Hart of a Legend Faction Feud

The event character usage was a new nice flare. It was beneficial to the spenders and the non-spenders. Getting extra event points by just playing the game is always a plus. I would steer away from making it too much of a grind to obtain. This is supposed to be a game, not a job. A few hours of one's weekend is great. Spending all weekend trying to do an event without being able to sleep is an issue.
The downside of the event would be shards. Even if you spent to max the milestones, you could not obtain the character. That's a slap to the face. I don't care that events are made to spend money to receive the poster but when you spend to max all milestones and still can't get the newly released character, there is a flaw within the event content. Come on Scopely, I know you are going to get your money, but let's be fair in the process.

overall ok but tuff on the requirements in the solo challenges for new players developing. Tuff to obtain the card overall without alot of purchases. Css tie in was good to help people on solo to get further than normal but a couple more positive tweaks to this can make it more enjoyable

Overall, I felt the contest was good but the amount in the legends contest was a little low to make it worth playing for. I didn’t have the specific macho man needed and I wasn’t going to play a 100 games to make up the point difference.
I also understand why there are rankings and pointing are given away for the main event for feud, but as someone with limited time most weekends, I don’t ever see a reason to go beyond 40 million, besides faction goals. It would be nice if some rewards could be tiered to points more, like 50 mil, 75 mil, and a 100 mil. It wouldn’t change rankings but would just give an incentive for more people to play when meaningful points are out of reach.

For once I wasn’t completely upset about an event. Even with starting later on in the evening, I managed to max both solos. I particularly liked the superstar competition part that provided additional scoring opportunities that went towards the solo.
It still feels like a pay to win kinda game though. I’d like to see different incentives for players that are in higher league levels. The higher the league, the more points and/or rewards. I don’t necessarily feel like the normal rewards should be nerfed if there is some sort of league incentive, but for folks that grind it out consistently, it may boost morale and keep folks from wanting to bail.
Again, this particular event was definitely one of the better ones in recent memory.

Overall it was a good event. The only problem was the lack of legends to do tours and get higher rewards. The shards were not so easy to come by in this one, I don’t think I even made it half way. The 5* gold loot was trash, I did do a couple pulls and I got the same character 70% of the pulls and nobody that could help me with the event. For the amount of money people spend the loot should be way better.

Scopely fam,
Always enjoy events like this. Grindable aspect on a third solo event was nice. I think making posters/resources available is something that should continue moving forward.
Free steps!!!!!! Excellent making steps attainable for free. Personally I would like to see steps go away as it would speed feuds up but if you are going to keep using them, make them free.
Tours are always standard. No issue with those or the challenge tours. Would like to see more shards of the chase characters in event rewards and tour nodes. Not anything crazy. Maybe 100 or so more.
Resource amounts in rewards and tours are great. Increasing those has benefited all players. Especially those with lower rosters. Should provide some balance in the game.
As a small streamer with a small community of viewers i received positive feedback about the event overall. I think the company has done a great job with improvements over the last few months.

Ok, quick overall: it was one of the better feud weekends for a long time. More detail:
Good: Feud solo contest below the solo contest.
the war score competition has always been a good addition to the faction contest, so it’s good to have something for the solo contest too: rewards seemed good, and it was (probably) grindable for most people to obtain shards for a character that a lot still don’t have (King Shemus).
Good: Also, no such thing as too many rewards. :) rewards were solid through the milestones and would help players progress. Glad we are seeing more of the 6S evo tokens. Milestone were motivational
Good: game play seemed smooth. Matching was working reasonably well. There didn’t seem to be many tech issues.
good: shard-a-rama! But this is a good thing. Anyone chasing 6 stars need the shards now, and it’s good you’ve come through with the more shards promise.
Better if: although this was kind of in the nature of the feud, it was quite restrictive for a lot of people. Always better to have as many open slots as the minimum requirement.
Better if: Yes, there was King Seamus available, but once a month it’d be nice to have a genuinely chaseable new character without the spend (like bulldog a few weeks back). I appreciate you need to watch your bottom lines, but once a month would give something back to the players.
better if: THE STAIRS! Ok, it was great that there were enough obtainable to get the 50% bonus, but it was a drain on resources to equip them me I don’t think I quite made it back. The +% feud score perks are important now but I think it’s a shame they are needed.
but that’s probably it? Very good weekend event imo.

