Missing HOF Bret shards

Fact that everyone is also the claim that they meant that was the ‘total number of shards in bags’ - this is false because if you would have pulled Bret in those bags then that would not have been total number of shards in the bags.

This is insane how poorly handled and managed this situation is- Unhelpful responses/attitude from mods and radio silence from Scopely. Just another in a long line of:

Favours the player - it’s a mistake/subject to change, remove and send 5 ‘appreciation bags’

Favours Scope - Working as intended.

Absolutely pathertic move to short us players the shards to something that was advertised already.

the fact that the blog post for HOF Bret says that 375 shards were available on the limited time tour in addition to 3 silver bags and 9 bronze bags, and no shards are on the tours is one of the worst pieces of communication the company has done.

The feuding was made harder by lower first time scoring. A huge piece of the community feuded differently because of expected shards on tour.

These things lead to lack of faith in your brand, and ends the month on a very poor note. The shards need to be added. No other resolution seems right.

Boycott? How'd that go when people tired a spending ban?

As someone in this game that doesn't do alot of spending I trying to make up the gap by using my time wisely to make good decisions to advance in the game. One of these ways is by using the blog info to decide what type of time investment is need to achieve my target goal. In this case by providing inaccurate info you have effectively taken away a players choice in regards to how they play the game. Speaking for myself if the shard info had been correct I would if pushed for the 40mil warscore instead of stopping at a reasonable hr and wait to do a tour that was lacking the promised goods.

What's the purpose of a blog if we can't take the info given as a credible and reliable source, and instead can only view it as a what if piece of fiction.

If you're willing put something "live" and fix it on the fly under the guise as not "working as intended".

Honestly you failed due diligence or quality control. Not the players fault, we have 0 ability to code your game.

We didn't say 375 shards and not code it, we didn't say first time win of 100k and then switch to 50k. The goal posts keep moving at all times.

Accept responsibility, and move forward, next time do a better job.

It's 5+ years of the same bait and switch and fix the plane while flying.

This game should be running 1 month ahead on a test server so execution is flawless.

100% agreed. If you guys say that this will be in there, so be it. "Oh, a lot of people will get him feely". It's your own fault scopely. Next time, don't drop the ball. Simple as that. But, once you promise something, deliver it. That's fair to your community!

Agree with Scott above, towing the company line in this instance and trying to wrap people up about pedantic details - when you are truly aware this is a joke. That’s not helpful and just adding fuel to the fire.

I maxed the war score in the hope of getting them shards . But with Shawn being in the leaderboard rewards for the new mlc it makes sense now . Bret screwed Bret and scopely screws us . But unlike the Bret screw job yours is day after day , week after week & we still come back for more as the last screw was not hard enough.

So whatever way you look at it you lied if that was in the bags then the poster itself wasn't in the bag simple fact people spent and done as much as they needed to recruit him off your blog information then after the fueds and tours you change it

Be careful they might remove him and give you 25 shards 🙄
