also by 3 energy daily does this mean it would stop regenerating after 45 minutes?or 3 tries and then done for today?

Yeah, would love to have confirmation on if it's 2 single energy per day or 2 packs. Wording seems to be the early.

So this amounts to the fact that players were getting resources, scopely said nah forget that, we aren't getting anything in return, so out come the new rules.

Disappointing to see the trivia go the same way as how the community events went. Initially brilliant, with the community enjoying and praising scopely, to a total cash grab.

You can blame Scopely, but blame them for the right reason. They dropped a new market without taking into account how it would affect the game and how trivia currently worked that time. Changes are only happening because they were unable to recognize a basic mechanic in their own product.

Really disappointed to see it change in this way... It was obviously hurting their bottom line.

Scopely is sticking with its plan to have a game specifically focused on whales, that spends a lot of money in order to progress well.
Now that people are encouraged to do trivia because they could get good benefits and people were happy, then Scopely comes and cuts everything.
Global community events cheered you up and helped you get resources, people were super active during those days, and what does Scopely do? So delete them from the calendar.
Players have been asking for improvements in loot odds for months and no response.
The prizes in brawls, SD, tours and others are still lousy and Scopely does not try to improve ah but it is easier to limit the trivia where the players were happy than to solve the real problems of the game.
What this does is discourage the players, in the end the whales will be left alone and we will see how long this loss of players lasts for Scopely.
From my point of view, it was preferable to increase the costs of Flash Market merchandise than to limit the amount of daily trivia that a person can do.

Okay. Hi to 'pay 2 win'. It was the last chance to get something useful for free grinding. And it dies.

To maintain a healthy economy around the game, we decided to adjust the way you can obtain rewards from MLC events.
But, the good news is we will increase the amount of Bonus in our pay offers. So, we'll take care of your money.
Wanna have a good roster? - PAY for it. Don't wanna spend too much money on the game? - It's okay! We'll give you 1000-1400 / 2000 shards if you will do everything in game. Well, other shards you will never get till you will pay for this.
I do stay in the TOP-50 fraction with 'points for placement', so I do a lot. But, without transactions, I'll NEVER get a good roster.
A quick example of your 'healthy economy':
new RVD: 1025 / 2000
Lex Luger: 1105 / 2000
Eric Bischoff: 935 / 2000
new Undertaker: 775 / 1600
Molly Holly: 1065 / 2000
Kevin Owens: 905 / 3000
Montrez Ford: 841 / 3000
Alundra Blayze: 1001 / 3000
Okay, maybe if you do ALL MILESTONES, if you have all bonus wrestlers (yep, you need to buy them too), you'll get something like 1500 / 2000. Is that your 'healthy economy'?

Nope. They are punishing themselves like they always do. If they had seen this "economy" issue last month, we'd not be having this debate and we'd still be celebrating this new feature. The last thing they should have done was cap trivia energy we can buy, instead they could have raised the prices like most players were expecting and it would not cause this negative feedback. In the end it only damages their image among the player base...again.

A lot of it is speculation at this point really. I definitely want to know what the changes will truly be. Will we be able to buy the 32 pack recharges 2x? No clue. Will the prices raise in shop? No clue. If they make it to where we can do the 32 packs, I am personlly fine with that. I rarely did more than that anyway daily. Sure some people did, but is what it is. I personally think Scopely are a bunch of shady fucks, but they also have a business to run. I mean if you dont like the way the game is ran…you can always delete it 🤷🏼♂️

Hopefully this change will allow Scopely, as a business, to afford employees that can do a better job of communicating with players that isn't lip service with content creators and forum moderators constantly left in the dark.

LasT months flash market was incredibly lucrative to my roster and I want to show my appreciation for that. I completely understand the need to cap purchasing energy via web coins.
I understand knowing from my experience during the prior flash market event I gained easily more resources in the span on 3 weeks than I did in six months. That clearly shows the potential to completely throttle the player economy.
My hope is that the limit of 2 purchases of energy means we get to purchase 32 and 32. I also think keeping the current values as I believe it’s a good balance as far as shards to coins.

Are we going to be able to buy 32 energy twice or just 2 energy per day?

I imagine that there are 2 energies per day, not 2 energy packs per day.
The ad says "Trivia Energy....limited to 2 per day", not "Trivia Pack Energy...etc".

Yes, the post of community manager is such a bad sign as it is too vague to really figure out how it will be re-introduced to the portal. Not alone the big questions what "2 energy" exactly means, but on top of this scopely won't surprise me once again when changing the currency (guess a lot of players who benefitted of the exploit have hoarded lots of web coins), increasing / changing the prices on items, and price per standard re-roll.
I can fully understand that changes are being made after what happened on the flash market lately and that this was way tooooooooo sweet for us players to keep it that way, but please, don't screw this up entirely by creating another money hungry behemoth none of the "mid-card" players who occasionally spend a dime or two on the game will have a chance (or interest) in participating.
(won't say that you are going to destroy the game and will lose more players... but... you know...)

For the change to effect the economy you first have to have one. Players are unable to buy/sell or trade. Once we spend the coin/tp/tokens they disappear.
The only thing it effected was your bottom line and you didn’t like it so had to change it fast.
As a smaller spender I’m glad I made the most of it while I could. I’m now in a position with my roster to not have to spend anymore if it changes to drastically!

Hello everyone. We have clarification. The total energy per day will be 5. 3 daily free runs and 2 energy you can buy per day for web coins.
However, keep in mind from purchases that you will earn 15 web coins rather than the previous 3 web coins.

I would like to know if i keep my saved energie or loose it with a daily reset or something. That way some of use could use the time thats left to spend the energie now if thats needed.

I'm all for nerfs to the system as it was ridiculously broken and warped the economy massively and I don't think anyone expected that current system to stick. However, I feel that this is a complete overcorrection. I think myself and a lot of other players would like to see a middle ground here, rather than going from "all" to "nothing"
Furthermore, I don't feel that 15 webcoins on the dollar is a good compromise. Picture those fancy avatars that have been put in. If you started from scratch and didn't play a single trivia game, you'd have to spend 800 bucks.....on a portal avatar. Or 153 bucks for 100 IOW Charlotte shards. The math doesn't add up in my opinion.
My proposal is simple, the 2*32 packs a day. The way I see it, that doesn't warp the economy nearly as much but still let's people benefit from the trivia. You drive traffic to your site this way, which encourages people to spend with the sinful glut of stuff for sale on the homepage and gives people a "grind able" option.
Currently it is stacked all the way up on your end and I feel there is a compromise that can be reached still, so I hope this gets taken into consideration

This game has no economy. You cant exchange goods with other players. Its all personal. So thats a hock of crap. 2. I hope you realize that going from unlimited trivia to 5 a day is just insane logic and i truly hope it kills the playerbase( not that there is much of one anyways) You basically did a 3 week trial go show everyone how great this was and im sure it was all a facade to monetize it. Scopely lets no good player experience go without hmmm. How do we now make money from this. At this point im shocked u dont have a monthly subscription to be able to play any of the game. Or charge to do tours

Oh, so not the 2x 32 energy per day that we all expected then. Absolutely ridiculous.
We all expected this to be limited in some way, but 5 per day is stupidly low.
Really pissed off about that.

This is what they do. Continue to alienate their playerbase, and tell them to take it on the chin and open their fvcking wallet. 2 energy, plus the 3 freebees per day. Every market reset costs 99 webcoins. What trash!
