    Hi, I am Mrinal Kaushik. I have played this from 8 years and I love the game. But, also I have complaints regarding the same. Why do you provide the same characters when we have the same? For example I have Undertaker of Class Stricker, and I have got 3 Undertaker of the same class from the loot.

    And why cannot we get the Superstar from the web coins?

    These boss battles aren't very well thought through. This time not only does he have botch gems that reduces gem damage every 1 to 2 turns but now this one heals almost all his health every two turns. Come on this is a bit much. It should be one or the other not both. On top of that the same server issues keep happening. You guys have been running this for months and we can't we figure the server issue?

    this faction boss is legit impossible to beat. it heals up and the botch gems and move mp increase make it insanely challenging to beat him after turn 1.

    Hi! I love the game, but there are lots of glitches. While playing faction boss, If I select global lobby, I get assigned to one but when I am making it ready, it says the faction does not exists.

    In all my biggest issues are how long it takes to do moves, many of the modifiers are wayyyy to strong, it feels very limited as far as progression goes bc I can only get past 6 if I’m lucky and getting carried, and the number of players you need.

    I can see the idea behind the faction boss, but honestly it’s just not fun. I’ve never had fun while playing the boss mode except from one time. That was only bc one of the guys in my faction had a op character who could easily beat the boss. I feel this game mode screws over the people who play for free.

    The concept itself is cool, but the boss is always way too powerful. I feel the only time I can stand my own is with a 5sg player and I only have 1. If you could do something similar to feuds where players of different levels go up against bosses or something that would be different. I feel like this game mode would be fun if I spent at least $1,000 minimum in the game. Maybe the players who dump cash in the game enjoy this mode, but as a free player I strongly dislike it. I don’t have the resources to upgrade my players to a high enough level to withstand the power of the boss.

    im also not a fan of how you need 4 players at once. This often causes gamin experience and I don’t even get all of my time when I play bc the game freezes and the clock still runs.

    I also wish the player’s moves were sped up by a lot more. Certain characters have longer move execution times and it’s irritating bc I just watch the clock run down. Either that or their is no animation for the moves.

    This is honestly one of my least favorite game modes. This game is awesome and I love it, but I feel like this is a step in the wrong direction. The concept itself is cool, but the application needs work. Honestly the only two things I like about it are the cool modifiers our characters get and the rewards we get from it. That’s why it angers me whenever we have a boss battle bc the prizes are always so good, but the game mode itself makes me genuinely want to delete the game and just be done with it.


    I normally don’t share negative stuff like this, but as someone who genuinely enjoys the game it’s very disheartening to have game modes like this which make me feel helpless and like wanting to delete the game because so many things are out of my control. I could always play the lower levels, but the prizes aren’t as good. Finding the right balance between all the things mentioned above would significantly help improve the experience.

    Havent been able to get into a single match because of the error of the game thinking the lobby is gone or already playing. Hoping theres compensation for the down time.

  • Not only are the servers lagging,but also the moves.My timing in any other gamemode is closevto flawless, but this event has my moves lagging while the time meter is draining,making it impossible to perform my best- and this mode requires exactly that. Even ordinary gem matches slightly lag .Also like the Rocker Shawn event universal lobbys are not working. How is a new player suppose to try and advance in a tournament event when the mode and its mechanics,not to mention the overall ingenuity of the boss itself is close to impossible to beat after level 6. Modes like this should be dependent on the players in that particular lobby with stats to somewhat difficult, but not impossible to overcome. I understand that there are several players that have been here for years,and the text book answer of" maybe power up your roster " probably will get pelted at me- however in this format of leader board events, new players like me feel slighted and can get turned away from this game

    This month was rough. Understandably, you guys used some needed shortcuts to allow for the big change to six stars without adding crunch. Good path forward.

    And, while annoying, the reskins for each were mostly okay. But, with feud breaking (actually loved being able to grind all rewards), and with this weekend’s event… it has been rough.

    So, 2 things that would really make the game enjoyable again after this “transitional” month: Firstly, the heal on the boss was way too aggressive. If you’re going to give grindable rewards for a 10, there should be a reasonable chance a normal faction can beat a 10 (even if difficult). We went in with 5SG (and a 5SS) S-tier characters and died at level 7 with the boss going back to full health.

    If the difficulty curve isn’t adjusted, at least make another grindable point reward for level 5. Boss Battles are one of the most fun, but least playable modes simply because there is no way to grind them like showdown or feud. The in game economy should always be that those who aren’t willing to pay as much (I paid a lot this month), are still able to get most of the rewards by paying with time.

