    Ripped-Mas Feedback - Rating is 2.7 out of 10.

It would be nice if Scopely would be consistent with the contests and rules. This event appears to not give credit for earning SD coins which is not typical compared to other mid week SD events. This event appears to allow for unlimited matches to grind for some of the milestones but not all of them like how the Bulldog event worked.

Changing the event rules is not something that most people enjoy. There are problems often enough that as a player I cannot even tell if these differences are intentional or just errors? Give people the choice to use SD coins or grind or pay to win the event. That is catering to the player and being flexible. Right now the system is far too inconsistent and it is not good.

Let's try this Scopely, every day have the developers use a different computer to work on at a different desk and their job for the day will be unknown until they get to work and find out. It could be possible that the developer would not even have a computer based job every day.

On Monday the developer was going to fix something on the portal but instead they have to work that day in Accounting doing payroll. Tuesday instead of programming they have to go work in HR and listen to employee problems. Wednesday they have to work in Facilities and fix the plumbing in the building. Thursday they get to code as they would expect and fix the portal issues. Friday they have to be security and walk around the building all day.

How enjoyable would that kind of situation be if it was not consistent? If the person never knew what they would be doing and what would be required to complete the task? Do you see the point?

Offer something flexible and be consistent. If you want to introduce something new, great. Do that in addition to what is normally done and see which one the players like more. Don't just change things so players do not know what to expect. That is not a fun experience, but it does generate negative feedback.

Is there a limit for doing matches with the required superstars? If no, then that means we can do it to max the contest?

Also, will there be points for sd coins as well like previous mid-week events for showdown does?

Scopely will never value the time we spend in the game .

Apparently we don't. It will be updated and is no longer grindable.

I hope you guys do actually take feedback and listen to it. I love this game a lot. I think gameplay and collecting is super addicting. I understand you have to make money but my suggestion would be once a month maybe once every two months it would be nice to have a completely free to play grindable event. I think it would be really nice. I myself do spend money on the game but I don't want to feel like I have to for every single event. It would be nice to be rewarded more often for just playing the game.

    Another shambles.

Advertising a great event where we can grind for rewards but then taking it away as if nobody would notice.

It didn’t take long to backtrack on the empty promises made just last week.

It’s no surprise your own content creators are turning to Supercard for a better experience.

And they have put down the limit on it now. Apparently we cant get a good event at all.

who gives a rating on a contest that hasn’t even started? How about give it chance before writing a story about the devs. Then provide your feedback, cause it sounds like your getting upset prematurely.

  • ThePacMan
    ThePacMan Member ✭✭✭✭

Yes there is a limit on the matches For hogan, orton, reigns and drew. We don’t know the specific on the limits, but should appear once the contest starts.

  • ThePacMan
    ThePacMan Member ✭✭✭✭

we don’t know the limit yet, will be added soon or when the event goes live, thanks for your understanding

Showdown event without the value of showdown coins....need to look into it...if that so, notoriety will be useless for that.

No need to climb high in NOTORIETY for more points, just complete matches will be the case....

One part of my query is still not answered of whether sd coins will be counted or not? After all when you guys have put a limit on the matches then it should be the case as it will just help the player base. Ooops, that is rarely case... we thought that during the initial week when Scopely said regarding the mess up that they care for the community. We thought sure let's give them a chance and they fulfilled that... after that we all thought we are getting heard and you guys wants us to have a good time playing the game but apparently with the change for the event, I highly doubt that.

Typical Scopely garbage. Lying on the blog by not showing limits. Not acknowledging the mistake of oversight in game. No compensation.

Scopely - Does this happen with your other games or are we just the lucky ones to consistently be ignored, right played with a bait and switch, plagued by horrible programming errors and receive minimal to no information in a timely manner?

Don’t post a blog not showing limits and then bait and switch it later. That is the feedback. Be honest and ethical.

Why was the limit not in the blog when it was released? Why did is not show TBD or coming soon for the limit?

No need to thank me for my understanding because I do not understand. It is not ok or acceptable.

  • To be honest I waited for this contest from that time once the Santa Hogan was realized. I tried to collect as much his evo tokens as possible. Because he should be the best trainer in the game with 2200 gem dmg & 4 start MP…but you changed him & now its only 1 start MP. But whatever I used him much often than other trainers. About contest: one more showdown…I dont think so. I waited for blitz. But Im happy that you give us a tiny chance to evolve him :)

Every blog is subject to change. This is why that disclaimer is listed on every blog. The blog is a preview of the events but not everything is finalized until it goes live. The alternative option would be no info in advance and then when it goes live what you see is what you get

@Vishisht SD coins are not counted as part of this contest. Thanks

No one was lying on the blog, the contest was subject to change. Why would there be compensation when nothing was glitched out and no information was wrong either.

  • Butcher1904

Given that there is only one day remaining in this contest, it doesn’t appear to be possible to reach the tenth milestone (the last before the bonus milestones) without significant spend.

Will there be further opportunities to earn additional points from events not detailed in the blog?

  • ThePacMan
    ThePacMan Member ✭✭✭✭

once The contest is over there won’t be anymore until the next time it appears which would be for Christmas. As Santa Hogan is a exclusive to Xmas holiday themed. Hope this answers your question.

  • Butcher1904

This isn’t regarding the Hogan evo tokens, but rather points towards the weekly event.

As meh831137 also pointed out, it doesn’t appear that there are enough points available to reach the final ‘free’ milestone at 800k points

    Slightly disappointed in this event.

I will actually give scopely a thumbs up for realising they were a little short on contest points so put in an extra tour.

I normally spend a little every contest so I can achieve higher milestones than the f2p player. I’ve spent 30 and got to the same milestone as f2p players. I’d have to spend around the same again just to reach the next milestone. What was the point in spending and having extra points for loot tokens if even by spending you can’t get further than the f2p player?

As for the final token loot, you’re joking right? 70% chance to pull 1-10 Santa tokens or 1-10 4SG tokens. I don’t think I’ve seen a worse priced loot to reward offer from you!

I had a terrible time with this event the matches kept crashing my game and the evo tokens didnt add to my inventory and i dont event want t bother with support since they are so slow and rarely actually help. I had so much trouble with this event that i didnt bother playing during most of it. Changing the event during the event is also very ridiculous.

No issues with the events for me. My only issue would be that is spending going to be the only way to get a significant amount of Santa Hogan tokens? My Santa Hogan has sat at 5SB for a couple years now. Wish there was another way to get a decent amount of tokens. Other than that, the events were fine for me.

  • Zyklix
    Zyklix Member ✭✭

what a joke. I need like 2000 of his tokens for his next evolve and I can get 50…..am I supposed to wait till 2045 to evolve him???and that evolve doesn’t even upgrade his ability. It’s the one after that. For something that is twice a year you should be able to participate and evolve him at least one level per event by participating in everything. 50 free tokens is beyond an insult. Get it together and do better or don’t even have a ripped mad event because that was the worst one ever. It was like a throw way contest. No Christmas sweater gear and basically no tokens. Shame.

I have no idea why these events that happen twice a year have gotten nerfed so badly. I got Santa Hogan to 5sb in the July event last year. With these last two events, I'm still 1600 tokens away from the next level. At this rate it'll be 2030 before I get him to 5ss.

Either switch him to regular tokens or put some actual effort into the events again.
