Champions,
Some players were able to earn incorrect rewards in today's released Membership Tour. In order to preserve the fairness and competition of the Monthlong Contest, we will be correcting some of these rewards and fixing the affected player accounts accordingly by the end of this week.
- Leaderboard and Milestone points will be corrected. Points earned through the incorrect Tour Rewards will be removed.
- We will remove the NEW Ultimate Warrior Poster from affected accounts and will resend him once the 500,000 points have been appropriately collected this month without the incorrect Tour reward.
- Resources spent on Ultimate Warrior will be reimbursed and compensated.
- Affected players will keep all other milestone rewards, note that milestones are unable to be claimed twice
- Affected players will receive a guaranteed Poster of the upcoming BRAND-NEW Superstar before the debut contest this weekend.
- All other players get a chance to earn a GUARANTEED Poster of that NEW Superstar in the pre-Bonus milestones this weekend.

So they get all the resources early and they get a free poster of the new susperstar? Shouldn't this be for the people that didn't exploit your mistake? I sure did see alot of whales in the top 100 from Top factions and some popular youtubers under your banner.

Dear Scopely, all players are “affected players” FYI. A certain percentage shouldn’t get a freebie for exploiting an error while the rest of us get resentment. This is not how to keep a player base happy.

I agree everyone is affected. I'm a VIP member and i could have done it but i wasn't online. So should i get the free poster too.

based on what i read. All players who took advantage of the champs hard tour gets the weekend superstar for free? Does it affect players who spent $3 to get hhh and put resources in him? or am i screwed outta my coins and tp based on that? also the rewards the people that took advantage of the hard tour get, which is still a ton even if they get warrior removed. I leveled my showboat hhh from 3sb to 4sb with tp and coins will i get that back and get the superstar as well this weekend? or am i screwed like the other group of people that couldnt take advantage of and try to do that tour node? Absolutely still not fair or a proper fix!
Lets give a free superstar to everyone that just got millions of coins 1000s of tp maxed fued perks contest pts and everything else for nothing but those of you that got nothing still get nothing. The scopely way.
If you got vip or had vip you should get the bags and milestones, point blank period. Taking them away just isnt right. They were there then poof gone.
Also a Chance at a Gauranteed poster? So that means bags with chances of .015 or 100's of showdown matches, which simply is not fair to those once again especially that have vip.
A better answer and fix for everyone especially for people with vip that missed out should be had.

When you say earn will it be given whole in the first 5 milestones or is it chance to earn like a bag with a 0.001% chance at not shards.

The players that maxed the event won’t get to “double dip” on the milestones. They get to keep the rewards but to get the warrior card they will still need to go through and max the contest. For everyone else that maxes you will get the rewards throughout the month which is standard. It’s not a great situation but at the end it ends up being equal as related to the MLE

better fix for a lot of the community, at least your paying customers. Put the bags back in the VIP section so that we can get the same advantage as the individuals who already got it.

The better fix is everyone gets the weekend character for free at the start and not have "A Chance to Earn" free character

Those who played the broken tour are the reason everyone has a chance to get the poster this weekend at no cost.

So you are saying those who got advantage of the bug gets a free superstar and bonus of "unlock superstar in first 24 hours".

Chance vs Guaranteed is the issue though.
Is it Chance as in "if you get to milestone 5 you unlock the next superstar"
or is it "if you are lucky you might be able to pull the superstar poster in the bags you get that also has a chance at being gold, tp, tokens instead"

I think the issue is "A CHANCE" and the wording, if there was better details now, (Like the reasonability odds of getting it) we wouldn't say that

In the milestones that you will have to spend to get lol. I don’t care about people getting the poster but stop acting like it’s gonna be easy for folks who don’t. I’ve been around for years lol

They have said it’s not in the bonus (paid) milestones.
‘Chance to earn’ means we can play for the reward, not just a random chance at getting it.
Let’s not complain when they put things right. This is a good result for players.
I’m sure it won’t be easy, but nobody is being forced to grind it.

How deep it is in the milestones matter as the higher free milestone rewards still require the use of certain wrestlers.

For now they’re saying that we can do it for free. If that turns out not to be the case, then I can understand being unhappy.

Lol they literally compared it to the grind to get zombie Paige I believe it was. Which literally meant doing nothing all weekend but showdown matches or some nonsense. You obviously got the reward and I’m not surprised to see you sticking up for it lol. When they throw in the phrase “a chance” that means it’s not just gonna be in milestone 3 as an easy grab. But go off

The main issue here isn’t the free poster or how we are going to gain it.
The turnbuckles people have earned through completing the mlc and get to keep are the problem. This weekend you are going to have people with showdown perks maxed vs people who can’t because of this glitch. We will have the same issue next weekend for the feud. What is the plan to make these competitions a level playing field?

I didn’t get the bags. I don’t have any VIP subscription.
zPaige was a great event. Free top tier poster if you’re willing to play for it, what’s not to like?
That event was around 500 matches over 72 hours without any of the rare CSS, and much less for every poster you had. Most of the community had fodder defense so it was just quick wins.
Whats the point of a game if you don’t want to play for rewards? Nobody is forcing you play but if you don’t, why would you get free stuff for doing nothing?

Can I just point out that Scopely is the issue here? Scopely messed up MLC at the start, they've messed up the Champions tour. Scopely is to blame, don't have a go at players.
Regardless how you see this, the chase character is being taken away and you have to reach 500k to obtain him again. Yes, we keep our rewards, but what difference does it really make? I max MLC every month regardless, I still need to max coin and TP events for Warrior shards, I still need to spend on tour perks.
Everyone is getting a new character this weekend.
This is Scopelys mistake and they should be held accountable for this error.
