I thought the play was really good. I believe the prizes could’ve pushed towards getting at least a 3SB King Woods. Keep up the good work

Alright here we go with another one of these.

as always I’ll start with the good

i will say the amount of points given out in rewards for the solo contest where much better. It didn’t feel like I was busting my butt for very few rewards. That was very nice to see. Also the superstars or links that where needed for war score points where also much more fair I thought. I will say for a feud it was very short compared to most feuds which I thought really stunk.

ok so now for the bad.

mom going to start with the loot pulls. You guys are getting way to carried away with the shards we can convert. I don’t spend money to get 10,000 shards of uselessness. These shards are still useless in my opinion. The trade in value is absolutely awful. I give you a example trying to get my riddle to 6S and I have about 25,000 tech shards and 850 riddle shards when I go to convert I’m still 1200 shards away. We’re literally spending about $4 a pull and if your gonna look at the convert value we’re getting Pennie’s on the dollar. I’m no dummie if this was a stock I would of gotten rid or it a while ago.

now for solo the points and rewards where very well balanced I thought but these warscore contest are getting way out of hand it’s like hey come play for 10 hours to walk away with a white belt and a plate that really is way over rated. The fact you have to play about 8 hours (a work shift) and not even max the contest with ALL the bonus superstars is just Ludacris.

now lets get to the Release character shard contest. So you put a 5SB release superstar card in the rewards if we are able to get 3,000 shards. You do know if we got to 3,000 shards we would already have the card right? After speaking with a lot of the community members we ALL feel that was a half a$$ attempt to make it look like the card was actually obtainable. That was really weak.

also I do have one negative thing when it comes to the solo contest. Although there where a lot more solo points available it still cost around $400 to max the solo event. I had all the bonus superstars which meant I got every single solo point possible in the tours and I also spent $220 , YEA $220 which is a paycheck for some people and I was still two milestones short of maxing. That is just awful. Literally legally robbing us. Here’s how I would break down this issue. $220 (a small paycheck)

    total hours played 12 hours

so basically your charging a paycheck and a day and a half of work and we don’t even max the rewards. Now I don’t ever spend as much as I did this weekend. I was 101 shards away from tech Roman who is the only card I’ve ever chased. I spent $180 on pulls and got 50 shards twice so I said I was done being 1 shard away and then Sunday there is a $20 pack with 50 shards so I bought it. Now that I have the card of my favorite it’s very unlikely I will I will spend more than $20 a weekend. You guys had made the cost of everything as bad as the White House has made the cost of living in the United States. If you guys actually made these things more obtainable you know we’d probably spend more if we actually felt like we got our moneys worth.

hopefully the amount of points available in solo contest continue to be like they where this event cause for once they where fair to the player. Same with the requirements for warscore bonus.

as discussed on our podcast today we all feel like we won’t be this lucky again but hopefully we’re wrong.

overall this event was much better than usual but still those warscore prizes and and amount of time needed to reach them need to change. If you expect us to play for 12 hours we need more than a white belt and over rated skill plate.

EVENT STRUCTURE: There were so many solo contest points to obtain and a good amount of resources in tours and milestones. The contest with Woods shards collecting was also great.

The 100k points per first time feud win was a great boost for Warscore. The feud was also great. No red rings in or glitches appeared for me.

CONTEST SUPERSTARS: not a huge fan of your selection. There are only a few select ones that can be considered "good" nWo and "good" WCW, so next time try not to pick such garbage tag links

One of the biggest drawbacks I noticed was in the tours with the required new day and bloodline stables. They should have been in the secondary slot for those players who don’t have one of them leveled up. At least they would still be able to participate in the tour.

SHARD CONTEST: This was a nice addition with the opportunity to acquire between 1200 to 1800 shards for free during the weekend! This gave us extra prizes and decent leaderboard prizes for those of whom spend for it.

Overall a really good contest which should be used as a framework for future events to make them better for the community.

    Hi.

I would appreciate if the faction feud could last 24 hours, not only 20 hours.

Reason: the feud start in Europe during night and happen whole Sunday till evening.

If you are busy on Sunday, no chance to play, but you can play on Saturday evening.

    Cheers

  • Character is pretty strong..it regian his full health easily.

Starting the game with full health and ending the game with full health.

Only gem damage is less which make game lengthy.

Game wise gap between paid and f2p is increasing day by day.

Not s tier but A tier ss should to get able for f2p player.

Also MLC superstar is not get able for f2p so no meaning for going for mlc event.

