The good - Character looks good and strong, a decent amount of shards accrued so far.

The showdown itself I find a bit monotonous even with strong promoters it gets tiresome on the first evening (8pm UK start time)

The bad for me is the prizewall, I will hit the last milestone before the bonuses but I would still need to spend well over £1,000 to max the event. I was only missing 2 CSS and I currently have around 8k in currency. To get a plate you have to hit the last milestone which means spending gross amounts of money. But with only getting a tiny amount for the prizewall it makes me wonder if I'll even bother to play the event with the same setup.

Overall, it's a no from me.

You know if you use that coaching ability on a player and you face an opponent or on tour that has perks . It will wipe that coaching ability out.

i am a play guy. But I really appreciate the updates. Like speed and auto mode pretty cool. I don’t know how much I ever use that.

The boss battles was fun this week. It was a little freezy. But they fixed it this weekend.

I love how this game grows and evolves every so often.

Even the people look better. Thank you

  • Good event overall. Zambianca looks great and previews seem exciting. My concern with the event was even spending over $100, it was not possible to even hit the last “free” milestone, let alone the “bonus.”

I I would love to get zBianca as my zombie female roster is rough and she would lead the pack.

zBianca looks fun, also nice character model.

SD event was no big difference to the others lately. Here it was just not easy to get the bonus points as all of the bonus characters needed were the pay walled ones (only was able to do the 20 of each required class plus the 60 battles with Zombies).

Again, the community shows no big interest in supporting each other as the defense set by 90% of us was high. Considering how fast you can lose the noto gathered, it would be easy to gain them back when we start to care to hold each others back (and no, that on the other hand wouldn't mean to erase any faction competition as the big points that differ from Top 20 to the rest of the world are pay walled, too).

On each SD event it's almost always the same: first 4 to 8 hours is trying to get beyond the 1k mark, losing noto when reaching the 1k mark on a ridiculous fast rate (no matter if I put on high or low defense, but of course matter when trying to get them back on the "revenge" battles when facing lots of Top Tier 6 star opponents). Hours 8 to 12 is trying to get the noto needed to max the first round (over 1.4k) in order to get the highest SD coin bonus for the whole week. Then the actual bonus points for the event grinding starts (when not already accomplished within the first 12 hours of SD battles) and some time later the community start to lower the defense, the normal and revenge battles are getting easier like compared when having only around 200 to 800 noto. Just shows me how twisted the SD event's algorithm is working.

Another example that shows that SD as a whole needs improvements, the revenge part; when I can see how fast my noto is dropping after each battle I've accomplished, then checking the log just to see that half of the battles are not available for revenge or not tracked at all on log screen (by making quick calculations of before / after noto points). That almost only applies to noto between 1k and 1.4k... once you topped that noto cap the match making is easier but in that range of 1k to 1.4k I have to "refresh" match making many times to get a decent match ready.

    It was interesting event overall.

Showdown with mixed superstars is always good idea, but i prefer male superstars showdown.

Didn't occur any lags or disconnection during this event.

Speed and auto mode is great idea so we can faster finish some battles.

ZBianca looking great and is strong character.

Keep it up improving this game.

    Best regards.

Feedback for zEST SD Scrimmage Event

    Positives

    • A nice addition to the women's zombie with zBianca, however the class should have been something different to cover other types so there's more range as there's still no women's zombie with Acro, Tech and SB (I think...)
    • The solo tours were good. Nothing too overly restrictive except for the challenge match which I will expand on the negative feedback and requirements were doable. Also like the fact that the CSS were giving faction points so it's not costing me if I didn't want to complete the tour with a CSS.
    • The solo rewards were good and able to achieve milestone 21 out of 24 without any spend. Best part is being able to recruit Bobby Lashley Dominator from previous Scrimmage SD.
    • Faction event was same old with no change so nothing new there.
    • No issues with SD and match-making so still running consistently smooth.

    Negatives

    • On the blog, it was noted there were 25 free shards under Stamp but the 3 daily claim from stamps had no shards. Was this an error?
    • Also, I don't think you can classify Free shards if they require a CSS superstar for example not everyone has zRhea so I believe that should fall under Premium Shard count. Hence I ended up with 1230 shards as I dont have zRhea to get the 120 shards that's considered "free". zRhea should not have been the CSS requirement but rather any Bianca as that would have made more sense.
    • Comparing to last month, there were more shards handed out for Bobby and not so much for zBianca.
    • The Prizewall for Scrimmage SD is starting to get ridiculous with the cost requirements and the number of shards given out compared to what it was when it was first introduced. I remember you could buy atleast 100 shards but now it's barely any with 25 and 50 shards max.

Overall, another same old SD scrimmage event and nothing new to be excited about. Feels like something new needs to be added for Showdown otherwise it will start getting stale and repetitive. Why not revamp the SD shop entirely to reward more shards. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one hoarding all my SD coins as I have plenty in hand but no desire to get anything from the Shop as I don't have anything else I need. The rewards are very much outdated and needs to be scaled to keep in line with current meta.

  • I like that showdown events now focus on more different bonus characters. This makes it more interesting to play more matches.

A good twist might be to switch from female/male to male/female in the middle of the event.

Negative were some instabilities during the event so I got kicked out of some matches. This is always frustrating.

