Hart of a Legend Faction Feud

  • Even though I didn't have all required superstars to max the superstar contest, I like the concept. Also like that you could earn the steps from the tours and an obtainable solo contest milestone. No major changes to Feud-, faction- and solo milestone rewards.

All in all, I'll rate this contest at 7/10.

  • Hey team,

The contest was fun filled. But the problem we saw was milestones which were 23 which was impossible to complete for most of us .. what I observed in this game is most of the people who play this are students it's tough for them to spend so much money into something ...so from the next time please consider this point ..

Even the other milestone during fued where we had to play 800 matches to compete the milestones which was nearly impossible..

What I would suggest is make milestone looks reachable atleast.

Rest of the parts like loot and new superstar was awesome..

Anvil looks very strong character with unique moveset. Keep introducing more legendary era superstars so that wwe fans will start liking this game.

    Thanks and Regards,

I liked the change to the contest superstars, giving them there own contest that was a grindable event that had good rewards. The war score competition could use some updating. Maybe some stretch goals that would keep the community more engaged during the feud, especially during the flash feuds weekend.

Also, I would like to see one of the new weekend characters have a grindable way to acquire the champ. That would have ZERO money requirement whatsoever.

Really enjoyed the feud this time, having to use different cards to get the points meant that it wasn't just a sub fest.

You need to look at the expense of getting the new card because you put one out every week and then not enough shards to recruit them. I personally spent around £50 this weekend which doesn't seem a lot but in other games £50 will outright buy new stuff and the closest i got was 20 shards.

How about make the characters actually easier to get

Loved the steps in the tour for the event. This event was fun and had little to no problems. Would love to have a character we can grind for once a month at least. Can’t really compete yet on the leaderboards so maybe do something for the lower guys can get in on the fun.

  • First of all the Ken Shamrock tour had a node that wouldn't work send a ticket in no real human ever got a hold of me it never worked for the whole week so I missed out on all the hell prizes. Feud is still broken soon as it matched you in a feud it would kick you back to the main screen and then drag and lose at least two to three minutes before you could even start and freezing the entire match for 5 to 10 seconds here and there.

  • I think the general consensus is that this was a pretty time consuming grind, a lot of people just don’t have time for it. If you do not have a lot of the prerequisites, then you are kind of out of luck as well.

The feud was great though, and it was nice to achieve milestones that rewarded you towards characters you have yet to unlock. I think you are on the right track and it didn’t quite feel like everything was locked behind a paywall this time!

ps: if you read this, can I have some Kairi Sane shards, or even a 1 star bronze to work on…PLEASE!

  • Event was a change to the standard Feud but it seemed like more work for basically quite near the same rewards you'd get in a standard feud. Grind is all good if you have a whole Sunday to waste but even after that you'd find yourself nowhere near recruiting the new poster. That's a lot of time for half a poster.

Feud Battles take longer to complete as opposed to Showdown so the Showdown type contest in Feud was maybe a little too high of a target for many to reach.

Addition of Feud steps in tours and Portal was helpful.

Technically it was much better than last month so props for that. No issues with loading or getting stuck on Battle over screens. Ran very smoothly.

Use of Legend era superstars that may not be used in Feuds much made a change was a nice touch.

good experience but my biggest issue is the rewards for the tours. Can you please start adding better rewards? No technical issue in this contest

My god, it happened. A feud event I genuinely really liked.