Make sure mlc is gettable for f2p so game will be enjoyable for them also.

  • I have mixed feelings on the event. While it was laid out that the best chance of getting King Woods was spending cash, the tours and feud did have some decent rewards as well. There were some matches where my superstars weren’t leveled high enough to complete the tour, but that’s really on me for making that choice. Still, there was a way to still work on the tours part way because most had at least an older or free version of the character.

Do I think Scopely takes all of our issues into consideration when asking for feedback like this? I actually do, but I know they’re not going to implement everything at once. Example: Some said that it was impossible to max events, so eventually we were told that “you can earn this many shards in the event, and you can try for more with pulls for this price.” Some stated that the character bags had disappeared so they were brought back in limited quantities….not enough for people to pull all the shards for the character but enough for people to believe they have a chance to pull said superstar out of the bag (yes even if it is a small chance). The feedback won’t fix the game immediately but I’m sure as a community we still are being heard and all of our feedback is taken into account.

I used to be a paying player to the tune of $200-300 a month and honestly, I haven’t gotten much further than I would as a free player. Sure there was maybe one or two extra milestones I got, but usually it came at the price of many posters of characters I already had or the milestone loot was a belt I’d never use…that’s why it’s called a chance. Spending money never fully guarantees you will get everything they offer. I remember spending $250 one day when PH Drew was the featured superstar. You would think with over 100 pulls even a 1% chance that I could pull him…nope and didn’t end up getting that character till 2 years later when he wasn’t relevant. There was also a time where I spent $20 and pulled a 4sb “Fiend” with gear when he was featured. The luck is always there but never guaranteed. For the loot bags, I got lucky once and got Stevie Ray….however yes 99% of the time is always shards.

Whether I get every new reward or I decide to spend money here and there is irrelevant because in the end, I still enjoy playing the game. Yes a lot of my roster is old and outdated, but I have some that are still good and competitive.

All in all, the feuds and contests are made for us to have fun and win some stuff we didn’t have before. It won’t happen all the time, but one pull can make all the difference. Until then I stick with the motto of Learn, adapt, and overcome…..and then get my butt handed to me by a 5SG Kevin owens on turn one

I thought the feud was fine. Nothing special other than more people that get the special contest points. I do think that with the event tours, the required stable characters (new day and bloodline for this event) should have been the 2nd character and not the first. That way more people can play through all of the tour. It's not like the special contest superstar for their tour was the common superstar (ex: for the bloodline, the two contest superstars were tech Roman and Tech Jimmy. The common free character Acro Jey, was not the contest superstar). I thought the line bonuses were fair and the rewards were ok. The faction contest prizes need some upgrading. But I did really like the shard contest. I thought that was a really good addition. It made me want to get more shards even though I knew I wouldn't be able to get King Woods before the contest was over.

Happy with the contests and the feud performance.

The only thing I would like to see is a longer feud window.

I was lucky to have a good New Day character for both the faction fued and the tour. But I know a lot of people were not. I did not have a strong bloodline character, so I missed out in the tour for that particular circuit.

The part of the tour that was just vs King Woods is a structure I hope gets changed. Having to face the premier character, in the easiest mode, at 25 thousand talent points is just too much. what happened to the escalating difficulty scale that's everywhere else in the game?

The faction feud event was alright. I hate the timing. for my timezone it starts Saturday night and runs to Sunday afternoon. Because of that don't get to participate as much as I'd like, and as a result I've also been stuck in my league for a very long time.

There were so many contests and sub-contests (solo and faction) with this event that it was hard to keep track of what I was doing for what contest.

  • The event had several problems, in addition to being ultra restrictive, it was cloying. A very dull character who only came to cover up this month's bad event.

  • I enjoyed this contest and appreciated that there was a little flexibility with some of the required superstars (I.e.: any new day, any bloodline). The bonus points for superstars in feud to help reach faction feud solo milestones was a big help as well.

I wish there were more King Woods shards available throughout this contest to give us a realistic chance to recruit his poster. I fought hard to obtain as many shards as I could, but it feels like a disappointing end as the only realistic way to recruit King Woods was from Loot pulls or the rare poster pull in the basic bags.

  • I liked this event. I would like the Faction Feud page to have a clear button so if I want to change my feud team I can. Once you save your team you pretty much have to replace players you no longer want/need with characters your not going to use in the feud.

