Contest need to be more weighted for the player. Newer players can only play easy mode because of skill set. Or not at all because they don't have specific guys yet. You need "x" to play. Cool I don't have "x" moving on.

This was a fun event after a long time enjoyed it.

I'll start with the showdown it's impossible to achieve 1400 points in Showdown cause those extra perks ( theory sd perks) we're useless and almost impossible for many of us also the 6stars are gonna be a problem now as 80% aren't gonna be able to defeat those defenses hope their is something that can make it balanced for everyone in showdown.

The solo contest was fun and really liked doing something this solo contest was perfect you should have more like these.

Faction Contest pretty easy and fun but the same thing. The problem is the odds of getting a character from those bags of cases . Pls improve the odds not only of the bags but of keys pulls, cash pulls and even paid pulls we need new characters added in the pulls.

Over all the Contest was fun now hoping something extremely good for the zombie event.

One more concert I have is about the skill plates that we get in the shop should be changed or new plates should be added in those .

Over all this event was a success in my opinion.

I think that the contest was fun, however when you get to a certain point you only could win with a 6 star superstar, and those are impossible to get, I also dislike that you eliminated the daily rewards in the website, those were super helpful

    Good morning,

I thought the event was pretty cool. The rewards seemed to line up better with the event and difficulty. The character itself seems pretty dang good, but didn’t have my characters leveled enough to get far on the shards.

Keep the events coming. I will keep playing.

  • I like the info about how many shards are available and the tours.

but honestly this is and was the only positive thing I come up with.

the perks for one showdown is ridiculous or you grind to get them without any good rewards or paying 50 dollar make them for the whole mlc or don’t use it ever again. What I also didn’t like is the almost weekly f*ck up by scopely.

Where if it’s in benefit of the players it can be switch off in minutes and others where it’s beneficial for scopely it takes weeks. I don’t even care it but just fix them on both sides, so we can at least enjoy the game as intended.

ps work on tag link images was very frustrating to check it every time

    Feedback for Theory SD Contest

    Positives

    • Brand new character is always a welcomed addition as opposed to an existing character and just introduced as another version. An interesting character for sure and was glad I'm able to acquire close to 1400 shards that were deemed available for "free".
    • The solo contest structure was great and being able to complete and get to milestone 13 without any spending is always well-received.
    • Was hoping to get the Titan Crest skill plate this time but still out of reach unless you spent but glad to be able to acquire the Deadman Sigil Skill Plate.
    • The required number of character for SD was reasonable with the amount required and considering it required a tag link then that means it was more accessible.
    • Faction event was as usual structured well with inclusion of talent up points.
    • No issues with SD and match-ups was fine.
    • The prizewall structure had a lot of good rewards which seemed well re-warding for taking the time out to grind out the SD event.

    Negatives

    • The constant number of issues we're having to go through every weekend is starting to annoy people. Hope the fix is going to be worth the wait and it will be fair for everyone.
    • The faction chests somehow entices people into thinking they could atleast acquire shards for Rocker Shawn or No Chance in Hell Vince but when you open them you're only getting measly shards for characters that's already commonly available.
    • The Limited Blitz for a limited time SD felt like an un-necessary addition. Those who had a decent sized roster would not require this perk to complete SD. I for one initially thought this was great and was prepared to grind until I realised, it's not worth the time and effort and I'm glad I made the right call. I'm not against it but don't see the value or point for me personally. Unless this gave out more points and was less grindy I could have seen the benefit of it.

All in all, this was another standard SD event which would have gone well had it not been for the bag screw up. Keeping my eyes and ears peeled on how this will be handled and I'm going to hope it will be similar to last month's Ultimate Warrior chase screw-up and we get a guaranteed shot at acquiring next week's weekend superstar.

This was a standard showdown event. I appreciated that the tours were simple with reasonable css requirements. I was happy to finally have a chance to use one of my iow characters as a css. The showdown requirements were decent also. The additional perks through blitz or purchase felt unnecessary. It is fine to have them available but they really didn't hold and value and would cost players time/money and a heavy amount of coin to use just for the weekend. It would've been more enticing if in game resources weren't needed to activate them after acquiring them or if the blitz gave out coins too to cover the cost. The prizewall was enticing and it is always nice to have skill plates in range to acquire by doing the basic showdown play.