    • Changing tacts here and talking about the new portions of the event - namely, the superstar competition. The competition was a nice way of directing people towards using a certain subset of people (in this case, legends) for a feud without resorting to super restrictive lineup. I was lucky enough to have everyone but Macho King meaning that 100 Legends matches wasn't a super strenuous experience, but I do wonder how much more positive I'd be about the whole thing if I had to do 200 to finish things up, because the big issue was I felt it was pretty vital to finish this contest up in order to do well in the main contest (3 mill out of the ~8 mil possible) so locking that behind like 300 feud matches is not exactly my idea of a good time.
    • There was also the new way of getting steps, and I think I like this over just not having them or paying out the nose for them - putting them deep (but not in the very end) of tours gave tours a bit of spice, and you still get the freebies to get the non-war score bonus. Surprisingly well executed.
    • Speaking of tours, they are generally well executed this time, using the 'mostly solo contest point' flavor this weekend. The challenge tours are back to having interesting and reasonable requirements instead of 'the new character' or 'the character we released last week', which is refreshing.
    • Rewards were really good for everything but chests and Neidhart shards, but honestly that's enough to make me pretty satisfied with an event. 6-star tokens, a meaningful amount of fodder shards, and even stuff like tier 5 medals all contributed to a good haul for a weekend, though the nature of the event meant that if you didn't max out the superstar contest you'd really get kneecapped across the board. In comparison, the war score contest really felt like it was made redundant here, and I can only hope it steps up in the coming weeks.
    • A bit of a tiny, miscellaneous nitpick here (so nothing new from me) - why was HoF Bret a requirement for the middle row? I don't think HoF Bret is overly rare for the spot, not really my issue, but he isn't a Legend, didn't even get bonus points for the war score contest IIRC, and the fact that there were at least two other legends acrobats who would be fighting for the feud promoter and Bret's trainers meant that he was kinda redundant for the whole thing outside of generally being a good character and the Hart Foundation tie-in.
  • The feud was glitchly and mismatched me quite a few times.

I wouod like to be able to get a new character without spending cash I know itss how you make money but for the people like me who can't buy pulls please give us a chance.

    Hi,

For me this contest was fun. The best positive side was that you gave us the boost steps in different milestones. It boosted the Feud score and with this you can get high score. It was great that the required superstars was not those we can hardly get.

Keep on this and the game will be fun again.

  • Emphasis on beating 6 star characters is hurting the game. Not everyone strives to play this game every second of their day, and there should be awards or attainable points for everyone.

It was a fun event. It had better rewards. I think 50-100 shards is more reasonable than 5-10

  • Positives

    • A second Neidhart was definitely long awaited but unfortunately not enough to shard recruit him but eventually hope to add him to my roster. I guess we can await Bret Hart's version of the Hart Foundation.
    • This Fued felt fun again even though the Perks were scaled back to what it was the month-before. It didn't matter considering the points distribution was fair and not to mention the plenty of free steps given away to allow us to capitalise on another additional 40% warscore boost. This made fued super fun to try and max warscore. Maxing one of the event always gives players satisfaction that we were able to complete something rather than nothing.
    • Introducing the solo fued score was an interesting way to engage the players and continue to fued rather than stopping after maxing warscore of 40m. For me, I didn't have it in me to grind out 200+ matches but stopped at second last milestone so I was happy with that. Personally I would have loved to continue scoring if the 10k score was coming from a Modern Era as opposed to Legends. This is great for those willing to push through the grind so that means they could essentially finish upto the second last milestone of the solo event with barely any spending. This is great and I hope to see this be a consistent event as part of Fued.
    • In terms of fued, no issues with matching and I thought the fued line-up and bonus felt OK. Not great and not too bad.
    • Solo contest was fine with good amount of rewards. Without any spending I reached 19/23.
    • Solo tours were good and not too restricted and pretty open with requirements so nice work on that.
    • Faction contest was also good with plenty of rewards.

    Negatives

    • I thought it would have been more appealing if the scoring for the solo fued wasn't relying only on Legends. I mean I understand it's a Legends theme but atleast open it up to add Ruthless Agression Era or some class requirements to allow for more options to grind. I would have loved to chase and grind out those 200+ matches but only if I had more options as Legends isn't the most stacked in my roster.
    • Would have been nice if the skill plate picker coin was added to the last milestone of the warscore competition.