I actually liked that finally the people that we have been playing for long and have more roster can have special points or rewards compared to new players , but even if we have most of the wrestlers required it is almost impossible to achieve the top rewards so why do you offer something that is almost impossible to get , even buying with real money doesn’t make the difference so it makes me don’t want to spend any more .

it’s so easy to give us more rewards for the amount of time and money we spend in your game and you don’t , plus this last week we are experiencing so many technical issues in the game like internet sensor malfunctions and tour freezing that is also not fair that we cannot get the rewards or compensation for the problems and max we get HP that are good but not enough .

i have been playing for more than 4 years and I haven’t got a good prize in the bags or “random” rewards that are always shards and small prizes .

Agreed with most other comments. You have to be a very high level player to compete in these restricted events. It's fun playing with a fully loaded character, but I know I will never get him in the game.

    Solo contest

The solo contest was a step in the right direction. With that being said, I think that the term “free to play” needs to be redefined for some folks over at scopely. This game should be, for all intents and purposes, a free to play game. The amount of sheer time that this game demands alone, is enough to really drive home this fact. If a player is willing and able to put in the hours upon hours of work and dedication that it takes, they should theoretically be able to max any and every event. Time and hard work should be all that is required. The game moves at such a fast pace (ie 6 new characters per month) that it really doesn’t matter if a majority of players were able to earn the weekly characters. Understanding that you are a business and need to make money, I think that where players should pay is to get ahead in the game. Whether that be to complete a given event quicker or easier. There are so many avenues for revenue and the players who are in the top tier of spending are going to do so regardless.

Rewards continue to take a step in the right directions. Resources have improved tremendously and that is much appreciated. The prize wall having the previous weekly characters is a great new addition. My only gripe would be the available shards for “purchase” on those prize walls. 25 or 50 shards may get some of the larger spenders that new character, but for the majority it simply isn’t enough. It would be nice to be able to earn a minimum of 100 shards of any given character on these prize walls. It can be extremely frustrating for the “average” player to come up at around half of the required shards for any weekly character. Sometimes a bit more and sometimes a bit less but on average it seems to be right around half. What is the point in me spending so much of my valuable time and oftentimes money, only to end up missing the character by a landslide. Paywalling has become a huge issues within these events and as stated above it needs to be stopped. What happened to “grind-able” events? The event structure of the recent summerslam bulldog was a prime example of what an event could and should be. Do the work and earn the card.

This was the first feud in a long time where I was completely checked out. There wasn't anything particularly terrible about the event but it seemed like an event where you just play the tours and you're done. The feud itself felt almost meaningless. In one way it was nice to play for just a few hours and collect the rewards, but on the other hand, it would have been nice if there was something more to play for if I wanted.

    Solo Event

    • We could progress to MS18/20 from the tours which was nice. MS19/20 required a very high warscore leaderboard position or crazy spending however, so I was completely switched off from this event outside of doing the tours. If this format continues, the balance of points in the warscore leaderboard needs to be improved significantly. Top 50 getting the posters sounds great but if that's 47 from spending and 3 from playing, it's just pushing hardcore players away.

    Faction Event

    • The amount of talent up required for the rewards was completely unbalanced, which was reflected in the number of factions maxing. The scoring needed to be at least 5x per talent increase or the rewards needed to be significantly better to justify maxing this event for most factions.

    Warscore Leaderboard

    • It seems that this format is still being tweaked but this was by far the worst structure since the change. The changes in this event benefitted nobody. The very top handful of players get less than before, the chasing pack behind them get far less than before and others gain nothing at all from the solo event points. We have been told that this change benefits us, yet we all feel like we are worse off. Return to the previous format and give 25 posters to the top scoring players, and 25 for the top 25 spenders. Those who were previously competing for these posters are now spending less on their game because they have nothing to compete for.

    Tours

    • No complaints here. Quite accessible with different options for the tours. Benefits for having rarer powerful characters, but also other options if you weren't lucky enough to have them.

    Shard Event

    • A nice bonus for big spenders I guess? This seems like it could have been better laid out to entice lower spenders to chase some extra shards and milestones, but nothing was realistically in range for me again here so I just picked up the rewards that I got from playing normally and skipped the rest.

Overall, I feel like feud is no longer the primary game mode and players are becoming less engaged with these spend-heavy feud events. These events offer minimal rewards for actually playing feud, no incentive to grind, and the cost of further progress is really steep.

The game right now isnt a whole lot of fun. The characters needed are chase characters nit many have. Get it together or this game will die.
