Snoop's Long Beach 93 Debut Contest

Solo Contest
Pros
- Required superstars were probably the most accessible they've been in years. While the required number of matches were a little high, there were plenty of opportunities to double or triple dip in matches
- As an almost direct result, this ended up being my first ever solo showdown contest maxed. And the rewards were pretty good, so I was happy with that.
Cons
- Showdown coin scoring issues at start of contest - I would guess there were no shortage of people that assumed that the SD coin for point gain began right at reset and may have claimed their saved weekly rewards for a quick head start or pushed through a couple showdown matches before realizing it wasn't counting. Sometimes things just need to work, and if you're going to change it we need some communication BEFORE the event begins if expectations have been set from previous events. More on this point later.
Faction Contest
Pros
- Rewards are very generous and plentiful, both in milestones and the leaderboards.
Cons
- Unfortunately, progress and placement in this event is dictated by how much the faction spends, and it's a high, high spend event. If there was ever a time to bring back the 1-2-3 Kid style of awarding 1-3 Snoop Dogg shards as a common reward, it would have been this event. However, Snoop Dogg shards were placed as a "jackpot" in the common pool. As a player, that feeling of helplessness where there's no opportunity to even grind out a chance at 10-15 Snoop Dogg shards is a real drag on the whole event. Even in contests that are based around spending, players should have the opportunity to avoid putting up a zero in the event for free, with no luck involved.
Showdown Tournament
Pros
- I was able to max both days with very little issue. This is how it should be, as I have made the proper investment in my roster to make sure that I am built for competing in showdown. There were few technical issues to get in between me and the grind. If every showdown was like this you'd hear no complaints from me.
Cons
- The few technical issues are still unacceptable at this stage in the game's development. The amount of health packs that are being awarded through content in this game are not enough to make up for the myriad errors that sap health packs and the (admittedly probably overwhelmed) support team's delayed reaction to tickets.
Tours
Pros
- The first two tours were very wide-open, as promised, and provided decent rewards for minimal busy work, which is much appreciated during these weekend events built around busy work.
Cons
- The final tour was a blog switcheroo, moving it to Technician-only. And of course, this was the tour with the other blog switcheroo where someone added an extra zero to the coins in the blog and ginned up excitement with content creators previewing the event before the decision was made that it was actually a mistake. I get it - nothing on the blog is final. And the coin thing was probably an honest mistake. But the decision to make the "Sunday Tour" the second technician tour of the weekend feels like an unnecessary change that only frustrates players and furthers the notion that the dev team is always tweaking, whether necessary or not, whenever the ARPDAU gets too low for Scopely's liking.

One the best events in a while for sure, contest superstars were super common and pretty much everyone had a good chance of reaching high milestones. Also, like when we have good amount of grab bags and other resources such as tp as rewards, gives a decent chance to get closer to someone with loads of shards and gives always needed resources. Good job!

Pros: Love that it was just tech, trick, any Roman, any Becky. It is annoying when there are 12 different characters and you may not have 5 of them. Fun to play and max this event.
Cons: Faction event being spend only was bad, especially since spending didn't guarantee points. The rewards for the solo contest were kind of weak.

By far THEE WORSE faction event I have ever played. This spend event was down right ridiculous as shards were practically impossible to get. This event shows that the creators are money hungry and while I'm sure this have makes great money, you will lose players due to events like this.
The solo event was pretty decent. The openness of characters to get points was pretty great

Here's my pros and cons
Pros:
- The matchmaking was good and made it possible to earn the max amount of coin e both days;
- The rewards were mostly good, would have like to see the minimum shards go up a bit;
- The requirements were very inclusive and almost everyone had the possibility of maxing the bonuses.
Cons:
- The Faction Event was lame... I maxed the solo event and even bought some loot coins and didn't get a single shard for Snoop;
- After getting the max amount of coins both days, getting all bonuses and getting over 49k in the weekly SD bonus still fell 600k points short of maxing the solo event which meant o buying loot coins and spending almost every coint and tp earned in the previous milestones to get those last two.

Rewards for SD were very good and welcome. I received over 50m in coins which no one can say is a bad thing.
The SD event itself was also decent, I had all required superstars which helped me max solo event.
The first few milestone rewards for the faction event were incredible. I received 10 million from first few milestones.
Beyond that, the faction event was very poor. SD faction events should NOT be spent events only.
Same goes for the tour, very very poor rewards.
Overall I can't complain too much due to the vast amount of coins I received... but take a look at how many factions didn't max the faction event and that tells you something.