This was a good event, minor glitches here and there but overall very good event. The grind for the legends matches was a challenge but nothing crazy.

overall this was a good event. the feud step perk idea was great and allowed alot of ppl an opportunity to get full perks. hopefully this will continue in other feuds as well. as a mostly f2p player i was able to hit well into the bonus milestones which gave me more incentive to keep pushing in the event.
again overall good job with this event and hopefully this style will continue in upcoming events.

Was fun to use an era that gets ignored. Tours were a bit more challenging. Like the bonus points for first time wins in feud

Agree with a lot if what's been said, the new superstar section was fun as was the feud steps, the problem was the 5 million points for having anvil ( 5 wins )or the lowly 10k per any legend, just need to up that to entice more to grind

I think your separation into winning with specific characters into its own points system outside of warscore was great and made a lot of sense. It gave players motivation to use those characters in the feud, which I think was well done. The previous system where you just awarded bonus warscore points didn't give me much of a motivation to use those characters as it was simply faster to use one of my stronger characters and easily make up the difference in score.
The warscore rewards were good as well. Would like to see more 6SB being made available for the rewards, but overall I thought they were fair rewards.

I liked the aspect of tours or bonus characters w ppl the new character has/had a feud or link to. Feud was fun as always.

All the events are the same: sucker in the whales that keep pumping in money. For everyone else, it’s “here’s shards for a character you’ll never get”.
I still remember when I had to grind to get ZPaige, those days are long gone.

The new way of obtaining solo pts via the bonus posters was good and bad. A way to make it better at least is increase the extra bonus pts playing with the css from 10k to at least 25k. I notice there were not many shards attain from this contest usually the average will be 12k -13k must had been missing bags at certain milestone which was not given. The most problem in the contest was the solo pts from the tours not registering. Had to log in and out a few times.

Hello as a tour setting I have not noticed significant differences from the other events, while in the various steps to reach to get the prizes I still find it very difficult to get high scores that give you the opportunity to receive important rewards, as regards the feud I everyone liked the chance given to everyone to earn booster steps for warscore by playing and not buying them and it was a really nice idea also given the difficulty for some to reach 40,000,000 to close warscore. I would improve the final prize once there were useful plates as a prize that gave everyone the desire to close the warscore I do not understand why they were no longer put, I also liked the idea of the second contest linked to the feud by winning a meeting with the legend although I would have given more points for each win. In the action of the feuding game I did not find problems of freezes or freezes so much better than the last feud. In conclusion, in my opinion, the new initiatives are excellent but everything can be improved.

Overall I liked the event even though I did not get the contest superstar. I appreciate the steps being attainable for free through the tour. This made the feud more fair and balanced for F2P players. I was able max the warscore contest and liked the separate CSS event to earn even more rewards. I did not have any technical issues this feud which I am extremely happy about!! It had been really annoying the past few feud events when you had to back out to the main screen and go back in to find out if you were actually in a match. I appreciate the increase in rewards, I hope this continues and increases considerably with the amount of resources it now takes to level up a 6s.
the one issue I do have is how often the AI is able to pull off a submission escape with the escape artist plate. Several times I’ve had a match up in which the plate went off T1 every time for the AI and made my submission move useless and I lost my superstar way too often because I could never drain the AIs mp on their move set.
thanks!!

