Note: there are many combinations of Moves and Entourage effects that work for Rey. Feel free to experiment!

Build 1

Prioritize your opponent's best match. Use Diving Huracanrana to charge your Finisher (ideally without causing a Pin), then use Diving Splash and place Column Break Gems on Purple Gems within columns that contain as many Blue Gems as possible. Follow up with West Coast Pop and destroy the Column Breaks for huge damage and to help recharge your Moves!

Build 2

Prioritize your opponent's best match. Activate Tilt-A-Whirl Headscissors each turn to maintain a high number of Blue Gems on the board, and use Springboard Crossbody each turn to create large numbers of Column Break Gems. Follow up with Diving Huracanrana and use it to match the Column Break Gems (ideally in columns containing as many Blue Gems as possible) to deal repeated consistent damage and to help recharge your Moves!

Build 3

Use Mysterio-canrana right away and place Traps on Gems your opponent is likely to break, and separately on Purple Gems, then prioritize Purple matches. Allow your opponent to break their Traps to force a Pin, then use Reversal for an absolutely devastating kickout. Follow up with West Coast Pop to deal big damage and to help recharge your Purple Moves!

Strong Against: Superstars that rely on damage-over-time strategies.

Weak Against: Superstars that aggressively target Column Break Gems.