    1. You continually (5+ years) put functions of the game "live" clearly without any quality control. Due diligence is a concept beyond you

    2. CCS characters are just a generic picture. Update your pictures and character Links

    3. Why does Theory look like Mr. Potato Head?

the event as a whole always works. The adding more characters needed is a fine add.

but there is many small issues with the event. Even spending just a little gets you to the next to last milestone and still need about 500k more of your a free player you need 1000k more for that last milestone and that’s a ton of dough. The milestones need to be rescaled. The amount of solo points and fraction points in the tours are insanely low and need to be adjusted and finally the 3am or 2am during fall back hours needs to be addressed. No one wants to stay up that late in any time zone to make sure they don’t get hit and can max going into early Sunday morning hours. It should be no later than 11pm or 12am that the SD coins should generate in any time zone. It’s meant to be a game not meant to drain our life. Please fix the time the coins are generated especially now with 6’s in play it’s harder than ever to stay above 1400.

Standard sd weekend event...use css guys get ur points rinse repeat.

As far as extra perks if you are ffp then you could get them maxed for grinding which nice change, but you could also spend to get them to bypass the grind or just not do them. I dont care either way if they keep it or not. Wasnt really a game changer.

You guys need to start testing your events before it goes live. Yet again there was issues with the event. Every time you do an event theres issues. Then your like oh sorry about it. If anyone in this game didcthat on our jobs over and over like clockwork we be fired. Theres no teason to have issues everytime.

I didn't like this contest at all. I got one bag of 25 shards from the website, that was it. When the faction contest was done, I would get Otis shards, and not Theory's who's contest it is. Saturday and sunday the game was unplayable due to a 2X rewards ad that kept popping up after everything I did. I am not going to spend money on this game, as I was burned before by your gambling mechanics.

Although there is a blog that tells you, nobody wants to toggle back and forth to the blog. The link list that drops down still needs to be more specific and don't get me started on when the link list is so long you can't even see the whole thing on the screen. Instead of telling us the multiple places to find the answer try simplifying the options available. I shouldn't have to scroll through 50 characters to see who is on said list nor toggle through a blog. If I hit the C everything I need to know should be there or just get rid of it altogether

  • Diddy0709

The SD was "OK" but giving us 50+ blitzes to run for perks on top of tours really is just saying hey if you want perks and have a life just drop $50 and move on. It really shouldn't be that way. There was no need to have more perks AND then make them so expensive to max as if you're giving out resources like candy. I think the extra perks is a bit much and this is coming from someone who was only 1 ms from maxing the event. I feel there was very little value to the prize after the Taker plate for the 25-30k range. In a nutshell do away with the extra perks because it's perk overload and really eats into resources for a single event. It's easy to say if you don't want them or can't afford them then don't buy them. But then you're also saying if you don't get them good luck competing once you hit those 6s that's likely loaded with buy me perks

I thought this weekend showdown was one of the better ones in a long time.

The tours had a variety of required people allowing you to get more points and resources which was great.

The required superstars for event points points was also more widespread and not so specific I hope this keeps up I thought this was fantastic.

It's certainly more challenging hitting hitting higher points when you start facing 6 star opponents. I don't have one yet so I had to be careful with who I was facing and who I was using.

The new showdown perk seemed like a great idea I don't have that many blitz tickets so I wasn't able to get many. If I did I probably would have went for a couple of them.

I really like letting us know on the blog how many free shards are available that way we can plan what we would like to do if we do want to go for that character.

I really do like the prize wall that has been around for a number of showdowns now.

Hopefully all these positives remain the same and show down tournaments moving forward.

    Thanks

This showdown was brutal. The wall of 6 stars came WAY too early. The new perks made this tournament absolutely horrendous to play. The new perks are unnecessary. Scopely needs to find the game balance between monetization and FUN. This game over indexes towards making players spend money to have "fun". I do not want to spend $$$ or grind 347642 blitzes for perks on top of the perks I already spent for. We WILL spend our money if we see value and FUN. Right now it feels like we're being bullied into spending for the standard experience otherwise playing is going to be a nightmare.

  • Similar to the Carmella which was good, this event did improve from that, i lied the amount of shards for Theory, this is pretty good improvment from the last events, tours were good, rewards were a bit better in TP i lied that, the medallions store face better rewards specially in TP and coins but the price for the plates were the Best thing, way cheaper then the other events i really liked that, about the SD characters for the bonus points were also good, some free characters and tag teams which give us a chance to do with at least 2 players, for this event i would give 8/10.

Mostly a standard showdown event with a couple of major issues/talking points:

    Special Perks

    • My big problem with these perks is that they don’t actually help to achieve any actual rewards or milestones, so what’s the point? I’m absolutely not spending money or my time/resources just to make a few matches a bit easier.
    • The other big problem here is that with the 6sb rollout, many players were already struggling to make the 1400 mark and now they have to compete against super perks. If they want to keep up, they need to spend or do a stupid number of blitz. Gross.
    • How to fix this: make a new 1800 league. Have the SD coins earned from finishing in this league allow players to max the weekend solo event and get the bonus event rewards. This gives players an incentive to have perks and compete for the higher league but also protects lower level players aiming for 1400 and their usual regular event rewards. Right now, everyone loses with this change.

