This would have been an excellent even if not for 2 factors. 1st is RNG.... I understand its a part of games, but this is ridiculous. The RNG that is involved in this particular contest is ridiculous. You have to get lucky to get candies and on top of that you have to get lucky in coffin pulls to get anything really worthwhile. Enough is enough, please stop drowning us in RNG. Second, is the pay to play aspect. Once again, you had to pay to max the solo milestone. Not only did you have to pay, but you had to pay A LOT. I realize people keep doing it, but your killing your player base with these type of events. What happened to being able to max solo events during showdown without having to spend? Not to mention this was the 4th spend event of the week! Give us a break.

If not for those 2 factors, this event would have been a huge success imo. Hopefully coin and TP will be tied in to events like this more as well.

Pros: The tours have a lot of candy buckets to give points toward the event, the faction event was a great setup. Good rewards and maxable through grinding and a little luck on superstars.

Cons: so many bugs made this awful. Solo rewards not paying out for multiple players with no resolution in sight. Support closing tickets of those that opened them to get the earned rewards. The showdown not starting as described in the blog, the faction event not paying out the rewards for some players, the blitz having scoring issues at the start, the showdown being limited to a few hours at launch. So many missed opportunities and simple checks that should have made this a great event in a long time.

Pros-Tours were reasonable and lots of candy in them. Good rewards in the faction contest with about 16 factions maxing it.

Cons- the candy was really RNG and was too difficult to get anything good. Milestones collection bug hit a lot of people and when it was raised as an issue it was told to contact support who did nothing.

Showdown-Same problems for showdown with too many can't find opponents even at higher levels, too much notoriety lost, getting hit on defense multiple times.

Pros - Tours were good and achievable.. Those stun immunity belts on hell mode were a nice twist especially making people run zAustin a different way.

Cons - Showdown was once again trash, still stands on taking the one game mode everyone liked and ruined it. The milestone errors and bugs weren’t good either. The 299 bags to make sure there wasn’t a tie was pretty sneaky making it into a spend and RNG event at the end.

  • Pros-The tours allowed for many without the bonus characters to complete while still having smaller limits to leave some challenge. Overall a nice balance on the tours. Some were not happy about the tour requiring zaustin on hell to also have stun immunity but personally I didn’t mind I enjoyed thinking a little outside the box. The solo event allowed factions to work together to figure out who could do which matches.

Cons- The biggest negative of the event was the glitch where some were unable to properly claim rewards. Coins and event points were not properly received. Devs were informed of this on Friday but a proper response and ability to look into it was not acknowledged until Monday morning when it is more then likely too late for any fix to be deployed. The good will gained from the change to monthlong log in rewards was quickly lost due to this lack of communication. Mods and ambassadors were both ready and willing to communicate anything back to leaders and the playerbase as a whole (constantly questioning across the weekend) but nothing was communicated to us. Also a note being I spent this event in a lower faction instead of my normal spot. Outside the top 10 maybe 15 factions many seem to suffer in these shared point events. The proliferation of the highest point total characters isn’t seen or felt there and as a result any effort or interested is severely damaged. If possible going forward it would be nice to see one of the more common characters to on occasion to be worth more points to allow the events to be enjoyed more evenly.

  • As far as the tours I’m 50/50 with it, don’t get me wrong it’s was at least to me was okay, until hell mode where those rare characters were needed. However with the amount of candies at least there was some good rewards in tp and coins which I felt personally was lacking.
