but for me, I will only spend if I can be guaranteed a superstar from a shard pack. Maybe bring back the 50/50 bags. Just a missed opportunity like Black Friday and Cyber Monday to not offer shard packs for the Best of 2022 event.

More point to individuall event in tours or faction event., Or other more options ..level stars..use tp

  • I look at it like this. You have a wide range variety of players(Whales, FTP, Casual, etc…)but you seem to only cater to the Whales and alienate the other groups with events like this. Letting the other groups have a shot at obtaining a top tier champion isn’t the worst thing in the world. A player who has everything has nothing to gain where as a player who doesn’t pushes to gain everything.

  • Pros: I'm sure everyone enjoyed the loot coins mishap, I mean some aren't going to say it but everyone did, unless you're a f2p player of course. Shards bags were pretty awesome, actually having shards and posters for a lot of "S" tier superstars. Also, shards in loot were kind of a plus in the sense of needing them to evolve to 6s.

Cons: the rewards for faction event lacked. I feel there should have been so guaranteed medallions in there for top 3, maybe one gold, 2 silver and 5 or 10 for third. Second, loot was bad in the sense of it being "best of 2022" and shards/posters from some very old superstars from years ago were there. While I understand the top superstars from 2022 were there, I think those older posters should have been replaced with maybe 5-10 shards for actual 2022 superstars. Loot also lacked Ghostbuster posters. Lastly, the prize wall should have offered better superstar shards, like Nakamura, Ghostbusters, just to name a couple.

  • One of the "better" weekend events I guess.

The big problem which is always consistent is the gate/wall to get anything worthwhile from the prizewalls. Everything is overpriced. I think a bone should be thrown every now and then. The medallions earned need to be increased. I think if any player hits the last "free" milestone that player should be rewarded with enough to get something decent to good from the prizewall.

The last point is that the showdown points should not be capped. I get that it pretty much adds up to maxing both days (regular, event and claimed) butbit just screams "We don't want you to max."

I do commend Scopley though for giving us that 40 mega pull for $20.

There was good variety in the bronze medallion prizewall as well as the gold medallion. The silver medallion selection was awful. There were no ways to exchange silver medallions for gold. I had 7 and by math 50 bronze = 1 gold and 10 bronze = 1 silver. 5 silvers should have equaled 1 gold. If you include a way to trade down then include a way to trade up. The web portal contest rewards was awful. Spend $800 to receive a silver medallion when it was a gold medallion on the advert for the event. Most of the people who spent $800 had every one of the silver characters aside from maybe Liv who was 2 medallions. Pulls were a mixed bag. Got shards I needed for a few guys but there is absolutely no reason to have shards in featured as I pulled every shard in featured except for an actually poster. Also, why in the world are we guaranteed a PH British Bulldog in the best of 22 loot. He was in the game since it came out. There were no mutants, ghostbusters, zombie, MOTU characters but there was British bulldog power house. I spent way more on pulls than I should have and didn’t pull a single featured poster. With how much I spent (6th on leaderboard) without abusing the 47 pull glitch. I should have been guaranteed a gold medallion. But it’s okay I won’t be doing a single pill again

  • It was a good event. I would have preferred it if I knew what scrimmage medallion offers would be available during the entire weekend, so that I can buy the ones that I prefer. I would have spent more money if I did. Apart from that, it was a good event giving good characters and shards. The 5 guaranteed was really good.

I would also like it if there were offers like the one that was mistakenly provided... I know it was a mistake but it would be cool if there were 1-2 super offers each weekend.

Nothing on the prize wall beyond tokens and tp/coins is accessible to anybody without spending hundreds of dollars.

If I’m winning every match in the Showdown contest and have promoters on, my overall number should be going up, not down, sending me into lower leagues. It’s clear when this type of showdown event happens, you want to limit how much players earn in rewards.