Overall, the contest was pretty solid. Required characters were pretty common with two very rare so most of the points/rewards were easily obtainable. Warscore contest was easy in my opinion as far as maxing so that's good. I enjoyed the feud and the events. I believe everyone should be pretty satisfied

I enjoyed this event
The new element of grind to the feud was very nice, i had enough bonus characters to only need to grind out 200 lol. I managed it but i had a 6 star sika with titan plate, i feel for some this wouldnt have been achievable.
I liked the fact I nearly maxed the solo contest without any spend.
Prizes in all milestones where nice and lots of coins where given,
Feud steps didn't seem overly worth it this time if you were grinding out the 200 matches as you would naturally complete the warscore but they were nice to have for the extra score to help with leader boarding.
Feud steps were a little expensive to upgrade which negates the amount of coins in the solo milestones (to some degree) which is a little annoying however I can see that its a players choice whether to use them or not.
I am loving the amount of shards been given to help with 6 star enhances. I'd love to see these in all contests leaderboards etc.
Feud performance for me was good no visible issues that I could tell making the process easier.
Improvements to be made?
For us in the uk the start time of this feud was perfect at 11pm, I feel a permanent tweak of the Feud start time could benefit most.

I really liked the organization of the event

This event overall was a positive event. The requirements, contest superstars and rewards (compared to recent feud events) were all great. Feud perks in tours and milestones was a great addition. Having the option to pick and how you wanted to advance in the event was also great. Some could focus mainly on feud score or they could focus on using the css. Ultimately doing both at the same time yielded the best results. The prizing for completion made it feel like it was worth the effort. The only problem that I have with these events is how rare it has become for non spenders to get the new weekend superstars. There was a time where it felt like there was more luck involved/more strategy needed to recruit a new card. Now it is almost laid out that the new card can't be achieved without winning or having amazing luck from a bag. Being typically 700 or more shards away from a card at the end of an event where almost every aspect was mazimized it deflating. That along with being teased in the next contest by getting 150 more of the shards and still being nowhere near recruiting. All cards shouldn't be easy for everyone to get for free but they also shouldn't feel impossible to get for free. The tours were also well done.

One of the best events in a while. Great rewards worth the grind!

Positives
- Earning steps through playing the game. A very great, player-friendly concept that encouraged people to play all facets of the game and be engaged all weekend. Would love this to be the norm going forward!
- Putting in rare, valuable items that don't necessarily involve the chase card (4x Any Hogan Aff Strap) for maxing solo contest. These kinds of rewards really help soothe the aches of players that went through feud marathons only to potentially not get the chase card at the end of the weekend (more on that later).
- Keeping Shayna shards in the rotation for Warscore rewards to try and get us closer to unlocking her. (I did not personally unlock her this weekend and I'm worried that she will be exiting the rotation soon but I suppose I had my chance)
- New superstar competition allowed people to grind for more rewards while also making the contest superstars that are often ignored in warscore competitions much more valuable. A welcome addition to the usual feud contests and something that I'd love to see the developers continue to work on to provide an extra layer of feud lineup strategy.
- Tours had reasonable requirements for CSS
Negatives
- Visual glitches with tour rewards made it unclear if we were getting rewards for using CSS or not.
- Game performance during feud was better than the most recent flash feud but still substandard. The game stuttering due to changing music cues is a problem that permeates beyond feud, but is a negative problem that affects feud nonetheless.
- "Win a match with any [x] Era" scoring in the superstar competition could be tweaked a little higher, IMO - felt like a really big gap between haves and have nots for completing that competition. I scored 90 million in warscore and missed two milestones in the superstar competition, so functionally the 50 mil extra warscore was wasted because I didn't find enough opponents that matched the level that my legends era superstars were at - this is something I have almost zero control over due to matchmaking quirks. A good question for developers to ask players in the future is "What is an acceptable amount of time to grind for something like this?" - I think there are a variety of answers out there but it's good to start those conversations now.
- This is more white knighting for other players than myself, but I do find it ridiculous that some of my faction mates grinded their butts off during feud and are currently sweating whether they will get the weekend chase card or not as spenders continue to undo their hard work through simple dollars and cents. This is an ongoing issue with feud but there needs to be a clearer path for players to earn these cards like the old days, even if it's just through offering more shards to allow for a potential shard unlock in lieu of them acquiring full cards.

