From long time i got nothing from events like this from grab bags

Again, a good event but, as always, only fragments from the satchel.

What else can be said about this event other than “Same Scopely Different day”

I am personally beyond annoyed with the same end results for spending, grinding, Maxing events and always being left short by a little over 20% of the needed shards of the weekly character:

These golden chests that are so hard to get the “RNG always manages to result in the most unwanted results.

These pulls keep getting worse:

I’m getting very close to retiring because this has reached beyond a ridiculous point as this isn’t worth the SAME continued frustrations that are encountered.

I have already spent more than enough this week on worthless premium loot pulls chasing 600 unobtainable Macho King Shards.

At this point just trying my luck here for the flavor of the week.

Have u guys given any thought to creating wildcard shards which you could use to complete recruiting guys you might be so close to getting. It would be especially awesome for ppl who do spend $ and come so close to getting the chase as u don't see their shards become available for quite some times. Eg. I currently have about 4 characters who needs 150 shards to recruit. May encourage ppl to spend $$ if they have a chance to recruit someone who may not be in the loot

Nice to see more females and new characters instead of 7-8 repeats. Showdown tours seem fair and requirements for SD seem reasonable.

Totally unfair to have only chase characters for the first 2 tours to get the event tokens. Also I maxed out the showdown tokens was before I was even able to hit all the showdown milestones because again, 90% if the superstars to get event tokens were chase superstars that hardly anyone has. It needed to be more balanced so everyone has a chance. Even if that means people without chase superstars reach a low level.

This event was fun and having most of the bonus people was nice, but even with all of them i am no where near the max of the solo contest.... this seems like a flaw and a buyers agenda, i worked hard for my roster and it hurts that i put so much work into it and cant get to the max solo. i enjoyed the events though because it was made pretty easy for people to do for extra points, i have yet to do the kings one that comes out today but it should be fun. i thank scopely for all their hard work but in the future i would make a chase card obtainable without buying it. That is all i have at this time.

Great event

My problem with this event and every event recently is the following.

The tours that launch during the week have points for faction event as well as solo

Not sure why I am not getting more solo points and am contributing to faction when others don't pull their weight sometimes

Solo daily tours should just have the usual stuff and solo points

Fsction events are where we should be getting faction points from like feuds and such like.

Also at the end of each MLC the extra tokens that we get to upgrade that months free superstar should be turned into shards for that superstar rather than sitting in tokens taking up space on your servers and in our inventory which slows down load times

This was a good event and I think allowing for showdown coins to count even when The Weekend showdown isn’t going on is a good touch. I think that allowing for more chances to earn shards would be beneficial for people to stay engaged.

Superstar

• Liv On Defense: great mechanics on defense.  I didn’t expect her to kickout from 1.7 mil damage but she did.  Also she came back and ended up beating me.  That’s been a problem with some characters on defense such as Naomi SB which never uses her purple moves.  But this one was great on defense. Also found out Naomi SB does not have a Smackdown or raw link. 
• From the content creator videos she’s pretty solid on offense.

Requirements

• Originally I though 100 SD and 100 Raw would be rough, but doubling up on each made it 100 event together.  No issues. It was a little bit of a grind.  

SD coin requirements for matches

• 30000 great! With 3000 after above 1400
• 10 matches to max helps out for member who don’t have requirements 
• Grind of 100 RAW SD a bit of a challenge but fun to chase 
• 
  

Warscore challenges 

• Option A: Needs the old warscore challenge like you did with Zpaige event before with matches. Maybe set it extremely high (400 matches) and earn a 2SB or something of the character. (Disadvantage: community might set defense low to play these matches)
• Option B: base the event off the SD Notoriety  of 2000 or 2200 or higher. Example: max milestone is 2200 or higher (this would help incorporate the SD promoters and the use of them. Also it would avoid people from setting defense low or decrease this) you can use 2000 or 2200 as the starting point in a beta weekend then slowly raise the bar higher 100 each weekend to find a balance threshold up to 2600 or higher. The threshold can’t be set high enough where it’s still feasible and not high where no one can reach it.  For example like 3500. A gradual change change would enable to community to show you the number of players that can actually reach that level each event.

• Worked out well this time. See warscore for. Pre improved advantage. 

Defense of King Booker Ts

• Booker T has become the new zSCSA on defense. For a while it was a mix of everyone then after he was introduced it has solely become him. Maybe release/create a big counter for him. 

Tours requirements and difficulty 

• Easy no issues on difficulty or requirements. Day 3 was confusing but I had to go back and look at the blog to remember the bonus character link description. 

Milestones solo 

• I was able to use coin for 12500 talent on modern era.  I gained “most of the coins back from the bonuses but was short 3mil from breaking even on what was spent.  It’s not aweful.  Good coin balance.  It might need a slight bump up before 5SB is released though. 

overall idea of the showdown contast need a revamp it's been quite a long time that shards of the event superstar is not enough to recruit even after spending and despite all your efforts you will loose out in general about 4-5 milestone every time forget about maxing the event.

rewards are just okish. I already requested you to make 1 character per month more obtainable. But feel unheard yet.

Superstars design is also good she looks great.

You need to understand that in most of the events like the current liv showdown, people in general got that idea even before the event starts by looking at the milestone/shards availability that they are not gonna achieve anything substantial and drop the idea of getting bursted for that event. You know 99% of us already knows that we are not gonna get the new character and bam you lost a big chunk of customer base. Although if you make it more obtainable you will see more participation and increase in numbers of people who spend on your game.

This week’s SD contest is more or less the same. While I couldn’t use my King Booker counter due to the ladies needed in the second slot, it was a grindable event for most of it.

The good are the tours and the bonus characters needed for the tours and SD were fair. Everyone should be working on the free character to get the chase. A 4ss maxed Rhea was able to complete her tour with all the bonuses.

The bad is the amount of bags for Liv and the horrible chance of pulling her card. While I am happy that some of my faction mates got her from the bag, to me, the bag represent a key pull to me. I dread doing those and I dread opening the bags for disappointment of getting shards, like Charlie Brown getting a rock for Halloween. I would like to see at least 1 SD event a month where it is possible to grind for a character, where there are enough bags to recruit if you got all the shards… wait, was I describing the HoF Bret event, what it should of been? Yes I am!

Overall this event gets a 6/10. I miss the prizewall where you can get shards of previous released characters, would be nice to get something out of this game every once so often. I’m curious to see what goodies you all are doing for Wrestlemania week.
