Bring back the "NEW" feature for medals
We have all given this new system a chance over the last few months and it isnt working out for us. The simplicity of being able to keep the medals you got 3 weeks ago is gone. They now become lost in the shuffle of obtaining new medals.
Having the "NEW" indicator meant only having to sort through the new medals we have recently obtained to cherry pick which of these medals we would like to keep in our collection for future use. Now without it we are tasked with having to sort through 3-400 every time we get a new batch of medals to try to figure out what we havent already decided we want to keep.
It has become such a chore to go through medals that I have hundreds of tier 4 medal cases unopened because I dont want to have to spend hours rooting through my medals abd evaluating which ones might be the new ones that I dont want to keep.
Please bring back the "NEW" medals feature so we dont have to spend hours sorting through medals and instead can actually play the game.
Everyone grab a pitchfork and lets show Scopely we want to be able to sort our medals as easy as we once were able to. #BringBackTheNEW

I mentioned this on the update feedback when this was removed. Was ignored per usual. Anyway, yes the "new" feature is very helpful with the medals and I don't understand why it was removed

in addition to this better filters are needed. For example there is use for t3 move damage medals but no use for any other t3 medals so filtering out the move damage medals would make things easier as well. The removal of the new feature alone was awful the lack of common sense filters is just insult to injury

Please return the new button. I feel like I end up selling medals that I may have at some point considered useful or not being able to confirm what I purchased from the stipulation tour shop. I have not used any of the "upgrades" at all compared to the heavy use that I got out of the "new" button.

Please, Bring back this feature,
Just adding new medals into the inventory clutter playing hide and seek is real headache,
It's got to the point where I am even letting medals expire to avoid the migraine of trying to pick and pray through my medals on what to sell, Even though I am always in need for Medal Bits, it just isn't worth it
Please fix this wrong and bring "New" back!

Just FYI the workaround for this is to upgrade all of your existing medals to level 2 and then you’ll always know what is new from now on.
That being said, it’s ridiculous to need to resort to a workaround like that in the first place. If the functionality already existed in the game before, it’s not too much to ask Scopely to bring it back.

I'm in a similar boat, the feature used to save a lot of time in comparison to now.

Thanks for raising this @Broken963 . We will be reading the responses closely and looking in particular at ideas to improve medal management and utility.

@Broken963 makes excellent points. We need a way to distinguish our medals and that was something that we didn’t ask to remove.

In addition to being able to sort using the new button, I would also like to be able to sell the medals I do not want from my locker without having to make space in inventory for medals I do not want anyway.

Yeah, it's something I've been wondering for a long time since it happened...why did you have to remove a useful feature? Need more space? Remove the global chat, most of the time is full of awkwardness, when it's not full of offensive s*it....and add to the game a "Join the forum if you need help" button...

I don’t understand why you even took it away.
it’s really hard to sort New Medals out when you get 10 new ones.

All good points!, As a numbers based game and ever increasing inventories I can see struggles of not having an optimal sorting methods. Looking forward to seeing more constructive feedback on the topic.

100% The player base needs the NEW feature for medals back! Makes deleting unneeded medals much more easy.
Also the new Daily Insta-Claim is fantastic! Makes the game feel less like a chore/job and the bonus after 7 days really helps with events and roster building.

Please return the new button. I feel like I end up selling medals that I may have at some point considered useful or not being able to confirm what I purchased from the stipulation tour shop and what I have got from the milestones rewards cause it's hard to remember all the new medals which was claimed few min ago . The workload is increase because of removing new button from medal so I request you to please bring back the "new button" .
And lastly the daily instant claim is awesome that reduce the lots of works now it dont feel like a job and after claiming for 7 days the rewards are helping us a lot to work on our roster .

Being able to easily tell which medals were new was a HUGE help. Please bring this feature back.

I heartily endorse having "new" added back to the medals. When it comes to tier 1 or 2 medals, it's easy for me to remove those as I don't keep any of them.
However as someone who gets dozens of tier 3 and 4 medals weekly in milestones, it'll save me a ton of time as I have to review a couple of hundred medals one to multiple times a week to make sure I keep the ones I want and sell the ones I don't. It's a very tedious process.

We definitely need the new button back for medals. I have plenty of medal boxes sitting in my inventory that I don't want to open because then I would have to hunt down all the new ones one by one. Bring it back asap

I agree with the people above that we need to have the new button returned. We have the new button for straps so it would make sense to have it for medals.
I leave medals unopened because I dont want to take the time to go through each medal to try and find the new ones.

Please bring back the new filter for medals? It’s a pain in the ass to have to sort thru them now and there’s no telling how much removing it has increased support traffic due to accidental selling of medals. Such a stupid removal in my opinion that should be returned immediately. I guess it falls in line with the rest of the inconsistent behavior from support functions for this game.

I have to agree bring back the new feature for the medals you should replace the filter button it's the most useless one in my opinion.