I think that the contest that you had to play a lot of matches or have certain superstars to get shards was a good addition.
I get that this is a business but it should be more obtainable the character if you don't finish in the top 50 or at least easier to get more shards and make it so in another event you can get some more shards to get the character.

The contest overall ok, it could have been much better.
Positives
1. For the first time you guys made it achievable to get the steps for the feuds without spending money which increased the war score and made it possible to max the faction feud. So that was very helpful. Hope you guys would continue making the steps attainable rather than spending money.
Negatives
2. On the flip side the other competition where you guys were giving the 20000 shards for Sheamus in the last milestone of 8 million was literally unattainable if we didn't have all the characters. I had only 3 of the 8 characters and despite all the grinding I could only reach 5 million points. The scoring unfortunately was very low. Only 10000 points per win. It would have been attainable if you guys could have made it to something like 50000/75000 per win. If you guys want us to grind it out please make the scoring per win attainable and not so low.
On the whole this feud was alright in some places but could have been better in other places.

Overall this weekend's event was enjoyable. The tours were fine and plenty of solo points available if you had the required characters, which were not overly restrictive. Nicely done there.
The addition of the feud steps in the tours and a fairly easily achievable solo milestone was a FANTASTIC addition and should be the norm going forward. That allows everyone to be on a level playing field without a pay to win bonus on top of big spenders already having an advantage of roster option/strap options etc. Well done.
The feud was fine and I did not have any performance issues throughout so that was welcome. As for feud perks, I don't mind the one click sub win option disappearing as an every feud thing but I do think that feud perks should rotate from month to month to encourage more roster options being usable in feuds.
I continue to not expect to ever get the new character on release weekend as it is generally unobtainable for anyone who is not spending a bunch of money which is disappointing especially with the seemingly reduced chances of getting the character from a bag. We used to see at least 1 or 2 folks (sometimes a couple more) pulling the character from the bags each event but we haven't seen any for a long time despite being a top 30 faction that maxes most events so there are plenty of "chances" available.
Overall an enjoyable event with a few things I'd like to see changed but a net positive in comparison to some recent events.

Overall a better feud experience than those I've had recently.
Appreciate the new solo feud rewards but I think it needs to be more balanced to allow it to be grinded.
Feud performed much better though I see that was not everyone's experience.
The tours have been miserably bad all year and this one was worse yet. Bring back last years format where we got bags for every boss battle. Last year if I didn't get at least half of the shards I must have had a rough weekend...this year...if I even get to half its a miracle. Poor trend.
Last year I was able to get several of the weekend characters on bag pulls. Not many, but a few. This year...none. And I dont see my faction mates bragging so its not just me. Poor trend.
I'd give this a solid 6/10. Would probably have been an 8 or 9 if it was under last year's format.

The superstar challenge was a nice addition. A grind component for 6* tokens and gave added incentive after 40 million warscore. The other items weren’t much different, but kudos for that change in particular.

I like the idea of the grind sub-event. The rewards from it were good if you were willing to put in the work. It even got me Sheamus finally! I didn't have all of the contest characters so I had to put in about 15 hours of feuding to max the grind event. Phew!
The feud itself I found good although many of my friends and faction mates disliked the requirements. I like the idea of these themed feuds where it's legend-centric or whatever. But it also disincentivizes a lot of characters people have worked on specifically for feuding.
Rewards were really good or at least a step in the right direction. The real prize being that 4 slot Hogan affiliation strap. I'd like to see prizes like this in the future. Maybe it would incentivize people to feud more than just getting to 40 million and calling it quits.
It's always nice having the contest superstars for the tours and I think having multiple characters like a freebie, a kind of rare, and a extremely rare character is also welcomed.
FOR THE BRAND!!!