    Secondly, the economy going to 6 star is still steep. Even several of your “official content creators” seem like they are quitting (or close) the game over how steep it is getting. The fact that I did the grind all month and got my 10 tokens, but don’t feel I will be able to take anyone up to 6 star for months, despite having the new tokens, is a problem.

    Note: Love this game and want to see it grow (and your content creators to at least somewhat like the game on streams and not discourage the player base).

    P.S. - If this gets picked to win the weekly character… I would MUCH rather get acro HBK and Tech Drew (or tech Drew and PH Lashley) than Razor… serious.

    The boss is just awful, as others have said. Cannot get best level 7, whereas normally can after a few attempts, due to the rediculous healing.

    Don't like the fact you made this boss battler harder than others. We're suppose to be able to play the game and have fun. You also could have made the card easier to get for shards. Guy past away earlier this year and your taking advantage. Milestones are crappy. You needed to add more Chase card shards.

    The health regen is a bit much. I understand it’s supposed to be a challenge, but it’s almost impossible to get past level 8 for me. Getting hit with a 250% gem defense reduction on top of the boss healing himself is ridiculous. You want people to enjoy the game, yet you don’t pay attention or care about what is said. Also the amount of skipping and lagging is really taking away the fun and adding stress. Also when you perform a move and your turn ends, it should end after the move is completed, like on the choose moves where the choose part doesn’t count, and you still lose that move. It’s pretty much a cheated move.

    Okay, so I understand Scopely may have thought the last boss was too easy. It wasn't, it was reasonable and actually fun and attainable and incentivized play, but I'll grant you that it could MAYBE be argued it was too easy. Fine.


    This overcorrection is ridiculous. It would be bad enough if the boss had gem damage reduction and a bleed damage requirement. There are not many high tier characters in the game that do significant bleed damage, let alone in each class, and a let alone that any significant number of people will actually have, both available and leveled up. But it's so, so much worse than that.


    Not only is the boss basically unbeatable without utilizing the best bleed in the game, the boss also has a full heel that hits every two turns. And not only that, the boss also raises the MP cost of moves constantly, puts down botch gems in order to neuter abilities such as power gems that could theoretically mitigate the gem reduction, and even worse than that, the boss has seemingly more HP than previous iterations. But that's not even everything!


    On top of literally all this, the boss also has obnoxiously long attack animations that are totally unskippable, and for all I know, might contribute to the prevalence of connection issues, glitches, etc. I don't know for sure, but I certainly can't rule it out!


    Before this weekend, I genuinely would have said that faction boss might be my favorite mode in the game. I legitimately love The cooperative concepts, the fact that with proper strategy, build, and communication, the mode can be completed quickly and efficiently while still being fun. I love the fact that faction boss encourages new, unique, and novel strategies that mix up the gameplay in a way that usually feels organic and solvable. I enjoy the fact that faction boss battles don't reduce the health of superstars, so a player can enjoy the mood and try as many times as they wish to finally achieve that elusive victory at the higher levels. That said, frankly speaking, I think that the choices made this weekend have potentially ruined the mode for me. The way that Scopely seemingly got mad about players being successful in large numbers during the last faction boss event, and therefore made this one what I can only describe as spitefully difficult, even for late game players in high level factions really feels like this company is actively trying to take away the enjoyment of its player base, which doesn't seem particularly wise to me even as a business decision given that the player base has been steadily shrinking for months if not years anyway. I certainly hope that Scopely reconsiders many of the recent updates and gameplay choices and endeavors never to have such anti-player decisions being made ever again. Who am I kidding? This happens every time. Regardless though, this faction boss event went from something that I was genuinely looking forward to to something that has discouraged me, frustrated me, and felt like an exercise in futility for almost no return on investment. I want this game to do well. It is my favorite mobile game that I have ever played. But I would be lying to myself if I said that I feel like it's creators are doing anything more than trying to further monetize the game and stratify the success and enjoyment of the player base more and more with each passing update. It's a shame, because in almost every single decision that gets made, I can see a kernel of a great idea. Unfortunately, the execution is almost universally a gigantic mess, and takes what would have been a great idea and turns it into yet another discouraging choice and an exercise in missed opportunity.

    After playing the tours I find that you have to pick one of the original new generation character that hardly does any damage to be the one that gets the bonus points. No one in their right mind will upgrade him with the new meta just to get the bonus or you have to be lucky enough to get the new Razor.