    Tour Bag Issue:

    • This hasn’t been resolved yet so subject to change and all that. Very likely those who got it will feel ripped off to lose something they earned, or those who didn’t have the chance to get it in the 18 minute window will feel very hard done by. The only solution I see working here is something along the lines of the Bulldog event. Yes it affects sales on this release, but honestly that seems fair if you can’t be bothered to test or check any of these broken events. Make it difficult but give everyone a shot at the poster.

    Faction Event

    • Talent Up was back to a more reasonable level, good to see. Rewards were nothing to get excited about, as usual. I’m not even entirely sure why these faction events exist any more to be honest.

    Tours

    • Aside from the bags mess up, tours were again the strong point of the event.

    CSS/Tag Links

    • Please just add some simple logos or text for tag teams. I don’t want to have to open a browser on a second device just to check the blog for the list of characters.

Sucks, just like every showdown. Only thing different this time was u made it harder for one's not spending by putting special showdown perks that was either purxhase or you had to spend the day doing a blitz that only give out 30 turnbuckles. Lol was a easy pass for me thus weekend. So I say thanks to you. I'm just glad yall keep the copy n paste events going its helping several thats been playing for a long time to realize that the game isn't fun anymore. Need to really add more tours for resources.

Hate having to go to blog to see what the superstars needed are. I Plat the game all the stuff you post on Twitter u should be able to send to all that play the game by in game messaging as well.

Positives - Prize wall containing numerous rare skill plates as well as characters at 5 star. A new character instead of a wrestler we already have multiple versions of. Blog post displaying how many shards are available for free.

Negatives - Paid perks, which wouldn’t have been too bad but the blitz grind was terrible value for time. The contest superstar bonus points with the generic image made it difficult to see quickly who I still needed to showdown with for points… team/faction logos would be beneficial.

The biggest concerns for me this weekend were the special perks and the tour error. The number of blitzes needed to get one perk was ridiculous, let alone the Perks themselves. They also not have been tied to the solo contest.

The fact that there was another tour issue would be funny if it wasn’t almost commonplace at this point. I have 0 confidence that the shard count will be fixed easily. I look forward to the compensation, but I feel like people will be penalized again for the ineptitude of the company.

The SD event for Theory is like the others to me. Get what you can and forget the game afterwards.

The tours I felt was the best thing from this weekend as I could use my 5sg NCIH Vince for the first tour and had a lot of resources.

The SD tournament I felt was a real grind, having to rely on my faction’s spreadsheet for help on what those generic symbols was. The 6s wall really did not bother me as they were a easy skip.

The prizewall was great for me as I finally got a deadman sigil plate for the first time and have a lot of options on where to go with it. I was disappointed by the high cost of Acrobat DX HHH shards, but getting the plate and having choices did lessen that said disappointment.

The solo event I felt was missing some shards of Theory. I only ended up with 1335 shards, which I did not get the prizewall shards, so I’m shorted 40 shards based on the blog’s total.

The faction event was a pure TU to get your 1%. Why not put at least the minimum 1% of the faction event’s maximum in the tours? Not everyone has enough people to work on for the TU points. The person can then decide to whether spin the loot to get that missing CSS for their 1% or use some resources for TU. I felt getting 50k in TU was a bit excessive.

Overall, an average SD event I come to expect from Scopely. The new perk buying did not bother me nor did I bother to get the 50 dollar pack or do tons of blitzes… I got other things to do besides maxing SD and do the tours. To me, the new perks were a big fail.

  • bbrown5608

My issue with the showdown is 2 things the added showdown perks and the 6 star wall. We already have enough showdown perks in the game that cost lots of coins. Why make limited time showdown perks that cost a lot of coin but you only get them for one event. And not only that you have to blitz a lot to get enough turnbuckles for the perks. There’s already enough going on in the game, adding more features just screw’s things up. The other issue is the 6 star wall in showdown. Not many of us have 6 star characters so why when I hit 1000 in showdown is it only 6 star guys from here on out. It makes it near impossible to max the showdown coin event. At least make it easier to acquire 6 star guys, 4000 shards plus the tokens is a lot to get someone to 6 star. At least make it shards by class and not class and style.

This feedback is being provided before compensation (if there is any) for the Theory shard bag issue in the hell tour released on Saturday.