Glad for the increase in showdown coins. The thing I wasn't happy with I maxed all the coins I could get even from regular showdown. Used all the characters that gave extra points and still came up short 2 milestones in the solo event. That's not cool. The bugs that used to be in showdown seem to be gone but we still are dealing problems in matches with the game lagging between moves. If a match goes for more 4 or 5 moves its almost becomes unplayable. Also wasn't crazy over the faction event. Couldn't get any points unless you lucked up and got snoop shards

This showdown event was very open in the special character department. This made the showdown fun and effective. The contest was very well balanced. The only downside is the fact the faction contest was mostly a pay contest.

Pros: This was one of my favorite events in terms of pretty much everyone having the required superstars. I really support the event superstars being more common and open requirements.
Also, the design and game play of the new Snoop Dog are great. He’s a very powerful superstar and has a great, very needed training ability.
Cons: It was very disappointing the event the event and tours were broken at launch and for a few hours after launch.

Solo event was pretty much on point to be honest I can't really complain except for there being no snoop shards anywhere to contribute to the faction event.
The faction event i feel was an utter disgrace and not thought out at all as it was based purely on spending and getting lucky from pulls, this was not friendly for everyone in the faction to score points you should really have had shards in the tours for that.

You've got the ridiculous talent up contest, the standards for this were just as bad. Not letting us max an event without spending a lot of resources or money is ludicrous. The Pay To Win bar to players is way out of line.

This was a unique event. You guys almost hit this one out of the park but it will be called a ground rule double.
Everything about the solo part of this event was solid. The event was 100% grindable to max using talent up. The tours were accessible to the entire playing base, and the last man standing event was a unique adder to the weekend. I really enjoyed the showdown this weekend.
My only complaint which has been mentioned many, many times was the faction event. It was 100% spend and you were not even guaranteed to score any points. I am not a fan of anything that is random as shard amounts and when the only way to possibly achieve them was by luck in loot pulls it really hurt the morale for the faction event. Spending should never be required but should make achieving things easier.
Overall I would give the weekend a 7 out of 10 with a tweak to the faction portion being all that is needed to make this a 10/10 event in my book.

It was a good event many vault coins has brought and giving free 1 vault coin every day was a good option
Solo contest- solo contest in this event was made good , introducing more contest superstars in showdown event and more bonus for playing showdown with modern era and that all made that event good but decreasing showdown coins points to 10 was not need although it was good in some other stuff like contest bonus but WWE champions can atleast give 50 points for showdown coins
Fraction contest- fraction contest in this event was not good , although it was a fraction so atleast boost to this events solo contest by giving points in fraction was a good option but I hope WWE champions would make that better in another upcoming event
Tours- the first two tours in this event was better but the 3rd tour can't play without 2 technicians and it was not necessary in this contest and but although it was a better event
Showdown- it was a good experience like the last event which the showdown coins were increased that was a very helpful choice , although WWE champions is creating more improvement in events and that is appreciated and hope WWE champions would bring more improvements in upcoming events
Thanku WWE champions and scopely

I opened every snoop dogg bag and didn’t get either one of the snoop dogg superstars. Quite disappointing

Positive side of it all I earned enough rhea ripley shards to unlock her

I liked the event, but I honestly don't feel like we needed another Snoop.
The structure of the event was fine. I'd love to see some new wrestlers or old attitude era/New Generation wrestlers

Showdown improvement has been massive with it far more rewarding to those with higher tier guys for showdown. Tours fine other than the complete mess at the start
faction event… well changing the requirements after the start and having it purely spend with not even a way to get yourself on the leaderboard just isn’t very inclusive

The solo event and Showdown in general was very nice. Probably the best one I've experienced yet in all my time of playing in terms of myself and my faction mates having alot of the required superstars. More of this in future would be great.
Faction event could have been better as it was very hard for alot of the factions to even get milestones. I also did not really like how often the drop bags from this event were dropping the Erik shards. It seemed like myself & everyone else I know just kept getting Erik shards, the rate didnt seem to be even or fair with the other things in the bags.
Overall though this was definitely a great event where you were able to get some very nice rewards for putting the time in. So great work on that!