    Faction Boss

    I think this is one of the worst boss battles I have ever done and is not fun. I don't mind doing a little grinding but with putting botch gems, reducing gem damage to 1 point and healing himself every other round is only possible it 3 players have the same character maxed at 5sg to carry 1 person and isn't even possible in level 11 or 12.

    Faction boss should NEVER EVER EVER EVER have that overpowered of a heal move… full heal every single time… why waste time when I can’t make any progress

    Tours are fine so far they are what they are.


    The Boss battle is over tuned and feels like you need 6 star guys to beat it which is insane given how you've set those evolutions up.


    The last boss battle was easier but you know what happened. My Faction became closer and bonded over the fact that we were all able to help out and get the best result for everyone. It was super fun and everyone loved it.


    This boss battle every aspect of it seems to be a stfu to the players. The heal is just too much when boss breakers don't go off until after the first heal. After a rough month people were looking forward to a fun weekend where we weren't required to play for hours on end. The game is definitely feeling like a job but alot of players have sunk cost and their friends in their community and currently their friends in their community are quiting.

    Like many others I hated this boss battle. If you don't beat the boss by the end of turn 2 its an endless loop until he finally kills everyone off. That's insanely bad game design when you have to either quit or waste 10 minutes waiting for the boss to finally kill your group off.

  • The boss is way too hard, with heals and him making your gems do no damage after 1 turn is crazy. Also you should be able to get some boss currency each time you beat the boss even if you’ve beaten him at that level already. That would allow grinding opportunity and make getting the new card and actual possibility for F2P players. Also there were some issues with global lobbies and lag on moves, but not as bad as they have been. However I love the idea of faction bosses.

    For some strange reason I can't even join global lobbies. I finally have a character that can do good damage but when I go to create the global option is missing ugh. Also hate the fact that your guarantee is 25 shards of razor and got 7 cards of maivia -.-

    I think he was much to strong. He heal to much HP. Open Lobby wasnt able to play.

    But this time there wasnt to much problems with fightstarts. Better Boss then the last times.

    I have issue in fued free pack after i purchased all 1 of 5 pack .. i didn't receive my free pack.

    And on fued battle it's too much lagging before and during battle.


    And in boss battle if we make a huge damage to the boss always we have some issues to figure total power the boss he have.

    Actually i found the boss this time more fun as more difficulty, the fun when you have a top fuction and good cooperate mate so you try more and more to find the solution to deal with this amazing boss,

    The main problem the unbalance between the level i mean when the boss turn come no problem if he make me week and the move not charged.. but also he got full HP each 2 turn!!!!!


    Also the glitch in the game make it boring neither the boss move take long time.


    At the last in my opinion it's funny when the boss not easy and need tactics to deal with'em but need balance and logic to be more funny

    normally i really enjoy boss battle but this boss i way to difficult at lvl 7 and above. the healing really isn't fair to the majority of players who don't have a top tier bleeder or 5sg Tez

    Well, that was a weekend better spent playing War Games. And I hate War Games.