    Suggestions

    • Like to mention the fantastic and surprising addition of Heroic Titan Plate which has been the community's most sought after plate especially being made available relatively free. I'm stoked to get my first one and glad I saved my tokens which paid off! Obviously costs quite a lot but that's understandable due to the value of the plate. Wondering if this is a once-off or will it be added every month or would it be rotated to something different? Either way, I'd like to now start seeing more of these skill-plate picker tokens make a come-back for every event for us to try and acquire them, I think atleast an opportunity to get more than 5-6 in a month?
    • There was a time when blog reveals had CC do giveaways but somehow haven't seen any of these for a while? I've seen other games where there's a lot of drives from their CC giving out plenty of giveaways to get viewers so similarly with blog reveals, you tend to have players attend to find out the reveal so why not throw in freebies as well. Maybe make it easy and just give out a universally loved resource - Cash. It can be used in pulls, revives, re-rolls, etc. I mean even handing out say 10x 1000 TP bags is worth something these days. I'm sure CC wouldn't mind doing these so they get more viewership and helps with their platform streaming viewership.
    • I notice a lot of other games also have their own official Discord channels. I think moving from Forum to Discord would probably be more appealing and I'm sure mods can monitor the environment within Discord to ensure it's under control or appoint Faction Leaders as mods if you need extra helping hand. Having Town Hall restricted to just Faction Leaders makes the rest of us feel like we're not important enough. Just my 2 cents. Plus discord would seem like an easier platform to run some easy giveaways. In my opinion, as long as you can keep your player base engaged with plenty of giveaways, there will be no other reason for us to go look for other games to keep us interested. Also wanted to shout out, last month giving out 80 pulls is something we'd like to see recurring, even though it was done in error. I mean it's all about giving to the players every once in a while right :)

Overall a solid Fued event especially with the way everything is laid out. A lot of my faction mates were able to max warscore so a very positive feedback to this event in my opinion. Copied and perfectly said

Good event. Finally a good anvil

  • The contest was good. Having multiple feud step boosters being easily obtainable was a welcome improvement. Would have liked to see the free character be used more in tours to get solo contest points.

Another riveting weekend, another bundle of thoughts, for sure. Let's start with the positive!!

    - I personally think the concept of the superstar sub-event is great. Like, really, REALLY fanastic. For many people, the typical CSS setup in feud is never really worth it. You're better off just grinding your A-game rather than try and work in some people you maybe haven't leveled or something to that level. Furthur more, offering a SIZABLE grip of solo contest points just from grinding feud is GREAT. It's a really nice and fun idea, I hope to see it back on some level. Great job!

    - I like the contiuation of transparency on the blog w/r/t points in the weekend events. Personally, I had a lot of frustrations with the game as of late, I've even thought about walking away. Thankfully, I have a great team with me who helped me to readjust and refocus my energy this month so I'm trying to have a goal-oriented approach. With the blog info and points from warscore, someone like myself is easily able to directly math out how much you would need to spend coupled with a warscore leaderboard target in order to max the event and get the Hogan strap. For something like that, again: thank you! It's great intel when the math lines up.

-Weekend tour requirements continue to be pretty agreeable and good. Always love that.

    - Free steps. Need anyone say more? This is rad as heck and hope there are more potential setups like this in the future.

Now onto some points of criticism.

    - The beginning tour nodes not paying out is very much not a good look. I was in voice chat with some teammates, and some people mention they think they're short of points. Considering I mathed out my entire weekend, I ran the numbers with what was left in tour, and I was indeed on pace to be short with my goal of a top 20 finish. I'll pair with something nice, and a huge shout out to Luna in support for ran a check and saw I was missing points and got them credited to me. But I think this happening is going to potentially innudate support in some bad ways. Hopefully this gets fixed.

    - I think the timing of the faction event ending with the contest is a little wonky. Maybe I'm just biased because I'm in NA, but the feud marathon ended at 2pm. Inevitably, I had to get up at 7am Monday for work, as do....a lot of people, I think. So when something like the feud event ending at 2 or 3 am or whatever it's just rough. Sucks to sometimes feel like you have to be available at any given time/hour for something like this.

    - I'll take every chance I can get to whine (ish) about reward structuring. Like I mentioned, my main goal this weekend was the Hogan strap. And I did get it (nice), but where did I end up in solo after getting over 2m points in feud rewards? 52nd. My Anvil shards? 1665. So by my math, I currently have to not only be one of the best feuders in the game every event, but also probably have to spend an additional $100+ to have a chance at a card? After awhile it just makes feud feel fruitless. That being said, I had my goal for the weekend and I got it, but if not for the end milestone being obtainable and good, why would I push myself for dang near 24 hours? It's the same deal as the Dragon event, which was where some of my resentment started. 4th in feud. 1800 shards. I bit the bullet and eventually shelled out an additional $200 for the shards. But I don't want that to be a norm on any level. It just feels like nowadays you still be one of the best players in the game and just be constantly beat by the almight dollar and it's very demoralizing.