I liked this event in the individual a lot of resources, but regards the money spend that need yo be worked overall good event keep this events to have your rates increase

Good things of the he event:
1. Good rewards for solo and faction event.
Bad things of the event:
1. Impossible to complete solo event without expending real money or all resources.
2.The faction event was full Pay to play.
3.We did not get points per sd coins for faction event.
4.Faction event impossible to max so no matter how good the reward was, we were unable to get them.

The event was okay
Good amount of coins but no shards and #14 down in our faction has zero score in the faction event if we don't spend
There should at least be some shards in the bags
Thanks

There is a definite lack of shards available to unlock without spending significant cash. Not satisfied with faction event

This event was finally a good one . The rewards were great and no crash or bug during the showdown . As usual sadly, the new superstar seem to be impossible to draft....the solo event was doable but the faction one was out of reach for factions that doesn't spend a lot . Keep going !

PRO
SD event is awesome this time around I get to spend time with the kids while maxing the SD so well done on that part for making it easier for us.
Tour for the event was easy aswell another pat on the back for you guys again.
CONS:
As per all the comments with the faction event I did spend money hoping to get some points for my faction but to no avail. Next time hopefully that it will count what you done on a pull towards the faction event or even create a different special color coin/token for a spend event for the faction event like you have done I the past.
Once again it is a good event hope that you guys continue towards that path in the near future.

I believe this contest was very accessible and the formula works I feel a boost in notoriety gain wouldn’t be a miss as my partner experienced issues of being attacked as much as she was winning therefore didn’t break the 1000 mark whereas I maxed both days and didn’t get all contest superstar points however I still managed to make the second to last milestone all in all in my opinion this was the best showdown to date and the formula works but a few more tweaks to notoriety would greatly help experienced and newer players alike all in all great job on the event and I can see the game getting further in the future if the correct adjustments can be made. Not many complaints from this weekend but very very good and hope this kind of contest persists

Great for resources but bugs and issues going around again. Ms 3 rewards given after 4 was achieved as example. Faction event as pure spend was an awful idea and hopefully you see by very few maxing it that this is a true statement. Required ss were more open which was nice. Would love to see more points for completing x amount of sd matches as well.

I'm only going to focus on the cons because it seems like the pros are pretty standard across the board.
Start of the event - the tours were broken. You could do them, but weren't awarded anything for doing them. I finished the the first tour - normal. And I didn't receive any faction points for the contest. Twitter had a post that we were going to be compensated before the end of the event, but it looks like it's an hour before the event ends and I don't know if I was compensated points it. A message would have been nice from admin where I could claim the points, but now I can only ASSUME I did or did not.
The spend event for the faction - this was terrible idea. Like give us points for the loot coins, not getting shards which seemed like a small % to get. Bought a pack of coins, just to receive zero shards.

First the good things:
1) Tours are good to handle. Think everybody should have at least one tech or one modern era. Tour 3 special characters needed, but also playable with "normal" techs. So i think great.
2) solo contest: doable, no snoop needed for extra 1mil points. 100% the right way. Great!
3) loot: yes, of course ridiculous chances again to grab a top tier at 4s or 5s, but at least no ordinary 2s bullshit stars. Many good guys at 3s obtainable. So ok for me.
Now the negative points:
1) faction pay to win contest! Realy? 500$ and poorly 80shards for the event is ridiculous! Why did you change the faction contest in this way? Thats bullshit.
2) milestones faction contest shows as grabbed also they wasnt. Thats horrible. Ok you set it back, but some players got these ms double so its unfair to those who realy were affected.
3) no attacks in tournament the whole two days no matter if high or low defense is set. Thats strange...

Seems this was a pretty good event…
as far as play: pvp seemed a lot fairer… more evenly transition to harder players… I don’t think I was over matched at all….
I did crash on tours 2x…
prizes from the wall were good on an overall basis…
only complaint was there was no snoop shards seems odd that the event was snoop based and the only way to get shards was to spend… last few events have been like that… hope that’s not a format that stays

First of all, I must say that I liked this SD event, although not 100% I liked it enough, I was able to reach the last milestone this time.
The good:
- They asked fighters that one already has or most already has and that made it easier to win the points and reach the milestones faster. This made for me a more friendly game than other times.
The bad:
- The event was to spend, I think that greatly tarnished the faction event, where only the best factions can benefit, for my part individually I was able to spend and reach the last milestone, but on the faction side we were left in debt in that part, which would have benefited all of the awards.
I hope they can improve even more. Since this was a good event
