My only negative feedback was the length of feud #2. 4 hours was a small window, but I do realize individual availability would vary from player to player. Otherwise, the event seemed on par with prior ones (excluding the well known communication issue at this point).

Allowing your content creators to put videos out for multiple days discussing the event erroneously without refuting it or advising them you’re changing things and then randomly changing the wording of the blog halfway through the event when you’ve realized the mistake isn’t “subject to change”

Lots of people might consider this a bait and switch, at the very least deception on Scopely’s behalf. Scopely, please make this right for your users. Thanks.

One of the better months. Tours were somewhat doable altho that brock and warrior on hell mode was OP! Good number of points available on solo. Briefcase odds was appallingly bad though. Must have done 200+ pulls not one new superstar? Odds on that is incredible. Then the shard gate right at the end let the month down.

  • Personally I thought the event was decent but there was a glitch where some people weren’t getting first time win points towards the feuds which made it where people missed out on a lot of rewards. The original blog post was misleading and made it seem like you could get Bret for free then they changed the blog post last minute-when the third node came out. I unfortunately missed on Bret and I was one of those who thought I could get him for free.

Feud loading circle issues continue unabated, especially after app switching. I don't know if anyone knows how to fix it, but I'll still keep bringing it up until it improves.

Tours had reasonable contest superstar requirements, even if the rewards were incorrectly communicated to the player base and not clarified until well after other methods of gaining those rewards had been closed off to the player.

Feud timing was really wacky, I think three is a sweet spot for flash feuds but feud two needed to be longer, especially since female feuds are typically more challenging for players to complete.

Moving down to 50K for first win from 100K is a big step backward, especially for a warscore competition that didn't have that high-profile reward like a Z Plate (although the 100 Bret shards ended up being more valuable than people thought at the time)

Speaking of steps, putting everyone on a level playing field with the 40% kickout steps is a noble gesture, but still a wrongheaded one. Boosting kickouts hurts everyone quicker than it helps the individual player, and tying the warscore bonus to it ensures that everyone must equip it to remain competitive. Please reconsider the kickout steps going forward, especially considering recent nerfs to scoring.

Solo contest had a nice bump for talent up, which was appreciated even if I still think the talent constraints are a little silly - I still believe that people willing to spend stupid amounts of real money and people willing to spend stupid amounts of in-game econ (ESPECIALLY before an MLC change) should be treated on more equal footing.

Faction contest was standard flash feud fare, no real complaints there.

The Bret shard stuff overshadowed what was ultimately a below-average event with much bigger ramifications for the future of this game regarding the kickout steps and the nerf to first win bonus. The only saving grace was that Bret was a lot more attainable than the other Hall of Fame characters this month, continuing the trend of MLCs having at least one character that's reasonable to attain per month.

For actual event execution, thumbs in the middle leaning down.

For top-to-bottom development execution including blog proofreading, thumbs way down.

    Hello Champions,

I feel like the Hitman's Spectacular Event this past weekend was an overall success in terms of player engagement.

Based on interactions with other players in the WWE Champions community, it was determined that the HOF Bret Hart card was obtainable with minimal to no spending involved to collect the necessary shards.

If you were fortunate enough to recruit him earlier from the free loot bags or by spinning the paid loots, I really liked that you could get bonus contest points for leveling him up during the event.

The tours were really good with contest superstars selection being fair to anybody who's played the game within the past calendar year. I am glad that there weren't too many nodes and hell mode was challenging but not impossible to complete.

The contest milestones gave decent rewards as usual. HOF Bret Hart in my opinion, is the best version of The Hitman we have in WWE Champions game with IOW Bret being a close 2nd in the current meta.

The Flash Feuds were fun for the most part. Here's where I feel has room for improvement. Female showboat characters apart from Mickie James and Naomi aren't very strong offensively. As such, if you didn't have the aforementioned cards in your roster already at the 5SB rarity, the female Flash Feud wasn't fun to play.

The first Flash Feud was really good, the line fill bonuses made sense as well as the feud steps perk with 30% kickout boost being available to everyone was a nice touch. The last Flash Feud seemed rather long given the late start time for North American players in the east coast. A better option would have been to split this feud into 2 parts with a gap of a few hours in between so as to not make it such a grind to get through.

The portal had some really decent rewards and gave those willing to spend a chance to obtain several rare HOF cards in addition to shards for both HOF Bret and HOF Dusty.

My only suggestions for future events like this is to open up the female superstars required for their respective Flash Feud, release the tours all at once and not have the final Flash Feud be twice as long as the previous two. Other than those minor nitpicks, this event was really good and HOF Bret Hart is a welcome addition to anybody's roster. Thanks for your consideration and good luck to all participants in this giveaway.

