Blog Reveals
Do we really need a live blog reveal? Why can't the blog just be released at the sametime it always was. I really don't need Guersan to read the blog to me, I can read it myself, just seems like a waste of time. He can still do the live reding of it for those that enjoy it, but it shouldn't be something like you have to watch to get the info at the same time as others. Just my .02

Completely agree it’s just there way of making money it’s all about promoting that healthy economy around the game ( for them not us )

The blogs have been releasing later than they used to anyway due to some behind the scenes goings on and there's been positive feedback around the live reveals.

That's not the point, the point is why can't it be released to all of us the same time it's revealed to Guersan? I don't need him to read it for me. Also this is the typical response "We've gotten some positive feedback" so because of positive feedback , all consttuctive criticism and negative feedback are negated because some people like it?
I'm not saying he can't still do his Twitch during the reveal for those that like it, he can read it to them. Of course, then he doesn't get as many views which is the actual goal of doing it this way. Please don't treat us like idiots

The community has been toxic long before forum moderators. Mods here and TH answer with what they have. People want more information that just isn't available and often are rather unrealistic about it. It doesnt matter how the devs or mods respond it will always upset people. More transparency and less transparency have lead to equal amounts of complaints and whining. The web market was obviously delayed. What more is there to say? Want a definite date it will launch? Nope they obviously don't have one because they want it to be working. If they launch with it broken people will complain if they don't launch when people think the should they will complain.

The live reveal blogs are there to stay, that's how Scopely want's to build hype around them, they are never done on the Content creator's own channels, always on Scopely's official channel, Most of the time it's gonna be Guersan because Thursday night is his normal stream schedule anyway and they tend to release it thursday nights, but sometime it's someone else, also the blog itself is released publicly at the end of the stream most of the time (unless it's the weekend) so if you don't want to watch the stream to find out that's fine, just wait 2h and read it yourself when it's posted it's only 2 hours.

You're correct it didn't deserve a response but he did demand one. Most responses people simply don't like it's not a mocking response or designed to inflame. People like to say scopely lied but they don't understand a fundamental part of lying requires intent. They complain about things changing and being told they're subject to change then they complain if no information is given up front. Advance information is ALWAYS subject to change for many factors. As much as people want it to be set it stone that is not possible.

No. I know of absolutely anyone who looks forward to live blog reviews every single person says id rather read it myself

LOL. I look forward to it. But do you see the results of the surveys they send out? Do you look at the engagement numbers? Exactly why anectdotal evidence is pointless.

Hi Scott,
While not all Mods communicate in similar fashion, We unfortunately can only give the information and updates which are presented to us at the time. If we have no update on a situation or receive an answer that isn't favorable to some "Subject to change" That is unfortunately the message we must deliver. While we can certainly improve on the delivery of said messages, but please take with a grain of salt the complications sometimes of being the "Middle Man".
We are constantly pushing feedback for improved communication from top to bottom.
Regarding the thread topic , While I am also not a fan of the delayed Blog reveals, If it possibly means fixes are being made and possible errors being found with the extra time, It's better long term.
