HART ATTACK SHOWDOWN SCRIMMAGE FEEDBACK +GIVEAWAY
Comments

Was a decent event. Just got a lot locked behind paid loot. Showdown seems more achievable by grinding than some of the megas that come out. The players want a way to grind and still succeed. If thats not an avenue youre only appealing to a small portion of the player base.
Go back and look at participation for the showboat bulldog showdown event, people got on and played because it was grindable. Do that and youll get more positive feedback

Even though I did get the new Bret in the event, I was not pleased with this event. I spent way too much money and didn’t even come close to maxing!! The cap on showdown coins for points is not fair to players that actually grind and play the showdown event and daily showdown. I understand you are trying to make events balanced but I believe the only way the game could ever become balanced is limiting how much spending money can get you points but you will never put a limit on that because that is how Scopely makes billions especially by making “errors “ in loot to entice spending. I have decided to quit spending because I really don’t get my money’s worth

The new Tech Bret trial was allot of fun! I appreciate Scopely giving us an opportunity to try him out. I always enjoy the trials and look forward to the next one! I did not get him during the event, but he is definitely a wrestler I will be trying for in the future.
The tours are always my favorite to play. I did not have all the requires stars but was able to fully complete 3 out of the 4 tours which is not too bad. The last one I did not have a high enough Bret to finish hell-mode, but it gave me a reason to focus on one that I have.
Showdown this time around was male/male which worked out well. I maxed both days with little issue. The first day was hard as everyone seemed to have the best defense and I still do not have a 6 star. 2nd day was a lot easier. Overall, I always enjoy showdown and always look forward to when then come around. I was quite surprised there was a cap on the SD coins. I enjoy SD as I play them every day so that was a little sad to see. For the next SD, if you cap coins can you maybe increase that amount allot higher then this weekend? I feel allot of us would appreciate that.
Rewards in the solo contest were nice. I did not max, but I was able to get to silver loot box. (18 I think) Any and all rewards in these solo contests are always welcomed.
The faction I am in struggled with the faction event. As of this post I think we just hit milestone 4/5 but the rewards awesome. Slowly working towards getting that hof Bret. Thanks for that.
As far as the store is concerned, it seems like the rewards are costing more and more. I was only able to buy coin. I am used to this by now. I will say, why were we not able to buy the 100 ct TP bags? I always look forward to those. I did not have 20,000 event coins to buy the 1,000TP bundles.
Overall fun weekend event. Very little stress. Tech Bret is sooo freaking cool! Gratz to everyone who was able to get him!

All perfect but this time I did not understand the cost of wall prizes to be taken with medallions in comparison to the old sd events. There are only 500 coins to be taken with 100 medallions then starts from 10,000 medallions so if one does not reach at least 11,000 medallions many medallions will be thrown away. Before there were many prizes to be taken at acceptable costs now a simple legendary wall costs 12,500. I repeat the event I liked as usual, the wall less

Positives:
The caracter itself was very good, summed good all that Bret Hart meant on Hart Foundation days(Will never be complete because of reasons and reasons).
Negatives:
Only Legends and HOF to score on faction event? Come on, you know that both are kinda scarce, the bonus points being P2P only is sad to those who play daily and the their main money is lower than Dollar,as a F2P, the rewards were decent ,the shard bags are too little too short, and these are some of the main factors that bothers.
An sugestion is: on the next mlc, give us the substitute from Arn Anderson"AA" as free caracter, as you did with Trickster Dean Ambrose.

I think you should've added more solo points to the tours instead of the faction points for the event itself

I feel like the showdown event for old school bret was too short...with an early start and the showdown "contest" and not starting it till half of contest timer was going and the showdown was not as fulfilling as it could be because of it.
If the start of the a future showdown event and the contest could be at the same time and end at the same time or even 30 min early difference it would help the contest and event be better

I think the event was okay I fell about 105 shards short but it had resourceful coins in there of course I would love to max it. Just in the future we can put useful shards in the prize wall

There shouldn’t be a limit on showdown coins for the event when you already get minimal coins for the daily showdown. Keys and tokens for Truth would’ve been acceptable rewards instead of rewards that have little affect on progression in the event.

Hart Attack Bret Hart was very interesting character with top tier and he's moveset also good to recycling. And botch gems in Finisher move is very like ful because the opponent couldn't kicked out. But it's too tough enough for me to getting his shards to recruit him with my roaster. If there's any luck I have a chance to get him back. He's good in trail time..

Ok event. Showdown is such a long grind. And not as fun as fued or boss battle.
the character is great, of course without some money he isn’t achievable.

Still hard to get a worthwhile amount of shards or chances to get the featured star

I'm left with over 5000 prize wall medallions and nothing to spend them up.The prices of the rewards you put on it are beyond crazy. At least let us buy the 500k coins more then 10 times.A limit of 50 would be nice so I have something to spend a majority of my medallions on.