My biggest gripe is the same every feud. Really wish the timer for the last one would go to four like the showdown. I enjoy the tours when they are more open. Liked that we could get points in the sunday tour unlike last week. Would prefer that other scoring options are available instead of talent leveling the day before a talent up contest. I had no issue with the Brett Heart Shards but mostly because I never pay attention to the contest shards as I know I wont get enough.

Great event! Only complaint is us newer players don't have Matt. Would be nice to get a multiply gem trainer

It was a great event to play with the faction. For next it can be good to put some solo points in the warscore competition milestones or low the amount to reach milestones to have more people playing in a competitive mode.

He’sa great character! But talking about the event itself you should place the shards in a way more abundant, cause an event with just a minimum quantity shards to get the character is not a good motivation to us as a players. And obviously you have to give us the opportunity to get more coins and tps cause you ask for a lot but we can’t get back even the 40% of what we spend.

We should be rewarded with feud scores that can improve our chances in the individual events ! Have one contest for the faction and one for us individually. Same for the showdown if you will.

  • Pros: recruitment goal of 1200 shards

    Good prizes in milestones

Cons: after 10 million warscore becomes a grind that alot of people lose sleep trying to reach the last milestone

Should have a stop feud button due to crashes and network issues

Too many red rings choosing an opponent

Feud #2 was too short and feud #3 was way too long. Maybe even them a bit more?

Contest was very misleading. Caused a lot of confusion. Hitman was a good character to strive for but caused way too many problems the way it was handled.

I liked the tours, they gave good rewards and the requirements were fair.

I will always not be a fan of flash feuds since they cater to the western US time zones.

The solo event and faction events were also fair and gave out good rewards.

I was not a fan of the 40% kickout bonus. I also liked the 100k for first time wins instead of 52k. This made it more difficult to score large. I am working on getting my trainers for the feud score bonuses, but it is a very long process.

Overall I would like to see more events like this that do give you a chance to get the feature character.

  • My only complaint is the 4 hour flash feud...what if we had 3 10 hour feuds and call it a day?

    -evil empire

  • Not much incentive for warscore once you get past the milestone that gives your faction the needed points. 40M to max and get a few shard chests. I had my best guys and steps etc…. Still averaging about 1M per flash feud. I’d have to do 40 at 3/hr so 13 hours of doing nothing with my life except feud. I’ll pass. I play the game to kill time in the bathroom. Doesn’t consume my life or my money.

You need to start paying more attention to what and how you write things on the blog.. twisting things mid event is totally unfair and kinda like false advertisement... After the launch of events If you screwed up you should adequate the game to what the blog says and not viceversa, that would prevent the whole community to be mad at you

    Other than that decent event

  • fued is fun as always. Misleading on obtainability of Brett HoF, i spent a fair amount and still came up short even after the 50 free shards… otherwise I’m happy

  • Unfortunately this will never happen. Their mistake that benefits players won’t be made right. You may get a “I’m sorry” present with 3 TP in it, but they will just ignore and move on to the next month. Just like the Halloween event when people pulled zRock and Scopely took him back because the odds were wrong. I literally pulled it and Scopely removed it. They don’t care about your shards.

Can't complain about the amount of shards obtainable w/out spending $

    Tour was pretty good

I wish times on flash feuds were more balanced

All in all, not the best event, but certainly not the worst

Due diligence, proof reading, quality control, ethics. Start there and then copy/paste the event.

Goal posts continually move. You want players to spend money, yet it's "subject to change". The money charged to my credit card isn't subject to change so why should the event be.

Fued same old same, flash Fued times never "perfect" for everyone. That's why 24h or 20h are just better.

Milestone prizes don't scale and rarely justify the efforts/time/resources of doing more

Kickout damage perk was unnecessary. People just want offense, not defense.

Are we at the end game? Feels like we jumped the shark multiple times, zombies, MOTU, now Mutants. At 5G, the move slots are maxed, I can't see you overhauling 400+ wrestlers for additional moves. So just continue to release OP guys with gears and plates and new metas

The tours were good. The milestones were ridiculously hard to hit the last half. My faction and I kept getting you need to heal errors when starting a feud. And, as always, please fix matchmaking. The only really good thing was that the pulls on the paid loot were really good.

As a whole I liked the event. I won't go into the obvious issuse in regards to the blog and shards in tours as that a separate issue in my opinion.

The ability to grind out warscore and tours for a ss that was basically free the time was put in is always a good thing and the milestones rewards were good for the work needed.

My only concerns were with the scoring for unique wins being lowered and the times of some of the feuds not be as good as prev times . But overall great ss and good grindable event.

Good event all around in my view. I know everyone seems to be upset about the shards, but you still made an event where a little bit of spending got you the option to recruit the new card. Less spending if you had the time to put up a huge feud score.

Otherwise pretty normal event and set with resources to go after another month.