All in all, I honestly think it was a solid event. Realistically, I think I could have maxed solo completely free had I know I would have finished top 10, it is what it is. But that's a great step in a positive direction! Sucks I couldn't secure the card because of my own wallet but such is life. Hopefully some of the new, good things come back in some capacity because I think they could make feud weekends something much more fun to look forward to. Overall, 8/10? Yeah, that seems about right.

    xoxo,

    Dear You

I always spend roughly the same each event and for the past year that has been enough to get nearly every new character. However over the past two months I am getting further and further away from unlocking the new characters. You really should look at the rewards. Either the milestone or the ranking rewards along with the drop rate of shards. And make the cards slightly more attainable. Since 6* they have definitely become for the really big spenders only and longer term if fewer have the chase cards then fewer will enjoy playing the game.

    • Superstar Contest

I loved this addition! It was great to have a reason to play the game after hitting 40m warscore and I played far more faction feud this weekend than I have done for months. The rewards were quite good and gave players an opportunity to make progress in the solo event by actually playing.

    • Warscore Steps

The opportunity to earn the steps was awesome. I was a little worried that the steps would be locked behind very rare CSS or behind a paywalled milestone, but I was pleasantly surprised by how attainable it was by playing the event.

    • Takedown 2 Medals

I was excited to see these medals come into the game but this was a flop. With the only options for the move damage slot being 'All color moves', there is no situation where a Takedown 2 set is better than a regular Takedown set with a specific color. I'm not sure if this was deliberate or an oversight but I was really disappointed.

    • Offers

I thought some of the packs this weekend were really interesting and there was some good value to be found. Some of the guaranteed shard/poster offers were good, particularly if people needed loot pulls to reach certain milestones. The loot was again very bad, so I'm sure people are generally only buying pulls to progress in events at this point.

    • Solo Contest

Overall I was satisfied with the progress I could make in this event by playing tours and progressing in the warscore and superstar contests. One gripe was the massive gap between the final and 2nd to last milestone. When I calculated the potential leaderboard points I was on course to earn and the loot coin cost of hitting the last milestone, I realized there was no reason to continue playing for a specific leaderboard rank. An additional milestone in between might have pushed me to keep playing and/or spend.

This event was a massive improvement on recent feud events. I was a long long way off recruiting Anvil which is a shame, so I'd really like to see more shard availability of feud characters from previous feud events to incentivize collecting as many shards as possible during these events. I'd be more inclined to chase shards if I felt that I had a realistic shot at more shards over the next 2/3 months.

  • I just wanna say yet again y’all did a good job. I like the event and the new things you added. Giving the stairs away definitely made it easier for free to play to hit their 40 million on the feud. Keep up the good work.

    Feud Set Up

    • Requirements were fantastic. (I could fill bottom 2 lines) I don't feel any of the characters were in what I consider the extremely rare category. I'm sure some view them as too P2W but they likely view everything as P2W
    • Speaking of P2W ... I LOVE what you did with feud steps. Having them be earnable was fantastic and I would love to see this adopted for future feuds.
    • First time wins 150K lets keep this as well. First time wins having large point values just encourages players to utilize their rosters more which is always more positive.

    Solo Contest/Feud Contest

    • Hogan Affiliation strap was not a great carrot on the end of the stick for me personally. But I am not one that will spend to max the events anyway.
    • Using the 4x affiliation strap in a feud designed like this one with scoring as accessible as this one. Adding on a 60 million Individual Feud Score Milestone with Feud Promoter Straps would be a great additional chase.
    • I also really like how the CSS portion was separate from the Warscore Event. Only difference from me that I would like to see is the Era Matches be worth a bit more. 20-25K would be more motivating for me. Bringing 100 down to 50/40 would encourage me and more players to chase those milestones and feud that much more.

Faction Contests and LTTs all pretty much standard at this point. I think they are in a good spot and don't have any additional feedback on them.

This event felt different, I appreciate the bonus for having large rosters for old timers and not just rewards high spenders , it felt easier to advance than other events that felt impossible but still this game has become for real money spenders , and I have spend too much already and still don’t feel appreciated by scopely or rewarded with justice , every special bag or real money loot I enter i normally get common shards and low rewards , I guess new players are getting amazing things with the free players and 10,000 shards that once were impossible to get easy .

i suggest very special gifts for anniversaries on the game , daily consistent players and not just for millionaires spending money .