Pretty much liked the contest but as for most contests lately if you’re not in a top faction it’s hard to get a decent price. This makes the gap between the top and everybody else bigger as the game continues. Let’s be honest, people willing to pay and grind should be rewarded the most but if feels like only grinding can’t get it done anymore.
maxing the faction event is Elbert hard the way it was set up. In order for everybody to get 1% costs to much coins for the lower players.
all and all I’m not complaining as I enjoyed the contest but it would be nice to be able to close the gap with the top players or at least not get further behind.

PRO's
Showdown is always fun especially trying to find ways to use CSS, especially if not upgraded.
Rewards were good, I liked how having your faction needing to complete the Faction contest for extra points, also a negative, but that is up to the faction to make happen
The mistaken on the loot coins was nice. Extra pulls gave extra CSS and Shards for people! The bonuses are nice each month even if it costs the company. Nice perks
Didn't see as many double 6 stars as the last showdown, so that was nice.
I liked capping the showdown coins!
Con's
I wish there was more ways to get 6star tokens, that aren't random. Would be nice to be able to get 5 a month, like HOF if you complete 40m you get 10 a month to upgrade HOF. If not 10 a month, 5 a month, with an achievable milestone for just playing and not needing to spend, even random would be okay if it was 10 a month, knowing you will eventually have a enough.
Would be nice to see more plate tokens each month, and more options to buy with saving. Showdown seems like a good event to add both as rewards.
Would like to see the algorithm match defense levels more. So if low def, see more low def people, if higher def, face higher def. Just so something to help people when trying to get over the top with showdown coins.
The faction needing to account for ~400k in rewards was rough trying to get everyone to do their part. Would help if the spenders could have made up for some of this with loot coins or other ways, so wasn't all TU of the team, but ways the top of each of the lower factions can help out more.
Agree on the trial comment earlier. Would be nice to have a way to upgrade the bonus, for possibly coin, or winning the file at a 6star for the change to win an extra match for 6star or more shards. Just an idea, but like hard final is 25k v the 17k and if you win, gain a token for 3 matches that are set up with rewards including extra shards and 6 star token, or medallions, or all 3. Then allow a way to upgrade, but have to cost the player to upgrade to win the match for the bonus. Something creative, but makes the trial be more than, just the normal, find a move set, play, beat, 100 shards... done. Seems like a waste, especially if you buy coins.

This event was nice. Pretty much a copy and paste of previous events where you get some, but not enough shards to recruit the character. The prizewall was nice but could have used some more resources at a lower cost. You had the opportunity to buy 500k coins 10 times at 100 pw coins each and then the next lowest cost item was 10k pw coins. The discounted rates were nice for the pulls and might not be a bad idea moving forward, especially if the weekend or featured card is not one that people feel they have to get. Overall, I would give this weekend's event a 6.5/10 score. It was above average but could have been executed differently to make the player base more invested.

I cannot understand why one of the tasks wasn’t use ew bret in showdown for a load of points like it always is, I know you messed up giving every one cheap loot pulls but to take that away just showed a lack of integrity in the game. ( and I don’t have the new bret either), other that that the points you need for prize wall were ridiculous this time round, only thing I could get were coins!!
actual showdown itself was decent though didn’t have any technical issues at all. Seemed bug free

Quite honestly this month has too many events going on at once. Causing difficulty trying to hit them all at and get tasks completed.

Big fan loved the trial run of the hitman

- Earning medallions has been too tough in the last couple of Showdowns. Previously I was able to get anywhere around 20K medallions and now its just 8.2k medallions.
- The grave concern here is not able to spend those medallions. After spending my holiday to play the game, neither I am able to get solo MLC points nor I am able to use the medallions I got from the event. Not able to spend is highly demoralising.
- Being an f2p player acquiring the contest points in both solo and faction contest has been too hard. Previously able to hit 3-4 bonus milestones. Now, I am not even able to hit the basic milestones. And in faction contest, I’m able to contribute only 0.3% by playing the contests (thats 2/5 milestones).
- Please think differently and change the structure of the event. It is becoming a routine thing every MLC.

I liked that there were accessible contest superstars for showdown. I hate that there is such a HUGE gap in rewards options for scrimmage shard medallions. I earned just over 6k. I could only spend about 1k to get some coins, then the next cheapest reward cost 10k. What am I supposed to to with my other 5k medallions? There should be more options in the 1k-5k range on that prize wall