I saw many players with the "limited-time" showdown perks that were on offer this weekend. I've had some ideas to tweak showdown in the past, but kept them to myself as I believed that the development team was on auto-pilot with the mode. But these new perks show me that there is attention being paid to showdown, so while the iron is hot, let me strike it:

    • Monetizing idea: Offer "shields" to players to protect their notoriety while they are away from their devices. These can be purchased either with real money and/or in-game currency and there can be a variety of durations on the shields (maybe 1/8/24 hours) - during this time, any attacks on a shielded player do not count against their notoriety. However, if they launch an attack on offense before the shield expires, the shield is broken.
    • Quality of life idea: Include gem defense in pre-match tool tip calculations. If the Bushwhackers tag link is going to leave me dealing one damage per gem, I'd like to know that before I go into the match, similar to how offensive perks/coaches/trainers are calculated before the match. This would also be useful for me when I use the Bushwhackers or gem defense from an offensive standpoint.
    • Quality of life idea: Generate art for tag teams to replace the generic green "link" image. Many tag teams have their own logos, such as the Street Profits. Even providing a single image of one of the tag team members would be enough for some players and would certainly be an improvement over.
    • Suggestion if previous idea is not a development priority over monetizing every facet of showdown twice over: Do not include generic "show" tag links in contests where the rest of the contest superstars are part of tag links that don't have unique images. It would have been easier to sort through everything if we didn't have to also get past every Tom and Dick with a Raw link.
    • Suggestion: Add new items to the showdown shop like boss breaker coins, or tweak the chances to get "mega" items from the shop like big TP packs, etc. The showdown coin stockpile is very real.

    Now for the event itself:

Tours - The requirements were pretty generous, especially with the challenge tour. And even aside from the colossal player-beneficial mistake on the Otis hell tour, rewards were pretty good, especially in terms of econ.

Showdown - 6-stars appeared way too early in the matchmaking, at least for me personally. Other than that, it was showdown with perks that were a little more annoying than they usually are. I didn't have fun, but I survived.

Faction Contest - pretty straightforward, decent rewards, didn't have a timer that was changed from the blog to live and then changed back to reflect the blog. Cool!

Solo Contest - Decent for econ, a few Theory shards here and there for those of us who didn't get to the bag glitch in time. Would like to see boss breaker coins become part of the rewards more often.

Blitz - I didn't touch it because I knew how many people would spend $50 to skip it and there was nothing else bringing me to the mode (no nodes that rewarded econ or briefcase keys or really anything)

Mixed feelings on the event. Firstly seems a top character would I would love in my roster.

Solo Tour - I found pretty easy to do, the Vince and Theory tag team match was challenging to say the least, that's probably a credit to how good Theory and Vince are at 5 star Gold for sure. The victory tour i think could have waited until the end of the MLC where you put the victory tours, another tour with the chance at premium bag would have been preferred in my opinion.

Showdown - I found this to be pretty much as expected, unless you are going to sit for hours on end with your device plugged into an electrical socket, getting all the bonuses and using all of the characters was a bit of a grind. Now with the inclusion of 6 star characters and top 100 players having the resources, your defence doesn't stand much of a chance,. Getting that balance of gaining and loosing notoriety to get over the 1400 doesn't seem achievable.

I am sure everyone else would agree that the tabs needed some attention, we shouldn't be switching between the game and the blog, or writing down numbers and names on paper in 2022 for a mobile game. Whenever the game would close down and re-open, milestones that have been finished came back up again in the tab menu, for example all ten matches were done with LWO, but there are two boxes with the same information, only one is being counted per fight, the other stays at 0. This very confusing when you're trying to figure out what fights are left and who with!

Blitz and Perks - I purchased one perk which I felt during the weekend made no difference whatsoever. The blitz rewards were that little it kinda forced you to buy the pack from the store.

Regrettably I purchased 3 specials from the portal giving a total of 220 pulls, I did not pull Theory, which after spending $499 you do feel your chances should be higher indeed, which you get to a point where you have to start to playing without purchasing because what's the point? Only one new character out of 220 pulls...

Once I reached milestone 9, the gap between 9 and 10 was ridiculous, worked out at over 800k points needed. Even doing the rest of the bonus characters and purchasing a $199.99 pack, you still was not even close in reaching it.

I did the grind, got 9/15, 1780/2000 shards.

At the cost of over $500, phone glued to my hand & increased energy bill.

    I've started playing WWE Supercard...

I like the new idea of letting us know how many free shards are available. This makes us easier to calculate the shards count

    BUT

I don’t like the victory tour for the released cards during their come out event.

  • I loved showdown, it was very challenging staying above 1400.

    Thie event was Ok.

    1. Not enough shards to chase or buy to get theory without spending thousands
    2. The loot was the worst I’ve seen in years of playing this game. So that can be improved greatly.
    3. I did like the new showdown perks it was a fun addition.
    4. The tour bag giving out many shards , of course that could be fixed and improved not to happen again.
    5. I did enjoy seeing bags giving the superstar again and not just only shards of the superstar. Definitely keep that going.
