No Shield for this weekend boss battle?

Am I missing something? Previous boss battles shield would generate every 2 turns. I'm not seeing that as an ability for this weekend boss against mutant Andre. Not complaining. Just don't want to get my hopes up.

  It appears there will be no shield this weekend, However the Boss has some other Ability's at his disposal to try and stop you.
