Snoop's Long Beach 93 Debut Contest
Comments
-
Solo Event: Pretty good overall. Bags helped to provide extra rewards and they were a positive aspect in this event. Milestones were achievable without spending, although the TU could have been tough if people were lacking Techs and Tricksters for points.
Faction Event: It was a good idea that needs to have a better balance if the idea is to run similar events in the future. Rewards were great but shards were super rare to find, some people spent $100-$200+ without pulling a single shard. The entire weekend provided only a single offer with faction points.
Tours: Decent but would have been better if the CSS for the sunday tour matched what blog had as requirements. A lot of players were surprised to see that it was restricted to Tech Becky and Tech Roman as CSS when blog stated "any".
Offers: We could have seen more offers with faction points. Perhaps even guaranteed Snoop shards in one RNG bag. Not many attractive options this weekend.
Loot: Snoop shards, despite being in a common pool, were really hard to pull. If the idea is to make us spend, then would be great if we could see some shards when spending $100+, which didn't happened for a lot of players.

Great event.
Good rewards, player base friendly requirements,no major issues in sd,nice shards amount.
The only major for me is faction event.
You could spend 100 bucks and still get zero faction points so that was a big letdown.
Loot pulls should have counted for points.
9/10 for this event.

The individual SD was good in general terms, the requirements, prizes and number of fights was reasonable, the bad thing is that you could not maximize the event without spending real money. The faction SD had amazing prizes but it was 100% money to win them and it still didn't guarantee anything so it doesn't have a good rating.

It was ok but premium shards are to few and far between. Please try to be more diverse or give multiple shard options like choose A,B, or C shards for different Superstars that each player may need in the future. Thanks

I have several thoughts about the game.
on the SD Event:
Plus :
Matchmaking - Leveled up accordingly like last SD.
Rewards - A lot of coins, great prizes,
Requirements - Very open, very user friendly. Top tier superstars should be added in monthly and limited time events too.
Cons:
During battle game freezed and the sperstar like 5sb or 5ss comes at zero health really hurts :(

Despite some tech issues and bugs its a really fun experience within the game. Bringing one of the biggest music icons into the game, it may be a 50/50 chance to obtaining him and able to gain entrys into a draw like this is a 1 in a life time opportunity i do wish that i could land the most influential icons in the music industry.

Again, showdown events are getting just better and better.
Great rewards, easy character requirements, smooth servers during event, again great rewards, great matchmaking, and again great rewards. There is just one drawback. And it's faction event which is too much p2p, but we got pretty great rewards again there so I can understand that. Showdown is becoming the best and most excited event, slowly but surely.

Snoop’s long beach 93 debut contest pros and cons. pros very decent rewards ,required superstars where average and most people would have them, match amounts where obtainable faction rewards where also very good Cons faction contest purely spend event and little chance of shards of snoop maybe add other characters or other ways to obtain shards

This game has so many moving parts that I don't event know what you want feedback for.
The Solo Event:
PROS:
Some good ways to earn points. I didn't have to have pay-per-play characters to get anything above level 3 rewards. And I didn't need to spend money just to get some contest points.Makes it feel like I'm getting rewarded for gameplay instead of getting rewarded for opening my wallet.
CONS:
The showdown points being added to the contest score seemed to stop when the showdown event stopped. I think it should have kept allowing standard showdown points to be added in.
Hate the timing. Had a busy weekend, so I couldn't participate as much as I'd like. Weekend events are often like this. It may be a day off from work, but not a day off of family and life.
The Faction Event:
Looked like a pure money grab. I did not participate.
OVERALL:
I still don't care for Snoop being a playable character. Coming off of a non-wrestler gimmick month with the mutants, having another is not appealing. As long as you're on this track, why not have a Drew Carey event come Royal Rumble time?

Very good this SD event.
Individual:
An Easy to Maximize Event, with bonus fighters accessible on tour, already in the SD, is also very accessible.
Awards I also liked the way it was done, I took a lot of Erick fragments, I even recruited. I saw a lot of people recruiting him.
We also had fragments of other fighters, that many took Becky, Rhea or Drew, in this part I found a hit by Scopely.
In the Faction event, it was very difficult to maximize, as I was lucky to get the fragments, maybe I could improve in this aspect.
overall I liked the event, which gave us a lot of resources for the month. Congratulations Scopely.

The event was average for us ftp players don't have either snoop so can't comment on the pros and cons of having either and what I was looking forward 2 I still fell short 60 shards I guess that's probably another character I will never acquire on my roster

Solo contest : Very achievable with nice rewards. Final milestone could be a bit more lucrative but overall pretty pretty pretty good
Rewards - A lot of coins, great prizes, I got 3 new cards (Eric, Tech Drew, Ember)
Requirements - Very open, very user friendly. Number of matches was not ridiculous.
Cons:
Faction Event - Way too random. The odds of pulling Snoop are so low, seems impossible to score any points. If it’s a spend Event, then count all spending.

Solo contest: very player friendly in terms of required characters. Lots of good resources and the characters in the tech shard bags are ones that would improve any roster
Faction contest: not a fan of contests where the only point method is RNG based.
SNOoooooooooooOOP!

Looking at some of the other comments, guess I'll add-on that this showdown weekend was a big win.
Pros - Matchmaking was very well-balanced. Didn't have a single issue like awhile back when you couldn't battle and constantly refreshed with coins. The hardest matches came just at or near the 1000 notoriety level, so that felt legitimate. Rewards were good, and especially like the variety of different bags. The shard system is working, since the weekend grab-bags from milestones is something that motivates me each weekend. Finally, the contest superstars wasn't a high requirement like past showdowns, everyone had a chance if they grinded who was required.
Cons - Faction event looked promising with great rewards, but milestones felt unobtainable after just the first milestone. And for whatever reason, the weekend tours were a bit underwhelming for rewards. The boss in two of the hell nodes (if I remember right) were just health packs. Would have liked to have seen a few Snoop 93 Event points for the solo event included in those tours.