Tour event was ok. There was a fair chance for some bonuses, more bonus for bigger spenders is what the game is built on.

zBianca looks ok, but as I'm not a big fan of her, it's more interesting to get here because she is a strong character and I'm not too well equiped with female zombies.

Okay fine, I'll stop moping and write a positive review. Because all-in-all, it was a pretty good event. And I'm not just saying that because I was able to shard my way into getting Bianca (so don't put me in the running for that).

    • First off, something that's been overdue - I'm usually the first to moan about the supply flow in terms of the core resources (usually coin/TP) in events and how it can be unsustainable in recent months but as of about a month or so ago I can safely say that it finally feels like I have enough resources to - god forbid - work on a character I want to work on instead of hyperoptimizing on my most needed guys and nothing else. Granted, some of this wasn't intentional (i.e. 20k TP bug) but honestly a reward like that was a shot in the arm to a lot of people. Shards were also in pretty decent supply given everything, and for the first time in a bit in a scrimmage event (which I and others have come to associate with easier to get characters to keep a mid-level roster's head above water) it didn't feel like the given character was on the other side of a 200 dollar purchase.
    • zBianca, I will have to admit, is one of the better looking women's zombies, and there's more to her than just taking her striker model and painting her skin green. It does totally copy the gear from her striker model, but given everything was done well I'm willing to overlook that total nitpick on my end.
    • Tours were the usual fare, and this time it was for faction points so if you didn't have Super Stacy (and didn't want to bang you head against the wall with zSasha) that wasn't a huge deal. Kinda unessential aside from the shards, but the shard payoff was good.
    • Showdown itself was fine, but getting to 1400 is a slog. Granted I haven't focused much on my IOW showdown trainers, so that's my fault.
    • Still wish there was more to the prize wall, as the medallions were the one thing I felt was seriously missing from the event - barely enough to get Bianca in the free, and if you wanted anything more expensive good luck. The shard quantities in general also feel like barely anything - only a chance at 25 to 50 shards every month when a recruit is 1,600, and characters aren't guaranteed to be in the shop? Why are zombie straps so expensive when it's easy to get a modern era belt that can potentially reroll the same effects?
    • It's a bit late to bring this up, but I'm not really okay with this new batch of zombies to have this fantastic (some might say vital) coach ability to buff trap/countdown moves to a significant extent - not so much because one of them might be rare and I won't get them right away, but because zombies are already super limited in their distribution. I'd be like locking the MP bonus trainers to an August MLC, or the gem damage coaches to a Christmas MLC.

Character is on par with what has been released thus far...

The actual Showdown was a bit of a grind...even with higher tier superstars....

The event Tour was manageable even though Super Stacey was a bonus superstar & not zRhea or zAsuka....that was a bit of a let down...

  • It sucked once again unless you pay big money no way you could get shards or pull her

Top diva ever seen. Hope I’ll get her soon.

  • I enjoyed playing the contest! zBianca seem's like a very decent character to have for my roster.

SD prize wall is extremely polarising

    A) spend/do bare minimum, get some coins and maybe a strap

    B) max out SD (missing 2 CCS) spend <$200 get maybe 50-100 shards, or strap (likely sold)

    C) spend >$200 (or lucky AF pulling new characters within 24h) and get the awesome plate you want

I had 56k to spend. Needs to be a decent plate available for that, doesn't have to be the newest shiny, but decent from the past year.

This contest was decent. The showdown tournament had the normal level of difficulty with the rare css superstars not preventing most players from being able to obtain all the regular rewards. The tour difficulty was also standard and fine. The prizewall was not exciting. The limited shards for superstars is disappointing and the inability to burn all of the prizewall currency on items of any value is also disappointing.

Bring back some plates like all hearts so we can grab them. The pricing for plates was too high for this event.

  • The model for Zombie Bianca looks good, and I got a decent amount of shards for my level. I think the area that could use most improvement is the prizewall. Not being able to get anything other than coins even though I got most of the free milestones is a bummer. Also while there were a good amount of free shards going around, who knows when I’ll be able to collect more to unlock her. Pretty good event overall

My take on this event and in every showdown event is that there are a lot of points lost because of all the premium superstars required. I don't mind playing more if It means getting the best rewards.

Another thing that bothered me this event is the prizewall because I didn't get enough points to even get some shards so I could only get some coins and I couldn't use most of my currency. At least some extra TP to exchange will be amazing.

The Showdown competiton was fine, but there shouldn’t be a cap on showdown coins when you basically limit people to a thousand or so coins a day in the regular showdown mode. The rewards for the contest as a whole aren’t much, giving little motivation to compete in the competitions and contents.

  • Robison

Overall the event was fine outside of the prize wall. For anyone who had all of the prize wall characters outside of Bianca, there was not much value in the prize wall tokens. All skill plates were priced to max the event. It would be nice for players to have options for some affordable skill plates as well.

    IGN: Mr Robison

  • Short and simple.

The character looked really good. The character requirements for the tours and showdown were a little tough because of not having many of the new Zombies. The other thing is the prize wall could have had a few cheaper items because of not having the required characters I didn’t get many shards.

Other than that, it was a solid event with very reachable milestones if you have the required characters.