Positives
- Tour requirements, with the exception of the challenge nodes, were reasonable and provided minimal hurdles to extra faction points for players.
- Medallions were available for the prizewall at a rate where premium prizes were available for players willing to spend a considerable, but not ridiculous, amount - at least compared to previous offerings.
- CSS requirements for showdown were very straightforward and very easy to accomplish with the M/M format.
- Rewards were perfectly in the middle of the road - not too stingy, not too generous. Baby steps toward rare characters for most players, but better than no steps at all.
Negatives
- The showdown coin limit. This is the major thing about this event and what most people will take away from it. It's an overreaction to an advantage that only truly exists for a small percentage of people.
- The coin limit also highlights showdown's greatest flaw - most players gained more from losing intentionally to other players than they could have ever gained from winning. That is not the player's fault, but rather a conscious decision from developers to limit, and now limit further, what players can do on offense. Rather than lean into the "grind your face off" method of progress with individual showdown wins like in the popular Summerslam 92 Bulldog event, the coin limit just creates tough situations for players where if they had a good defense, they now faced the choice of having to "waste" coins gained through weekly reset or standard showdown play, where before it may have been the difference between getting or not getting a milestone. That's a boring, counterintuitive way to play the game.
- There is growing discontent about facing 6-star opponents. More and more players are going to find themselves unable to compete because of the various bottlenecks involved in getting the right cards to 6 stars. And they don't have a choice of whether or not they see them.
Solutions to Negatives
- Coin limit: Expand the coin limit/alter the scoring per coin to where players can achieve more through strong defenses while not letting those players trivialize the money spent by the top spenders in the game. Simply adding an extra "max weekly reset" cushion to the limit would probably create enough room for the top showdown players to benefit from their skill at playing the game, without upsetting the natural pecking order of spenders ahead of non-spenders.
- Coin limit (alternative): Remove the coin limit and introduce a sub-contest that rewards players for WINNING showdown matches and making defensive stands, rather than trading losses through collusion with other players.
- 6-star opponents: Continue to increase opportunities for players to evolve 6-stars. Otherwise, tweak matchmaking MMR to ensure that players below 1400 have at least one low-level opponent that they can hit per queue for a small bump in notoriety if they want to just grind out those last few points to try and stay over 1400.
- 6-star opponents (alternative): entice players to challenge themselves against 6-star opponents by offering an extra bonus per win against a 6-star opponent. This bonus can be capped if you'd like, but rewarding players at this stage in the transition to the 6-star meta would make the transition run smoother.
Have a great day.

Most demotivating event for a long time. I doubt why I should invest time in playing without any rewards.
This time I was able to do the tours, I maxed both showdown days, had all fights done with legends, technicians, strikers, showboats and the bulldog and used the extra points on Sunday. And then I just have 8.2 k points and the first reward in the store start at 10 k for shads.
I think this should be more balanced. At least one good reward should be possible with this invest of time and energy. Otherwise it's very frustrating.

This was a standard showdown event with several things that made it less exciting. The prizewall didn't have any items of value at a reasonable price which eliminated much of the excitement. The cap on showdown points was also disappointing. The tours were fine for those able to land the new Bret but even that felt like something to bring people's spirits down.

The limit of how many showdown coins that could be used was dumb I understand you’re a business out to make money but honestly I’ve been a spender on this game for a long time but lately my spending is becoming less and less the more greedy this company gets need to find a middle ground till then my spending will stay minimal and may even stop completely you’re alienating your player base with nothing but spend event after spend event

There is not much to talk about here. This was just a rinse and repeat of previous showdown contests. I dislike the paywalls and the requirements of super rare wrestlers, but I understand that you are just trying to make money from the game. The rewards seemed less than stellar, and there was very little reason to attempt to max. To be honest, Showdowns are just slow and teadious, and once you get enough notoriaty you require either a 6* or hope that others have dropped their defenses.

Overall strong contest but need to balance it out to reward both F2P and P2P players while making it worth wild for people to want to purchase items.
The reward coins were basically useless as all the prizes were really expensive so unless you got 10k or more you could redeem 10 at 100 for $5 million coins than waste the rest of them.
Faction event was difficult to get points, the showdown event was alright but required a ton of playing while the reward levels lacked for the amount of work put in.
great game just need to find a better balance for everyone while finding ways to keep us coming back while also getting new people to also want to spend money.

As far as the showdown goes the usual glitches didn’t accrue so that was great….
the special character used was good also….
my one draw back is supose to PvP… with a mix of character used to obtain points…
once again something everyone has/had a chance in has turned into a exclusive pay event….. so over all thumbs down…. This is a game and if no one can play or complete it is bejeweled with a twist

The showdown was overall a bad experience, things are becoming more and more restrictive. I love a grind to earn achievements in game but when you have to spend hundreds and sometimes close to thousands of actual dollars to get minimal rewards is pushing the players away. It’s bringing more and more people hacking the game because a new player cannot compete on a fair playing field with anyone who’s played for years. As a day one player I would like to see less of a mandatory spend to max an event to go back a couple years where a good grind will earn you a decent set of rewards.
also the defense setup is a very noticeable set back you never get attacked until you reach a certain noterity then once you get over 1000 you’ll get attacked multiple times in seconds by the same player and drops you more than you earn in multiple matches making it almost impossible to hit the max milestone and not drop below before the reset.
most importantly the increase in spending is causing a mass of hackers cheating and making complete unfair game play. Please address this issue