Overall, I enjoyed the contest. The contest provided a ton of rewards but practically no one got snoop or shards and it became a money contest. I think the weekend character should be more gettable. With that exception, I would recommend weekend contests like this.

The matchmaking during the showdown event was the best it’s ever been. The required wrestlers seemed to be much more available than in the past which made it easier to hit milestones. The wrestler pulls from paid loot we’re really good, at least for me. I got powerhouse Drew, Shamrock, Eric, and APA Farooq. The milestone and tour rewards were great, it makes leveling up my new wrestlers easier than in the past. Overall it was a really good weekend event.

I thoughts this was a very good event i appreciated that the css where ones that most people available to them. I loved the rewards from the milestones and the bags. My only negative would be that the faction contest wasn't grindable and relied solely on rng and you could spend alot and not get a single Snoop shard

Not a huge fan of this event. Key Points:
Solo:
- At least I could complete it with minimal spending. Dropped $7 for the first loot coin bonus and that was it. Once again, the milestones were full of shards for guys I already have. Erik is a decent striker, but I've got better, so 500x shard for him does nothing for me. I had everyone in the bags already as well. I would have rather just had TP that I could use on anyone. Also, Scopely, if nothing else, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TAKE THE MEDAL BITS OUT OF THE MILESTONE BAGS!!! No one wants 15k medal bits for a "major" milestone rewards. That is literally about 5 minutes of grinding any random hell node. Change it to strap parts if nothing else.
Faction:
- Was this a mistake? The only was to score was spending. There are shard chests in the vault but I doubt anyone had enough coins at this point to unlock them. I'm really kinda confused about this to be honest, as you could drop $100 or more and still have 0 score.
Tours:
- Another confusing thing. Nothing really related to the contest itself, as there were no solo or faction points in any of the tours. Really more of a random restricted kickback tour. Ok, I guess?
Showdown:
- Seems to finally have all the bugs worked out. Glad the bonus categories were fairly easy to complete. Overall, no issues and functioned properly.
Overall Thoughts:
- This weekend just kinda seemed like a hodgepodge of unrelated stuff. There was no connection between SD and faction event; tours and solo event; or tours and faction event. Resources were ok but for someone that already had everyone but Acro Snoop, it didn't do much for me.

I enjoyed the contest, it gave us many opportunities to earn tokens, coins, and tp…. Unfortunately it seems like spending is the only way to get the special superstar. I wish there was free pulls available at the higher tier rewards ie 13/15, 14/15, 15/15 and give like 3, 4, 5 pulls toward the “pay” pull section. Timing and event was fun and enjoyable. Snoop doesn’t look like him but it’s ok cause he is still Snoop! Thanks for the efforts

My feed back about all event this day
it’s all depend for luck even you spend much money you can’t get the characters
not like old days when you max solo event you get the character
I will not lie it’s better chance for FRB player to get top superstar it’s all depend in luck
but for spender nothing sure

My comment was moved here so deleting this.

All in all, this was a really enjoyable event. The resources were great, the requirements were reasonable, and the time spent was not unhealthy.
Faction contest it was very hard see a lot of Players expend a good amount of money, and not getting a signle snoop's shard

Odds of winning are horrible whether that be loot drops purchases or earned by gameplay.
I have literally pulled nothing but 10 shards or blitz tickets.
I have spent my last dollars on this game.

Not sure how much I'll be able to comment on that hasn't already been commented on.
- It's a... bold move to release a character that almost immediately outdoes the chase character. I guess some could argue the same thing happened last month with Balor, but at least Balor has a significantly different play style.
- Showdown was once again good - I thought it was a bit rougher this time around but nothing insurmountable. Requirements were good, I got a lot of coins, and I got quite a ways into the competition. All good stuff all around.
- Tours were also pretty nice, with even the Sunday tour not being as bad as anticipated. Also not really much to complain about here.
- The bags given out were also in this weird spot where I wouldn't call them bad, but if you're confident enough to give out 20+ of them as a milestone reward then they obviously can't be all that great. I think everyone in the game was able to unlock Erik, that's for sure.
- Faction contest, as many have said, was the worst kind of spending contest - one that doesn't guarantee you progress for spending. And don't think I didn't notice you put 75% of those 20 million coins one could earn in the event behind those last milestones.

Much better event outside of the few bugs it was really solid. Everyone in the community had realistic chance to max the solo without spending an absurd amount of money. Thumbs up

The solo event was very decent for once, although for the effort required to max, the final milestone should have been better.
The faction contest was a complete joke, but at least everyone got whatever rewards the rest of their faction did.

IGN : sK chaMPions
This was a decent event.
PROS:
●Solo contest was really good . It wasn't possible to max without spending but it the milestone rewards were better than previous SD events. Contest superstars being common characters was a good change.
● Bags were the best thing about this event. Coins, tp , medals shards , it was great.
●Looks like showdown bugs and match making are finally fixed...hopefully it stays that way.
CONS:
●I don't like the fact that a ridiculously strong acrobat was released when the chase character is also an acrobat . Makes morrison less appealing. 👎
●Faction event was a mess. You could spend 100$ and get no snoop shards out the pulls , so you contributed nothing in the faction contest.
●Tours were below average. Where were the faction and solo event points ? Tours honestly didn't made any sense to me .
