Not down but some are needing to reinstall after updating.

I was dealing with the same thing. Deleted the app and reinstalled, and it opened right up for me.

it's an easy fix, just delete your cache and data and restart the game, that will fix it, also the way to fix most possible issues.
there's also a new update to prevent that