    • An aside because I'm probably the only one who has consistently cared about this - I did like the detailed breakdown of the boss and what they do on the blog, down to what you should be avoiding in general, what to use, and how to leverage boss-breakers. I doubt many people below the top factions with Discord chats will be bringing 'ideal' characters regardless (I still had people bringing Crack In The Shield to my runs) but at this point I'm going to chalk it up to their own incompetence as opposed to a lack of communication on Scopely's part.
    • 5SB recruit means 'good luck unless you pull them', so I'm already not super hot on things. Even with the boosted shard counts, 5 extra per bag or something isn't going to make up for an extra thousand needed to recruit Razor, and with how tight-fisted the game tends to keep shards for 5SB recruits (Even guys like R-Truth who should probably just be a 4SG recruit at this point) that already puts a hamper on the event, what you get out of it, and the prospects for recruiting Razor going forward.
    • Tours were about average, but I don't appreciate the SummerSlam 1995 tour does the awful tactic of "You can use two characters not suited to completing this tour, or the guy we released yesterday", which is all sorts of frustrating, especially seeing as being unable to do any of these tours will seriously sideline one's already limited progress in the event.
    • The boss itself was a serious overcorrection to the last one (presumably a lot easier but honestly I'm hardly paying attention to events anymore, especially the one that requires me to wrangle cats in the form of factionmates and offers little to anyone who isn't set up in a top 50 faction and a matching Discord call), and just highlighted further the problems I've complained about with boss breakers in the past - an overreliance on a specific role, and even if you play the game the boss wants you to they're too slow to charge and don't meaningfully contribute much to anything but the absolutely perfectly-running teams. Healer's Steal only reduces the effectiveness of the heal by 25%, in a battle where the boss heals to full every other turn. And Healer's Steal takes at least three rounds to charge. Might as well spit at him, for as much as it's going to do for the average team. And, sure, it gets noticably better on further levels but that requires buying a currency for one class of character to level up one boss breaker for a single character. And this is the first time a heal's been used, so who knows when you'll get the chance to use it again. That kind of ridiculous narrowness makes putting any resources into boss breakers feel like a waste of those resources.
    • The bigger issue other than "Boss battle is excessively limited to any sort of progress due to both highly-organized teams with not only ultra-rare and highly-specced characters who just happen to be good for the boss" is the fact that there's always clearly a wall you can't clear unless you're in the highest echelon, and then at that point... I guess you do tours? Play another game and rethink your life? You obviously hit that point in Feud and Showdown, but usually you're playing for a couple of hours and consistently getting something back throughout. In boss battle, you usually spend maybe 15 minutes or an hour, get to a level you think is reasonable, and stop. I've talked about how much I hate running feud for 12 hours, but I mean... there's got to be SOMETHING to do after you hit the wall in boss battle, because just blindly attempting higher level runs is just putting in time for nothing, because a loss is nothing but a waste of time. Why can't we get a pittance of store currency for any runs on levels we've already completed, if only just to incentivize people to grind the 15 matches for their faction?

    First off the Boss Battle was way too hard. No way to counter that heal. Hell mode in monthly mlc tours should not be heavily saturated by Megas because not everyone can spend to get those cards , so completing hellmode tours are very biased.

    The next thing that should be adjusted is the amount of shards given out for the monthly chase because again not everyone has megas or featured cards to complete the matches .

    I also feel (along with with many others) that the percentage on pulls should be raised because it's almost laughable to try and do a pull and not get anything but commons or even shards . Next up is the fact that every event is heavily bug based so for the first hour trying to complete or even start . It's time consuming and in feud settings there is a set amount of time to get things done and this should be addressed.

    I love this game but I hate the fact that it's very spend based and everything is locked behind a paywall. I understand that at the end of the day your a company and need to profit but breaking the bank for people who look to spend a little here and there should be adjusted accordingly.

    Really do not like the tours with one 5SG character. Those who haven't spent copious amounts can't even make a dent. The boss was a rough one too...without a couple specific (rare) characters, there was no shot. I'd really appreciate some easier access to emerald tokens as well, now that 6S's are out there...maybe buyable bags in the MLC wall. If there isn't a way for those that don't spend an insane amount to acquire the needed items to level up 5SG and above, the divide between whales and others will just grow making it pointless for others to continue to try. Oh, and still waiting on Al Snow w/head :)

    Feedback for Machismo Faction Boss Event

    • In my opinion, one of the worst faction boss event since inception. We all know how ridiculously hard he was made. I'm all for the challenge but making it to the point where it's not even fun to play is just a waste of everyone's time.
    • It's probably an enjoyable event for the heavy spenders as they have all the required arsenal to face this ridiculous boss but for majority of us it was just a painful experience having to rely on your faction to carry your team and I HATE being carried without being able to give something back and since I didn't have anyone strong enough it was just not fun at all. It almost seemed like this boss was created for those who acquired their 6S but then again how many got their 6S characters in this short span of time so as I said this is solely for the heavy spenders.
    • The Faction Boss itself had a lot of issues with lag and connectivity this time whereas previously it wasn't as painful as what I went through this weekend.
    • Dangling a Titan Plate for this event is such a nasty thing to do in tempting people they can get this plate considering the last one was easily done. I knew it was too good to be true.
    • In my opinion, if you were going to release a Faction Boss that is going to be so ridiculous at least give us the favour of allowing us 2 weeks in advance to prepare so we can get our team ready. For example, Mutant Seth and British Bulldog are both characters I have that would have done well in this event but obviously I haven't spent any resources on them and I'm definitely not going to waste resources when there is no coins event to double dip on as that's just plain stupid. I think this could have been a good event if we were given more time to plan our strategy around this boss. Probably wishful thinking on my part given that anything can change with Scopely.
    • If you're going to make Razor a 5SB recruit, I'd expect atleast close to 1500-1700 shards that are freely available but doubtful that would ever be the case so this is likely another character that will just sit in the shelf for me.
